My husband had a trunk hinge repair done at this auto shop. He was asked to pay in full in order to order the part prior to the start of service which he did. On 1012 is when the service was rendered. After the completion of the trunk hinge repair what is completed and his car was picked up he inspected the trunk hinge and noticed his brand new subwoofers one of them was damage we contacted the shop only to be informed that the subwoofer was damaged prior to the trunk and repair we were not notified they did not take any pictures nor did we receive a phone call informing us that it was damaged prior to the start of their service. when we contacted the auto shop and asked if they were aware of the damage done to the subwoofer they stated it was already damaged prior to the start of service and they thought the trunk and repair and the damage subwoofer coincided with each other. We asked the man to reimburse us the cost of the damage subwoofer he stated to take him to small claims court. This shop Is very unprofessional when it comes to customer service while the trunk hinge was completed with no issues The damage done to the subwoofer without prior knowledge is the only issue we have with this auto shop. I would recommend anyone who uses the shop to take pictures prior to service just for your own records because this auto shop will blame you and not inform you of any damage that occurs after the service
Price I ended up paying was higher than projected. Still glad they really helped me out... real nice guys that work here
Very nice people to work with, they will get you fixed up!
Overpriced Impound lot calls opening shop on weekends a inconvenient and makes you pay over 100 more
Great job. Would recommend ro anyone that needs paint and body work
The work itself is fine. Its the usurious billing that is the problem. $175 for a three block tow. They then picked the most expensive battery available on top of that. Last time I trust anyone based on reputation from the past. Kings has changed for the worst.
I cannot emphasize this enough .... BEST PLACE TO GO!Barry absolutely was a Godsend to me! So was Tom who worked on my car.The entire team, including Ms T at the front desk...amazing. My car and I see them as family now. Never going anywhere else!
When I went inside for a paint quote for my vehicle. The older individual in front office got up and said... let me show you why you don’t want to repaint vehicle. The truck was my fathers and holds sentimental value to me. I dropped a new motor in it along with all new suspension and full body grommet replacement. I did not choose to do business with establishment due to the fact. It’s not his place to tell me what its worth or important to me. Just honestly a poor choice of words and attitude for business.
I will be bringing my Camaro back for more body work, fixed my car where the damages from where a wreck took place, came and towed it, even looked at it before I made a decision on a shop and came to where my car was. Honest and all the staff there were very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you all there, see ya tax time!
They did a great job on my husbands Mercedes
Have never had any problems from the Kings. Wouldnt take any of my vehicles any where else.
Berry King was great helping out during my sons wreck
Friendy people great work
Had a simple repair, needed new front end, headlihht and hood. The car had been with them for a week after I gave it back to them for doing a bad job the first time and the only thing they did was give me a new hood emblem, so we sued and now they are you $3,600 as soon as my car was off the property, but I wasnt aware of this. So at the same time an old man starts running towards my car my mom calls me and screams at me telling me to lock my doors, so I do just in time. Go to pull off and this mf hits my door with his hand as hard as he could and I think he had a key or something in it because my paint was scratched. Do NOT trust Butch or Barry with anything!!
Great people, great work
I just had my Toyota van repaired at Kings, could not ask for nicer people to deal with, they did everything they could to repair my car with the amount the insurance company paid. This is the second time that they have repaired my van over the years. I would not deal with any one else, they are a top notch company, honest and up front about everything.
Called to see if I could get in to get some things out of my wrecked truck around 7:30. They were more than willing to meet me there to unlock the gate so that I could get my things that I needed for work the next day. Even said just lock up when you are done. I appreciate that more than they will ever know. Thanks.
Horrible. The owner is a LIAR!! 1st told me that Kannapolis City Police tell them what to charge for towing in an accident. I call the police department while standing in his face and she said he was lying. Then he says well Rowan Police is what I meant to say. So I call them as well and they said they dont do that either. Then he says he charged me for towing sweeping up glass (which the other company swept up because I was there and the glass was cleaned up before his company got there) walking to the gate to unlock it so my son could get his wallet and coming out of his bed to get the car. Hmmmmm can I see where that is in your towing prices? Mind you the car was towed less than 3 miles. But he will reap what he sows!!! God dont like ugly!!
Family oriented
Good, honest people and they do quality work for reasonable prices!
Barry and his team have always do good by me and my family.
I took an original 1930 fordor model A to Kings for an estimate on a paint job and they wanted over $14,000 to totally restore the car. The $14,000 dollars did not upset me what did was that they said they the necessary hardware (nuts, bolts, washers etc..) from Home Depot and Lowes. The top fabric instead of using Ford official Long Grain they said they would use upholestry from a local carpenter. If you want Model A turned into a kit then Kings is the place, but if you have a true interest and appreciation for Model Aa as well as for that era Kings should be avoided at all cost. They do excellent work at painting cars, but do not have enough appreciation for cars of the twenties and thirties for me to have them to work on any of mine. However. I believe they do have an interest in turning a car from the great depression era into a hot rod street car.
Wont be offering them any more business. They didnt even want to talk to me about repainting just a bumper, or when I needed a camper shell repainted. They Didnt mind the bigger jobs I brought in. If you cant do my smaller jobs, youre definately not getting any more of the bigger jobs.
Kings Auto Body has some of the most honest owners around.
They SUCK. No returns on calls, so obviously no fixing shoddy work. Good luck getting quality work done here.
Professional, they know what they are doing. Kind hometown atmosphere.
Very rude employees that work there
These dudes can right the wrongs!
Outstanding people
Its okay
