Ill give this business a 2-star rating. I had an amp and woofer installed as a surprise birthday gift from my wife. Initially, I will say they gave her a average deal on her purchase. She mentioned she had a small issue with the business not having the right size grille cover to match the woofer, but nothing a small wait cannot fix. Reason for the 2-star is for customer service. I had blew through two woofers and 3 returns trips to the shop with blowing speaker issues. I no professional, but I have installed my own equipment back in the day and have learned a lot since. Long story short, they gave me the run around on warranty after the first woofer replacement. After the second woofer blew me off and complained about not having stock when the pandemic hit. I get it, Im very understanding. I ended up dealing through the manufacturer and replacing it myself. This is when I noticed they wired the woofer incorrectly causing the voice coil to burnout. Not saying it is the worst place to go, but commercial businesses are not bad either. You can be your own judge. Just do your research first before you spend your hard earned money.Update** In response I called twice and even stopped by on my way home. Both times you and the lady at the counter wrote my number down and said you would get back to me. I was being patient due to Covid. It was several months without any word from you. So I called the manufacturer. They had sent my woofer within 3 weeks. They also sent me a diagram on how the woofer should be wired for my setup. Since I installed this third woofer for this setup, I havent had any issues since. Im not saying your business is bad. Im saying you need to work on customer service. I appreciate the offer on trying to fix the issue, but it has already been taken care of. Thanks!

I wanted to upgrade the radio in my car as I’m giving it to my mom soon. I called around and it was suggested that I upgrade the speakers too. I shared my quotes to someone, and he asked I had called CJ Sounds. I had not but extremely glad I did! Isreal recommended I take the car in so he could listen to my speakers and give his best recommendation. They didn’t need replaced. He saved me at least $500!! Who does that?!! There were a few hiccups but they explained the issue and quickly found a solution. They did a great job and I am very pleased. Ruby was very helpful throughout the entire process. Excellent customer service!

Came by to have them resolve a ground noise that came with a new vehicle I bought. Israel met me at the door with a smile and enthusiasm to help me. I wanted a head unit that had CarPlay as well. He had a good selection to choose from and after some recommendations we settled on one. He had me done in 2 hours with a flawless install and no ground noise. The installer also invited me back to my car and went over how to work my new head unit. In a world of instant gratification it was really nice to deal with some people that actually took the time to make sure a customer was satisfied and knew how to work the product they are paying for. Hats off to these guys and the great work they do. No wonder they have been there for so long. I’ve watch the place go up many years ago and they are still around. Will define taking my cars here from now on.

In March I had 1600 dollars in audio tint and alarm work done. Its now August and my alarm system that was state of the art when sold to me in March is obsolete. Cool stuff changes I get it. But the transponder for my keys doesnt work. Israel orders another one and I make an appointment to have the transponder replaced and the system upgraded to the latest equipment. Arrive this morning no one has a clue Im coming theres no alarm guy today and no one can find the transponder either. This has been my go to for 2 cars now. Ive referred friends and my own clients from an where i work. Bottom line my time is valuable today I was made to feel like I wasnt important and theyre busy either way which is true. But, as of today my alarm will be updated the four subs and two amps I planned to have installed and all my referrals will be going elsewhere. I do appreciate the quality of work Ive received in the past but there are no excuses for today.

Gotten my windows tinted here a few days ago, the craftsmanship was terrible. Multiple bubbles and dust residue left behind. Good shop but bad craftsmanship.

My Toyota Corollas stock stereos touch screen stopped working and Toyota wanted a fortune to replace it. Israel gave me a fast quote over e-mail then educated me in the store about which systems are compatible with my vehicle. He even had someone come over there and detail my vehicle (for an extra charge of course) but he did it while I was unable to find anyone else to do it. Everything was done the same day. Was not impressed with the tint work on my vehicle. I expressed my concerns about the cut, color, bubbles and what my vehicle was suppose to have only to be told to comeback in 2 weeks and if I wanted to add another layer of tint Id have to pay an extra $50-75 dollars even though what I initially asked for wasnt right; lets not mention I didnt get the lower grade tint either so it was $250 to start with. Excuse me... Noooooo sir! I expressed wanting my tint dark... Zero visibility to be exact. Nobody told me that since I didnt have base tint from the factory it wouldnt be zero unless I went with zero %. I wasnt told that at all....I refuse to take my car back there for anything and this is the 4th vehicle theyve worked on for my family and 5th time doing business with them but thats come to an end. My Mercedes shouldnt have on off cut or bubbles at all.... I guess Ill find someone to makes it right because Im not confident in their work anymore. I know an older guy did my tint and I asked him was he going to clean the windows first, he said yes...well guess what he DIDNT so I have marks underneath the tint that will never come off unless I go get it changed somewhere else. A TOTAL WASTE OF $250 dollars.... They got me this time but itll NEVER happen again. If I could give (0) stars I would!

