I purchased an Outback over the summer of 2021 from Maple Hill Subaru, and worked with James DeYoung as my salesperson. I appreciated his patience with me, as well as his recommendations throughout the car buying process.Comparatively speaking, I had a much better experience with Maple Hill than I have had with other dealerships in the past. Its a clean, beautiful building, and, in my experiences, the staff was all friendly and accommodating.James himself was not high-pressure, but he was knowledgeable and helpful. I have reached out to him for help on two occasions since buying the car, and he has gone above and beyond his job responsibilities in sales to be of assistance to me.

Maple Hill Subaru is awesome! I have been in for a recall on my 2018 Forester and now we have an Ascent so we we have visited recently a few times. The people are all very kind, scheduling hasnt been an issue. I am a SAHM, and I needed to bring my toddler with me, there was a place to play and complimentary snacks. The staff working the desk in the service department even played with the garage doors to entertain my son. Overall, 10/10 recommend!

I would recommend taking your car anywhere but here to be serviced. Not only is there almost no communication from the service department to you but if you do call there’s a high probability you won’t get to speak to the person that you need to. And if they tell you they’ll have that person call you back, don’t hold your breath because 5 out of 5 times I didn’t get a call back. My car has been on their lot for 4 weeks now being “worked” on for 3 weeks and hardly any progress has been made.Even crazier to me is the fact that the service director had to get involved to supposedly “help” make my experience better and all it’s done is make it worse. An alternate Subaru dealer on the east side of the state who I have a relationship with tried to help get some answers and move things along and the service director has avoided multiple of my calls and multiple of there’s. The only time I can get any information is Monday mornings and all I get is that almost no work has happened since the week before.I have passed my concerns along to the Subaru Regional Manager (also a family friend) to hopefully improve other people’s experiences but if I were you I would stay as far away from Maple Hill Subaru as possible.Update: I’m giving 3 stars instead of my original 1 because once the service director did get involved my entire experience improved. While it was 3 weeks of struggle I understand that with the way the world is at this moment that a short staffed business can struggle to be their best self. I appreciate their effort to improve my experience!

I had a tremendously good experience purchasing our Subaru Forester. Working with Jacob Prieto was a pleasure. He was calm and not pushy. He didnt shame me or play on my emotions or ego to try and sell me a vehicle. He answered questions honestly, looked up info when he did not know it off-hand, and let us experience the vehicle in our own time and pace. So far we have had no problems working with Maple Hill Auto Group

After having to initiate almost all contact with sales, and never receiving a phone call back from finance, I decided to drive out of my way and purchase our vehicle from Fox Subaru. It was a night and day difference between the quality of the 2 dealerships. I felt like I had to beg Maple Hill to sell me a vehicle. Fox made me feel like I was appreciated from first contact. Even though Fox is 40 miles from our home, I will do all my service and maintenance with them. I only want to deal with places that value my business.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable sales team. No pressure, not rude or arrogant like some other dealerships Ive dealt with. He didnt try to talk me into adding anything or getting anything I didnt want or come looking for. Straight and simple, Matt was his name, excellent salesman. Friendly and professional.

I have a new 2021 Outback XT, with 4300 miles. I got in today and started it. I immediately had a check engine and several other errors. Oh jeez? Luckily I was at a hotel two blocks away, I drove directly there and asked for a service rep. They had none as it was lunch time, but said I could. Drop it in an hour, or now and they’d give me a ride to my hotel. I pulled in to the garage and gave them my key. The rep opened the door looked at the indicators, walked around to the gas tank fill cover, opened it to find the gas cap off.😳, my Brother-in-law had last filled it, and must not have secured it. They had me wait for a system reset, and I was on the road. Whew, crisis averted. Thank you Maple Hill Subaru! Five stars for having the right service rep, with patience and knowledge to find the issue it when all the techs were at lunch. 😀

Tried to take our car in for service for the first time here. My spouse made the appointment online with a detailed description of the issues and that we needed a loaner vehicle. When I pulled in to drop off the car, I was told that they didnt have contact information for us (aside from email and the phone number used to remind us of the appointment?), so they couldnt follow up before I got there. A loaner vehicle was going to be $35/day, and that their diagnostic services were well over $100/hr. Contrast that from 2 years ago in Washington, the dealership out there gave us a loaner for over a month while they tried to figure out why the check engine light was on. No charge for the loaner, or the diagnostics. Just the time and parts of the repair. I left and will never go back.

I went for service for the first time at Maple Hill yesterday, and was very disappointed in the lack of care for clients by Subaru sales staff, who were mostly unmasked. The only time I saw a mask near any sales staff member was when they saw a client come to them, otherwise there were no face coverings. Even the sales manager didnt wear a mask when talking directly with a client. There are signs on the doors that face coverings are required when entering the building, but apparently not for everyone. All the workers I interacted with and I could see in the service department were masked though, so that star is for them. If you care about your safety regarding COVID and are looking to buy a vehicle, I highly suggest not going to Maple Hill Subaru.

Theyll treat you decent until they have your signature then they pretend you dont exist. I have a car fully paid for, just waiting for the check to clear and its day 5. I was notified that the salesman in charge of my paperwork is on vacation for the entire week 3 days after my purchase. Naturally he didnt mention anything of the sort the day I was there. Ive called them countless times and have been given multiples excuses (half are lies Im sure) and been told to wait for a call in 15 mins many many times but, of course, the call never arrives. My emails are largely ignored (I mean the guys on vacation so I guess I can understand that). Im pretty much finished with all the civil routes; the only thing I can do is go down there in person and throw a hissy fit (which I absolutely hate to do). The only one there you can rely on to help you is the receptionist.

