If you have a very important gown you’re needing for a special day, I would recommend another place to go. I bought my wedding dress several sizes too big, and was told to wait 8 weeks prior to the wedding to book appointment. I made my appointment at 10 weeks, giving me 2 weeks to find a new dress after they messed my wedding dress up so bad 2 weeks prior to my wedding. When I went in today for supposed to be another fitting, she told me that she was unhappy with the dress, with me and my mom ( I left crying yesterday because they took in too much and didn’t have enough fabric to let back out, assuming they cut it) and so she told me to take my dress whatever it is then she’s done with it and my money and told me to go. Now, 2 weeks away from my wedding and I don’t even have a dress that fits me to wear!!! She also tried telling me that I’ve been gaining weight is why my dress is too tight. Well, luckily I track my weight with 5star nutrition. I’ve lost lbs and body fat, so not possible. I just can’t fathom any business messing up so badly and then telling a customer to take their money and item back and to leave. I wouldn’t wish this situation or service on any bride, prom girl, or anyone else with such an important gown on such an important day.

I cannot recommend Adornable highly enough. I’m a profoundly picky person, but Adornable is world-class and surpasses every expectation.A decade ago, Lilia altered my prom dress and has tailored several gowns and everyday clothing for me over the years. She also made several dance costumes. Most recently, she altered my wedding dress and went above and beyond to solve a designer screw-up that was not her job to fix. I thought I was going to have to buy a new dress, but Lilia worked actual magic and saved the day. The dress looks exactly how I envisioned. There’s no one I’d trust more with my clothes – in Joplin or anywhere else.

Something has changed. We had used them for years and had sent a ton of business their way, but our recent experience with them destroys any positive foundation that had been built. Not only did they not follow clear instructions (adding an embroidery logo to hats), they were extremely rude and crossed a line into hateful territory. I dont know what has changed, but its a deal breaker and took them from a 5-star to an immediate 1-star.

Best service we could have asked for! My wife and I are renewing our vows and we ordered a beautiful lace dress from Spain. The dress was custom-made to measurement, but my wife (who recently had our baby boy) lost a lot more weight than we expected before the ceremony. We needed last minute alterations and fast, and thats exactly what we received. Despite the high level of detail in the lace, we cant even see where the dress was altered! Quality work, quick turnaround, and very affordable. What more can you ask for?

She is so awesome! I never felt rushed, and she tried different ways of pinning it to see what worked. Definitely going back.

Does a great job on custom embroidery. We took our graphic there and they got it embroidered onto hats and shirts quickly and accurately. They had to make a few alterations to the logo to remove some minor details for it to look good in small format on the hats but the lady there knew what to do and instead of just sewing it like it was and having it turn out bad she suggested and then made the necessary changes to help me get a quality finished product.

We had the best experience at Adornable today! After a bad experience with another local shop in town-I was hesitant! The owners of Adornable were extremely helpful, friendly, and have reasonable pricing. A huge thank you to them for making my wedding planning less stressful!

I use this place to tailor my work shorts. Theyre very quick and accurate. Ive had them tailor 5 pairs of work shirts for me. Keep up the good work guys.

They altered my granddaughters prom dress. It had lots of beading on the bodice. When they were finished it fit beautifully and you couldnt tell it had been altered. Also the cost was very reasonable. Will always use them in the future.

I had adorable fix my wedding dress bustle after another alterations place left it too long. Adorable was able to fix it and added several more bustle points to get the dress off the ground for dancing without taking away from the beauty of the train. Excellent price for what she did and I’d definitely go back.

This place is great!! I was in tears when I got the dress I had ordered online, it was like 2 sizes too small. She basically restructured the dress and very quickly because I was time crunched. My sister in law, who knew what she had to do to the dress, commented several times on what a great job she did!! Saved my life!!

She messed up my wedding dress. I left her shop crying. She did not even offer me a discount. The way she altered my dress changed it completely it went from being a turtle neck/choker to the choker part being flat on my chest. The chocker/turtle neck part was my favorite part of my wedding dress and the reason I chose that particular dress. It’s still a beautiful dress but not what I wanted. I ended up paying the same price I did for the dress for alterations and did not approve of the alterations. With five days til my wedding when seeing the final alterations.
