I’ve been going here a lot more due to the exclusive funko pops they receive. And let me say they Victoria(I believe that’s her name) who I believe is the store manager, she runs it well. When new pops come out, usually there’s a line that forms. And though her method of controlling the line is something so simple, it works. I’ve never had a problem finding what I need and have almost always walked out with something new.

Please hire some grownups to work here, these children are not helpful. My girlfriend was trying some outfits on and literally I stepped in for a minute and they are knocking talking about one person in the dressing room, she didnt want to step out with some other man standing there able to look at her. She has modesty but I guess that doesnt matter anymore in this world. Everyone wants everything hanging out like these children do. Dont bring in young children its not age appropriate for young kids because of they way they dress here

I have shopped here for years. The salesperson was great. But the cashier needs to have retraining. She rings me out and lets me know my total. I then informed her I got a coupon from my online order I had received. She says okay and then I see her rip the coupon. Tells. E the same total from the first time. I asked what about my coupon and all she said that it didnt qualify because I had the buy one shirt get the second 50% off. She DIDNT INFORMED ME ABOUT THIS BEFORE SHE RIPPED THE COUPON. I had never encountered a cashier were she didnt give a customer the choice to be able to use the coupon on this transaction or use it for future purchase. The expiration date was in January. On top of that I had a coupon to EARNED Hot cash and without reading it assumed that I was trying to use it as Hot Cash. It will be a long time before I go to that Store

I have always liked hot topic. Im pretty borring. I wear button up shirts and khaki pants with tennis shoes. You know booooooring. I can escape my square life for a few seconds and buy a black printed t-shirt and a few funco pop figures or many other pop culture iconic items. I try not to flirt too much with the cute goth girls that are always in one of these shops but it can be hard. The place is typically chillaxed when I go in even when slammed with business. Pretty much the same experience at every mall in a good way.

Walked in just to look at tshirts. Wasn’t thinking of purchasing anything. Saw a couple shirts and Steven helped assist! He was very helpful and kind ! I walked out purchasing two shirts thanks to him! I’ll def be back this store has great customer service!!

They were very helpful, my boys went in know just what they wanted and the sales associate told them right where to find it. They also made a very stressful shopping day...having to wait to get in and not being able to try clothes on, a little easier. They did alway them to try on Jeans and were super friendly while we waited to get in.

I have never experienced poor customer service from a store manager! The store manager was very rude to me and my husband she gave us an attitude and we were asking for a simple request. Stephanie had to come to us to apologize for her store managers actions and reassured us that she will properly take care of us and are needs she was very kind to us. I do not feel comfortable shopping around when the store manager is their I never got her name but she is short with blue hair. Stephanie gave us great service and even helped out my child and I’m very grateful for her making us feel welcomed.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. I was doing some shopping for Christmas on Black Friday, and even though they were very busy they still managed to help me with all of my needs. The store was clean and everything was easy to find. I was only a little sad that they dont go any higher than 2X in their shirts in-store, as I have several family members who love their stuff but dont fit into those sizes. Still, overall a good experience.

Not like it used to be

Stopped in because I havent been inside of a Hot Topic since I was 16. Ended up finding a few cute little Christmas gifts for family and friends. The cashier asked for my rewards which I didnt know if it would still be active after so long. Surprisingly it was & the cashier notified me I had enough points to get $5 off my purchase. That was a very pleasant experience, I can see why yall have stayed in business for so long. Thanks for the little perk too!

The clearance section has gems if youre willing to dig through the racks for a bargain. The body jewelry cabinet is small but theres plain and decorative items alike. The staff are laid back and polite.

I wish I could give this place less than one star. Reason being that the store manager Ronnie had treated my 12 year old sister and mother with such little respect. The store manager was yelling at my mother saying that only one person could be in the dressing room, but before that the other employee said it was no problem that she could be in there since it was her daughter. Ronnie blew the situation out of proportion and caused a big scene for no reason while threatening to open the dressing room even if my little sister was dressed or not. She said I am going to open this door if you dont step out right now !!! to my mother. As my mother came out she was horribly greeted by an angry store manager yelling from the top of her lungs that she doesnt care if my sister was my mothers daughter. I am not sure what the polices are at Hot Topic, but yelling at customers for no reason is definitely not one of them. This situation ruined everybodys night for my family and we will NEVER visit this location again.

Over all I really like this store, it’s a little expensive and doesn’t have many pants but the costumer service is great and have never had a problem with the staff the many times I’ve gone there. Plus, as a bonus they have good music playing all the time

I never new hot topic would hire a racist, I came in to buy stuff for myself and after I got everything I needed the cashier told me I dont look like I can afford this much items, I told her why and she glared at me up and down . Items cost about $1,300 and I even showed her my money. She rolled her eyes at me. I left with my money and left the store because I didnt want to end up arguing in public. Her name is Stairla Groad . Hopefully Hot Topic can manage to have better Employs before they get sued or worse.

I love this place for the items variety of stuff they have, but I hate the companies no holds on pops policy and I even more hate the policy of how many pops people can buy because if you are the first person in line you could easily go buy all the limited pops and put them up for sale which sucks on my end as a collector everyone should have a chance to get an item not just 1 person. They have their personal credit card and are sister stores with torrid & box lunch. I also dont like their coupon and sale policy especially if you get the coupon from the credit card people and I will get emails from their company for $ 5. Off but it will not reflect in the store and they will not honor it cause it doesnt show in the system, and ordering ship to store takes awhile sometimes. Staff is friendly as well as mgr. But I have seen them act stupid as well so take that how you would, but mostly friendly. Their t-shirts are usually on sale but they are expensive for what they are you can sometimes get the same shirt cheapier online, but they do price match their online prices if you show them the online price so thats good.
