Fair price! Good work. My Rice burning Civic Type R was welcomed in a house of muscle. I ended up having to ship the parts there and due to some circumstances wasnt able to get there for a month. They didnt give me any trouble about it. I would recommend HP to anyone that needs auto work.

These guys are awesome! Not only did they do an exceptional job tuning my Dodge Durango, but they gave me ideas to produce even more power, they were extremely knowledgeable and they took the time to answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend these guys! Will be using them for more projects in the future.

Awful experience and will never do business with them! Spoke to rep before coming and was told I could do a walk in after 12pm for 2 dyno pulls. Arrived there and was told that all staff are tied up and this typically happens and will have to comeback another day! What unsatisfied me even more was that I call right before I came and told them im on the way and the rep didnt mention anything about them being tied up.

Amazing customer services. My 05 supercharged mustang gt had some issues that impelled the dynotuning process.They troubleshooter exactly the issues and solved all the problems. Now my car is doing 438 RWHP and 479lb of torque. Professional, such as a very good guys.

My car has been at this location for about 6 months plus now constantly getting the run around of why its not ready. They never call to update on progress, and have horrible customer service. Today I was informed that they were closing the shop and going out of business and to take my car as is, not drivable condition. Oh and on top of that they expect me to pay! Ive already given them plenty of money, my car was broken into while at this shop and none of that was communicated to me! If you have your vehicle at this shop get it out ASAP!!

I had a quote and came on Friday at noon to drop my car as well as to discuss the job needed with the owner. The employee told me that he was out, and that I might want to come the next day on Saturday, as he should be in the office and would open the gate.I drove to the shop on Saturday, nobody open the gate even though there were 2+ guys in the shop. I made at least 50 calls and nobody picked up. The voicemail was also full.Note that I had to drive from Sugar Land, near Rosenberg to their store.Bad customer service!

HP tuned my TT S10. They did a hell of a job.There was a little mis hap while my truck was there. They called me up and told me what happened. It was really not a big deal. But they manned up and fixed it and painted my hood and rear roll pan. I could not be more impressed with there professionalism.They will be tuning my 2018 Silverado next.So if your looking for high quality performance Tuning try them out! I promise you will not be disappointed. They are there to please the customer. Thats number one in my book.

I brought my 1990 Foxbody to these guys after I had a hard time finding someone that could tune it. They were professional, informative and knowledgeable of my 30 year ride. Car runs absolutely incredible! I will be back.

Worked here for the past 8 months left a very solid job to come work for Rey and then 8 months later out of nowhere he closes the place and now Im out 3grand in labor and no way to get it back if you have cars there go get them ASAP mr brooks the owner is a horrible person to do business with

The business is Secure, clean, works there are awesome with customers service I walked in an Seen they also sell wheels and tire I knew they were going to get my Ride running right. Took my 2009 corvette here on April 6 for a dyno. My radiator ended up having a leak. So prior to the dyno they swapped my radiator out for me. Broke my fan shroud, bent my AC condenser, didn’t top off the transmission fluid that came out from disconnecting the transmission cooler lines. When I mentioned the transmission fluid they kinda blew me off because “it didn’t lose that much fluid”.Once they were done with the radiator swap they proceeded to put the car on the dyno. When I mentioned making sure they topped off the transmission fluid again to the tech that was strapping it down to the dyno, he popped the hood looking for a dip stick (that corvettes are not even equipped with) he closed the hood and ignored me and proceeded to dyno my car.They barely knew how to work the dyno, and didn’t data log as I requested. The whole point of the dyno was to see what my fueling was looking like for future mods, along with a few other things.The dyno numbers were way off and no one could even explain all the different numbers. The graph said one number, the screen out side the graph had rwhp numbers that didn’t match the graph, and it also showed crank HP.The dyno was pointless and a waste of time and money.I’m looking to add flex fuel to my car but I doubt I will be returning to this particular shop.UPDATEI received an email from Rey on 4/23/2019 saying that the owner would like to speak with me.I called the owner back the following day 4/24/2019He said that he wanted to do anything he could to make it right. I informed him that I had already purchased a new fan shroud and had everything else taken care of.He offered to take care of the cost of those things and I said “that’s okay, I don’t need anyone to pay for anything. But it would be nice if I could get a better dyno session”He agreed and since my schedule was tight we set it up for Sunday 4/28/19 at 10am. No one showed up at the shop. Showed up 10 minutes early, I waited outside the shop for 30 minutes.They had sent me quotes on a flex fuel sensor and an E85 Tune as I requested. But I let him know that at the moment I was just interested in getting another dyno to see what all I would need.Since I didn’t respond to the quote, he said they assumed I wasn’t coming to my appointment on the 28th for my dyno session we scheduled. So none of his employees showed up.I took my car to Motorsport Technology INC instead. I got my dyno, ID1050X injectors, DSX flex fuel sensor, Vararam intake, and Tune....spent a pretty penny and I’m glad i didn’t waste it at this shop.Do your self a favor and shop around.

