We used Southwest MI for new quartz counters for a second time after we bought a new home. There was no thought of using another company. They have the best prices around, their service is awesome and their quartz counters look beautiful. For this time, Jeremiah and Chas did our installation and it turned out great. We have a very unique layout to our kitchen which led to a challenging install but they made it look easy. 100% would recommend them to anyone.

I found my quartz here and ordered. So many choices. Install day came and Chaz and Jeremiah were my installers. I have to say these two guys do it all and nothing (my dogs) or any thing else seemed to phase them. They were so professional and upbeat I could tell they love their jobs. I highly recommend this company and it was a pleasure seeing the kitchen design come together so smoothly.

Our Lyra Quartz countertop is beautiful. The installers were great, friendly and quick. They shared tips and tricks, and even returned the same day to fix a minor problem. It would have been five stars but there was a sincere communication issue. Multiple times we were told someone would call us by a particular day and they didnt. We had to call multiple times to get a return call. Overall the process took a bit longer than they said, but the ease and speed of the day of install really helped.

Just had our quartz counter top installed by Chaz and Jeremiah. These two did an outstanding job! They had to tear out the old counter top which was not easy and the sink didnt fit. You could not tell they were having problems by their attitudes and smiles. The workmanship was superior. We have one seam but it is hard to find. It transforms our kitchen!

Chaz and Jeremiah did a fantastic job on my granite countertop at my house on East Main! The seams are perfect and you can’t see the seam unless you know they are there and the light is just perfect. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend!!!!

Had countertops put in love our choice. Called the office my backslash is supposed to be 3 its 2 1/2 up to three so corners dont match. Seam in corner you could cut your finger on if you are wiping it down. They came twice and virtually did nothing to remedy the situation. Then stopped returning my calls.

Southwest Michigan Granite did an excellent job from start to finish. They came out and professionally measured my kitchen. I was able to contact them with any questions and concerns after they measured for re-assurance and piece of mind. The install guys were top notch, very friendly and had a professional attitude. They offered me suggestions, tips and answered questions I had regarding my backsplash which I put up myself after the counters were installed. Tyler, and the rest of the crew did a great job!! I highly recommend this company for granite and quartz!!

Super easy process, fast turn around time. Jeremy and team did a great job installing and clean up. My new office looks beautiful!!! Lost one star because 1 of the 3 grommets in the granite is too small and didnt fit the 1.48 inserts I ordered. Luckily I upped the size of the grommet to 1.5 in the granite and am able to order a smaller grommet cover, hopefully that will work. I should have had my grommets here when they installed. But overall great experience!

PLEASE SEE UPDATE.I wasnt thrilled with this company. I felt rushed from the get go. Also, I had NO CLUE what I was doing (still dont) when it comes to picking out counter top. I decided to go with quartz because I found the right shade/slab or whatever you want to call it. I was never asked or explained the edge types. I.e. what was in style, what works well in a particular room, etc. OK. I can live with the standard edge. No big deal after I lived with it for a few days. What irritated me is when the template was being measured, we were having a new peninsula (knocked a wall out for this) as well. This peninsula was put in with two sharp pointy corners. We were NEVER offered to have them rounded off, or cut at an angle, nothing. Unfortunately, I personally was unable to be at install (my husband was) so stopping the process before silicone was improbable. We stopped by the showroom and asked if there was anything that could be done (a long shot, I know) and Cheryl said she would talk it over and email or call us with what she found out. But she didnt.The one star is simply for the guys who installed it. According to my husband, they were really nice and careful as we JUST had our wood floors refinished.If you go with this company, you will have to know 100% what you are doing because they do not give any type of guidance AT ALL.UPDATE:Now I’m impressed!Tyler reached out to me as soon as this review was posted. Most companies would elude the issue and simply move on. He was very sincere and apologetic about the miscommunication for the issues we had with our countertops. He came out personally and softened the corners perfectly! They look 100% better and it was super easy.

Buyer be-ware!They tried to charge more then agreed quote upon installation, didn’t bring the excess quartz like they said they would since that is part of what you pay for and our quartz had a chip in it. No return phone calls from them or accountability.Tyler(part owner) didn’t like my Google review so he called me just to scream at me and he wouldn’t take responsibility for anything they did.Don’t take the chance on this business. They don’t care about their customers nor will they make it right.

