My husband I decided that it was time for a new car. We were told by a friend to check out Forbes Motors. I Called and spoke with Jimmy and he was an absolute pleasure. Very helpful, informative and accommodating. The process was very smooth and easy. We love their hospitality and the mechanic was hilarious. We would definitely highly recommend them as they work with you no matter credit score. We will be back for our second vehicle.

I havent bought a car from them, but if youre looking for a great and friendly place to buy from then I would definitely recommend you go here. I had a flat tire and left my car in their lot for the night. They have been completely generous with giving me time to take care of it, one of the gentleman that works there even tried to find a tire for me while I was also looking my self. Once I found it he helped put it back on for me. By no means am I incapable of doing it myself, but the fact that he stepped outside of his job role and showed me the compassion to offer a helping hand blew my mind. I will keep them in mind when its time for a new vehicle!

My boyfriend and I went here to look at one vehicle and we test drove it. It wasnt what we were looking for. Had major issues. When we got there there was a sales person available right away to help us and was readily available if we had any questions. When we returned from the test drive with the first vehicle we told him of the issues we found and they immediately took it off of their site for sale. It was a safety issue.Second vehicle we test drove, we loved it. It was more expensive but they worked with us on price and we got it lowered to our price range. We bought the car and are extremely happy with it! The sales person was extremely friendly and talked to us like we were normal people. Not lower then him. Definitely recommend these guys if your looking for a quality used vehicle.

Great experience, very friendly and helpful people. The car matched the description given on the website, and they were upfront with an issue with the battery when we came to look at it. They went out of their way to have the battery replaced and ready to go by the time the paperwork was done. They even gave very helpful advice while we added the car to our insurance! Highly recommended for good and affordable used cars.

Ive had my vehicle for less then a year and spent the same amount in repairs as I paid to purchase it. Less than 2 weeks after I purchased, the alternator went out. Then, the engine light came on a few days later. They literally buy cars without checking them at all. Please do not waste your money, and purchase a used car from a B lot instead of from here. Now I am in the process of purchasing a 2020 vehicle- my best advice is to save up for a newer car, or go somewhere reputable. They are not even BBB accredited.

I set up an appointment with the owner 24 hours in advance to be able to test drive a vehicle. I sent a message before I left home to let him know I was on my way and I would be on time for the appointment. Drove 30 miles to get to the car lot only to find out that the vehicle was not even on the lot. An Employee had taken it for the day for his demo vehicle and would not be returning until the following day. Very poor communication here. Very poor way to run a business. If they can’t communicate in order to take a test drive what type of communication are you gonna get on the vehicle that you want..

Edit for details:I saw a listing for a vehicle they were selling on the Facebook marketplace. The vehicle in the listing had a nice looking exterior, and the interior looked pristine. I scheduled an appointment to check it out, and as I walked into their small, cramped office, I noticed that nobody was wearing a mask. Keep in mind this office was no bigger than a typical home garage. They pulled the vehicle up for me to test drive, and it looked like a completely different vehicle. The rear driver side window was busted open in a grand theft auto, the check engine light was on, the brakes were very squishy, and the interior wasnt in near the same condition. All of this information was conveniently left out of the initial listing. When I pointed these things out after my test drive, the first question out of the sales reps mouth was What form of payment are we going with today?. I wish I was kidding.

Forbes Motors sold me a car that has a broken leaf spring, sticky breaks, a leaking gas line, and warped bald tires. All found after five minutes at the mechanic looking underneath the car.. As it is now, the car is unsafe to drive but they sold it to me for full market value. When i test drove it, the car seemed fine. I knew the tires were a little worn and might need replaced. That was fine... I took the mechanic and 5 minutes to find these things wrong with the car. It would seem like all Forbes Motors cares about is getting their money. They advertised the car all over social media but didnt take the time to see if it was safe to drive! Me or one of my friends could have been hurt in the USELESS JUNK you sold to me! I sincerely hope someone at Forbes reads this and even more i hope they lose business when people read this review. Mere words cannot expound upon how angry and disappointed i am. Sold as is so they are covered legally. You can keep exploiting the legal loopholes Forbes but word gets around!

I needed a reliable car, which was expressed to the owner as soon as I walked through the door of this dealership. Not only were my expectations not met, when I attempted to express my concerns to the owner and his wife, I got unanswered phone calls. If I ever did get a hold of someone, they kept telling me to call the warranty company (which is also a joke by the way. They only cover $1000 of damages, with a $100 deductible). They never took responsibility for what was wrong with the car, PRIOR to me buying it. The owner/dealer, told me that he had the car checked out by a certified dealer, who ended up being the owners friend who works with cars but isnt actually a certified mechanic. Obviously, things can happen to cars, and it can happen at the fault of no one, but these problems could have been avoided if the owner actually had the car looked at like he said he did, OR was just honest and up front, and sold me the car at the price that it was worth. I was without a vehicle for 2 months after buying a car from these people. I had it for 2 full days after buying it, before it ended up in the shop. As a single parent with a full-time job, this was very inconvenient, and I received no sympathy or reassurance from them. I wouldnt send my worst enemy to this dealership. The ONLY thing they are good at is sweet talking people into buying lemons.Jimmy Muiruri was the person that sold me the car. Any reviews from him are biased, false and irrelevant.

This place is a joke i had to fix my car the next day after buying it put another 900 into it then 3 months later put another 400. And now im putting another 2500 havent drove it for months cuz its been broke down ever since..iam not rich i spent all i had to get me a car and now iam in the same situation cuz of them i will never ever go to them again...if u want a nice car that will work walk away and turn around and go somehwere else cuz this is not the place.....THEY ONLY SELL LEMONS

My niece, who has little money, bought a car from them that had many issues they had to know about. DO Not buy from them. She only had the vehicle a week and everything went to hell. Forbes pretty much said too bad, you should have paidvfircextended watranty. She has to spend another 700 to make it driveable and was told the engine is in bad shape. Crooks! Ok Ill get right to the point they seem friendly at first make you different kinds of offers then if you dont go the route they prefer the whole thing changes with them why tell people theres different options IF YOU DONT WANT TO DO THEM LOL they tell you they have something that will work for you then all of a sudden within hours its gone huh they seem like they want to help in the beginning but that all changes unless you buy something with cash GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU WANT A GOOD CAR AND HONEST PEOPLE in my opinion there are MUCH better places to go you have been warned lol.

My sister has been looking for a G6 for a while and this place made it possible for her to get the car she wanted and we will be able to fix the couple minor things it has goin on with it. This place is awful. Found them on the Facebook marketplace, claimed that the car was in great condition and that there was nothing wrong with it. Had it for about 2 weeks now and we’ve had a bunch of trouble with it. Oil leak, power steering leak (claimed to have replaced the power steering pump, but didn’t degrease the engine), had to replace the serpentine belt on it due to the excessive fluids, rotors are bad, tie rods need replaced, brakes grinds and squeaks, heat takes about an hour to kick on, temp gauge is broken, and the antenna has been broken off. Seemed like a nice car when we took it for a test drive around the block. I complained to the person who sold me the car, and he blatantly ignored me. Customer service is horrible, and their cars are not trustworthy, nor are the sellers

They are nice selling you a car and then they dont want to answer there phone if you notice something with the car dont seem right they send you to someone they are buddies with just to tell you nothing is wrong just to find out from 3 other mechanics there is a lot wrong after you sign papers they act like they dont even know you. Very rude took about 2 weeks for my title I repeat do not go here!!! I only gave 1 star because im suprised they are still open!!!!!
