It had been several years that I built a PC and i got the itch to do so due to a good deal I got on a Motherboard, CPU and Ram off eBay. I had an old case I was putting these components in and the case was missing 2 bay covers. Since this was an older case, I had decided to see if The Computer Company could assist. As I walked in, I saw a technician assisting a couple so I took some time to browse around. Glad to see so many older parts and multiple laptops and desktops on display. Once the technician was done assisting the couple, he asked how he could help and I explained my situation. Jeremy(the technician) was able to find an older case in the back and get me the parts I needed for my build!It was good to talk with Jeremy and reminded me of the days where I would frequent PC shops for parts. Dont go to Best Buy, as they rarely keep anything in stock these days. Give The Computer Company or JoplinTECH PC service a shot!!!

Jeremy at Joplin Computer Company is fantastic! He took the time to understand my pcs problems, explained his plan of action, and did excellent work at a reasonable price. I highly recommend.

Didnt shop here, but was on the phone with Jeremy who answered all my questions, joked around with me for a few minutes and left me knowing more about my system over a conversation. Definitely will come here in the future.

@TechHound LOL Jeremy at computer place (the owner and technician) was THE BEST I’ve ever experienced anywhere. His business conduct is like the old fashion way of doing things which means customer first mantality, completely affordable in fact for the 45 minutes I was there my pc was back up and running and he wasn’t even going to charge me even though he explained everything in great detail, was super personable and just pleasurable to talk to and converse with. This is not like the other reviews where I’m just giving a five star for something small. This guy is the best in Joplin period.

I’ve been custom building my PC for a little over a year, I’ve been to tech school for computer sciences, but that course was a little outdated, so pretty quickly I got over my head in how big of a build to go. This guy really knows what he’s doing, even when it comes to custom built $2000 machines. And didn’t try to overcharge me like other shops. The owner is such a nice and funny guy it was very easy to joke around with him. I will be bugging him for many years to come I think!

I enjoy having control over most aspects of my life. So I dread taking my computers in for repairs since, truth be told, I know little to nothing about them so I am at their mercy. They can tell me anything without challenge. So I wanted to take time to share how pleasant my experience was with The Computer Company. First and foremost, they fixed my hard drive as I waited, explaining everything as they did the repair. He also showed me (without being smug) what to look for if I ever had the same problem again. Now I thinking that service this good must come with a hefty price. But again I was wrong. My bill was not only reasonable, but about half what I was expecting to pay. So if you need a computer repaired, I would say to give these good people a shot since they deserve to flourish.

I went here looking for a cloverleaf power cord and some advice. Walked out with the power cord ($2) and advice on how to clean a PC with over 1000 viruses, plus shared stories. The customer service was excellent and the fact that they had been at this location for 13 years means Ive been going ti the wrong people for my computer. Very knowledgeable and very very cheap. New loyal customer obtained.

I bought a server today at he Computer Company. Unbelievable customer service and a great price...I never leave reviews but had to with how well I was treated here.

I bought a computer from them 2 years ago. Been a great computer until the harddrive started going bad. I went back to them yesterday wanting to buy another computer. Once I explained to them what my computer was doing he asked me to bring it to them to look at it. I explained that run a business off that computer and needed a working one asap.Anyway, long story short they fixed my computer for $45 and saved me hundreds and not having to buy another computer. Showed me they had my best interest in mind and not theirs. Gursnyeed customer here.

Would give zero stars if possible. Place is a joke. Everything is outdated. I used to shop here because they are the only place in joplin that had computer parts in store, but half the items i bought were defective. When id return them, theyd put them right back on the shelf! And yes, all their windows xp machines are not legal copies.
