Flavor and portions are great. The prices are fair as well. The service is also above average for a Chinese eatery and the staff is always friendly.Every single time I have eaten here I have received some sort of free appetizer simply as a thank you for dining in with them. I know its just a marketing tactic but its one I appreciate.
The food is amazing! We tried numerous things on the menu and we were pleased with everything! The service is great as well. Nice quiet atmosphere. Definitely will be back to try more things on the menu!
So I previously came here when Covid hit hard and this place was closed but I returned and I am so glad I did! The FOOD IS AMAZING, unfortunately I cannot say that for the attentiveness of the staff. The place is small inside but it has a good amount of seating areas and it is clean. We sat down pretty fast and the waiter did get or drink order fast but then he disappeared, he took our order and food was brought out pretty fast and then he disappeared again and didnt check on us. I had to get someone elses attention. When it came to the check they were fast to get the bill but not to check up on us, which I did not like and this is the reason I gave it a 4 stars and not a 5. The food on the other hand is definitely a 5!!! It was so delicious, full of flavors and very generous portions. The menu had a lot of items to choose from ! I will come again just for the food and hopefully the service is a bit better.
Absolutely delicious!! The xiaolongbao was excellent and the noodle soups are a must try. Everything came out very quickly and piping hot. Will be back soon!
The favor here is good. Ive only ever don take out which by the time I get home the experience is par but I feel like it would that much better if I ate there while everything is still hot and fresh. Overall a good place to eat!
We ordered the pork dumpling like things as an appetizer, first time trying them but they were good. They brought us free spring rolls, phenomenal! Then we had to try the beef noodle bowl and the brisket fried rice. It was our first time trying a noodle bowl, not bad. The fried rice with brisket, fabulous, we almost ordered more to go because it was that good! The service was attentive and incredibly polite even during after Church rush at noon on a Sunday.
Iβve always loved their soup dumplings here. Brought my 7 yo to try it out and it didnβt disappoint. Heβs a huge fan of it.
I would not come back here again. Our first time here and the first impression was not good. Our of 3 dishes we ordered, only 1 was actually good. There were about 4 staffs in that small restaurant but service was so slow. All the staffs in the front kept hanging around at the cashier section when we needed service. No one came back to check if we were doing alright. We actually had to get our own to go boxes at the counter because the staffs kept hanging out together at the cashierβs.
Was there for lunch today. I ordered pork soup dumplings, chicken fried rice, spicy wonton, sesame chicken, roasted pork noodle. Food was prepared pretty quickly after ordering. They gave us bonus stir fried green beans . I like the fried rice the most. The rest were pretty good too. Good portion reasonable price. Will come back to try other food on the menu
Where do I start?! Cold service, food was bland, brisket was tuff as hell, the Jazmine tea taste like water, they donβt serve honey for the tea & they were extremely stingy with the sauce!! π© The bathroom smelled like a sewer line and was dirty! They watched up eat so we couldnβt discuss the food, only give eye contact! π On top of that someone just posted a pic of a dead roach in their dumplings!! Iβm tooo sick π€’!! Thatβs it Iβm so over it, only sticking to what I know here on out!! π€
The food is very tasty. I always order delivery, the service is always very good.
We raced to get here before they closed. We got there 20 minutes before close and we were still welcomed in and were allowed to enjoy our delicious food without feeling rushed at all. My man and I love this place. We stop here first on our way into Houston any chance we get. The food is amazing even 2 days latter in the hotel it tastes great. The service is fabulous. Its truly a hidden gem.
Came during lunchtime on Monday and it was not busy so seating and getting our food was quick. Not too expensive, and you get a lot of good tasting food. The customer service is pretty good, everyone seems friendly.. nice restaurant overall
Ive had Tiger Noodle House twice and both times were really good. This time I had the Dry Fried Squid with Chili Flakes which were very flavorful and not too spicy. They werent chewy which is great but the breading wasnt my favorite. The Seafood Stir Fried Noodles have great flavor and would definitely get them again - I wouldve liked more vegetables but thats okay. The Crispy Shrimp Rolls had a great texture and had a nice but lighten crunch. My preferred Asian restaurant in town.
Came in here with my boyfriend for the first time ! Tried the spicy wontons, garlic broccoli & chicken xialongbao and EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! The food was so delicious, the staff was super friendly hank was our server and he was awesome definitely coming back
They are located across from the CiCis Pizza. You might not notice them unless you wre looking for them, but the food is definitely something to take note of.We tried a variety of everything. The soup dumplings were great. In addition the staff is very friendly and attentive. The tables are spacious enough to fit 6 guests comfortably. Its in a strip center, so parking is plentiful. I suggest trying the pan sticker sauce.
