I dread furniture shopping and decided to stop at Katy Furniture because I would pass it on my way to he gym. I came at the right time and got the perfect salesperson, Lidia. She asked what I was looking for, explained the layout of the store, and gave me space to browse. Her timing was perfect as far as checking in on me. She answered any questions and encouraged me to take pictures. When I told her that I would continue shopping around, she didnt do the typical what do I have to do to earn your business today? That was big because I came back 2 days later and made my purchase and also bought a CBD pillow. I would definitely recommend you give Katy Furniture a chance and ask for Lidia!
I went in to look around and had the pleasure of speaking with Jonathan. He showed me around to look for a bedroom frame. He was very knowledgeable and I found some great pieces. I didn’t end up purchasing since I couldn’t make up my mind but I will definitely go back.
The selection was very broad and the prices were much better than Gallery Furniture and Rooms To Go. The sales person, Chase, was friendly and actually helpful with helping us find items on the floor based on a tag number and picture I had taken on a previous visit nearly two weeks ago . It was a pleasant experience overall.

Worst Place to Buy even a piece of wood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I order my furniture and they deliver it but the TV stand is messed up like the door doesnt close, there are gaps in the tv stand.So, I requested to get it fixed but no one responded to me from Katy furniture so I registered a complaint through BBB, and then finally they responded that they will get it fixed by end of September 2021. But today is October 6th, 2021 still havent seen anyone and they arent picking up the call as usual. And the main thing is the salesperson in Richmond location are worst. They dont care for customers. Worst customer service too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wished I would have spent my dollars on a good furniture company rather than wasting this on Katy Furniture LLC. This guys are scammers !!!!!!!!! SCAMMERRRSSSSSS SCAMMERSS
We were surprised by how much of the styles in this store we really liked and ended up getting more than we even walked in for! Dany, our sales rep, was also great and helped make everything quick and easy.
Katy Furniture will never earn my business as long as they post an infringement on my 2nd Amendment rights on their front window. Any company willing to deny my right to protect myself (under 2A and HB1927) does not deserve my business. I will use their showroom to collect item info so I can order elsewhere.

Poor customer service including management. I was trying to purchase new, however if only available piece of furniture is the one in the showroom, sales & management intend to sell floor models as new, same pricing while furniture has dings and scratches. Memorial Day holiday pricing was actually higher compared to days prior. I would rather purchase somewhere else, where I’m actually valued as a customer.
The sales guy said if you can get it cheaper elsewhere, go right ahead. We dont negotiate price. So we did and we got it yesterday 04/14/2021. Katy furniture was giving me a delivery of 05/2021. We are very happy with our beautiful furnitre that WE NEGOTIATED
Very poor customer service. My sales person Polina have a zero customers services, very unprofessional. I came back to make a purchase for a second time and i found the bedroom set that we like but unfortunately they did not have the color in KING then we request for another color and that the price is lower and she said the price have increase. OMG we have to walk out of the store her manner of approach and body countenance was horrible

***DID NOT HONOR THE PROMOTIONAL 12 MONTHS NO INTEREST!**I had a great experience purchasing our bedroom set from Katy furniture while in the store. We purchased our merchandise in the beginning of June and were moving into our home Jul 1st. We were told the chest we wanted was on backorder, but should be in by then. If not, soon after. Well after our purchase was made, the service was terrible! It took months to get our chest. They NEVER called us with an update, we had to keep calling them. Finally they call and say the chest we ordered was no longer available, we had to accept one that was similar from a different manufacturer. Keep in mind, they had already delivered the remainder of the set. That was whatever. We had 12 months no interest on our purchase. I signed into pay my account in January and noticed that the promotional period was ending. I called Synchrony and they said no worries this happens all of the time, we will contact the merchant and have it corrected. I received a letter shortly after saying they were unable to honor the 12 month promotional period, due to the merchants error! Luckily it was a short time difference and I chose to just pay it off early. This is a ridiculous way to do business. Selling items you dont have. Not even apologizing for it or offering and retribution for having mix matched pieces, then promising a buyer 12 months no interest and not honoring it! I have never in my life had a company mislead me on financing in this nature. I am so saddened, because I loved the selection here, but it is not worth the hassle, lies or lack of service after they have your money. Steer clear, especially if you are thinking about a promotional financing option.