Took my 2016 hellcat in to have the tune checked from previous work from another shop.....best decision I ever made. They fixed my old tune and cars never ran better. Friendly helpful staff. Very knowledgeable and honest about upgrades and costs. They have my business from now on. I will be back for future performance work.

So this is what almost 10,000 and almost a year can do on this shop . They said one thing then another at the end this .. took the car complete now in pieces .. and they supposed did a dyno tune on it I dont know how they did that if when I was supposed to get the car didnt even wanted to start. Anyways.. DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST BEFORE TAKING YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE.

Well I starting going to HpMotorsports in 2018! My very first experience there was when they installed my Mace camshafts! Or better yet finished installing my mace camshafts on my v6 Camaro and did a few other things for me aswell! Now they have built my engine(LFX) with forged internals, new stall converter! We’re currently as of February 16, 2021 working on getting the fueling correct to have the fastest 5th gen v6 Camaro in the world! Or if not that definitely aleast in Texas! I have all the faith in the world that we will see those numbers and time slips! Can I get a heck yeah for the future!In terms of customer service everyone in the shop is super friendly and makes you feel like your one of them! Just be respectful and allow them to get their work done and when you have questions they will answer and entertain you! They also don’t mind showing off some of their other builds in the shop. Rey has even came to my house that is almost a 2hour drive to pick up my car when I couldn’t drive it over there!I see a few bad reviews on here, but like everything in this world there are always two sides to a story and I can definitely assure you that Hp Motorsports has the correct one! Especially with rey in management and the loving manager they have!Stick with HP for the horsepower and the fair prices they offer, couldn’t have done my build without breaking the bank 🏦!!P.S they also have great snacks if you come at lunch time👀

I had Kooks long tube headers and x pipe installed on my 2009 c6 Corvette and cam. Car runs great Corvette are known to run a little hot normally but with all of that a little hotter than I like. They installed a Dewitts radiator fan combo runs 20 degrees cooler. I recommend these guys they do great work.

My experience was good at hp motorsports. I got a tour of the shop and seen some cool cars in the process. Rey was the tech that worked on my car and was professional. I will definitely bring my car back for more mods!!

The guys at HP know what they are doing. I had a 700 horse power motor from LME put in my C6 Corvette. I cant tell you how happy I am with the work they did. I would recommend this shop to my friends. Thanks again for a great job 👍

After hearing word of their new ownership, I consulted with Ray, at HPM, about a speed calibration on my lifted truck with a modified final drive ratio. The next thing you know, I ended up also getting more mods like a 2.9l whipple, upgraded camshaft, and headers. I was surprised at the level of hospitality I recieved on my visit to drop off and pick up, as well as the knowledge these guys have. The end product turned out phenomenal. I would definitely recommend for all your performance needs.

I converted my 01 Tahoe to electric fans and I had them plug the relays in to the PCM and run a diagnostic on the engine. They did and awesome job and I would highly recommend them and plan I going back to them for a set of long tube headers and a tune.

These guys are nothing short of fantastic! They were able so solve an issue with my Camaro SS which 2 dealers and 1 other performance shop could not. These guys knew exactly what they were speaking about when they lured me in from my initial phone call. I called them frustrated, and when i drove the car away, I had to really double check that i had the same vehicle. These guys made a difference, period! I recommend them for any performance or high performance repair or consulting. Cool shop, friendly staff, highly skilled.

HP Motorsports came highly recommended by a friend of mine. The quality of the work is excellent. I am really happy with my exhaust system upgrade and tune. I did need to go back to the shop for another tune and adjustment but the manager made things very convenient and easy. Ask for Rey. He went above and beyond to make sure that the job was done right!

Had my exhaust and headers done.. as soon as they were done installing there was problems with the car not running properly after hours later they Dyno and tune my car... car still not running right been back several times service engine light is on something with the O2 sensor reading wrong...(while I was waiting for them to work on my car another customer came in there saying something about their car doing the same exact thing... go figure) the last time I was up there I was waiting to speak with the manager Ray... The owner came in, he overheard me say something about Google reviews got in my face yelling at me telling me to leave his place of business leaving me with a car not running right... Really surprised to be treated this way

Wow - this guys are super professionals, had to do an exhaust swap and they did it in 3 hours where other shop charge for 8 hours.They were Proffessional fast and courteous - absolutely recommended.

Always expect quality work. I have had the pleasure of meeting the owners of the business and am impressed with their diligence to get the work done right. Mr. Brooks has more than a passion in the car industry. At one time he owned the fastest Camaro in the world which showcases his knowledge of performance. Moreover, his drive for innovation has lead him to design and craft exclusive parts like camshafts which are state of the art. The shop does everything performance and will even go as far as to lift/lower all vehicles including trucks.