1st visit The tiger house hot soup should come with a warning label, its so spicy. The fried rice was the best I have had.2nd visit. Dan dan noodles was just oily, and really no flavor, the Mongolian beef was the worse I have had, the onions were not cooked the meat looked like it was boiled all you tasted was cilantro. The spring rolls was the best part. Our first visit was enjoyable, but this round very disappointed.
Got super painful food poisoning a few hours later after eating their xiaolongbao and some fried noodles. thought it tasted alright at the restaurant but boy oh boy was i wrong.
Tried Tiger Noodle House tonight. Had Mapo Tofu, Poached Beef, and Dan Dan Noodles. I liked the Poached Beef the best. I didnt like that right off the bat they thought I couldnt handle spice. I had asked about their tiger hot and was told you dont want that, which is kind of annoying. Food was good, Id go back again.
If youre looking for a Chinese restaurant, Tiger Noodle House should be top on your list. The food is delicious, service top notch, and prices cant be beat.
I donβt recommend this place, it was extremely salty. Donβt spend your money here. This used to be my favorite place for Asian food, but lately the quality hasnβt been as great. I wish it was as fresh as it used to be.
The Mongolian beef was ok compared to what Ive had in Korea Town in Los Angeles. I expecting more garlic in the dish. The soup dumplings were ok compared to what Ive had in New York, not enough soup inside and the dumplings fell apart really easily. The dim sum was pretty yummy and the sauce they served it with went well with it. I gave this restaurant 3 stars because although I wasnt impressed with the food, the service was great (the staff works well together), the food came out quickly and the waiter was pretty helpful! I will come back to try the noodles.
Ive had this place bookmarked for awhile now and then I saw an article with this place listed so after going to the interactive photo experience, we decided to make the drive up to Katy to give it a go! Located in a strip mall, there was lots of parking spots which is always a plus. The place was actually pretty busy around 5:30! I guess lots of people eat dinner early on a Sunday evening cause there was a wait at one point while we were seated. Luckily we got there before the rush!We initially sat at a small table for 2 but ordered so much they told us to switch to a larger table after the first 2-3 courses came out! LOL! I wish they wouldve moved us before the food came out! Pretty hilarious! We got moved to a booth and the restaurant staff was very apologetic about it. No big deal! We wanted to try a ton of things! :)We ordered:* Xiao Long Bao aka Soup Dumplings - one of the main reasons I came here in the first place based on photos! Ive been looking for good soup dumplings in Houston for awhile now and theyve been a bit disappointing. These ones have really good flavor - almost on par with some of my favorite soup dumplings from Din Tai Fung but they fall short on the amount of soup inside! Juicy but not as soupy as they should be! The wrap also stuck to each other and broke before I could pick one up with my chopsticks. Not the thin jiggly skin that I wouldve liked to see! 4/5 for flavors!*Spicy Wontons - they were exactly what you would imagine them to be! Good, nothing spectacular to rave about here! 3/5*Pork Belly Rice - I thought the meat was good, not as tender as Id like to see.. the flavors were ok. I think the five spice flavors was overwhelming. I also expected pickled veggies but this dish was served with a cabbage. Not my favorite pork belly rice. 2/5*Dry Beef Noodles - I really liked the flavors in this dish! The beef was tender and the noodles were perfectly cooked. They almost tasted fresh and home made. 5/5*Beef Rolls - I think this dish was filled with meat! So if you like your protein, this is packed with it! The flavors were good but the wrap was soggy on the bottom - too soggy that they fell apart! I want to see more of a crispiness to the rolls and a better meat to wrap ratio! 2/5*Dried Fried Green Beans with Pork - The Green Beans were good and I liked them. They were just a bit over cooked so almost too soft. 4/5The restaurant was clean and the wait staff was friendly. They brought what you asked for but not necessarily quick about it. They did bring us a dish on the house, which was very nice of them to do! It was a sweet and sour pork dish with bamboo shoots and wood-ear mushrooms. It was good and a pleasant surprise. Overall, good place - not the best Ive had but I would come back if I was in the area - especially for their soup dumplings and dry beef noodles!
The noodles were tender and the broth so flavorful. Definitely my go to when Im craving good authentic noodles.
A place that can satisfy ones craving for authentic Asian food. The place is relatively busy which is understandable since they have a wide array of choices to choose from. Each service can be shared with your companion. Price is reasonable as well. Definitely recommended. They are so generous that they provided us a dish on the house.