Very nice store and quality to dollar was the best Ive seen. I really liked that they werent pushy and let me do my own thing. Nothing pushes me out of a store faster than someone following me around and trying to get my info. Keep up the good work. Youll be seeing me in about 2 months again to grab a bedroom set

Was supposed to deliver on Friday but did not and never called about rescheduling the delivery. I called 4 times for update and each time went to voice mail!!Still waiting on my furniture I wish at least they could call and let me know the time for I can schedule my day around it! Addendum to earlier message just went to store and now they put off delivery until April the 1st!! What a big difference between expected delivery on the March 19th and now April 1st !! I paid an extra hundred for delivery and it is still almost 2 weeks away!! I urge everybody to go to Gallery Furniture at least they are reliable on delivery date!! I am very angry and Katy Furniture lost all my future business !!!

Horrible customer service, there’s a woman with short blonde hair who watched us for literally 5 mins before greeting & actually offered the bare minimum of help due to her poor customer service i decided not to even buy the table because I was so turned off by the customer service. I went across the street with exclusive furniture and got above & beyond service & found the same table Katy furniture had. They should be ashamed with their service.
Wow not sure why I didn’t listen to the reviews! Why have product online if it’s not available so you let your customers spend thousands online to get a phone call saying you don’t have the product! So take my money and don’t deliver on product which is exactly what every other comment said!

It’s simple listen and learn:1) customer pays for item, if available you ship.2)Customer pays and warehouse doesn’t have YOU REFUND not steal their money. Don’t put this in COVIDWas at the payment desk and was told my selection of table was not available. I was purchasing multiple sets of items. And was told they won’t issue a refund if they cannot get the item in stock and would be stuck purchasing an item they have. Complete garbage policy. You lost your sale due to your unfair policy because you can’t get your supplies right
Although there were several employees at the store, only one sales associate was running around greeting guests. She did check on us several times while we were looking at all of the living room sets, but it didn’t seem like she really had time to talk to us about our needs or whims.We did find two that we were going to think about but after reading the reviews about the inefficiency of safeguarding privacy regarding identity information and the damages during a delivery and installation- AND the vanilla, standard, non responsive-almost-dismissive reply from the company, I’m hesitant to make my purchase here. Unless I process my order online and enlist personal assistance to deliver. Then again, thst can’t happen because during a search at the site, this product was not found ...
Called multiple times the cosmtomer service regaring broken parts in my furniture because of the delivery guys. Unfurtunately, I was always placed on hold. And still calling for 2 months and no response.Once you pay for the furniture they change the way they deal with one
Initially I was very happy with this store. They had a wide selection of modern furniture which was exactly what I was looking for my new home. The staff was very helpful and eager to help me find ideal pieces for my home and even called other stores to help me find exactly what I needed. The layaway plan was very flexible and worked great from me as I was not quite ready to move into my home. I went to the Richmond store to make my final payment and set up delivery and was told I owed over $400 more than what my receipt stated. Their POS software is not very user friendly and will create incorrect calculations on payments. I was also give a very long delivery date. I called to fine a formal complaint and no one returned my call I had to be the on to call and would constantly get the run around. I am still awaiting a call and delivery time. It is sad because I would have recommended this store highly and made purchases again but I will not. Be very wary that if you try to ask for a refund, you will be charged 25% of your purchase. If that wasnt the case I would have returned my entire purchase. If I could have given a zero star, I would. This is unacceptable.
We were looking for a specific set of bedroom furniture which was not available in Ashley nor any other local stores, we met Ronnie who was very accomodating when we visited enquiring about the said product. We were given good advise to wait and come back once available instead of payin up front. It took amost 3 months but when we called last Jan 2021 it was available and Crystal was very helpful facilitating what we wanted.The price we got was reasonable, and delivery was within 2 days.We had a call to confirm on the day of delivery, the delivery guys were respectful and prompt. When we saw something wrong with the product, a replacement was delivered within the hour.We have nothing but good experience with Katy Furniture in Richmond, and i say this not because we were paid to do so or friends with the manager etc. This is just an experience worth sharing because they deserve the 5 stars here.
Ordered 2 Stanley night stands last May 2020. 2 knobs for the bottom drawer on one of the nightstands missing. Up to now almost 1 year didnt hear from them. I reported to BBB didnt even respond.
If there was less than one star, I would definitely rate it less. They have terrible customer service, sales representative are crooks and will not tell you the exact time items will arrive or lie to you and still tell you that you there is nothing they can do. It is the unapolegetic lies for me. So here is my mission for every colleague, friend or family I would tell them how terrible they are... I have only e recently relocated to the Houston area. A relative of mine transported me to the Katie location in Katy Texas for me to look at some furniture I did purchase some furniture and was ready to move into a new residence here in Houston and the contract negotiations fail through and now we have the pandemic issue so I contacted your store and spoke with Jackie at the Katie furniture in Katie Texas. She was very personable she was professional she was knowledgeable and patient with my questions and sought to make sure that she answered every customer service question or issue that I had. She told me about another location that I could also go to. I am grateful for the customer experience I had With Jackie. I commend her for an excellent customer rapport .
My step mom was going to buy a chest and they told her the price would be $100 more unless she paid with cash or debit card, plus $75 for delivery. She lives literally half a mile away. We wont be back.

