We have never seen anything like this!! They make your ice cream on demand! And they have dairy base or non-dairy! All kinds of things to mix into the ice cream and specialty recipes that look amazing. My son and I were blown away and it was totally entertaining watching them make the desserts. We will be back! Simply AMAZING!! This was our first visit and they did not disappoint. Trying something new always comes with some trial and error but I cant think of anything that occurred with our visit. The customer service was great-very patient! There are so many good choices, now that was the hard part. Everything looked so good! I opted for the MANGONADA, while my ten year old chose ELEMINT! Both a WIN!! We cant wait to return to try more deliciousness!!Go try it, youll be glad you did!!

I am giving a 5 star because it is one of the best American ice creams I ate for far, so I am not comparing to an Italian Gelato. If you are looking for a place to take the kids and eat an improved version of Ben and Jerrys ice cream, this is the place. They use liquid Nitrogen during the preparation, and it is cool for the kids to watch.

Creamistry is truly incredible! I love bringing my family here and we love looking at the preparation of our ice creams since they use liquid nitrogen to flash freeze the ice cream instead of the ordinary churn. They always have all the flavors and toppings in stock. And they also have non-dairy base options which is really cool. Also the layout and cleanliness of the store is amazing.

First of all, the tables were dirty and even the place was filthy, I still take my chances and order. Took half hour to place ours and 35 minutes to get our order. Once we got it, instead of strawberry ice cream, they served me vanilla ice cream with burned brownie bites. I didn’t even bother to complain since there were many people that didn’t order yet and another client was complaining about the brownies as well. Sad to see a great business loosing clients because of bad administration.

Very good dairy free options 😊This was the chocolate combustion dairy free sub with coconut base (they also have cashew base). You can taste a hint of coconut but it doesnt take away from the chocolate flavor.

Fun way to watch ice cream being made with liquid nitrogen. The result is a super creamy texture which stays frozen much longer than typical ice cream. Great for enjoying taking your time eating in this Texas climate.

We waited for nearly 45 minutes only to be told they ran out of nitrogen. The folks working there seemed to think it was pretty funny. We were offered a refund and an offer to buy a pint of ice cream, which didnt turn out to be very fresh. Love the concept but I cant say we will be back anytime soon.

This ice cream shop is a new addition to a Katy shopping strip buzzing with new retail life. The location is always packed and favorited by teens and families alike. I decided to try it out and see what all the hype was about! My verdict? It was... ok. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was the modern decor. This is a fun place for taking instagram pictures and hanging out with friends. The line was long but the wait was only about 6 minutes. The guy at the counter was very polite and explained the menu to us. You are able to choose your ice cream base which offers great variety since they have dairy free and gluten free options. You are also able to choose from several toppings like cereals, nuts and fresh fruit. I chose a dairy-free base with coconut flavoring. As you wait for your ice cream you’re able to see the science happening while the ice cream artist uses nitrogen to create your dessert. The ice cream comes out in seconds ready for you to enjoy. The taste? Well... it was alright... the ice cream has a different texture than normal ice cream: it’s gooey but firm at the same time... sort of like play-dough. My flavor was bland and didn’t offer much satisfaction to my sweet tooth. My partner got a mango sorbet which also had the same texture but a very overwhelmingly sweet after taste. Overall, the service and the experience are worth the visit but the flavor was not all there; however, I’m willing to try again with other flavors... maybe I can find one that I enjoy!

Ridiculously good. Allergic to milk and they have a cashew based non-dairy option for basically EVERY flavor. Its delicious as well and the texture is so good. Employees were efficient and pleasant. 10/10 so sad Im just visiting

The staff was incredibly rude. We came for my boyfriend’s birthday treat. This was our first time and we were hoping for something cool and new. The place was FILTHY. Dirt all over the floors and chairs. I was given a dirty spoon that was covered in chocolate. When I asked for a replacement the girl Lilly working was rude and not apologetic at all. Very very unhappy with my experience.

Ice Cream was fantastic so for that I gave 2 stars. Would have been 5 except for the fact. I am not from the area and dropped by here with a friend. We ordered at the register what we wanted a regular Madagascar vanilla ice cream and a Nitro Shake chai tea) we proceeded to wait for our ice cream. They came out and both were a regular ice cream, no shake. When asked nicely why the one wasnt a shake they said that we paid for a regular. We clearly asked for a shake so the mess up if there was one was on the clerks as she repeated the order back to us. Should have been a quick simple fix. However they told us they would not fix it and if we wanted a shake we had to go pay for one. That is terrible customer service.. A customer should not have to take the fault because of your mistake. We wasted the one ice cream because we had to head home 1 1/2 hours away and can not eat with a spoon while driving. ....thats why we ordered a shake guys!

It’s too overpriced to have bad service. Employees were very rude because we were showing up 15 minutes before closing. I didn’t realize that the last 30 minutes of your shift were only for customer who were already in the location. Wouldn’t come here again.

Worst service ever.... first and last time I come to this location. Got two ice creams, one cookies and cream, the other cotton candy. When tasting the cotton candy, it was the worst cotton candy Ive ever had, it tasted like milk and sugar, you could actually chew little grains(sugar).Actually made the line again since they were busy, just to get to the register and the person tells me that they wont exchange it for something else, and telling me to just buy another... because I tried it already.No shittt, I had to taste it to see how bad it was.Never coming to this place again.

