My wife and I purchased a house recently and within two days of closing the fridge died. We went to American Freight to try and find a new fridge and we were pleasantly surprised at the selection; both brand new fridges and ones which had scratches and dents. Came here with my significant other to find some stuff for the guest bedroom. He had gone to the Shawnee Mission location last night and had a horrible experience-we weren’t expecting much better here. Let me tell you, the staff here is amazing. We had the doors opened for us and were warmly welcomed by the male attendant who helps with delivery/pickup (did not catch his name but he was absolutely lovely), and Latonya was the perfect balance of hands-on/hands off. She allowed us the space to browse while still making herself available for questions/concerns. She was extremely helpful and went to the back to verify inventory for us SEVERAL times, with no complaints. We had such a great experience and are truly blown away by how friendly the staff was and the ease of our experience. We were able to take home everything the same day as purchase, and the loading process was quicker than anticipated. Thank you so much for helping us fill the guest room!!!

Went into American Freight today to buy a washing machine. Was helped by Derek and was so impressed by his knowledge, professionalism and his patience. Considering I looked at every washer 3 times and had a ton of questions. The staff was very friendly. I got a LG washer for a great price ( much lower then I expected) All in all we had a great experience and would definitely recommend!

Kind of a 2nd sale place for outdated and dented items. Lots to look at but be careful of the prices. Appliances are priced almost new. Just a few hundred dollars to buy new with a warranty.

Definitely check this place out if you are in need of appliances. Stock varies daily so keep that in mind, but its alot better than dealing with back orders. Warren was great! We were looking for a refrigerator, he showed us around the sales floor and told us about all the models without being pushy. He also took the time to check the back stock where he found the exact one we were looking for. Thank you Warren! We will be back.

I have been looking for the perfect sectional and it took all of 20 minutes to not only find it but also in checking out. Lindsey was able to answer all my questions and made the process quick and easy. Definitely will be back for other furniture and recommend to anyone to check it out!

I scheduled my delivery for Saturday and was told I’d be contacted 24 hours before delivery to setup a time. Well, Saturday rolls around and nobody called me. I call customer service and they say “oh well that’s because your delivery is scheduled for Monday.” THAT’S NOT HOW SCHEDULING DELIVERIES WORKS. I picked Saturday because obviously that was the only day that works for me but you guys changed it without warning. Customer service calls the store, they spoke with Derek and then connected me to him. Derek tells me “oh well I can’t do anything for you but make your delivery first in line on Monday, you should get it by 9:15” Whatever. I work 55+ hour weeks and don’t get off until late so waking up very early is a massive inconvenience. Then, Monday rolls around and they give me a live tracker that tells me when my delivery will be here. 9:15 and first in line QUICKLY changed to 9:45-1PM and third in line. I told Derek that it HAD to be early in the morning or it wouldn’t work. This company has been so frustrating to deal with that I honestly should of canceled my order after the first incident on Saturday. They refused to let me speak with a manager so I could have the thought process of changing delivery dates with literally 0 notice or warning and were very rude on the phone. The chances of me ever buying something from here are slim and I know for a fact I’d rather rent a U haul then rely on these guys to deliver something.

Ive never been to this place before but I have went on their website. From the site, it seem cool and I had questions so I decided to check this location out. As soon as I came in one of the salespersons, Lindsey, greeted me and offered her assistance. More companies need salespersons like her because she answered all my questions, very honest, walked me threw the process and explained everything in detail. She is awesome 👍🏽👌🏾. Great place to find discounted new and scratch/dental appliances. Go earlier in the week. Not much after the weekend according to the sales associate, but still had a decent sample. Furnishings and mattress there as well, but I wasnt shopping for these, so I didnt look at these closely. Did seem to have large selection as well.

When the couch I paid for arrived I realized it was the wrong color. The men who delivered (who were excellent) told us to call and they would have someone fix it. Not a wide variety. Average furniture and basic beds sets.They do have nice rugs for sale.

I went in on Saturday and made a purchase on a scratch and dent floor model washer. Took it home as is no packaging or instruction booklet. Once home we set it up and put a load in. The washer would not stop filing. We stopped the washer but not before water leaked out. An immediate call was made to American Freight and they said to bring it back. I downloaded the instruction book to see how to drain the water. We could not get the washer to drain the water so we had to remove the clothes and take the water out with a bucket. We took the washer back on Sunday and Lindsey exchanged the washer. We took this one home and it works beautifully.

Excellent experience. Would recommend to do business with. Lindsey was very helpful and knowledgeable of their products.

Awesome! Got a $900 stove for only $500. Has dents where you normally wouldnt see. The outlet also has recliners, dishwashers, fridges, and even lawnmowers. Definitely worth a trip and Ill be visiting again.

So we bought our fridge in dec 2020 and all went fine at first until we got it home loaded it up after it felt cool and the next day the freezer was not working so left us with 300.00-500.00 in food lose and we would call and call about a fridge and got blown off a lot or they would not answer their phones. It is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen and experienced in my 36 years. So then it gets worse so we reached out to our warranty for the food lose replacement but they said because American freight didn’t put down it was a replacement fridge that we could not get our 300.00 for food lose until they wrote up a small claim explaining and they said that’s not their job or wouldn’t answer after that last conversation or acted like they didn’t know what was going on. So needless to say we have had to slowly restock our freezer for our children because that is who benefits from the this food the most and it saddens me they couldn’t take 2 mins to write up a claim and email it to me and boom done with me as a customer I would have left it alone but no now I will never ever ever shop here again and they should make it right but I seriously doubt they will. I would think twice before purchasing from these people. They’re so rude too. Often hung up on me and ignored my calls. It’s so sad that customer service is that hard for them. I wanted to pay my fridge off early but couldn’t because I had to restock my freezer and all. Just saying BE AWARE OF WHO YOURE WORKING WITH HERE! may seem discounted but I would pay more for quality service. Have a great day everyone.

Lindsey was so nice and helpful during our visit. She helped us choose our washer and dryer and made sure we had everything needed to hook it up. She is wonderful! The two stars are because we had two men come out to install our washer and dryer. They said everything was good to go, but when we went to use the dryer that night our entire room filled up with moisture and humidity. We looked, and the dryer wasn’t remotely hooked up! After trying to fix it ourselves, having all the clothes we have with us from our move soaking wet at midnight, when we both had work the next day, we couldn’t fix the problem. I called the next day and spoke to a man who wasn’t friendly in the slightest. Never apologized for the inconvenience, basically implied I was giving him the wrong phone number on our account... and then told me someone else would be calling to schedule an appointment for them to come fix it. I knew that information would never be relayed so my husband bought the materials needed to fix it ( more money out of our account ) and fixed it himself.
