This Dollar Tree was one of the first I had been in that had items over $1. Those were clearly marked, I was still impressed! Store was tidy and staff was friendly. The item selection was great and Ill definitely return when Im in the area again!

What experience can you have if the store is closed and everything indicates that it is open. Google maps, the store front and even the lights are on. I went and pulled on both doors along with multiple other customers 30 minutes after the store was supposed to be open. I also called multiple times to find out what the issue was. But, no answer. Sorry, if I could rank it zero stars I would.

Good place but need more products

The one on Mason Road is much larger than the one off I-10, has wider isles and carries more items.

First visit was on a Monday - lots of empty spaces on shelves. The next day, saw lots of inventory going in. Not as many organizing items (bins, racks) as I had been led to believe Staff was helpful, positive & friendly. COVID measures were enforced.

Employee in charge got upset with me, raised his voice and was really rude in front of my kids. I wanted to exchange some items, their receipt says We will gladly exchange any unpened items with original receipt”. I bought extra items that I no longer need, he told me the Easter holiday passed and that he can no longer accept my items, even though I bought them the day before, items wear unopened and I had the original receipt. I pointed out what their policy said on the receipt and he told me to look at the information on their website... It is not my problem if the information they have on the receipts is not in agreement with the information on their website.

The staff is very friendly, the store is a little messy though

Wouldn’t expect anything when shopping here or any dollar tree for that matter. No matter what time you come, you can be guaranteed to have one cashier working and a long line of customers waiting. Must be a rule at corporate to only allow one cashier at a time, if you do see two it’s extremely rare. They should have a self check out, would sure be easier.

You always think you’ll “only” spend a couple of dollars and never happens!

This particular location is always extra messy . It feels dirty in the store. I like the chain and appreciate many of their deals.

I dont know what happened to this DT but the chaos in here is not even worth coming into this location. Seems this is happening to ALL the Katy DT.. The fry rd DT. The Mason rd DT. Now the Katy Mills location DT.. This is just 3 pics I could take before I walked right back out the store.

Everyone is always nice here at this Dollar Tree location! Actually, all of them that Ive shopped before everyone has been extremely nice and helpful! Especially during this time when people seem to be on edge! Its nice to have someone greet you with a smile, although you cant see it behind the masks! Lol! Its still nice to hear in their voice and see their eyes twinkle when they smile! 😊 I love going there and finding things that costs more in other stores and I find it for only $1!!! Thats always fun!!

The store had neither of the items I was searching for.

Just popped in about 8pm to grab a few DIY project items and the older woman (60+) at the register was the sweetest. Super kind and social. Made the short trip worth it!!

Store was incredibly rude to me and then yelled at a woman who primarily spoke Spanish to empty her basket. I definitely wont be back here. I had to hold my tongue. Absolutely disrespectful. I will be calling the owner of this location.

This Dollar Tree is under new management and I most certainly can see it. The aisles are clear and easily navigated. I love that any handicapped person may easily shop in this location!They are more than a typical dollar store. They have longer aisles and way more variety of needed items. Generally speaking, if I’m looking for that “one item” that I don’t want to go to a big chain for, I’m able to discover it here. Don’t waste time going to other discount stores in the area. Dollar Tree should have just about anything you’re searching for. This happens time again. I love it and appreciate it!Management and customer service skills are top notch. They know their store and can help give suggestions on where to find things if they don’t carry something. I’m always greeted with a smile. One can go a long way! I shop at this location for variety and overall customer care. I highly recommend stopping by this Dollar Tree!!

Some of the other dollar tree stores seem to be half empty. I hope the regional manager sees this. The other people in the store are wonderful also including Niki. Thanks so much for your hard work.

Havent been 2 this store in awhile for bad service plus not very good items but when I went today they actually had some good items and their customer service was great.

This location just recently got a new manager and he has done an amazing job with the store! Now its so organized, easy to navigate and shop. Great job!

Love paying $1 for the cleaning supplies

Everytime I go in this dollar store, it looks like the customers have been on a rampage. Items in disarray and shelves not fully stocked. I was looking for a certain size organizer and Damp Rid and they didnt have either.

This store does not enforce their own mask policy. There were several customers and even an employees not wearing a mask.The store is always cluttered with boxes in the aisle yet to be stocked. The check out line is always long.