I wont ever shop at this place again! I recently purchased a sectional (feb 23, 2019) and saw there was damage to one of the consoles of the sectional. Before i purchased the sectional i asked the sales person who was helping me could the console be repaired, she said yes, i bought it (receipt/my paper work cleary stated that i requested for the console to be repaired) and when it was delivered the console had not been repaired. I contacted them about the console and when they got back to me they told me that there was nothing they could do and floor models are sold as is. Well why the hell was i told that it would be repaired if in fact they knew they would not repair the sectional? Even the sales person that helped me gave me the run around about it when she was the one who said it would be repaired before the sectional was delivered.. That is very f**ked up & highly unprofessional. I did not spent 1,200 on a sectional to have a console that is caved in. & still today (3-18-19) nothing has been said or done.. Smh horrible place & genuine con artists!! 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Im not going to this place again, they need to learn how customer service works with millennials. I went in with my family wanted to get some furniture for several rooms for out new house and we were greeted when walked in-- cool i like it. Then polina ask us what were looking for we told her were just looking. But polina follows us thru the entire store me and my wife couldnt have a conversation, every portion of the store she followed us and kept asking us questions. It got so bad soon as she got distracted we picked up our kids and literally had to run from her. Soon as we thought we were safe she popped up again asking more questions and kept following us we were so uncomfortable and upset we went down stairs took our kids and left. Millennials are a self sufficient and doesnt not want or need hands on customer service we do not need to be followed around the entire store. Chances are we already looked up everything on the website and know what we were looking for. Please learn our customer service profile, not everyone is comfortable or want that aggressive approach.

No one in the store to assist. When I finally was able to get assistance, the rep wanted me to take a picture of what I wanted then bring it to show her. Ordered the furniture in middle of June. Was supposed to be delivered July 11th. Never received they dont call to update you. Called to get a refund. Manager never available and they dont call back. Very unprofessional and poor service. Notice on these reviews they only reply to reviews they like.

