Happened twice to me, they are carrying a lot of expired products on shelves. Please check for the expiration date before buying.They had good varieties of products on stock.

Coming here regularly but they raised the prices of sweets each laddu box is 12.99 and jalebi is $8.99. Insane prices they raised the prices depends on the situation all other grocers are better. Avoid this store.

Carrying stuff close to expiry and then saying they just got in every week. bps snacks, bought one and didnt realize itll expire in a few days and tasted so stale. Called and said Im returning it. Waste of my time !! I rarely go there. The guy who sold me the stuff is the owner too...cant get over trying to cheat folks. Unbelievable!!

Going there for past 10 years. Something happened today that changed our perspective regarding this place. The Lady as many has referred to in the many reviews here. Hand keyed 12 samosas when only 6 were purchased. One frozen item purchased and rung up as 2. She wants to apologize and state there was an error. I have hard time believing this. Called on the phone first but she hung up after listening . Drove to her store and she keeps saying scanner error on something she hand keyed. All these years I am wondering how much we got ripped off just trusting this merchant. I had such a bad taste in my mouth that I just told her she can keep the ripped off money but also understand we are never coming back. Goodbye Katy Bazaar.

2 star for the location and some good cooked food, but the lady is very rude in the store, she doesn’t know how to talk to customers. I would prefer to go somewhere else, accepting bad behavior. We are paying for the stuff not getting free. No more shopping from here anymore.

Awesome service repeatedly provided by K T Bombay Bazaar. Nick was great, as usual. Today I ordered a carload of items. All of the things I ordered were either available or had great replacements. K T Bombay Bazaar provided me curbside pickup facility. All I had to do was order over Whats App. Not only all the items were picked in the right quantity and quality but also nicely put in the boot of my car. I did not have to get out of my car or even have to lower my car windows. K T Bombay Bazaar is a great Indian store in Katy with an excellent service record. Thank you once again!

We normally avoid going here due to high prices and inferior quality and customer service. We went here after a long time hoping the competition from another Indian grocery store in Katy (Keemat) probably helped improve this store.But we encountered the same old experience. Take a look at the instant coffee powder which showed the price at 3.99 British pounds on the bottle and the price charged, a whopping $11.99! 2-3 times more even after you take into account the currency exchange difference.Another issue related to customer service, when I was at the checkout, I noticed one of the mangos was bad in the crate I picked (priced $11.99), which I tried to change with another one. Then the owner/sales clerk visibly got mad and would try to teach me the basics of commerce.Its the exact opposite experience at Keemat, both from pricing and customer service perspectives.Not going back here again.

Love this store! They always have what we need and the owners are really friendly and helpful! Highly recommend their curb side pick up especially during covid. Super easy process - text your order and they text you when its ready. They also message you if something is not in stock so you can modify your order accordingly before pick up. Highly recommend this Indian grocery store.

Ordered list of grocery items via whatsapp message for curbside delivery. The response was quick and my confirmation was sought for substitute items. Fulfilled my request for two additional items even after confirmation that grocery pickup is ready.Placement of items in cars open trunk and payment by credit card was done without getting out of car ........ social distancing.Curbside delivery was completed within few hours of ordering as compared to 3-4 days with other grocery stores.Experienced a good service. Keep it up in this challenging times.

The people who work here are extremely helpful and very nice. They have an abundance of spices and foods for desi cooking, along with snacks. Great place and I continue to come back.

Their curbside pickup service during COVID-19 is great. We ordered for pickup and got it done at a time of our convenience all while maintaining social distancing. We ordered over text and Nick asked us a bunch of questions to ensure he got our order right and asked us before making any substitutions. The produce was fresh and he sent us lists of fresh veggies as well as freshly cooked food, which was really helpful.

We have been doing shopping by “curbside pickup” after covid issue. No problems so far with the service. They do it same day in a few hours after order and they are helpful and patient in helping us.

Great job in completing the contactless pick up!! Ordered my list via text and was able to pick up with in 2 hours. Items were placed in the trunk and payment was made using the card left in the trunk. Keep up the good work!!

Their service during lockdown has been excellent. They text you to ensure they are providing the items requested in the list. Curbside pick up is quick and order is ready for pick up within a couple of hours.

The lady (owners wife) was very rude. I went in to this store to get some chapatis and the guy who was making the chapatis gave me a pack of 20. Firstly, I noticed that the guy making the chapatis was not wearing any gloves. When going to the check-out counter to pay for it, I was told that I cant take it as Ive not shopped in the store and that there was a huge line for chapatis. When I was there however, there was absolutely no such line,and she responded arrogantly stating, you need to shop or wait in line or you can go make your own chapatis. If you need to shop for Indian groceries go to Vishala instead as the service there is much better and it is much cleaner. I recommend for everyone to never step into this store.

Picked up curbside Grocery this morning. Service was seamless from sending text message with the grocery list, them interacting by text questions on my list and then them putting the grocery into my car.Plan to get my Indian grocery curbside from them henceforth.

Indian grocery store with majority of items in their store. Except meat, they keep rice, atta, spices, dosa batter and almost all Indian items except you can imagine. The staff is courteous (sometimes quick witted) and friendly. Curbside delivery is available thru WhatsApp. Price point is moderate to expensive but you will surely get everything here including curry leaves. Their samosas are worth a try along with the green chatni. They also keep frozen vegetables and stuffed parathas.