Ive had 3 cars worked on by CJ Sounds over the last 5 years (ceramic tint, remote starts, custom sound systems), and not only have they done great work, but their products last. Last week, I had a new car delivered here directly from the dealership. I was not there for the delivery, so the owner completed an inspection for me to ensure the car was not damaged during delivery.While my car was here, I had the wheels powdercoated as well. They assisted me by recommending a mobile wheel service, and then allowing my vehicle to stay overnight while the wheels were being taken care of. And, of course, not only did the wheel service that they recommend do a phenomenal job, but the ceramic tint looked flawless as well.CJ Sounds has always performed great work with quality products, and this time, they went above and beyond with their customer service. I highly recommend these guys.

Was not upset about the payment of $75 to check out the sound system but if I get the work done with you why not apply the $75 to the work that Im going to get done with you. if I wasnt I get to work done with you then I understand $75 is $75 for a fee to look at the vehicle .... that is what I dont understand.

The guys at CJ Sounds were very helpful and honest with pricing and installation options. i was gifted a pioneer stereo and needed installation in my 2016 f-150, the problem was that the kit required was an entire dash replacement, as previously mentioned we worked out a deal and the installation was completed the same day, i even went ahead and got my windows tinted while i had the truck there. overall the experience was exceptional. i plan on going back for a subwoofer upgrade and installation.

Rolled in with the left speakers mostly not working. Israel got me in with no wait, they identified the issue (corroded connectors), replaced them with better ones, and I was out of there. It took all of 35 minutes. So, fast, friendly service at a very fair price. Dont know why anyone would go anywhere else for car/truck audio needs.

Had the guys install a TV and Stereo for my Jeep. Got a lot of help with the financing part and also a big discount compared to other places. Job was done quick and clean. They took the time to teach me how to use the new equipment installed and even took the time to call a few days later to make sure everything was working properly. I strongly recommend them. I went in just to see how much it would cost for an updated stereo and left with a new stereo and a fresh tint for my truck.. I didn’t believe the price I was quoted because it seemed too low, but I wasn’t about to argue to pay more. ; ) All the guys in the shop were super nice and I’m glad I stopped by on a whim today. They also took time to show me how to work the new stereo and helped me hook my phone to the Bluetooth. The work was done super fast; it was a great experience all around and I’ll definitely be back for any future work on my truck.I’d recommend CJ Sounds for any type of aftermarket work.

They have 2 stores one on Fry Rd and another on FM 529. I have always received great service and quality workmanship from both their stores. One store installed a 5th wheel hitch and the other installed a radar detector and tinted my windows. Would highly recommend them.

Talk about full service! These folks are the best. I brought my daughter’s car in for a radio, window tint and speakers. Not only did they quote a reasonable price, but they took me to my nearby home so I wouldn’t have to wait. Then they took the car next door for oil change and inspection I had a really busy day and appreciated not having to wait while all this got done. I highly recommend them!

Me and my husband drop our care off and May9 and was told it would be ready within a week maybe a week in a half mind u we was giving the price of $3100 for everything we were getting, paid for our services right then, and left. Now here it is June 20 and we are just now getting the car, every time we called to check on the status of the car they had no updates, I begin to get worried and told my husband he needs to drive out there and put eyes on our car, only to go out there and nothing is completed, so my husband told them he wants his car and now, the owner in turned guaranteed him that when we arrive Toto pick it up which was yesterday everything would be completed, we get out there yesterday and nothing was complete, the only thing that was completed was the box, but it was bolted down, speakers nor the radio had been bolted and secured, things were just falling off and or apart, so we had to sit there for another 2 1/2 to 3 hrs just so they could complete things that should have already need done, and to top it off one of his employees named Chris after speaking with my husband and hearing the other project he was going to do to the car he told us he could get us a really good deal on what we wanted and we would just have to pay for labor at the shop, paid for the parts needed with totaled $900 only for this man to skip with our money and the parts, I told the owner for all of the trouble we should at least get some of our money back, I wasn’t expecting all of the money back as they did do a job, but being told our car would be ready in less than 2weeks and getting it back over a month later, not to mention, parts that we paid for and money we gave was stolen by his employee, after finally completing what should have already need some he suddenly have a change of heart after telling me he would make it right and give me part of my money back, he then tell me the job is complete now so he can only give me $50, I was livid, he then gave me $100 back which if I am being honest I still don’t think was fair, but I took it and left because I didn’t want to get myself into trouble, my husband just got a phone call saying the parts that were stolen was located and we could come and get them but we will have to pay forthem again, we wanted to do more business with them but after this experience we won’t. In response to your recent post, I Didn’t know this gentleman your shop as well as your employee was recommended to me I spoke to you, and made arrangements with you of how I wanted my car, done my business arrangement was with you, in which u delegated to your employee what will be done, and verbatim you said my car would be ready in a week or a week and a half, so why was my car there over a month, when I found out your employee scammed me even though he said you knew what was going on and that again I have to come to the shop and pay you extra labor for the extra work, which had not been no problem to pay, when asked when do he receive his last check so we could come up there and get this situation solved in front of you, u told my husband that your employees are like Day labors u paid them daily for the jobs. Regardless that is and was your employee the he and one of your other workers are apparently doing business under you, while you were out of town, no one ever came to my house. I have text messages from your employee stating that you knew the work he was doing and that again we have to come to the shop to pay for labor then on top of that with all the money that I’ve spent with you my system keeps cutting in and out So now I have to take my car to another shop and let them do what I paid $3100 for and didn’t get