I ce cream was great,But the staff on 1/28/21 was terrible. They lacked most basic skills of customer service,When we first walked in no one even greeted us didnt even make a sound and as we approached the counter all 3 of the workers just stared at us. Making a simple transaction for ice cream very awkward. In most places the staff greets you with something simple like hi welcome in but we got nothing. It was very awkward and makes us not want to come to this location again. First impressions are ever lasting and the staff this night left a terrible first impression for me and my family.

The old saying you get what you pay for is so very true here. Creamistry just isnt the cheapest option, no getting around that, but there are so, so many choices at Creamistry that its well worth what youre paying.You cant help but get hit with option overload your first time, but after a few moments of figuring it out you go well maybe Ill try that other combination the next time I go back. And then on that second time you find a combo that sounds good for your third visit. And then another new one for your next. And so on and so on and so on.And then the, uh, cool way they make it, in individual batches frozen with liquid nitrogen! Even the texture comes out a bit different, smoother, better. Plus you can get fresh-made waffle bowls hot off the griddle so your supercold ice cream has another crazy combo to play off of. Yeah, we love this place.

Best ice cream Ive ever had! And this is from someone who doesnt really like ice cream that much or have a sweet tooth.I just get the plain vanilla. They freeze it with liquid nitrogen...with the end product having an unusually smooth texture. Best way to describe it is ice cream with the texture of chocolate mousse at a fine dining establishment.

I brought my daughter to have her first taste of ice cream as our Valentine’s Day date. I was rudely denied service by the cashier after waiting 15 minutes in line because I had only brought cash. I offered to pay in exact change,(we were only getting a small cup of plain ice cream to share) but she said no and then she asked to see INTO MY WALLET to see if I had a card for payment, I showed her even though I felt uncomfortable and she said I don’t know what to tell you whenever there wasn’t one there. Then she just stared at me and my daughter like we were poor. I followed all of their precautions for COVID-19 and was completely respectful of them. I KINDLY left empty handed even while at being treated so unwell. I am so upset to see this woman treat me this way. I feel as if she was judging me based on my race or something however she saw me the bottom line was she looked at us like scum.

This place is awesome!!!! My son has a severe nut allergy and this place is wonderful at accommodating his allergy! Which is great as most ice cream places are not so we have to steer clear.

Went four times expecting to be able to get ice cream free of my five allergens: soy, dairy, wheat, gluten, and egg. Over the two years I complained to management who would at the counter refuse and mix of topping, flavors etc I named no matter how traditional or creative I got. I didnt put up a bad review until they gave me $10 credit to try to win back my business, that they never really had, and the female owner herself refused the mix of toppings I requested. I am very nice, love people and always try to give another chance. Well, today, the fourth time, the cashier was being helpful. Then the rude supervisor, who turns out to be the male owner refused and mix i requested. My family had to protect me from him as I am on crutches and he even followed me out the door. I struggled to get away. He was begging me for another chance but most people would have put a bad review up the first time not giving then a chance to fix it. Punishment for being nice...all going through gives experience wise. STAY AWAY FROM CHREAMISTRY if you have food allergies! They will do their best to make you not want to come back or be able to safely eat food free of your allergens! Danger to those with serious food allergies.Biggest mistake I have made! I dont make too many but this was one of the worst!

To all of you that make ur runs to DQ for ur ice cream fixes, or even places like Menchies, Creamistry takes all the cake with extra frosting!! So creamy good! I cant wait to go back. My daughter brought me here to cheer me up from the day I had, and it was a definite satisfactory fix! We had the Speculoos Overload and the Elemint. Excellent flavors!

Tried this place today for the first time. It was really good. They were also sweet with the twin boys (3 years old). One wanted blue ice cream the other wanted red.The owners were very accommodating and even split our regular order into two cups (one for each kid).We will be regular customers and will spread the word.

Their ice cream is thick and creamy, too thick for my taste as it tastes like frozen heavy cream with *insert your favorite flavour* taste. If you like them thick and creamy then this place is for you. Quite pricey in my opinion $6.44 for a regular size

Great ice cream, but terrible service. They have a problem with labeling, for example they might not have a certain topping in the system so they have to manually cross off the toping in the printed label and correct the order, which is fine, except if they forget to cross off a toping the wrong topping will be added to the ice cream. This happened with my order, a $12 pint where they added brownie bites instead of chamoy to a mango sorbet. They replaced the incorrect order after much back and forth when I went to the store two days later, but the supervisor was telling me to call ahead of time next time the order was mistaken as if it was my fault for being an inconvenience when they had messed up my order. Very disappointing. Great product, but terrible service, which is not worth it to me as a paying customer. I will have to take my business elsewhere.

This is my first time here with my son and the place is amazing!! It’s amazing! Awesome staff and incredibly clean. You can see how they make the ice cream. If you have children they will most definitely enjoy seeing the fog that’s created when they make the ice cream. I definitely will come back again!

The service is great and very friendly. The menu is huge but they will help you with your selection. If you are around Katy, Texas, slop by this place.
