McDonalds in Walmart makes me happy to get a diet coke. Been a long 24 hrs of traveling. Walmart items are normally prices. Hawaii still very concerned with covid and wearing masks unlike Indiana.

Yep, its a big Walmart on Maui. I know how we all feel about them, but it is convenient and helps moderate prices on the island. You may have noticed there are lots of souvenir shops scattered generously about on the island. You may have noticed most of the stuff looks alike. Well, Walmart has a big souvenir section with basically the same stuff, maybe cheaper.

Huge store, tons of people, we gift and grocery shopped then used Self checkout. Everyone was masked and when weade a mistake at checkout someone came and helped us right away.

Had a guy without a mask and he was just eating and coughing in the middle of the store dropping food and probably risking the customers health.. I felt like taking a bath in hand sanitizer and drinking it. Please have your employees look out for this. Thank you 🙏

Locals and tourists shop here so it gets crowded at times. Staff are helpful and usually guide to items you need. Know the value of your next best alternative or option. Theres a McDonalds and Hawaiian Federal credit union inside.

Often disorganized and limited selection for a Walmart. Always packed with customers, so shopping is quite chaotic. Aisles are far to close together for the volume of people in the space so cart/guest congestion is a major problemStaff at the entrances/exits are always friendly but some of the checkout associates can be a bit frantic/rude. Worth paying a bit more elsewhere for better selection and overall customer/shipping experience. Only go here if you have a small number of items and know exactly what you need so you can be in and out. Curbside pick-up is always an option and usually a pleasant experience.

This location was the best Ive ever been to. A lot more rare items to choose from, clean, organize & The staff was shockingly very helpful & nice. Unlike California & Las Vegas, NV. Im already telling people about this Walmart while vacationing here.

Shannon in the Automotive Dept shined in his customer service delivery.When I initially asked for an appointment, the system was down, he gave me a window when I can fall to make an appointment and that day was today. Went to buy water shoes and flip flops and was delighted to find a whole section full with many good values. They even had a simple $1 pair. Wow!

You can basically buy everything you need here from your everyday life, very great prices, and large parking space

A little pricey for my liking but overall that is a place to go to all your needs

You get all your essentials here. Stopped here to get hats, swimwear and sunscreen for our vacation in maui. This also has McDonalds inside.

Great garden. Clean. You should use the garden exit when leaving the parking lot. Its too hard to leave from the exit across from Home Depot.

I dont think its a super Walmart. No bags of any kind. I know in California they do this and I always forget when I go there; but they have bags for those who wants to pay for them. Not here. Where I live, we still have (free) bags.

As far as Walmarts go this one has a suprising lack of product availability. The staff is pretty good but one would expect there to be more solar powered phone chargers and better clothing. Very confusing for a retailer with the capabilities that they have.

Decent selection of last minute souvenirs. Was a bit surprised how pricey the Maui shirts were for being Wal-mart. We Haoles will buy anything.

This walmart is full of souvenirs but not food. If you are looking for produce or anything near heathly dont go to this walmart. Also do not expect friendly service or even nice customers. Everyone seems very unhappy here and it is over crowded. The island needs a second walmart location. Also, sadly homeless camp on property. Target is right down the road. It is cleaner, brighter, friendlier and less crowded. Slightly more expensive tho.

Its a wal-mart. Nothing too special. Its absolutely packed. Certainly understaffed as having too many (or an adequate amount) of employees clocked in would cut into profit margins. But hey, its a wal-mart. Need some last minute stuffs? They got it.

This place is huge. I spent way more time than I had originally estimated, but on the plus side we got something which we could not have found at a safeway or target.

Walmart is Walmart wherever you go. This one on Maui is pretty nice.

Slowest checkout I have ever experienced

Their auto department service is terrible. They don’t have any sense of customer service. They pick customers at random to get them in their system. On average we wait an hour just to get our car checked in. I don’t care how long the wait to get the change is, but please check people in quickly so they don’t have to wait just to get checked in.

