Tons of flavors & customization options, which the staff was helpful in navigating. Favorite flavor was the coffee natural flavor, though the cherry flavor did try to overtake it. Adzuki bean addition was also quite nice. A delicious, refreshing treat.

We have had shave ice multiple places all over the island including all the famous places. This is still the best. The natural flavors are incredible! I could have this three times a day and wish I could ship the flavors to the mainland some how.

Cool atmosphere in the store and good shaved ice. They all come with ice cream in the bottom and they also offer all natural flavors in addition to the regular flavors. Great cold treat on a hot day, especially after the beach. Better than motsumoto shaved ice IMO

Great place to get shaved ice at and offers both delicious all natural flavors and regular flavors. All natural flavors is a slight upcharge though but its worth it. Also be prepared for a wait, its quite popular.

Delicious. I got the normal with ice cream and regular flavors. Would like to try the natural flavors next time, but really wanted coconut and that wasnt available. Also the snowcap is not chocolate snowcaps, but sweetened condensed milk. Delicious, but definitely wanted those little yummy chocolate bits!

Really good shave ice and they put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the bottom - which I was surprised how much I liked. I opted for the natural flavors in my ice for $1 more and it was well worth it. Highly recommend Island Snow Hawaii after (or in the middle of) a beach day at Kailua or Lanikai. Just be ready for long lines at this location - you wont be the only one with the idea to cool down here :)

Literally some of the finest shave ice on the island. They have a wide selection of natural flavors and plenty of add-ons to make everyone happy. Each shave ice also comes with a scoop of Daves Ice Cream too! Its a tight fit when theres a line, but they have three machines and a friendly, fast staff to help keep things moving. Definitely worth a visit after a hike to the pillboxes. 🤙

My favorite shave ice on Oahu so far. Second favorite to Ululani’s on Maui. The ice is still soft and fluffy even if packed down and the special flavors are delish. Had the li hing strawberry and mango. I recommend it with the macadamia nut ice cream. Keiki size is enough for one adult.

Obamas favorite shave ice place apparently? Dont get me wrong its pretty good, but nothing on mountain magic shaved ice!! They have good flavors here and adding ice cream is free (I dont prefer the ice cream though), but the shave ice consistentcy is not the same as mountain magic which is hands down the best on the island. Island Snow is also a clothing shop?? Some cute clothes but all of them are overpriced so just stick to the shave ice if you cant make it to mountain magic in Pearl City or Waianae.

It was around 3:00 pm and the line was almost out of the door! I got what was advertised on the sign (in the picture) which was their Employee Favorite in a large size with the Nisshodo mochi squares. I got the mango, lychee, and strawberry flavors. just a side note though: those three flavors are considered their natural flavors so it costs $1.00 more. but it was worth it!!! DELICIOUS. I could even see the lychee fibers and strawberry seeds. the mochi was soft (also $1.00 extra), even though it was at the bottom, between the ice cream and the shave ice. everything about the shave ice tasted soooo goooooood. my order was just under $7.00. not bad.btw, I took the picture after a couple of bites so its actually bigger than that lol.and dont forget to get a punch card, if you dont already have one.

The location is so perfect for this shaved ice spot as it’s just a couple minutes from the beach. Make sure you get the free ice cream, as the prices are pretty hefty for you not to get it. Unfortunately, the line up can be a hassle as sometimes the lineup goes out the door, and they only have one ice machine running. Overall love this place and its vibe.

I honestly never thought iced ice could be this good and I never thought there was a difference between shaved iced and snow cone but this place will prove it. They have ice cream on the bottom snow caps cream on top and real fresh fruit flavors not that fake corn syrup stuff. Great location right next to the beach and next to a good pizza place.

We stayed nearby during our trip and I think I stopped here like three times. It was delicious. Theyre very flexible as to what combinations of flavors you want and the service is friendly.

So many places say they serve shave ice... But actually serve snow cones. This place is the real deal, though. Fluffy ice and tasty flavors... It is totally worth upgrading to the natural flavoring syrups as well. The lines can get long, but it is all part of the experience. Makes new friend while you wait and then get ready for chilled taste nirvana when your shave ice is ready.

Great shave ice that is truly local, served with sweet sauce and a scoop of vanilla. Close to the beach and the stamp of presidential approval make this a great place! Service was a little slow and confusing as you payed while in line before the register, they need a lil work on logistics.

Get the free ice cream. Without it, getting ripped off. Other places cost extra for ice cream and without it, the price is cheaper than here. The wait is usually almost out the door during the afternoon. Its better to go to the other Island Snow location at 600 Kailua Road at the Kailua Shopping Center as its not as busy. Overall the shaved ice is good and really refreshing, but they take their time when making it which causes them to fall behind a bit. Flavors are good and are evenly distributed.

Conveniently close to Kailua beach and offers a wide variety of flavors and includes vanilla ice cream at the bottom. The cream at the bottom of a nice creamy touch after the sweet flavours on top. You can expect the ice to be consistently soft and not chunky. I wish the line would be faster since this place gets busy. Oh and if you care, Obama likes this place too.

Our line moved very quick and the employees were nice. I did the natural flavors which are light in color and big in flavor. I enjoyed them. I recommend the lemon peel flavor if youre going to do a condensed milk snow cap. I love the red bean option. The sweet red bean paired well with the macadamia nut ice cream at the bottom. A local sent us here over Matsumotos and we were not disappointed.

Best shaved ice on Oahu... You could go to North Shore but you wouldnt get the best on the island. Way more flavorful add the ice cream and snow cap and you get pure awesomeness! When you get there it may look like a clothing shop... It is--- but the specialty and main reason for being there is the Shaved Ice!