I wish I would have looked at the reviews before bringing my car here. They are extremely telling. My experience was unprofessional and nobody could explain what was going on with my vehicle. They even forgot to hook up a sensor so my car literally died in the middle of me driving it. Kade was the only helpful person, and the only one who apologized for all the inconvenience. There is a lot more I could say but Ill leave it at this: do not bring your vehicle here unless you have a warranty and absolutely must. Not worth the frustration and $$

Stay away! We have had to deal with this dealership a few times over the years and this last interaction is the worst yet. My transmission went out and we had it replaced by our mechanic. It was throwing a code of either needing a reprogramming or it needed a new main computer. Call Maple Hill and they can get it in in 2 weeks, fine nothing we can do. They did say if able to get it in sooner they would. Last Thursday they call and tell us the car is ready and they did the air bag recall as well. Great! We go to pick it up, after hours because husband works late. He pulls it out of the parking lot and all the dash lights come on!! We turn around and leave the car with the sales guy and all of our information.They call my husband the next day and tell him that it was working and that they will have to do another diagnostic?! Well either you fixed my car or you didnt?! On Tuesday of the next week they call to tell us that the car needs an $800 wiring harness for the transmission but they are not sure that it will fix the problem. Yeah no not gonna nickle and dime me at $800 a pop! Our mechanic picks it up and starts investigating, after a week of trying to figure out what is going on they found a faulty plug that the dealership had screwed up and they found 2 cleanly cut wires wrapped in fresh electrical tape. These rats cut the wires on my wiring harness!!! Someone did this after the first time they said it was fixed and when we went to pick it up! Stay as far away from these people as possible! I will be selling my Subaru and going back to Toyota, just so I dont have to ever deal with this dealership again. This is the third time we have had to deal with them and the other 2 experiences were awful as well.

I bought a wrx back in march, 2018, Red, Premium. Great car. Purchase went flawlessly, Their parts department has been nothing but awesome. I typically do my own service but even their service department helped me out when I swapped the battery as it was 3 years old and found my auto switches stopped working. They taught me the Easy way to Relearn the switches and it worked great! Free carwashes, what is not to love? Tim born was a awesome salesman and helped me through my purchase.

Service department is professional and a pleasure to interact with. Ive only had my oil changed here, but the process has been easy and pleasant due primarily to the employees efficiency and attitudes. I have not gotten repairs here so I cant speak to that.

Ive had great experiences here and poor experiences they have ranged from 5/5 while working with sales staff and 1/5 when having my vehicle serviced. My positive experiences have outweighed the negative ones. The best experience I have had was when I came for service and my child threw up in the car. The service staff helped to clean it up before servicing the vehicle. We continue to buy cars here and use them for oil changes

The service manager here is dishonest and approves shoddy work. He will tell you anything you want to hear to get you out the door and then leave you out to dry while your complaints and issues go ignored. I will never bring my car back here again.

My wife stopped bringing her car here when she received plain awful and unhelpful service repeatedly. After I brought it back for a warranty repair, service department left our car in a flooded part of their lot, took pictures of the car underwater, and then returned the car to us without mentioning a thing. Had the cars floor pan not still been full of water and sloshing around, I may not have found out until too late. Add to that a seazy used car manager and just plain awful service, avoid this dealership at all costs.

If you plan on taking your car back to this dealership for any warranty or maintenance issues over the years after your purchase, they will make it a hassle for you in a degrading way. If you try to call, be prepared to be transferred multiple times or hung up on.

Unfortunately the management of this dealership can not admit when they have done wrong and make it right to the customer.I traveled from out of state to purchase a car that I had ordered. Was told in advance what documents I would need that turned out to be incorrect. So on delivery day it couldnt be financed (0%) without a return trip home (1,300 miles).Since a return trip home would cost me $1,000 and not having the 0% financing even more, I offered a compromise cash payment of $1,000 below the original price that the manager refused. I left without the car and without my down payment.It’s a matter of principle to me and that’s why I walked away from this dealership. Maple Hill Subaru has cost me $1,000 for the down payment and $1,000 for the trip to see them. Manager said he could not take a $500 loss on the car but I guess it’s ok for his customer to take a $2,000 loss on their misinformation. I know one thing for sure I WILL NEVER USE MAPLE HILL SUBARU again and you should consider that also.The next day I had a new Subaru in my driveway from another dealer. Shop around people there are more knowledgeable dealerships out there.Update 6/25/2020. My New Outback and my VW are ready for an oil change, they will be taken to a different dealership. The Maple Hill stealership is a ripoff. FYI 47 miles north at Subaru dealership oil change on my Outback in 20 minutes with no appointment.I see there ad “A Journey Like No Other”. That’s absolutely correct! I journeyed 1,300 mile to get an ordered car and went home with nothing.Update 3/13/2021. 2020 outback has a recall. Since they screwed me out of $1k it will be going 60 miles north for the fix. I like driving it anyway.3/23/2021. After 11 months of hearing nothing from Maple Hill they wanted to “make amends”. I did in fact get the rest of my deposit back. Will I ever go back? That bridge was burned 11 months ago by the sales manager and they will have to start building a new one.
