Their shop is conveniently located off of Mason and I-10. Josh did a great job on the window. Their prices are fair as well. I would use his services again.

I called at 4:30 on Tuesday to have a chip in my windshield repaired. I was told the Katy location should still be open. I drove 30 minutes from Richmond to have it fixed. I arrived a little after 5 only to discover the sign on the door says they close at 4. OK, so I decide Ill go back Wednesday to have it fixed. So today is Wednesday. I drove another 30 minutes to the same location. I get there.... Door is locked. So all in total Ive wasted 2 hours of driving just to be greeted with locked doors. Oh, and the guy also said hes not accepting insurance anymore even though their website says they are. He said it takes too long for insurance to pay him so itll be $50 and I can ask the insurance company to reimburse me. Definitely would not recommend this business.

My windshield received a chip heading into work this week and I stopped into a few chip repair places to compare pricing before getting the work done. I called Chip doctor to get price and possibly make an appointment and Josh called me back immediately. His price was fair and I set appointment for next day AM. I showed up and he was finishing up on a car and I was taken pretty close to appointment time. I sat in my car while he repaired it and he explained the process to me even though it was foreign to me. I was in and out in a reasonable time frame. He was very professional and I am pleased with my repairs.

I would highly recommend The Chip Doctor. The service was very fast, professional, and priced low. Josh did great work on the crack in my windshield. It went from maybe the size of a 50 cent piece to a barely noticeable dot. I will definitely be calling again if I get another chip/crack. And he came to my place, I didnt have to go anywhere.

Very professional, polite and affordable. I spent 4 days calling several businesses to ask for their price without using insurance. This place was the best price. I have already told my husband and my friends about this service.

He asked me if the windshield had gotten wet at any point and I said no totally forgetting it rained the day before briefly. He did what he could with the repair and although there’s a mark where the chip was, it looks fine. 10/10 would recommend.

I visited the Chip Doctor at his new location on Hwy 6, just south of I-10. He was forced out of his old location on Fry Rd due to some new business developments.Josh was friendly, courteous, and professional. He did a great job fixing my rock chip. I also had a few small rock chips on my windshield that he determined was superficial and he was honest about it not needing to be repaired. Decided on the Chip Doctor because of the excellent reviews and because I prefer to support small businesses when feasible. My insurance doesnt offer free chip repair and Josh made me aware of this when I called. Luckily, I have $0 deductible comprehensive which means there would be no out of pocket cost for me.I had 2 chips in my windshield that needed repair. The first one was filled without a hiccup. The second chip wouldnt cooperate and one of its cracks started to spread. Josh did what he could to complete the repair, but in the end he recommended getting the windshield replace and when asked he recommended a place for me to consider.Although Josh wasnt able to complete the repair, I appreciate the time time he took to answer my questions before and during the repair.Note: The waiting area / work space is exposed to the elements. If you do not want to be in the heat, there are neighboring establishments you could wait in as well as grab a bite/drink.

The chip doctor was very nice and professional. This is the first time Ive ever been to a place like this but if I ever get another chip in my window I will definitely visit him again. I didnt give a perfect rating because the chip doesnt completely go away but it prevents it from spreading especially in the Texas heat.
