When I walked in to Antique Rug Imports I knew I had found the end of my search for the perfect rug. The whole building breathed authenticity! Still, I could have been overwhelmed by all of the beautiful options, but Mahmet and his staff were extremely helpful in listening to what I had pictured for my space, talking about my decorating style and then laying out rug after rug until we found something that would fit my needs and budget. I was worried about investing in something so beautiful with a potty training toddler and puppy at home- but we have found that these rugs are so high quality and resilient that no matter what we spill on it, it essentially wipes right off- even v-8 juice! I feel like our purchase was a safe investment, because I have already had people asking to buy my rug from me! But I feel like this heirloom quality piece will last a long time and could be in our family for years. It has rounded out the feeling of homey warmth in our house and adds a lot of natural elegance. I am very happy with our purchase and know that I will be looking for any opportunity to buy from Antique Rug Imports again!

A while back I bought a woven wool rug off of craigslist. The rug was beautiful but really needed to be cleaned. There there dark spots on one side of it, from I dont know what... I took it to Mehmet, and he did a wonderful job of it. The rug is sparkling clean now and looks wonderful. The price for the job was just right. He cut me a deal and I really appreciate it.