Fantastic customer service! I went in the middleOf the day during the week without prior notice to make some dyno pulls. They were able to get me right in and take care of me! Excellent performance shop with great staff!!!

Worst mechanic shop I have ever dealt with. If I could give negative stars I would! They charged $5,000 for a cam and lifter change and tune. The car is in worst shape then what it was when it went in there. They charged me for spark plug wires and when I got there they still had my old ones on. They pretended like they forgot of course. My car was missing bolts visible in plain sight. They replaced them after I pointed it out but didnt use the original bolts that belonged there. They just used random bolts. It took them a whole month to do the job. I expected nothin less then perfect seeing how long they took on the repair and how much they charged me. When I went to pick the car up and test drove it a check engine light came on. They kept me there till 8pm trying to fix the problem. I drove the car home no issue but the very next morning when I started the car it would rev high then shut completely off. I took my car back there 5 different times to get the problem fix and still till right now the car is running horrible. When I would try and contact Rey by text or phone about the issue it would take a day to a day in half to get a response. Worst customer service ever. Not only does the car continue to shut off in idle at park it also does it while driving. For example rolling to traffic light the car idles low and just shuts off. Again horrible place to take your car. Please do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake taking my car here was a horrible decision and I am still paying it. I will have to pay another shop AGAIN for them to do the job correctly and hope my motor doesnt get damaged by HP Motorsports lack of knowledge to do a proper repair. The BBB will defiantly be getting a formal complaint from me about this business and the way they treat their costumers . WARNING!! WARNING!!

Had longtube headers installed and they perform as expected at the higher rpms. The mufflers that they installed on the truck did it no justice sound wise, also i came in with a check engine light, they told me that it would be off when everything was done and it wasnt and its still on now. The dyno tuning process was nice to watch but the truck doesnt feel much different overall throttle response wise but it does pull a lot harder when its at a high rpm. Wanted to see my last dyno pull but still havent received it yet. Overall i enjoyed the service but i still want the issues to be resolved regarding the dyno tuning and check engine light also Ray was super polite and easy to work with

We were first-time customers to HP. We had a C6 Corvette and wanted a Borla exhaust system installed. We met Mike Cole and took a tour of the shop. We received excellent service and the job was done to perfection. We also met the owner, David Brooks who took the time to insure our job was done right. Couldnt have asked for better treatment or service! Job well done boys! We highly recommend this HP Motorsport business and will be sending referrals.

I came here with a broken Tensioner Bracket that was attached to the aluminum block on my car. I was recommend to Damian Britton to weld me a tensioner without having to male any welds on the engine itself. Man was he great, he built me a bracket and no my car is smoother than ever. He was a very helpful person and found issues along the way and addressed them. The shop is amazing, and the race cars that they are working on are awesome. I 100% recommend Justin and the shop.

Its not often you find great service and professionalism. I dont endorse just any business, but Im happy to stamp HP Motorsports on the picture of my car The Red Storm. HP Motorsports did a GREAT job giving my Camaro a Dyno Tune and pushing it to new levels of performance. They talked me through the process and check everything down to replacing a bad spark plug to a entire new set. The Red Storm is now a Big storm rolling through Houston. Great people, great service and they will make sure that things get done. They don’t rush the project, they will keep the car until the work is done and all the tuning is done right. I took my 2016 C7R Corvette with 650HP and came out with approximately 1,000HP and I can daily drive it still! I trusted them with a $115,000 vehicle so you should too!

I had My 2014 Ram 5.7 Hemi upgraded at this shop. Installed MDS delete and COMP 266 vvt cam. Total bill $5000. Upon their Dyno test truck definatley was not right. It was given to me without any repairs. 30,000 miles later and many attempts to diagnose the real problem motor blows up. Tore the motor down to find out they installed MDS lifters with a non MDS cam. Folks it does not get any more bone headed than that. In true dirty mechanic fashion Ray is denying that they put the lifters in. I wouldnt expect anything less from him since he kicked me out of his shop when he couldnt fix it with his magic computer. Take it from past customers, these guys are mildly experienced mechanics with a big sign and a good salesman. Problem is once you pay them they turn around and treat you like a cockroach and have zero intention of giving you the service you deserve. You have been warned.

I was given a tour of the shop. They can do any type of mod needed. They have some really unique projects along with the go fast projects. Great group of people.

