Definitely recommend coming here. They always have everything I need and are friendly.I’ve tried meat from other places and I’ve consistently got the best meat from Maharaja. It’s cleaned very well and fresh. A lot of places just give you bones in the mixed goat, but Maharaja doesn’t.

You guys are Unprofessional. I called yall before coming there to ask if you sell Couscous. A lady confirmed that you have the product. I drove about 20 minutes to get there, I checked all the shelves. None, I asked the cashier then I was told: no we dont sell it. Come on!!!

Maharaja Grocery is a go to place for Indian grocery. I shop here every week for meat and grocery, the meat is fresh and clean always. Very friendly and helpful, i would like to mention Mr Irfan who is always willing to help. I also do curbside pickup and it is delivered on time hassle free. Highly recommend Maharaja Grocery.

PK(02/14) Great grocery with good selection of fresh meat. In particular, Irfan goes that extra bit to assure easiness at store, timely delivery of phone orders, and a positive experience. With the current expansion, it is probably going to a top grocery in Katy.

The halal meat is fresh and hand cut to order, the produce is actually much better than H‑E‑B and Walmart (this was surprising) and they have a really large variety of brands and products.Undergoing a renovation right now but looks like they are adding a lot of new services!

It is best place to get Desi Grocery specially the help there one person name Mr Usman and other one i believe Mr Irfan in meat department. Specially they are very help full and great people. I always prefer that place to go for shopping and i love it.Thank you

It’s a good place to go to for all your desi food needs. But lately We’ve encountered two problems. One, the wings that we got are “quarters” not wings. Secondly, got tandoori naan twice and it tasted and smelled so bad both times we had throw them out! The expiry date is not passed and still smells stale.

I shop from this place on a weekly basis, I purchased 4 whole chicken, meat and other groceries when I arrived home the bags smelled so bad so I thought that its only the bags because they always use weird scent in the butcher area.I cooked two of the chicken today and the whole house smelled, so I took the chicken and went to the store and they stated that the owner will not return or refund because it exceeded 6 days :(Excuse me !!!!We always shop for the week and put everything in the deep freezer and nobody has time to check every single chicken.I am so disappointed from this place and will never shop from them again.Mr owner today you lost a valued customer and I am sorry but I have to tell my family members and friends too, also remember that you guys didn’t refund my money and I want everyone to be careful from dealing with this place.

I would recommend shopping at Maharaja Grocers to anyone! They have wide variety of desi items and is very convenient location.I have bought the halal goat meat and is of high quality.The staff especially, Irfan was very helpful in finding stuff.

This is the go-to place for all Indian/Pakistani foods in Katy/Fulshear area! The owner is awesome and they are even expanding as we speak. Love this place!

I shop at Maharaja Indo-Pak Grocery store all the time and have always had a good experience . The staff is nice and friendly, the shelves are always stocked . Unlike most other halal places I have found the meat at Maharaja to be fresh and of good quality and place to be neat and tidy.Keep up the good work. Appreciate the good customer service !! :)

I’ve been going here for a while now and I must say this is the best place in town to shop for all your meat and desi grocery .super clean and meat is always so fresh .specially Mr Irfan is so helpful .I am very easily able to place my order over the phone and it is ready exactly the way I want it ...would definitely recommend !! 🙌🏽

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I get to the store at 7:45pm and wait around for the meat person to come out from the back. He doesn’t come out till 8 saying that they are closed that they close at 8. Now I have been waiting for 15 minutes to order only for him to say that they are closed. Then I go to the counter and ask him what’s going on. The person at the counter says the meat department closes at 7:30pm and I can not get meat today. I explained my situation and the person at the counter said there is nothing he can do and that he has been busy all day.Firstly, they should decide what departments close at what time. Secondly, the person at the counter should be amenable to the customers. Now Maharaja has lost me as a customer for life.

I went to this store twice recently and I noticed that one staff member is not wearing mask. He is working in the cashier and loading stuff into the shelves without a face mask. He has to understand the current situation. If he talks or cough everything stay on the groceries. This is very simple thing to understand.

I had good experience with this place before but not anymore. In my last visit to shop, I found 2 out of 3 things were expired, not even by days but months. Any shop should keep their items checked for expiration dates, I can’t compromise with my family health to buy expired items. Cashier was not even wearing the mask. From all perspectives, it’s not healthy to buy products from here.

Be Careful when you but meat at MAHARAJA GROCERS. Other day, butcher used the same machine to cut BEEF for a customer ahead of me and cut Chicken for me without washing or cleaning the blade 🤢When asked he said we use the same machine for Chicken, goat and BEEF. Its absolutely shocking and disgusting because, firstly its CROSS CONTAMINATION and secondly very offensive for my RELIGIOUS BELIEF.

Great location for desi groceries, however I am concerned that no one in the meat section was wearing masks. Also the person stocking the supplies was not wearing one. On my previous visit, he was at the counter and only put on a mask after I requested him to. I really dont understand why the rules are not being followed.

Great selection of meat and frozen goods. They are going through a renovation that is increasing their floor space and expanding their offerings.The renovations are almost complete and it looks really good. I never have a problem finding anything I need. And the butcher is very good about giving me meat to my liking - especially unique cuts for Halal meat.

I visited this store yesterday. The store is very clean and well lighted. Meat department is super clean and priced reasonably well. The staff is courteous. It has all the groceries you need in Katy area without traveling too far.

Purchased goat meat 3-4 times and it is found very good quality and fresh. Also these guys print real date of packing. The butcher are friendly and can provide meat in smaller pieces if you ask.

Guy at the front desk cant communicate well and the owner is super RUDE. He is asking for receipt and said Whats the proof that i bought Toor Dal from his store why would i return, if i bought at other store??No respect for customers. Not coming back...

Always have a great experience, they are always fully stocked on whatever I need and if sometimes they dont have what I need they make sure they ordered it as quickly as possible. Great customer service and very welcoming staff.

The store initially was ok. But, now the staff at the store are not at their best as the customers are increasing it has become overwhelming for them as I see it. Especially, the meat section folks have to improve the way they handle the customers. They overall quality of the meat is good if you are buying it earlier in the week as i observed. The grocery section is managed OK. however the stocking in front of the check out blocks the check out line.

If you need groceries from India or Pakistan, this place has it. The staff are extremely nice and the owner knows his stuff. Keeps an eye out for quality. Their meat dept is good and they have an onsite butcher if you need something specific. Their samosas are on my must buy list! True neighborhood store