Neverβd heard of this restaurant before today monday July 26th 2021 I came here for the first time ordered the orange chicken it came out theres broccoli on the side one of my broccoli had a long piece of hair on it whatever didnβt eat the broccoli the sauce on the chicken is good itβs crispy but the chicken meat is dry how dry it is I have to keep drinking my cup of sprite to take that dry taste out of my mouth I rate this restaurant a 3/5 orange chicken is decent should have been better
If you love Barbacoa then this specific locationβs special barbacoa fried rice is a must! It is so delicious. We ventured out a bit and ordered the Spicy Poached Fish and were so glad we did. Itβs a very flavorful and unique dish. The quality and quantity in every dish is fantastic. The prices are just as great. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful.
The Chinese food here is authentic and amazing. We love it!!
Came here based on other reviews and other photos I saw on Google and I am glad it did not disappoint! What you seen on the photos is what you will get and it also taste good which is always a bonus. Both my kids really enjoyed it and ate all the green beans, the dan Dan noodles, as well as, half the kids sesame chicken. The only thing I wasnt keen on was the sesame chicken. I felt it was very Americanize and a bit too sweet. The rest was a bit americanize but still good. The sweet eggplant wasnt too sweet and the eggplant was very fresh. Hopefully next time they will have the Tiwanise sausage rice bowl and I would like to see how spicy the food can go.Overall it is very good and defintely recommend to come try.
Always a good place for different options for family gatherings.
Amazing. Ordered online via their website for pickup. Tiger Fried Rice was awesome. Very fresh and moist. Beef and chicken pot amazing. Spicy! Large portion as well.
WORST Chinese EVER. Even Panda Express has better Chinese. Mongolian Beef was stringy, chewy like they used entrails and it was virtually uncooked. Bland, nearly tasteless. Ordered 4 dishes and ALL were awful. Soggy Sesame Chicken. Then they used the old Subway Sandwich Shop trick; use lots of vegetables (that are cheaper than ACTUAL MEAT) and make it APPEAR that you have a large serving size. Spent $50 on food not worthy of a dog.
I have been waiting for this place to open for months. It was always a tease to drive by the store front. But now its finally here. The decor is a bit plain but its not a art gallery so not to worried about that. This is my 2nd visit. Backing up to my first time, I ordered spicy beef noodle soup and green onion pancake. The soup came out cold and when asked if I could have hot soup served they brought it out in less than a min. Heated with microwave. Only the top of the soup was warm. That truly left a bad taste in my mouth for a freshly opened restaurant to have that low of standards already. Also for you spicy lovers. If you are wanting a spicier broth you have to pay more. Which I think is a bit ridiculous for chilli oil, there are 3 levels and each I believe is a $2 increment.. Maybe bring your own chili oil to mix in lol.Oh and the green onion pancakes were bomb. Flavorful and the garlic soy sauce was just perfect.2nd visit!Ordered the same thing spicy noodle soup and wanted the green onion pancakes but was told that is no longer available on the menu. The menu is shaping up to cater towards the American crowd. When this place initially opened with the menu it seemed more of a authentic Chinese restaurant. It is unfortunate they are catering to the crowd.Back to the food, the soup actually came out steamy and the broth was more flavorful than the first time. They have 2 noodle options but they seem to be identical but a dollar difference.Overall this place has room for improvements but willing to give it another shot.
Disappointed in our meal (Sesame Chicken & Beef Pot). Plenty of food, but quality & flavor was lacking.
Great destination for authentic Chinese food. Dont visit if your idea of good Chinese food is General Tso Chicken. Plenty of both spicy and mild dishes available. Service is incredible and they will take the time to explain everything to you, since for many visitors this is their first existence with authentic Chinese food. Every dish Ive tried has been exceptional but my personal favorites are the Dan Dan Noodles and any of the spicy pots. The Tiger Roll is a must try.
Having just moved back from Malaysia Ive been on the hunt for a decent Chinese food place. I have found many places full of MSG and greasy. Thank goodness I found Tiger Noodle House. Its fresh and authentic and DELICIOUS. Please do yourself a favor and go check it out. They even had cute little plates for my 2 year old and were very accommodating with our kids.
Once again disappointed with Asian take out . Pretty bland but this is the big complaint . Fried rice is made with day old white rice, then cooked with spices, vegetables, meat etc. Never ever mix with steamed white rice and call it fried ! I understand that if you have never had good Asian food it is hard to compare.
I never write reviews but after I left this restaurant I absolutely had to. This is by far the best authentic Chinese food Ive ever had. Everything is fresh, I had the spicy beef and it was phenomenal! All of the different spices wow. Customer service was great, overall my experience was wonderful I will be back to try the spicy fish!! Keep up the great work.
