Took my 2009 FXDL in due to intermittent starting issue. Dan took delivery of the bike gave me an estimate as to when they could look at the bike. They replaced a relay that was causing the problem and called to tell when it was ready for me to pick up. However since this was an intermittent problem they suggested I leave the bike with them a couple of days for more testing to insure this was the only issue. Not a problem, glad they suggested this; while I already had the bike there I asked them to change oil, oil filter, transmission oil, etc.I am very pleased with the service, reasonable prices, and the owners commitment to insure that I was satisfied with their service. I dont know how much longer I will have this bike as I am thinking about selling it. Having said that, this shop has become the shop where I will be taking the bike for any future work. Good job guys, keep up the good work.

Dan and Thumper are great to work with. Ive been having issues with my 07 night train. Its been in half a dozen shops over the last 10 to 12 years for a intermittent starting issue. No one could figure it out. I recently had it in and they found several issues, repaired them at a great price. I highly recommend them.

Katy Custom Cycles exceeded my expectations. I upgraded exhaust system to include pipes, intake, tuning, and 5k service. Not only the job was done ahead of time, properly, and at a great price, but with great care and understanding of a customer needs. I went in with misperception of what could be done to my bike, left with a best optimal solution to improve performance and looks. Definitively, I will go back to this shop and fully recommend as a long-term partnership. If your Harley is out the warranty, this is the place to go for service and upgrades.

I thought something was wrong with my bike when I bought it off Facebook and it immediately gave me problems after taking it out when I trailered it home. Took it to Katy cycles, they said oh it’s only some loose wiring on the battery, barely charged me and while they were at it, made the clutch tighter and did some other things I didn’t ask for and now it’s my favorite bike! I’ll definitely be back again, super nice and quick service.

Its no mystery why Dan and the crew at Katy Custom do NOT need to advertise! TOP NOTCH service, workmanship, and fair prices are the key. Regular customers come in from hundreds of miles away for their reliable service. Katy Custom has been keeping my 2001 HD FLHR running in excellent condition for well over 12 - 13 years and over 200,000 miles.The ONLY scenario I can imagine NOT using this excellent shop is IF I broke down SO far away (like over a 1,000 miles or more) that the tow service would cost more than the repair! Even then Id have to think long and hard before allowing ANYONE else to wrench my bike.The BEST shop in metro Houston BAR NONE!!

The most honest shop you will ever use .I wish there was 10 stars . I took my Harley to Dan thinking my entire charging system was out . Could have ben a expensive fix. I call to check on it and they tell me just my battery cables were loose . And that I owe them 60$. Lol they could have easily charged me 700$ to tighten some cables down . If your looking for an honest reliable shop that will go above and beyond for you every time . Katy customs is your place!

Got my toy back today took her in for the charging system found out it was the voltage regulator. Dan & Ann at Katy custom cycles fix the problem and put on new rear brake pads. I dont know about you but this is the best place in town to get your bike worked on.

Although they couldnt work on my bike, because its metric, they made me feel welcome and even suggested a shop that does metric bikes. If I ever get a Harley, or a chopper I will definitely come back to them, just because they were so nice.

Dan and his staff are top notch professionals. Was able to bring the bike by in the morning for services, a new tire and replace handle bar bushings. Picked the bike up before closing. I have had my bike to a few other shops in the past, will only bring my bike back to Dan and his crew.

Tom n I took both our bikes there. Choose them because we called to see if they had a part in stock. They had it pulled and ready without being asked. We said no hurry on bikes, still done in under a week. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Most deff return customers.

The excellent technicians at Katy Custom Cycle did it again! They installed new tires and brakes, and now this bike feels like it rides on rails! They got to it very quickly, which is a miracle considering how busy they are, but they really know their stuff because everything they fix stays fixed (unlike the Harley dealership, which failed to solve a simple electrical problem). After three years of service, I can ride with confidence that there will be no problems with their work!

If you own a Harley Davidson motorcycle, this is the best place for repairs, maintenance and add ons. I will only go there in the future. I also saved hundreds of dollars compared to the standard Harley Dealerships. The owner Dan is the man!

I helped a friend of mine trailer his Harley over there to Dans shop in Katy, TX. Dan is super-efficient and a very smart Harley mechanic, self-employed and has his own business and I would recommend any Harley owner to a take their motorcycle by Dans shop and have him work on their bikes. Dan is a super top notch Harley mechanic.
