Love that place. Nice and helpful people.
Bought two sandals. One pair ended up not working out. They refunded with no questions. Then he fit me in to some great walking shoes that are bomb. Great customer service and products.
Steve was very helpful and had good recommendations. He was very knowledgeable and explained things in understandable ways. He had this cool demonstration with the flip flops that sold us. Basically, he pressed down on my wifes hands while she was holding them together with her palms up. He defeated her grip easily. Then he had her put a particular pair of flip flops and he was unable to break her grip, even when he applied a lot of force. Shoes can make you stronger! He demonstrated that.
Go to place for quality hiking boots, hiking sandals, all types of casual footwear. Half sizes available. Owners are friendly and helpful without being pushy. If you need quality island shoes, its the best place to start.
Love their shoes! Got our running Hoka. Way cheaper than in Amazon. The guy said theres no Hoka store in Amazon maybe thats only a third party thats why its expensive
The owner was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The selection is enormous and he was willing to custom order what I needed. I highly recommend Island Feet if your feet hurt and you want some relief.
My feet are so happy that they can walk without pain anymore! Great selection and delightful service too!
We bought 2 slippers and we are happy 😊 about our purchases.
We are so happy to have discovered Island Feet! For a great selection of outdoor, activewear shoes on Maui look no further. They introduced us to the Hoka brand which they carry among other top brands — we love our Hoka hiking shoes. They also carry socks called Feetures...some of the best socks we have ever found. All done with knowledgeable and friendly service! Please skip online ordering when looking for your best pair of hiking shoes, work shoes, sneakers, slippers or sandals and patronize a local Maui business !
Found some awesome hiking boots!! Friendly and helpful staff. Large variety and selection.
The people are super nice and helpful and the shoes are made to last.
Great guy good customer service we bought a few pair of shoes before the scamdemic.
These guys are awesome.Flat footed here... Tried a couple different arch supports that werent working, this has happened before.I went back, and they gave me no issue switching out for something else. Still wasnt working (flat feet suck).Again I went back, they gave me no issue exchanging. This time I tried VIBRAMS for flat feet, going a completely different route.I was researching and flat feet could benefit from walking barefoot. So now I use them for work and everything. When I my feet get tired, I just switch to regular shoes.Dont underestimate the power of exercising your flat feet :)Thanks guys, seriously!
Awesome help with awesome stuff
Only place on this Island to buy shoes. Super helpful and friendly staff. So glad to be able to get new sneakers after the Covid 19 stay home decree.
The Best foot store on Maui . . Very caring and professional.... a place you can trust to give you the best for your feet !
I googled Plantar fasciitis, Maui when we planned our trip, because walking on sand is one of the worst things to do with plantar fasciitis. The second day there, we went to Island Feet and within 20 minutes I was finally pain free. I purchased Oofos sandals, inserts for my work shoes and anther pair of inserts for dress heels. It was the best investment I’ve made for good posture and pain free walking!
Rude, terrible service & horrible selection.
We were looking for Hoka one to one runners as our Surgeon in Australia recommend them for our need, we had time to spared on our cruise, and googled for the shoes and found Island feet, got a short taxi to the shop. and was amazed with the understanding of our needs, we bought the shoes and sandals and were so pleased to be able to buy them from a shop front, Thank you Steve. Faye & David from Australia.
I came to this store a year or two ago when it was new. The owner was nice at the time, So I decided that I needed a new pair of slippers. so I googled island feet to get their hours of operation and at that moment I saw some reviews that wer not so great. So anyway I just wanted to share my latest experience . Well after reading the reviews I decided to go in and observe the customer service and the store itself. boy did the service change. The owner not so friendly as before, not much selection. And when I asked if they had a better style I kinda got a sarcastic remark from him. I didnt make a big deal about it but I just kept it inside and bought what I needed at the time and left. So for me I will just research and shop online.
I recommend this place to everyone that has issues with their feet. Plantar Fasciitis is what I have in my right feet and was given options an at the end bought insoles that are LIFE TIME if anything happens to it just go right in and they will replace it at no charge.Thank you Island Feet - Now I have Happy Feet 😀
My husband I flew in from a 13 hour flight, went to change into warm clothes and he realized he didnt pack his sandals (Boots dont really work in Hawaii). As we were googling for shoe places near the airport, I drove past this small store, and decided to pull-in despite seeing it didnt have the highest reviews. I asked my husband to be quick since we had kids in the car and wanted to get to Lahaina before dark. QUICK is an understatement! He was back in under 10 - minutes & raving about the service inside. He had walked in, told the owner or employee he really loved keens and wanted to stick with that brand. The owner glanced at him, said Ill be right back, and came back with two sizes in 3 popular styles, and they were a perfect fit. So fast! and great customer service. We would go back again in a heartbeat. Thanks to the owner for making that extra stop quick and painless. If you find yourself getting of the plane in Hawaii & realize you forgot your sandals... this is the place to go! Very close to the airport.