Cheryl from the showroom was very nice and welcoming! The quartz I picked is beautiful and arrived exactly as I pictured. The owner (I believe) even moved up our install date to accommodate us seeing our kitchen was in shambles! They arrived on time the day of the install and the installers were super friendly and done within 1.5 hours. Very satisfied with them and would choose them again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I stopped in the store to purchase a granite slab for our fireplace. He is an engineer; he had a detailed sketch of our fireplace and once we selected a piece, he added the details of the piece of granite. The sketch detailed which side had the straight edge, which were rounded and which side we wanted facing up because of the granite striations too. Dave, the employee, even marked the side with an arrow designating the front. Dave told us it would about a week. We waited two weeks and had to call in inquire. Once we brought it home to position it, it was done backwards! I called Dave immediately, he told me if we had someone come out and measure, which was more expensive, then it would have been correct. I told him, that the measurements were correct, the staff had made a mistake and cut the wrong side. I asked what could be done for a discount since it was wrong. He said, he would talk to the owner and never returned my call. I called again, and left another message. Again, no response. At least with this review, I can warn others of their lack of professionalism.

I had a dream of a perfect kitchen and Southwest Michigan Granite made that dream a reality. The value and service were incomparable; and believe me, I shopped around. The installation team arrived exactly when they said, the design template made for accurate installation and, in a word, my quartz counters are STUNNING!!!! Tyler and Eric were respectful, efficient and accommodating. They also cleaned up as they went along. When I tried to tip them they refused, saying they were well-paid. I love, love, love my counters and love a company that cares for its employees and well as its customers. BRAVO!!

I purchased granite for my kitchen and the experience was pretty uneventful with the exception that my lighting fixture was broken.I went in for another, much smaller project, and the owner/salesman told me it wasn’t worth his time.I recently went back in for a new project I took samples and prices and when I went back to purchase, they were going to charge me much more (over $1000 more than original quote). When I asked the original salesperson about it, he told me “we must have been slow”.I’ll spend my money with a company that returns calls, is consistent, and keeps their word.

We met with them several months before our project just to check on price and selection. Once the project was started and we knew we were able to move forward with the quartz we liked, I thought I would have to go back into the store to try to figure out what I had chosen, get a new price, etc. Nope! I called the store and they had all of my information on file, knew exactly what I had selected and honored the price they quoted back in the spring. They came to the house, did a template and installed the material a week later. We LOVE our countertops and they were amazing to work with.....would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone. I will add a picture once our project is finished.

Loving my new quartz countertops! I went into Southwest knowing exactly what I wanted, I had completed a ton of shopping around and research prior to meeting the showroom manager Cheryl. Southwest did not have the sample I was looking for, but Cheryl made a phone call while I was there and had a sample shipped directly to my house. I will say Southwest Granite was more informal then any other shop I had been to during my search, however they were extremely friendly and more then willing to make sure I was happy with my purchase. The owner came to my house to make the template and gave me some suggestions and I am so glad he did. My kitchen looks great! I have read the poor reviews and I can tell you, my experience was positive.

I think my blood pressure has spiked at least to hypertension levels just thinking about rehashing these events again.Southwest Michigan Granite rescheduled my install date without telling me. Actually they totally removed me from the schedule. This was after they already had $1500 of my money.Wouldn’t have been such a problem if my countertops hadn’t already been removed!Instead of trying to squeeze my half day job in, or maybe working late one evening... made me wait two and a half weeks without counters before they installed.My conversation went something along the lines of this when I found out I was rescheduled;Me: Hey there, looking forward to seeing you guys Monday! Here’s the rest of my money I called about dropping off.Cheryl: I don’t see you on the board.Me: Maybe that’s a mistake?Cheryl: No.Me: What happen?Cheryl: You must’ve been removed from the schedule.Me: Well, is it going to be an issue to get my counters installed in the next few days?Cheryl: Yes.Me: ... well when can you work me into the schedule?Cheryl: 4-6 weeks.Me: *panic strikes*Let me tell you, what a LOVLEY, conversation with Tyler (part owner) after I left. Unbelievably unaccommodating. When I asked if he could do it sooner than 4-6 weeks, he said he’d be happy to see me go somewhere else... for me, that would’ve meant picking out a whole new slab from a different company and rescheduling the whole process over again. 8+ weeks out, easy. I was stuck. I asked him why I was taken off the schedule, they said I missed the deadline to drop of my second deposit. Guess I should’ve read the fine print. I asked why they didn’t bother to call or maybe, let me know that’s the contract requirement? Silence. They already had over half the money for the job. I was clearly good for the money. He reluctantly committed to “trying” to fit me in the schedule in the next month. They came through two and a half weeks later.A reluctant 2 stars. Only because the installers were nice.
