Im a long hual truck driver they were willing to help setup guitar on short notice sounds very knowledgeable over the phone. Unfortunately I got stopped at the Arkansas scale in West Memphis. Will difently make it a habit to stop next time Im in the area.

Met Darren and found him to be friendly, and easy to talk with. He was able to repair a small guitar problem on the spot! How cool is that!? Thank you, Darren. 🤠

It is more of a place to have your instrument worked on. I love it because real musicians work there and there is all kinds of vintage parts guitars, and amplifiers I never know what they will bring out of the back.

Been with allstar since its been in existence. And the southern knights before that. Its the ONLY local music shop ill spend my hard earned money at.

Not as enlightened in guitar repair as I hoped and the attendant, who I believe was management, was.... condescending after he couldnt answer my test questions to see if he knew enough to warrant me asking about actual repair, but not exactly rude. Overall a great store and I will be back. Just not for repair advice.

Poor customer service.Was looking to upgrade my banjo so I gave them a call. Asked if they had any of the Fender concert tone banjo and was told no which was fine. But when I asked what they did carry I was told that unless I wanted to spend a grand or so they all came from the same place.My advice, in the future get off your butt and go look whenever a customer is willing to spend 400-600 bucks at your store. Answer the questions asked don’t tell me something irrelevant and act like I’m a bother.

Selection is sub-par and overpriced. You are always able to talk them down on the price however and the staff is serenely helpful and extremely knowledgeable. You can find a few brand name guitars and a large selection of drum kits. I think it deserves repeating the staff is fantastic!! (no I dont work there) ha

This may be the place to get an instrument repaired, but certainly not the place to buy. It does not look like the photo inside. I would compare it to looking like a run down flea market inside. As other reviewers have said, it was very overpriced. I asked for ukulele strings and they didnt even have any. Most items on the shelf were very outdated and dirty. The selection of music books was awful. I cant even see why they are still open as a music store.

Used to be a Decent store. Now youll probably get better gear at a pawn shop. Everything is overpriced and if you return something you only get store credit. Sadly I cant recommend All Star Music anymore.

Over priced merchandise. Didnt enjoy my visit at all. I purchased what i needed because it was my only choice but at a price three times what it should have been.
