Yesterday, I sent my daughter to TNT Pawn Brokers to sell a 14k gold Rosato shoe charm. A little over 5 grams of gold. She was told that the charm wasnt real. They NEVER tested it. Im thinking they were judging her more than the charm. My normal jeweler is closed on Mondays. Today is Tuesday and I just had her take it to my jewelers shop where he tested it and said that it is genuine solid 14k gold and NOT PLATED. Offered a really good price for it too. Frustrating that we wasted gas to go to TNT.... Lesson learned though...wont happen again.

The crew at TnT are always friendly. They also have reasonable prices. Ive gone there for years and I will continue. TnT, you are awesome!

This Pawn store is Over priced, and they Under Value everything by 50% or more. Not only that but if you pawn an item they put a 30% $$ to get it out of pawn. Most Pawns are 10% 30 days 20% 60 days 30% 90 days. They only offer 30 days, at 30% so if you pawn something for 150, normally you would pay 165$ within 30 days. NOT HERE your going to pay 200$ even if you get it out the next day.

Pretty disappointed.I was excited to be in Kalamazoo for once and finally have a chance to checkout your stereo amps.I rarely come to the are and was excited. I got there at 6:07 and you guys were closed and I work at a restaurant so believe me I understand employees wanting to leave. They were having a meeting or something inside and I let them know I traveled an hour to see the stereo amps. They matter of factly stated their hours and that I could come back tomorrow. I told the guy I wouldnt be able to come back, he told me cool. Not cool excited he was being rude. He was acting like I gave them a hard time.Maybe youre employees are told to be strict on your hours but Im not going to be able to come back and wont waste my time either. I dont even know if you have the type of thing Im looking for and it would have been great to be able to know if it was worth a trip back.Nothing wrong you guys did, but I would have loved you helping me out instead of acting like I, a sincere customer was being a jerk.Id still be interested in seeing your stock but youll have to put it online Im not making a trip out. The bad attitude I received made it clear that I dont want to work. You could have acted sorry that you were closed and I drove so far.

I got a sub from them and it was fine next day got a amp brand new it was fried It came with a year warranty from the manufacturer and because of covid-19 the manufacturers department that handles that isn’t doing replacements or refunds so I call tnt they tell me they can’t replace it or return my money I just want another amp even with my receipt they can’t help me so now I’m screwed

First of all, I’ve been coming to TNT since they opened next to the old Young’s army store on Westnedge over a decade ago. Back then it was Tim and Tom. They didn’t have much of anything back then but they grew and expanded out of that small space into a larger store and opened a second on WMU campus. Tim bought out Tom, and Tim is the owner now. I don’t know everyone there, but the people that I do know are good people. I’ve never actually sold anything to them but I’ve been buying there since the beginning. I can tell you that the prices are generally negotiable if you have cash(but not on everything).If you go in there with an attitude, you can expect to feel it back. It makes sense to me. I own a business and I treat my customers how they treat me. I don’t care if I have to let a customer go, because respect is earned, not granted. Some of the kids(and adults) I see in TNT act like thieving degenerates, and expect to be treated like they own the world. TNT is a locally owned and operated business who know the kind of people they cater to.Don’t expect top dollar for an item they can buy from someone else for less... it’s business! They are fair but they aren’t dumb. I would rather buy from TNT than any other pawn shop around! They have a good selection and definitely know jewelry! The owner was a jeweler before he started TNT so you can bet money that he knows what he’s talking about when it comes to jewelry! I’m a google local guide, and this is one place I’d recommend checking out if you’re looking to sell or buy used items... It really is a good store!

I went into TNT the other day, I had an issue and by the time I got done looking around it was fixed, always get taken care of by Tim and his employees, good people to deal with nuf said

I took my sons there to possibly buy my oldest another guitar. He was looking for a cheaper practice jazz guitar, which they had. After looking around at other things he asked to see and play the guitar that we were wanting to purchase. The sales woman was nice and went to get an amp and chord for my son. The other salesman took the guitar down and as he was about to hand it over the owner (I assume) who was in front of his computer with a phone to his ear says Are you interested in buying that?! I was a little taken aback and kinda confused. I responded with Well...maybe. Without looking away from his computer and with zero customer service tone he says That is an expensive guitar. Are you gonna buy it? -Not without him playing it first, cant he play it?, I replied. He again, without coming over to us, without putting his phone down said again with what seemed like unprovoked irritancy Thats NOT a cheap guitar. (This was not an expensive guitar to us. $500) but none the less At this point my sons felt as though they had or were doing something wrong. I simply said never mind, hang it back up.I have seen this man interact rudely with customers before. Im sure he deals with shady people often but never should he treat customers the way we felt he treated us. We did buy two guitars that day though....thank you Guitar Center.