I visited CJ sounds after I was informed my window tint was too dark to pass inspection. I didnt think it was too dark, so I was a bit concerned the allowable tint wouldnt look like tint at all and Id spend my hard earned money on something I wouldnt be satisfied with. The concern quickly vanished after visiting the shop and speaking with Israel Martin Del Campo about my situation. I was quoted a great price and time frame for the work that needed to be done. Mr.Israel and his team did a great job on my car. Id definitely recommend them for anyone looking for top notch work!

Talk about service after the sale! 3 years after buying an amp and speakers for my truck, which they sold and installed, the right channel just up and quit. Luis did troubleshooting, and found worn wires. Replaced them at no cost for labor, just the parts, because it was their product - and did this same day. We also bought and had them install a head unit and speakers for my wifes Smart car last year - not a typical install - but they did it right, sounds great!! Highly recommend CJ Sounds.

These guys will get you in and out quick. They may have missed a thing or two. However, they do great work. In my 05 Lexus IS300, I had an amp wired up, and hooked up to my subwoofer. It worked flawlessly for the first month. Very strong quality parts too. However, after a certain time, the amp started going into protection mode. I found my ground wire wasnt even on bare metal, as it should be. They had failed to sand down the location. After I had re-ran my ground by myself, the amp is now working flawlessly. This is electrical basics 101; always keep a good ground. I will not be returning for power / ground wire installs, only for signal converters.Edit : After thinking about my purchase decisions at this shop, I had purchased a Rockford Fosgate amp from them which is still working to this day, two years, and it shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. The products they sell are great, and I wouldn’t hesitate to pick up a bigger amp when the time comes. To reflect this, I have upped this review from 3 stars to 4 stars. They stand behind their product, and it shows.

No complaints at all. My alarm & back up alarm work perfectly. The price was decent as well. Im pleased w their work & have not had too bring my van back w any problems. I recommend them.

I had sound, tint, and alarm installed on my 2018 Silverado. I am pretty happy with almost everything. I will say DO NOT purchase the Viper Smart Start Pro. That thing is completely useless, I havent been able to get any of the functions to work. It was a waist of money.

I went there to just look at a new radio, I ended up getting a dual blue tooth stereo ! I love it! The whole staff was funny and nice. Well also I needed to change my tag on car and it started raining, amd the owners wrapped my tag in plastic so that it would not get ruined and installed my plate! I didnt even ask he just came out and got to work!

My husband and I recently visited CJ Sounds to install a system in my husbands truck and window tint for my SUV. After the finished products we can both say that the quality of work is outstanding! The staff members are kind and pay attention to detail when it comes to your needs. Also, the RR was clean and it even has AC!! :)

Good people to work with and great work. This is my 4th time coming here and they help me with my car projects. I recommend this place if you want your car to look nice. They back there stuff up and if something aint right they make it right.

I have been recommending this shop for about a decade but never again after today. Bought a installation kit and wiring harness for a radio yesterday, ended up not needing either one, tried to return them unopened and untouched, but said no returns due to some customers trying to do it themselves and failing and trying to get a refund, which was not the case nothing was used or attempted. Dont worry though Ill eat the $43 dollars and never use or recommend yall again. Smh why be petty in a dime a dozen industry?

I have brought a couple of vehicles to this place to have my windows tinted. After seeing the type of work they perform and talking to the owner, Israel, I decided to have them redo the sound system in my classic car. I could not have been more pleased. I highly recommend CJ Sounds, very knowledgable and trustworthy.