About a year ago me and my wife went to this store on a weekend for the first time to see what sort of shoes they have to offer due to hearing their commercial so often. Once we entered the store, immediately his wife took the sales pitch on my wife and then the owner came out from behind the counter and started to talk to me and ask what I was looking for? I mentioned about the pain I had under my feet for a while and needed to get rid of my pain. He then asked me to get an imprint of my steps, then suggested these soles for $150. I was desperate and decided to buy the soles as they may help my pain. He sold me the soles and then also charged me $25 on top of that for the feet imprint. I felt ripped off and just thought wow the shoe salesman just sold me a pair of soles and added the imprint for another $25 forcefully. I still have those sole and stop using after a week due to increase of pain when I started using the soles. Although, and above the expensive sole purpose, me and wife purchased pairs of sandles, each about $45 a piece, I felt it was my own fault allowing this to happen and to shop at this store. We will never go in there again nor recommend this place to anyone. You can go online and buy the sandles they sell for the fractions of the costs. Dont ever do the imprint of your feet or steps as need to be aware that you will be charged for it. Island feet store are not so island comfortable.
Had plantar fasciitis for years, then I found these guys and my feet have never felt better. Store is cluttered and prices are up there, but comfort aint cheap and the clutter means they have a large selection. Staff was incredibly helpful every time I go in. They give you their attention so if they are helping someone else it may take a little bit for your turn, but they got a nice couch ;) Thanks Island feet!
Great selection, and these folks know their stuff when it comes to running mechanics & leisure pursuits. Top brands like Teva, Vibram, Oofos, more. Recommend you try them.
A gem of a shop. Sandals, or rubber slippah, this the place.
Came in to replace my sandals. First thing I got bombarded by 1950s used car salesman tactics. The lady would not stop recommending some sandals with arch supports that I really didnt need. I told her, Im looking for sandals that will last me a long time. Do you have anything like that? She points to some sandals and says, Oh these ones here are build for outdoors and should last over a year, if not two. So I got them. Fast forward to today, about 4-5 months later, Im out hiking about 3 miles from any road, and BAM my sandal breaks. Totally unusable. $75 for some sandals that only lasted 4 months. MY $5 LOCALS LAST THAT LONG. I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT LOCALS OR ORDERED SHOES ONLINE IF THIS WOMAN HADNT LIED TO ME JUST TO MAKE A BUCK! Good job capitalism youve won. Youve now scored way more money out of me than I wanted to deliver. Anyway this place sucks, I wont be going back, I wouldnt recommend to anyone.
Bought my husband some Teva slippahs 7 months ago. He wears them every day. A month ago one came apart on the bottom. Took it into their store and they gave him a brand new replacement one. Now thats customer service. Great arch support and helps my husbands back.
I went in to Island Feet to look for some better slippers to help my Plantarfacitus which I have had for8 YEARS.The sales staff showed me two types, one was Vionic, which are more of a normal day to day slipper. And the other was a Oofu slipper which is SUPER MARSHMALLOW like, and is the one I use constantly.I was using the Vionic for day to day and the Oofu for walking in the house. When I step out of bed, I step directly into the Oofu, and only take them off when in the shower or at the sand..Ive tried the insets, podiatrist, and stretching. Now my foot my foot has stopped hurting. I cant believe it. Im kinda scared to take them off now.JUST AWESOME!
Ive been hearing the jingle on the radio for awhile and decided to stop in. Im a waitress and very active. I thought I was wearing good shoes before. I thought my ankle pain was part of aging. The staff at island feet told me about Hokas. They are expensive and look a little different. I did my research and decided they were worth a try. I.F has a good variety of Hokas so I was able to try the different styles. These shoes were an amazing investment and I have no more ankle pain, the price was the same as the Hoka website which I was very surprised about, I usually expect to pay more to avoid shipping. Now Im saving for the oofo slippers - my feet are very happy!!
My wife and I were vacationing on Maui in January 2015. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and I was in a considerable amount of pain at the time. So when we heard a radio commercial for Island Feet, we stopped in their store. Immediately I knew I was in the right place. After asking me a few simple questions and examining my feet, Ty and his dad Steve knew exactly what I needed. I purchased two pair of Oofo sandals that I didnt take off my whole time in Maui. We hiked and walked for miles and they were perfect. My feet were pain free after a day or two. The reason I didnt not purchase the orthotics that they recommended is because I just ordered a pair from my foot Dr at home. Well they did absolutely nothing. I called Ty and he sent me a very simple foot imprint kit that I mailed back. In a week I had a pair of orthotics and they are perfect! Their price is VERY reasonable. I highly recommend Ty and Steve for their expertise and unmatched customer service! Being pain free from foot pain is priceless :) Thank you Ty and Steve
My boyfriend and I both got Hokus. Mine the mesh his the leather. Mine are for PF his for walking on job all day. Mine are a dream! His has an imperfection in the inside sole. I called today and sight unseen the salesman said bring them in we can replace them! Now that’s customer service!! Now to get the rest of the family in them!
