I wish the associates were more giving with their time regarding tech support. When I get a new device I definitely need help in setting it up & dont appreciate being to look up the info in my phone. I am now in the market for a tablet. Would like to purchase it at Verizon, but would like some assurances that I will get the assistance I need in setting it up IN THE STORE so that when I leave I have a usable device. I dont want to take it home & stress over setting it up myself because I really dont understand it. Been there, done that & dont want to do it again. Just give me a little actual customer service please.

I, somehow, changed the settings on my phone & didnt know to bring in back into working order. Zane, the manager, was a wonder at solving the problemIt only took him a few minutes to bring it back into working order. (He also set it so the problem will never happen again!) What is the point of this store if they can’t help anyone but sell you phones!?My mom went in to get help with her phone yesterday and then again today and they both directed her to call 1800 number because “they couldn’t do anything”. I think these stores are also to be able to help people. She finally asked him what his job was and he finally got on the phone to figure out why her phone wasn’t working. While she was in there 2 different people came in to pay bill and he told them to go to main store to pay bill. Was rude to her when she demanded help. What a fricken joke how this place is ran! Either they are lazy or your company needs to reevaluate your business!

HORRIBLE customer service. Employees were denying customers help today after they waited in line for 45 minutes. I have never been treated worse by an employee than today when I got told that my problem wasnt worth their time after another employee just the day before told me that Verizon could help me with my issue. The employee today refused to help me and said that the guy I spoke to the day before wasnt working and he wasnt going to waste his time. AWFUL place. Other customers were being treated horribly as well and there was a yelling match when I walked in. Very rude employees that are unprofessional in every way. This is not just a first time occurrence. They have treated my other family members poorly as well. We will be switching services to a new company that values customer service and professionalism.

I stopped in to purchase a new phone. I had done the research and knew what I wanted. Both this store and Hilltop store argued with me that I would not like it because it wasnt 5g. They kept pushing me to get a 5g phone even though I said I wouldnt use half of the stuff it offered. Why push someone to pay for a phone they dont want. I ended up walking out of both stores with no new phone. Im going to Best Buy.

I ordered the iPhone 12 Pro through the online services and asked to pick up at the store. This store had all of my items except for a charging pad. So when I showed up to get my order they said they can’t give me any of it since they don’t have a charger pad in stock even though I’ve already paid for all the items. I proceeded to ask the teammates what I had to do to get the phone and other accessories without the charger pad. They told me I had to CANCEL the entire order and then reorder it in order to get the things I’ve already paid for. So I call the reordering number through their man menu and while I’m connected with someone and explaining the situation the online representative cancelled my line. So I had to go into the store to get a new SIM card and my phone fixed. Call another customer service representative to be put on hold for 20 mins for her to tell me there’s nothing to do and I’ll have to wait until the next day at 10 am when they get more charger pads. The teammates told me my order would be ready at 10 AM. I arrive there at 10:30 am and the teammates proceed to tell me the order won’t be ready until the shipment comes between 11-1 o’clock. I’ve wasted 5/6 hours of my time because of a charger pad, dysfunction, and miscommunication. Very poor customer service at Verizon.

I was directed by employees to call a “special team” to switch my plan from that of a business designation to personal. After calling the “special team” I was given specific instructions to call a number from inside Verizon store as the number requires a Verizon employee ID number. The employee insisted on doing things “his way” and it failed. When I asked if maybe one of the employees in the store could simply follow the direction of the “special team”, the employee said he felt threatened, told me to leave, and said he had a button to push to alert the police. No voices were raised, no threats were made. I guess in 2021 anyone can use “I feel unsafe” and simply get what they want and curb responsibility. It’s a joke. I’m sure there are employees at this store who are problem solvers but I didn’t have the opportunity to interact with them.

Changed to Verizon last summer and this is the worst service in my life. Cant wait to return to US Celluar and simply am amazed why people like Verizon. A bunch of rip-off artists, and I mean artists at a high level. Tried many times to resolve serious issues and have never made it past the power level staff. Worst customer service i have experienced. Straightalk is much better but any is better.

I went to this store last night at 6:15 (they close at 7), I could see there were no customers in the store and the employees were just sitting around doing nothing. I walked in (with a mask on) and everybody looked at me like deer in the headlights and a “security guard” freaked out and told me to step outside. He then told me I couldn’t come in the store without an appointment. I told him I’m just looking to return a phone that we decided against, but they refused to help me. I went out to my car to make an appointment and the earliest I could make it was Tuesday (5 days later). I called customer service and asked if this was some kind of corporate policy that you couldn’t just walk in the store and they said no! I’m so appalled they would treat a customer like that, I’ve been with Verizon since I got a cell phone in 2003! What is wrong with these people?! This was after I drove 30 miles to get to this store, by the way.