I love this store the owner, and who I’m assuming are his sons, are very helpful and respectfulness always willing to answer my questions. But my only issue is with the short guy who is always condescending and acts like because I have a medical condition, that I can’t comprehend what he is saying. I’ve never been disrespected so horribly before. I hope something is done about him because I’ve been in the store multiple times before and loved the experience. But he makes me not want to go back. If you want a good price and great customer service go here but stay away from him. (You’ll know him when you see him).

Great shop me and my son pawn his guns when I need some help and they have always worked with us to make sure we get them out. I have never purchased something I regretted from this shop. Nicest shop in kzoo.

I wrote a review for a different pawn shop sometime ago and accidentally posted it to TNT, this other place wasnt even a real pawn shop though they advertised as if they were... Anyhow, TNT is a great place! I have bought electronics from them before and never had issues. Sometimes Ive gotten a loan on some things and they were really cool to work with, they even helped me out getting it back. I highly recommend TNT of Kalamazoo if you are looking for some good deals or need a loan.

Love this Group of people they really seem to care and have an awesome sense of humor! When I had a problem they fixed it right away no questions asked!

TNT is a great place to shop. I have read the other reviews posted. People do not understand that pawnshops will not give you the full price you bought something for when you come in to make a pawn. The guys at TNT are extremely friendly. They know exactly what they are talking about. TNT is an amazing place to go to.

Would not take my items. Their prices are nearly as high as beans new items. Some items are more then buying at Costco, Walmart or Amazon. Buyer beware!

I bought a Kindle Fire from them for about half of what I would have for a new one. They were very helpful and straight forward with me.I read the complaints about the mark up between what was given to the people who were selling and the people who were buy but they are there to make money. I would recommend Craigslist for those of you who do not understand that you are going to get top dollar for used merchandise. They make you an offer and it is up to you to decided whether you will take it or not. They are not twisting your arm to sell your stuff.

Was unable to return a high priced electronic after it broke after a week. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND JUST GO TO A TRUSTED RETAILER SUCH AS WALMART OR MEIJERS AT LEAST THEY STAND BEHIND THERE MERCHANDISE.They tried to say it was burnt smelling after plugging it in and looking at it for 4 minutes they tried there hardest to get out of giving me a refund they said it could be the harddrive and they dont cover hard drives or maybe a power surge at my home or maybe it got unplug while it was on. Or maybe my house is just wired wrong and maybe I should just call an electrician.I had to take it to a third party professional business for repair after a proper examination they had concluded that the power supply was working properly and it had a motherboard failure NOT PHYSICAL DAMAGE and would be more cost effective to buy a new ps4. I did not go back to tnt with this information because they would just make up another lie with there Very shady business practices in closing im greatful to Google for giving customers a voice and exposing these fraudulent scam artist trying to portray a honest business.

They were willing to deal, and the stapler was like new but for less then half of a new one will definitely recommend

Messed with my laptop settings without permission under no circumstances is this OK.Update:. Dear store owner, you wont find me in the system because I didnt sell my laptop. It is common sense that if I didnt sell it that I will not be in the system. Your employees clearly broke the rules because they messed with my laptop settings and reset the thing wiping my entire PC. Why the heck would I sell my laptop for peanuts after that treatment. Anyone who reads this do not let them touch your laptop without recording what they do.

This is the worst pawn shop Ive ever been in.Customer service is poor and nothing I ever took in there was worthy of getting a loan.And Ive took electronics,musical instruments and more.Guns is all theyre interested in.Oh,jewelry of course.Anyway,Ill never waste my time going there again.

Brought a DeWalt hammer drill as a Christmas gift for my son. He cant believe the price and condition of drill.I was treated fair and got the drill for 1/2 of the retail price.

Don’t buy their tools.They sell snap on and blue point tools used for the same price they cost on the snap on truck 😂