Very disappointed . My daughter found a great deal on a bedroom suit . I broke our curio cabinet so came here to find a good deal. I found what I wanted but they no longer had it in stock . They were willing to sell me the floor model at the same price as the one in a box . Polonia went online and said look how much is elsewhere, so I put a curio exactly like it online, her response well than buy it online . Originally I had 5 stars, but with my most recent experience with this company has made me a little uneasy. Ordered 2 end tables. Drove over 30 minutes to pick them up. Get home to put them together and one box does not have the correct parts for the table. I call customer service over 10 times and finally someone answered. Extremely unprofessional in the way she spoke. They tell me they will contact me within 24-48 hours to fix it. Never heard from them. I call again 3 days after my original pick up date and they tell me the manager will have to contact me back. Very aggravating.
I placed an order on August 2 and was told that I would receive it in 7-14 days. Two weeks later, I called to check on the shipment status and was told that it wouldnt be in until the end of September...unacceptable. When I requested a refund, I was told there was a no refund policy. After speaking to a supervisor she informed me that my furniture would be in before the end of August. Then I called around the 19th to check on the status and was told that the table and chairs were in, but the bench wasnt in yet. I paid a delivery fee of $100 but was told that it wouldnt be delivered until September 9th. So, I went to pick up my furniture, but was told that Id be contacted once the bench came in. I called today, since no one contacted me, and was told that my bench was in. No one contacted me for any of my furniture, but the furniture was paid in full in cash. I still have $100 credit because of the delivery fee, but Im gonna charge it to the game. I dont want anything to do with Katy Furniture again. I understand COVID had a lot to do with it, but communication is key to having good customer service. No communication means theyve lost a customer
The sales lady Caroline was friendly but the cashier below the younger one with long hair was very dry and rude at the desk. They have great furniture and nice place, but in order to have repeat and satisfied customers you need t be more hospitable and friendly not just the sales person also the one checking customers out. Tell her to smile and be more friendly than getting annoyed cuz we asked how long our table needs to be assembled.
Carolina was EXCELLENT!!!! Even the lady checking me out was super friendly and professional. This was my first time I will definitely be back. I was in and out of the store in like 10 minutes flat yes I knew exactly what I wanted. She took me to the item let me see it made sure it was what I wanted set up up my pick up and I paid for it!!!!
While I have read some good reviews on in store visits, I can only base my rating on the attempted phone service. Each call to the store (during business hours and after the holidays) was unsuccessful because when selecting the sales & customer service prompts, I was inevitably routed back to the main recording. Hopefully this post will reach management in an effort to correct the possible telecom issue.
Katy Furniture has a wide variety of styles of furniture and accessories. The service is top notch. The staff are friendly and helpful. I found a few pieces that I purchased and love there. The prices are great. You just have to go and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Oh my gosh. It was my first time to the Katy furniture store in Richmond Texas. I have to say it was the greatest customer I have ever received at a furniture store. This one lady Carolina was awesome!!! If it wasn’t for Carolina I would’ve never met someone so awesome at a furniture store!!! She need to be a Gm!!! The furniture prices are great if you can pay cash. DO NOT FINANCE with them. We had to take out another loan to pay of there loan because if we hadnt we would have payed 7000 dollars more on a 4900 dollar loan.

Very nice furniture place, love all the things you have.I rate them with 2 stars because it does not seem fair that I bought a dining set this morning and for wanting to make a bench change they charge me a penalty, I have not even received the dining room, maybe is still in their store! I understand that they do it when it has already passed a time and use, but in this case it is not acceptable.

She was very knowledgeable, on both days, and had great suggestions, when I was trying to decide on my purchases. She deserves full credit for both purchases!

Poling was our salesperson and she gets 5+ stars. She was kind, caring, personable and patient. It was no pressure sales experience which was nice as well. I understand completely about cash or debit being a discounted price, however the business does not offer electronic checks which is necessary for some. On this occasion I was shopping for a family member who physically was unable to shop. I had their Visa card and a signed check, neither of which were of use in getting the cash price since checks are not accepted. Had to go to the bank, cash a check for the amount of purchase and return to the store to finalize the purchase. Also, showroom items should be sold at a slightly discounted price, which is not allowed. We did not want to wait 6-8 weeks for one table to come in and pay a second delivery cost so we bought the showroom table which had a couple of small scratches and any discount was refused per the business office. If not for Polina, I seriously would have walked out on a couple of occasions. I give four stars because the business offers a good selection with reasonable prices and, of course, Polina being such a wonderful and helpful person.
Thanks to the delivery young men Mayweather and Jlann I am a satisfied customer. I had been waiting patiently for my furniture for two months due to the Pandemic which I had to continue to call the store for the status on when my order would arrive. On the day of the delivery I cleared my schedule only to have the delivery arrive late. I recieved a call from the delivery men saying they were having issues with their truck and would be right over which put me at ease. Upon arrival Mayweather continued to extend his apologizes. These young men worked expeditiously with expediting the setup and even cleaned up behind themselves once they were done. Before leaving they made sure I was pleased with the placement of the furniture as well. I want to extend the FOUR STARS to them for all of their hard work with having to deal with the public and heat. I must say that my in store experence was not as great as my delivery experience. Thank you so much Mayweather and Jlann for making my day! Job well done!!
Would not buy anything from this store. Bought a bed set and they had everything but the bed in stock so they said they would order a bed and have it in 2-3 weeks. I called the 3rd week and they said they had the bed but are now waiting on nightstands. Just called again on the 4th week and they said they are waiting on the bed and night stands and that they may not have it until at least september. Terrible customer service, will shop elsewhere. STAY AWAY!