I know this store has struggled for a while with stocking and keeping clean BUT when I walked in the other day it was like a brand new store. The ladies actually had help, the store was stocked and beautiful! Great job!

This Dollar Tree has struggled with organization in the past. However, on my visit today, I saw a fantastic improvement. Well stocked and items easy to find. Im honestly shocked by all the negative reviews theyre receiving. If I were in a wheelchair, Id have no issue shopping in this dollar store compared to all the others in the Katy area. However, the staff isnt very friendly. A simple smile would go a long way. Also, a thank you after check out.

This Dollar Tree has a good selection of things and they even have coupons! I bought almost everything I need for my baby shower here including the prizes for winners of games. This store had items other stores did not and it is very clean inside and courteous staff

I take my mom here to find fun deals and low prices on gift bags and all types of greeting cards. Holiday season can be a good time to get decorative items.

Location was unorganized and the staff were huddled up together talking instead of assisting the customers. I passed by 3 employees and not once was I acknowledged at all. They were very unprofessional as they were still talking amongst themselves while checking me out at the register. No hello to me or anything. I will not be returning to this location unless the staff changes.

We homeschool and I found tons of things for us! Great selection! However, everything was a jumbled mess. I had to dig quite a bit. All in all it was a successful shopping trip.

This place is absolutely horrifying. They have boxes in the middle of aisles as if the store was their warehouse. The floors look as if someone spat gum every few feet and bone has bothered to clean it in years. The store has a stench that is like a very rotund man sweating profusely in the summer without antiperspirant. Their product is cheap even by dollar store standards. Under no circumstances could I recommend this location for any product.

This is by far the worst Dollar Tree Ive ever walked into. Im going to try the one on Mason Road. There are heaps and HEAPS of merchandise stuffed all over the shelves. Many items are not in stock and if they are, theyre still in boxes in every single aisle. It was dirty and and completely unorganized. I was actually shocked walking in this past Sunday morning. Wont be returning.

Good store... nice variety... checkout is pathetic....probably there were 10 customers in line two counters open but the service ed super slow... took me 15 minutes to checkout

This store is absolutely DISGUSTING. All managment and workers need to be fired & they need to rehire people who can clean it up and run it the right way! It is a beautiful area.... Then you walk into this store and it looks like a bomb went off! Always piles upon piles of boxes waiting to be unloaded, you cant get threw the isles, it is horrendous to be honest. I do not know how they are able to keep the store in such poor conditions and not get in trouble with coorperate

Ive always loved going to Dollar Trees because they have always been super organized w a great selection. Not this location. There was sruff everyyyywhere. All over the floor, in all the isles, out of order. Empty shelves and everything out of order. It looked really dirty too. I wouldnt have thought itd be that way especially being in a newer shopping center. Only 1 check out person. =( Maybe its just Katy? Seems like a lot of stores here are super junked out for some reason.

This place is absolutely disgusting. Every shelf had items thrown around, torn, broken, out of place, and falling over on the floors where other items were trashed. It makes Rosss look like a palace on their worst day. Close this place down! Its PATHETIC!!!

They have a very very rude woman in there ringing people up when i got to the counter she exclaims just one of those days thats when i told her yes maam but customer service is #1. She tells me the customers are rude (she rang up probably 3 people before me, and she was rude to every single one of them even telling one woman to pick her basket back up and put it by the door when the woman had stacked it on a stack of baskets that were already there she gets mad and slings the baskets aginst the wall. Even before this while im shopping in the store the same associate had aggressively pushed a buggy into the store where i grabbed it before knocking over a display.) When i arrived at the counter a young woman behind me pointed out she was being rude and i agreed. So i told the woman i didnt think the customers were the problem but that she definitely was. That she was very rude. She didnt have on a name tag and i didnt ask her name or for her manager but i called coroporate and left a long detailed message and i hope they get this taken care of.

The place was a mess with boxes half open all over the place and in the way to the point that people had to move the boxes or stocking carts out of the way to get around. The stage thing was tons of boxes everywhere but no one around dealing with them.

Nasty place, looked like a tornado went through there, and very dirty. The management is the ones responsible for this and should reevaluate there job.