Being from the mainland, I hope they will soon deliver or offer grocery pick up. Target delivers pantry items locally, but I would use Walmart if available.

Not a Supercenter store, but basically groceries and general merchandise. Very busy. Souvenirs available if desired.

Super small location compared to the main land. Some of the better prices on the island for gifts and general items. No plastic bags. You can buy fabric bags for 50 cents.

I needed a new cell phone. The one they advertised (the one I wanted) wasnt in stock. I needed a cellphone immediately. So I had to settle for a phone which was more expensive than the one I wanted.

Clean store, pretty friendly staff. It is a very useful tool to have on Maui.

Its a walmart in maui. Its got everything a standard walmart has and the prices are pretty similar to other states walmarts.

I know its not their fault but I just wanna buy some Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Im not even a scalper I just like the cards, but I can only buy one booster at a time. I guess the brightside is that I spend less money.

For a Walmart its about as good as can be, they have a wonderful selection for tourists while keeping what youd expect from a Walmart all at a great price

Like most Walmarts these days, shelves are usually half empty. The day I was there, they literally had no milk or coffee creamer. Ended up buying overpriced Lactaid milk.

One stop shopping, they even had a souvenir section.

Lines can get a bit large but best place to get souvenir in hawaii for s reasonable price... Walmart prices for same product

Get off the plane, hit Costco then Walmart! Once were settled in for our 5 month stay, we go once a week and add Target to our list of stops.Walmart is Walmart, but here on Maui, they sometimes struggle to keep the shelves stocked, so if you see what you want, dont wait to get it. Take your own bags, good idea to bring an insulated bag with ice packs if youre buying cold items.The store has a grungy feel to it, but the employees have always gone out of their way to be helpful, and Ive noticed, if I smile, Im treated with a return smile and friendly customer service. Attitude equals attitude!One more tip: dont hesitate to look for parking closer to the entrance, most of the time it looks like the lot is full, but weve always found nice spots in the shade, closer in!

What was meant to be a quick stop at the closest Walmart to be a cable ended up just frustrating me. Margie from the electronics department got snappy with us when we asked a simple question. Then we caught her doing it to another couple. I hope that she isnt indicative of how Walmarts in Maui train their employees to treat their customers. Its safe to say we didnt stick around to find out.

I always find what I need

Good stop on Maui for souvenirs Beach towels sunscreen and a few groceries. They are not a super Walmart but has frozen, canned and some fresh produce. Decent booze selection and sizes for a week on Maui.

Good grocery store. Not a full size super store but it has just about anything you need for groceries.

I shop there often for items there which I know are best deals. Walmart has proved greatly throughout the years... At least in Hawaii & I think that I heard that Mauis is the largest one!

I did not like it because when I went in I went to the toys and asked someone there there was so I asked to get something they said wait ang I was there for 2 hours so we left

Love shopping at Walmart because most of the items are cheaper then anywhere else.

Always crowded, restocking at all the wrong times, never a helpful employee around! And when you get an employee, they no nothing, about anything, or you cant understand one word they are saying, or the employee say they going another employee and that employee say they going get the supervisor, what the heck is that. And they took away the price match!!! If the prices wasnt cheap, I wouldnt shop here. I only put 5 stars because when they first opened Walmart was awesome, now Id give negative 2 stars.

This Walmart has discarded the use of plastic bags completely, and thats awesome.

I am an older white guy and they never check my bags on the way out while the local folks are getting scrutinized; even little old ladies! Lucky Im honest!

I typically dont shop at Walmart, but this location was clean, customer service friendly, nicely priced. I needed a bag for extra checked in luggage and luckily they had duffle bags.

Nothing to big to tell, although the employees are nice and helpful.

Nice assortment of food and household essentials, but was out of stock of several items I was looking for and never restocked within the 10 days I was there. I think thats pretty typical of all Walmarts, though.

If youre looking for a cheap place to get Chinese water shoes, this is the place. Dont go here for food, its not a mainland Walmart.