We loved the service provided by KT Bombay during this COVID situation . They provide curbside and have provided all the items that I had requested on the list . The grocery was of good quality and I don’t miss going into the store physically. The whole experience of curbside was very good.

The lady at the store counter is extremely rude, with a quick temper. Firstly, this store does not display price against at least half of the items on the shelves; Secondly the actual price turns out to be almost double of that in other Indian stores for same food items.On top of this, when we take the products to the counter to ask the actual price, the owner lady behaves very rudely and if by chance you decide not to buy the item with inflated price, the lady starts downright insulting you, asking why you wasted her time and ordering you angrily to keep the items back on shelf even if you try to explain to her that you were going to keep the items back anyway. Then she keeps muttering and eyeing you suspiciously till you have left the store. Never have I ever experienced such a bad customer service - I am not returning to this store again!

The owner of the shop is incredibly rude, and the quality of vegetables provided is low. Additionally, there are bugs such as cockroaches in the aisle. Do yourself a favor and go to Keemat or Vishala, the other Indian grocery stores in the area.

Great service and great staff. Treats you like a family. Lots of options and great quality on their in house items. The sweets are great as well. The owner is also great. I got smaller packets of few items by mistake, and he exchanged it without question. The in house food is healthier than at restaurant. And it t tastes better as well. Once in a while they run out of certain items and takes them a while to get certain items back. The vegetables were great as well. The frozen food section is almost as big as at the big store. And it has lot of different options. Lot of out of the box, ready to eat meals.

The store front lady is absolutely insane. She screamed at my family and I today for no reason? We were just normal customers going about our day and she started to follow us throughout the store and finally stopped us to tell us and started to yell at us for arbitrary things. She then proceeded to record us? We immediately left because this behavior is absolutely crazy and uncalled for. Hope she’s get fired or replaced because we will definitely not be coming back here anytime soon.Also if you notice, the “5 star” reviews on this are totally fake accounts.

Simply Awesome. Fresh grocery, huge variety and fresh products at reasonable price. Its like Home away home for grocery, typically one stop shop for all the Indian stuff - you name and he will have it.Very enthusiastic staff lead by one of his kind owner. I very much appreciate the efforts he took to order something that is not so common, yet I needed. Having failed to get it from anywhere else, he took extra efforts to make it available in a weeks time. Thank you.

The place was great until a new store keeper/owner (lady) came for management. If you are disable and use wheel chair for mobility then this is the place to avoid. The lady asked me to leave my dad at a corner as her store is pretty narrow for wheelchair. Cant believe someone can ask this to a elderly person.

Worst customer service . Aunty at counter don’t care about some customers. She is very biased and so rude .Please learn some consistent customer service from Keemat grocers. They are very polite and have nice customer service.

Rating based on arrogant behavior and expired food item. I have been observing this from last 4-5 years. Mason road has other better Indian Grocery Store with better options, then, why would one go here, unless there is an urgency.

Easily one of the worst stores that I have ever visited. I visited recently to buy a bag of rice which cost me 13 dollars. I went home and opened the bag only to find it filled with Bugs and Beatles! I called up the store clerk to ask for a replacement as the rice is unfit for human consumption and should be thrown away. The clerk on the call does not even speak English! I proceed to talk to him in Hindi. The clerk is refusing to come home and replace the rice giving some really lame excuses that his boss is not in town! Instead of being apologetic and helpful he is replying sarcastically and arguing with me rather than admit his mistake and replace the garbage that was sold to me. He is also very rude and does not take any responsibility for the substandard, stale and bug infested rice that was sold to me. I was infuriated and almost filed a lawsuit against these scammers!! I really wonder how these guys are even doing business when their store is filled with either stale or expired products! I do not recommend this store unless you are shopping for garbage sold as groceries. I am definitely not wasting my hard earned money to buy over priced, expired and bug infested food from this store again!

One the best Indian store i found after coming to US.On my first visit i have Received an Invitation for the dinner at home, was never expected in America.Very Loving and Caring nature of uncle and Aunty.Almost all the Indian grocery which i was using in India, are available here in reasonable rate.I have always received a great response from the family.

Not sure why the low ratings are there..Ive only had great experiences as a customer there on all levels - food selections and quality, prices are low on the stuff i was looking for and they do specials (lower prices) on some items sometimes, which is great! And the staff & people there are quite friendly & kind. Last time i was there they had Moringa(Drumstick), Curry, and Guava Plants to grow for sale. 5 stars on this rating for sure.

I would have given this store less than 0 stars if possible. Few things have already been expired and they are still selling them. When I informed the guy at the counter about the expired items he arrogantly answered saying eating things which are expired for a month or two or more will not cause any issuesand buying any item at their store is not their responsibility but the buyers responsibility.

And the husband doesnt say anything when you try to tell him about her bad behavior. And if you look white dont go in they are racist! I will take my money some where else to get my Indian food! I prefer this to the other Indian groceries in katy area.. they have a larger collection of stuff and more business means you have less chance of finding old stocks.. not the best for fresh vegetables though they have adequate stuff.. samosa here is good while Id avoid michi bajji here (personal preference though)

Good place, lot of variety. Vegetables are not always fresh... but has a good stock most of the time. I do not recommend the kachoris and dahi bhallas though. Not good at all. The curries are also so so. But it is good for all dry Indian groceries, paneer, and frozen veggies. The place is clean and aisles are spacious and well stocked. The customer service is also good.

Wheat flour tasted bad. The groceries are also not fresh. Keemat grocers is better than this place.