So now that you guys are under new ownership is there a way i could get some compensation for my engine that blew up right after leaving the shop all that was done was the governor was removed and swapped out lower control arms from BMR to Cortex, was told they would look at the tune i had and see if they could get me more power i said not to do that because it was good where it was at and to just take off the governor not the rev limiter. i also said i wanted to keep my BMR lower control arms because they are worth at least $180 and i could sell them but of course they lost them. but they did buy me new ones and shipped them to may house so i cant complain about that and is why i will give at least 2 stars. i hope the new ownership doesnt blow peoples engines up like mine and my friends

Place is meh, they are friendly people, but I didnt feel that I received their best. I got a tune and a oil catch can installed. The oil catch can is leaking which defeats the entire purpose of why I had one installed in the first place. The tune I received was underwhelming and seemed rushed. I know I didnt bring in a 500 hp car, but I felt they could have put more work into the tune to make it better. Honestly I wouldnt recommend this place unless you were bringing the best of the best to begin with.

I don’t get how this place still has a decent rating, I took my G8 there about a year ago, they kept it two weeks and literally did nothing then Jay calls me with an attitude b/c I called asking about my car so I flipped out on how unprofessional he was and picked up my car(thank god bc they lie about the parts they install ) ended up just being the throttle body and was simple fix, he said he tuned the car and I wasn’t charged for it but they couldn’t figure out it was the TB?? Anyways stay away and people need to write reviews when they have a bad experience at places !

Read the update Below.Had Headers installed with a dyno tune on my C7. Had to redo the headers at another shop as they were installed wrong. Tune was someone elses or someone didnt know what they were doing. Had to purchase new plugs and O2s because it was running so rich. Went in to save some money, but got what I paid for. I gave them a chance to fix it and dropped the car off for a week. The car was never touched and they even went to say the tune was not the issue for it running so rich. Had another shop redo the tune and he showed me the pre settings. I was lucky my motor didnt blow up.* After a follow up on the response below for HP I have adjusted my review. It is never my intention to ruin a place of business, being that it is under new management. With that being said I will adjust my review to be what now looks to be quality customer service.

Awesome Shop, friendly environment. Prices are very affordable and the work is QUALITY WORK Rey really gave me alot of detailed info about my vehicle that I was unaware of. I would highly recommend this shop, especially for any performance vehicles. Awesome experience dealing with the guys at HP helped me reach and exceed my performance goals

Best decision I made was to take my 2018 F150 5.0 Coyote 2-wheel drive truck to HP Motorsports...! I live in the Dripping Springs, TX area and was having performance, shifting issues with my installed mods, tune from a local shop. I drove 160 miles to HP Motorsports, they corrected an intake vacuum leak, synced up my dual [E85/93 oct] tune and corrected the performance, shifting issues with their in house custom tune...Oh and I picked up an additional 21 hp and 43 ft lbs of tq at the wheels [452hp/421ft lbs of tq] with their tune! All of that and out the door in the same day. Every one there was courteous and very professional.

Charged $2,600 for cam installs. After I paid, we opened the valve covers to see if the cams were really installed. My car had stock cams in it. Jay Hammersley put a mild ghost cam tune to make it sound like it had cams in it. I called him back and said he would refund my money. He didn’t apologize or argue. He just said you will have your refund. Well he ghosted me and hasn’t refunded my money. I have screenshots and everything available under his name, shop name, and phone number to prove he owes me a refund. I spoke to an attorney last night and he said I have enough to take him to court. So y’all stay tuned. Stay away from this shop, HP Motorsports and Jay Hammersley are thieves.

ATTTENTION!!!! Took my truck to get tuned. Truck actually came out worst than when it when in for the tune. Took it to another performance shop the owner of the other shop actually showed me on his computer that HP motorsports did the most minimal things possible almost nothing. Paid 650 at HP for a mediocre service at best. My suggestion look for another shop. You wont regret taking your time to look for another shop.

Stay clear of this place! Cant stand anything more than a thief and thats what going on here! Not sure how the owner sleeps at night knowing how many people he has given the Shaft to. They would weld the doors shut if half the people knew about the things they were charged for and never installed. A mistake is understandable but when you intentionally tune a car to sound cammed to cover up the fact a cam was not installed that speaks volumes about the integrity of this shop and the people that work there.

HP Dyno night was a great success! Lots of great cars, very clean shop. Excellent staff.

Had 16 SS procharged and longtube headers install about a year ago. Parts that I paid for were not installed. The tune was horrible. I loved the car before I took it to HP and shortly after I got it back from their shop.......and $11k poorer, I wanted to sell it. I regret ever letting them touch it. I sure hope the new management is going to do things differently over there......with different people. FB County DA should take a look into the old mgmt.

Upgrades arent complete as of yetWell finally got all the mods working together as one unit. Rey Rey had to be very patient to build this camaro ss B.K.A CHVYMAC. My build goals are completed and running good. Best believe we ran into alot of road block, but we knocked them down to complete this build. Were setting around 800rwhp.

I had a tune attempted there, they charged me $650 and my car lost power and threw codes. I have tried to get it returned multiple times but the tuner never comes to work. I paid someone else to tune it. Everyone there seems to have a substance abuse problem, they are high as a kite