I had an appointment set up at this location and arrived with my son. I was told that I wasnt allowed to have my son at the appointment. I was not told this when setting up the appointment. I told him I had a mask for my son, had nowhere else to take him, and there was nobody else even at the store at the moment. He just shrugged and said sorry, nothing I can do and walked away. When I called an associate at the call center, I was told that the policy should have an exception for a parent that doesnt have anywhere to take their child, and that they were very sorry about how rude the employee was. They were so embarrassed, they advised me to write a complaint to corporate, something they said they never do. Thankfully the call center employee saved Verizon a sale, and the other employees that were there for the pick up of my new phone were helpful.

I am not one to love to spend money! Right when I entered the store I was directed towards a lady. I did my research so I had an idea of what I wanted. But I asked just for their knowledge and they continue to upsell, but not provide me with any reason as to why I should buy the phone they’d like and continued to provide me with the opposite knowledge I found on their website. I do not like that the entire experience was them trying to get my money and not providing any tech support.

Ive had Verizon for a long time. The last few times Ive needed help at this location have been awful. I walk in, they ask what I want, I tell them, I get an answer of: go online to this site, use My Verizon, or call this number. Today we were kicked out of the store, while I was on hold to get help, when my husband asked after a while why they couldnt help us in the store. It was to cancel our home phone line because we are moving. They dont do that here. (Thats the store we set it up at.) My husband asks Well, what do you do here. Cell phones. This goes back and forth a few more times and we were told to leave. The associate couldnt give us a different answer besides saying cell phones three times. Well, Ive gone in for cell phones before and received no help either. Our three lines is no skin off Verizons back to cancel, but, where is peoples decent customer service anymore? We werent in a hurry. My husband wasnt mad. I was/am. Over a half hour on the phone, I got to talk to someone and Im shutting down Verizon. So disappointing.

Horrible!! I went in to get a new phone because mine was damaged beyond repair. Wore a mask. Was told that I could not look at the phones in the store. I definitely had some choice words. How can anyone expect someone to buy a phone that costs hundreds of dollars without looking at a phone? Manger seemed to be upset that people have come in complaining about this and the whole covid impact. Said that I needed to watch my language, I was obviously annoyed at this point. Said he would call the authorities. Over a phone? Over wanting to see a phone before I spent hundreds of dollars on it? Ridiculous!! I always have a great experience at this store. The sales staff are friendly, personable and never pushy. This last time I needed a new phone activated as it has a smaller SIM card slot and I forgot their phone! Rather than asking me to drive 30 minutes back home they figured out a solution for me. You are really in good hands at this store!

They didnt know the deals and told me wrong, so I missed out on $50 when switching to Verizon due to their false knowledge. They told me auto pay would take $10 off but it only took $5 off my bill. They told me to receive the bonus deal I didnt have to do anything and it would be mailed to my home. WRONG AGAIN! You have to go to a unique website and type in the promo code. Im fine with leaving 1 star, at least they were nice when they robbed me..

I went into this store today looking for help with some major issues I’m having with my iPhone 7 that we recently paid off. Long story short, I walked into this store to find several male employees standing around (there were no other customers in the store). I was greeted by 1 very nice guy that was eager to help me and answer my questions. When he couldn’t completely answer everything for me or resolve the issues I was having, I nicely asked to speak to a manager. I called my husband to explain what was going on and and the manager came out and asked what I wanted from him, no greeting, no hello, nothing. I had my husband quietly on speaker phone (because the manager refused to speak to him on the phone since he wasn’t physically in the store with me) so he could hear our conversation. The manager again asked me what I wanted and told me basically there was nothing he could do for me, told me my issue wasn’t their problem (didn’t offer to help me in ANY way), my only option was to spend more money on another phone, treated me like a complete idiot, insulted me, accused my husband of threatening him when he heard him say that we would take our business elsewhere if we couldn’t get this issue resolved and told me that our conversation was over. I have never been more embarrassed and humiliated in my entire life. I truly felt like he was treating me like an idiot because I was a woman by myself in his store needing help and ALL of his male employees just stood there watching. No one offered any advice or any help. He didn’t care at all that we will no longer be customers with Verizon. We have a business account and pay approx $450 a month there...I will never step foot in that store ever again. As business owners, we would be mortified to find out if any of our employees EVER treated our customers the way we were treated today. There may have been limited options to help me, but the way they treated me was completely unacceptable.

We have had Verizon for years, recently my mother who is 83 moved to Kearney, her only means of communication is her cell phone. She was having problems with her phone charging so I told her to take it to Verizon, when she got to this location her phone was on 1% the store was open but because of the Covid issue they were not allowing anyone in. She asked if they would please just take a look at the phone, the sales person said NO we can’t help you, if your phone was dead we could order you a new one, then the sales person told her to go across the street and have HYVEE help her with a new charger. My mother went across the street and a very kind man helped her with a new charger and even took the time to make sure the phone was charging. I realize that the Covid situation was a problem however the least they could have done was check the phone out, she didn’t need to go in the store. She just needed help.