Fantastic food, good service, and fair prices. Truly worth a visit!
I donβt recommend this place, I ordered a tofu mango and it was extremely salty. The three times I gave theme a chance was not good extremely salty. Donβt spend your money here.
So....Im not one to post comments or leave reviews.Rarely ever am I actually blown away by the food as much as I was today. This place is fantastic. The dishes complement each other, no one dish competes heavily with another dish. There is still a great deal of care in terms of spice levels to not overwhelm the patron. And given the sheer amount we ordered, as well as how much we had as part of our spread.....it was all delicious.I will definitely do my best to frequent this fantastic, homey, and somewhat hidden venue in Katy.Dishes pictured: The Xiaobao dumplings, tiger fried rice, poached fish, steam rice (included with spicy szechuan chicken), Fried dumplings, and rolls (fried).Along with a Mango Black Tea, and a Peach Green Tea.Everything was utterly fantastic!
Food was awesome and the service was good. We had xiaolongbao, crispy shrimp rolls, sweet garlic beef with szechuan oil, tiger fried rice and chicken broccoli. Every dish was fresh and tasted fantastic. We appreciated the ability to dine in. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant.
Spicy lamb was good as well as the atmosphere and service.
I am floored by how much the food/service exceeded my expectations. As soon as we parked outside, I was a little hesitant. As soon as we walked inside, we were greeted by someone and taken to our table. They brought us egg rolls on the house, asked for our orders and within 5-10 mins we had our food. While ordering, I hesitated a lot and the server guaranteed I would like the food - saying if I dont, theyll gladly take the food back and bring me something else. Lets be real - you almost never get service like that. The three of us ordered something different but the beef noodle soup thing in the picture Im posting was literally the best noodle soup Ive ever had. Ever. And Ive had noodle soup/pho/ramen in many cities across the US.Get it. Its insanely good. Also the passion fruit tea was yummiest!
Everything was delicious! Especially the noodles.
This place is amazing. Ive tried so much on the menu and Ive never had something I didnt LOVE.
This used to be my favorite place for Asian food, but lately the quality hasnβt been as great. I wish it was as fresh as it used to be.
This place saved us during the winter storm. No stove, no heat, but Tiger Noodle is always open for business and ready to offer a warm meal that will satisfy your hungry belly. Amazing cuisine. Try the Kung Pao chicken (minus the peanuts..lol).
Best xiao long bao in this area! Weve gotten a free appetizer everytime weve been here as well. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The broths are clean tasting and mild but you can always ask for extra spice. Its moderately price and clean. Although the tables are getting a little sticky and need to be resurfaced. My wife got the Dan Dan noodles are she really enjoyed it.
Good menu selection of rice and noodle dishes, with a couple ghost pepper dishes if you enjoy spicy entrees. Flavors were a bit lacking in the non-spicy dishes, but service was good.
Spot on service and great Dan Dan Noodles
Thanks for opening during the winter storm. For me, it was the only place where my family got hot and cooked food. they won a loyal customer !!!
Great food! Super customer service from Neo! Cant wait to go back again.
Ive always had a good experience here!
Excellent food, excellent service,huge portions!
The beef noodle soup was delish and my husband is picky and he also loved the chicken soup. Super friendly staff I will definitely be back!!
When they its spicy hot believe them.oh its was wonderful food
Disgusting. Would not recommend it. The service was nice. But food was salty. And some of the meat did not tasted fresh.
The food was too good! Absolutely amazing!
OK, legit review 4.5. If you are familiar with Bellaire rd Chinatown food, this is almost as good and about two dollars more. However, it is in Katy, which is overrun with American Chinese food places. This tries really hard to be near authentic. They have regional food from Jiangsu, Yunnan, Sichuan, and other provinces. Portions are good and even better, friendly customer service. Atmosphere is clean if not underwhelming. They seemed to have just opened so they may be tweaking the design. Menu is being tweaked as well.Overall, very very happy to not have to drive all the way to Alief if we have a craving for authentic Chinese food.
The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly! I shall be eating here more often!
Got 3 bowls and an appetizer and only spent $40 so the value was amazing and the dumplings were amazing!!
Absolutely delicious. They just ran out of Boba or else would have been 5 stars.
Soup was very oily, they were out of hot tea and canned green tea gave me an Arizona green tea ( fake green tea ) but the server was very nice !
Great Noodle restaurant, large portions, very tasty dishes, good service reasonably priced