If there was a zero star rating, I would give this place, Katy Furniture a zero star.Buyers beware, the furniture sold in this store is very cheaply made. “you get what you pay for” & I will not ever shop at Katy Furniture again.The sectional that I purchased was stuffed with feathers & the feathers stick out of the cushions.Manager Tiffany refused to issue a store credit so that I could switch it out for another sofa. She informed me that allsales are final. I informed her that the sectional was cheaply made, that the feathers should be have been wrapped in a type of covering where the feathers would not poke out to the fabric. She still refused.BEWARE OF BUYING YOUR FURNITURE AT KATY FURNITURE!!! ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THEIR FURNITURE IS MADE IN CHINA. I COULD NOT FIND THE MATERIAL TAG ON THE SECTIONAL, THERE IS A TAG LAW IN TEXAS WHICH THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD ATTACH TO THE FURNITURE STATING WHAT TYPE OF MATERIAL WAS USED.
I bought furniture from the richmond store in march and they said they would deliver and assemble. They did, but the bed set had a defect and i was told by the guy that came to assemble it that i should call in the morning and talk to customer service about the defect, i did. the lady i did told me to send an email to the store to have them call me and plan to address it. I did and since March 23 2020, they have not replied my email or contacted me. i resent the email again and i got only the generic auto reply and nobody has replied to me till today. it is horrible that your company cannot take the appropriate step to rectify my concerns for fixing the bed. Shame on your accountability for what was told to me in the store and by the delivery man about addressing any issues that i may have. SHAME.
Well went in to see the store in Richmond location. Decided to buy a dining table... mr Ronnie was all nice until you say yes on buying an item. His demeanor changed... after he sent us to pay for the items he gave the lady the sales slip He did not say a damn word! Just walked off.... so he apparently put the wrong code for the bench we bought. Went to the original location to pick up the items... that was another screw up... The company as a whole might want to go talk to Mattress Mack and take notes! Gallery furniture is far ahead in customer service vs Katy Furniture.. most likely will not buy again...90% sure of it.....

Polina helped me. She was very professional, and fast. Thats what i enjoyed, because i didnt have much time. The young ladies in finance were very professional, and friendly. One of the young ladies helped me get back home. I was turned around and she took her time and wrote me directions. They have awesome retro furniture and real Hollywood styles. Everything was so beautiful from mirrors, to plants, and bars! Our salesgirl Krystle gave us our space, wasnt pushy, and was so professional !

Very friendly place to shop. I was greeted at the door by 3 employees one of the was the store manager. I was assisted immediately. I was in and out in about 30 minutes.
Dont like their smile when you come to buy stuff from them but see how their faces turn when you come to complain about the damage in the furnishings or the house. Dear customer, you should know that they are not responsible for any damage caused by the installation of furniture in your home. I have to pay $ 550 to repair the floor at home because of the damage they did when they brought the furniture in my house and refused to compensate me for anything. They said they are not responsible for it. and I had to dealing with rude customer service ever you can see and kissed their hand for 3 weeks to send somebody to fix the furniture . If you want to pay cash money to get an damage furnishings and damage in your house then go to Katy Furniture