I like that for the most part they attend to you quickly but I don’t like the conversations that go on. I was trying to get help with one of the representatives and a group of guys (other employees) were talking dirty making inappropriate remarks that were extremely unprofessional. Recently my phone sent me a message saying ot was out of memory. Zane at the Kearney, NE store discovered it wasnt automatically transferring photos to the memory stick. My phone is old and a little slow, like me, so it took a long time for him to get the photos transferred. He was very patient and took the extra time needed. I so appreciate his helpfulness and have met so many nice, helpful associates at the Kearney store I will definitely go there to buy my next phone. Thank you!

If I had the option to give 0 stars I would. Rudest employees and service my family and I have ever recieved from any company. I wanted to completely cancel all of our phone lines after coming here. They were pushing us out the door before we were even inside. Any type of question we tried to ask, they told us to call a number and continued to push us out the door. She went to the Kearney location and was informed that they could not help because they were corporate and didnt work with agents. Read this to the END. I just bought a brand new Samsung 10 plus and when I was making my purchase they told me I could get a bundle for only $99. They told me I will get a wireless charger a phone case and a screen protector for $99. Just today I came back to Verizon to pay off my phone and they charged me 138 for the bundle. I talk to there Supervisor because one of his employees told me that the bundle was only going to be $99, and all he told me was, I need to go back home and get All the accessories I got to trade it in for something that was worth $99. The supervisor could not even give me store credit or just put it as 99 dollars. Two of his Employees were tell me I was getting a good deal the day I got my phone. So I would never buy a phone or Accessories from them again you could just go to Best Buy and buy the phone for $800 then a $1000 accessories you can get them in Amazon. They did a poor job fixing a issue that two of there Employees did.

Terrible store. Reccommend literally any other verizon store. I came in for an upgrade and while 3 staff sat around a desk too lazy to assist I had to come and ask questions about my phone and upgrade they were incredibly unhelpful. If I could rate it with NEGATIVE stars I would because of the rep that helped or rather tried to force an order and sale on me. Went in to get my son signed up on my plan, of course the first rep to step up was willing to make his commission. No phone in stock but could order online and have shipped to store which doesnt work when you live 90 miles from the store. So he switched it up that we could still order it online right from the store and have it shipped to me. So he had me sign in to my Verizon account on their computer. He quickly jumped thru pages and placed an iPhone 7+ in the cart and I said Wait my boy doesnt want Rose Gold!. Oh lets go back then and jumps thru some more pages and this time its silver, No I said he wants black my son is standing right beside me. Well silver is the only color in stock is the reply I get to which I replied no I saw that there was 4 or more colors to choose from. No only silver as he is clicking through the agreements etc and then he went ahead and clicked ORDER! I said Wait what are you doing, youre phone is ordered sir. No log out of my damn account, this is BS. He would not do it so I stepped in and logged them off my account all together. Grabbed my son and left the store. I called Verizons customer service to be told that yes this rep, whom I did not get his name, had one ahead and pushed the order thru and was able to so so because we have our acct with auto pay so he was able to force the charges through on it without any permissions from me. Customer Service reps were able to cancel his order and refund my account. Thought this needed to be known as I can see alot of people being forced by this snake to make purchases they do not need or want. Done going to the Kearney Store.

Horrendous customer service. Been with them for 20 years due to no other reliable cell service. Cant wait for a better carrier.I saw the reply from the store. Which just shows they dont care about the custome.r no real follow up or asking what went wrong. So typical for that store. Brian Fountain helped my parents with switching our service to Verizon. I am from out of state so I had to pick up my new phone at a different store. Long story short he was doing some very shady things in order to increase his commission. Thankfully my rep at the store I went to here in Colorado caught on and was able to reverse the damages he had done. Avoid this store at all costs. I have previously worked for Verizon so I am disgusted by the service. Was told by a worker I would have to pay for a replacement on a 14 day replacement. When I asked why she said I dont know. I called customer service and they tried to contact the store, no answer. Contacted customer service a couple more times before going back into the store again for the same replacement. CC had called them a couple other times with no answer.The next person lied to my face and said We dont do exchanges, we only sell new. Complete lie, but I was frustrated with the whole thing so I just let him order me a new one. I check the order, it now being the 14th and last day that I can replace it in store, to find that he ordered the incorrect phone.If I could select zero stars, I absolutely would.

I wish an abundance of luck to anyone who is trying to get a hold of an actual human at this location. The telephone prompt has an option to speak to an in store associate - after 30 seconds it has the option to stay on hold for longer, after another 30 seconds the only option it to speak to someone nationally, if you do not choose that option it will hang up on you. I have tried calling them multiple times and nothing ever changes. The outrageous amounts they are charging on their bills are most obviously not going into hiring anyone who is remotely helpful.

Overcharge you for everything. can get the same phone and way cheaper with straight talk, and they dont overcharge you ridiculous amounts for data. have to pay up front for a phone, but i did the math, and you can buy a new best and latest smartphone every six month with the money you would save on verizons monthly charges. customer service is bad. good luck talking to an actual person.
