Amazing Mexican shopping, things that you wouldnt normally find in a normal store!
I love love their produce department. Amazing meat department as well.
I love how fresh their vegetables are all the time and way cheaper than anywhere else
Great prices and offer a variety of items.
Rancho is awesome! The fruits and veggies tend to be a great price; same as the wide selection. I was a bit sad seeing the store replaced the cashiers with electronic ones. But overall, still a great store. Totally reminds me of Mexico Lindo :)
This place has almost everything you will need for a Mexican meal. On my most recent visit the guys stocking the grocery were very nice and helpful. I have had some issues here before though. One time the manager on duty was super rude to us during checkout. And also, now that they have self checkout, the person in charge of the station is a bit too alert. She got right into my personal space to check to make sure I wasnt stealing something. If you cant trust your customers not to steal, maybe you shouldnt have a self checkout. Overall, it is a good store, if you are willing to deal with a bad checkout experience.
Love their hot food. The ladies are always nice and try to work with me on our language barrier.
Very good food very clean food
Overall great place to shop. Good selection of fruits and vegetables, pastries, meats, and imports.
Real impressive produce aisle, could not believe it and the selection of peppers about blew my mind, and cheeses. I probably hadnt been in Rancho Market for 10 to 15 years so I really enjoyed myself Probably sounds pretty dumb for a white boy to be talking like this, but Mexican food is my favorite and Ive been doing a lot of Mexican dishes.
The staff was helpful and friendly. A lot of ethnic food which was great.
Rate 10/10. The groceries and deals are good. The music is bomb, you get in a good dance while shopping. People are alright but I mean arent they always? Anyways def recommend getting groceries here (:
I like shopping there the only problem I have is when you go to ask anybody that works in there none of them want to speak English to you but they want to take English money but nobody understands anything you say at least they dont act like it anyway I guess this would go towards the owner of the company you need to get more people in there that can speak English
Great place! love the atmosphere and the food is fantastic
I really enjoy shopping at Rancho Market. The produce I buy is usually cheaper than the regular grocery stores, often by a large margin. The onions are an excellent price and so were the Roma tomatoes. I even tried the Mexican squash because I was curious about it; I prefer zucchini but it was fun to try something new. Im also really happy with the chicken legs in the family pack, theyre some of the largest Ive ever seen and they taste great!Even the customers are really nice; I asked a lady who was shopping with her kids if she knew where the guacamole seasoning might be and she kindly took time to show me where she thought it was. It wasnt there but we had a nice visit while we were looking. We parted ways and about 10 minutes later one of her children brought me the seasoning packets. Such a nice lady. Then I went to the cafe for salsa. The ladies there didnt speak English and couldnt find anyone who did right then so I used my (very) rudimentary Spanish and we made it work. All in all a really nice shopping trip.
There was not any oranges in the entire store. Everything else was priced good and Im glad they have oxtails but no oranges thats strange
Friendly clean, smelled great, and fast check out
Love this place, cheap produce, great selection, their bakery and cafetera are pretty good as well. This is your one stop shop for all your latin american cuisine. Or if you just want insanely cheap produce.
I dont know why but I feel like every time I go into this place I am unwelcome. I love culture and I love Hispanic food I just wish that I felt more welcomed and didnt have to give myself a pep talk to walk through those doors. I wouldnt mind going shopping here more often for me and my family.
Great customer service, great products, friendly, helpful staff!
Best prices for your vegetables.
Used to like this place until yesterday, got the worst experience from the self checkout attendant Lidia M. She is the most impolite, aggressive person I have ever encounter. I have no idea why is she in the customer service business.
What a ridiculous staff (Karla the manager) I purchased a tres leches desert and attempted to purchase a single person tres leches cake. Both weighed about the same. The cashier said the one in the pic was .99 cents and the cake was $3.99 I said well that doesn’t seem right. I don’t speak Spanish and she wasn’t quite sure so she asked her co-worker than the cashier walked to check the price. Came back and said it’s actually $4.99. (Mind you there’s no price tag for either product) The price tag was for Flan! I told her no thank you I will just get 2 of the .99 cent ones. So I did the switch, getting the rest of my things rung up getting ready to pay and the manager walks by and my cashier says something to her in Spanish. The manager looks to me and says that sale ended last week those are no longer $.99 cents there $1.79 do you still want them? Wait what!!!! First of all I bought 1 last week and it wasn’t for no $.99 cents more like a $1.50 and all my stuff is already rung up and now you’re telling me if I want them I need to pay almost double. Moral of the story is Rancho Market and it’s management decides on prices based on the person. Smith’s makes a tres leches that will do just fine.
Best prices, you can save great deal on groceries at Ranco Markets
The store clean and easy to locate what you are looking for. Employees are very helpful. When I come back I just might go there again.
Very nice place and nice staff, parking outside isnt so great as there is a hill and very little parking in tight space
Always clean and great deals 👌
Big volume of produce
Love to get my carne asada here ...they do charge you $3.00 extra on your total purchase as a covid 19 surcharge...
They have good prices on many items they have a fair two large Meat selection Im products not seen in other stores.
Great prices on produce. We like shopping here.
Everything is great but the meat section is a bit rough
Good pineapple upside down cake.
Great prices, amazing meats, awesome selection, friendly employees. I will definitely be returning. You can tell that management takes great care in keeping their staff and customers happy, and their store clean, neat, freak products and well stocked.
We love Rancho, mostly for their produce. They often have a variety of fruits and vegetables that you cant find anywhere else in town and the prices are usually notably lower too. :)
Love to go there after work and pick up dinner there, they offer a variety of authentic mexican dishes 😋
Great market with a restaurant that serves great food.
Yummy food, yummy place for groceries
I’m from New Mexico and it’s hard to find authentic Mexican food here in Utah. The food court is located in the grocery store. It’s not fancy but the food is the closest we had to back home. Good Mexican food and you don’t get table service but none of that matters cause the food is amazing!
Great affordable food.
HERTCECHERCR
Love that place.
We go here quiet a bit. My kids love going here too. Its not like the main stream shops. Love the great selections of ethnic items they have and its pretty good priced. We go a least 1 time a week to shop or at least look around. Highly recommended
Great little market. I love the great produce and variety!
I love that I live close to a place where I can find Mexican products! This place is always clean and the service is great. The only thing I have to say is to make sure that you park in their parking, because the raspado place does not share parking.
Not the best but I find almost everything that I need..
I love this place.
The new store is bright and inviting. It is well stocked and you can find things easily.
Great selection of Mexican food! Love the bakery and their new La Michoacana Ice cream shop! The store is always clean and the produce looks nice
The new location on 54th is so nice and as always, clean. All the produce is great and again, as always, unbeatable prices. Great service and kind associates.
I love the sales on produce and meat! Lucky grocery store also has great sales on produce and meats.
Their bakery is amazing. The produce is spot on. I am not sure about the butcher block cause I havent tried it yet. Everyone we have been in contact with have been very helpful and nice. I really like this store
Great deals on produce. Love it
Dont know. I left there 3hours ago.
Great prices on meat and great salsas. I also love the burnt peanuts
Love the produce. They work hard at keeping it fresh, clean, abundant, and easy to find. The atmosphere sometimes feels like I dont quite fit in because I dont speak Spanish.
Worse customer services they always over charge me, they charge you different price then what they mark in stores I went to the store to buy a few things I notice they had a great deal on some fruit, when I was ready to pay I realized she was over charging for a few items for a small watermelon they had 3 watermelons for 5 and she was charging me over 6 dollars for just one watermelon, I got zucchini 4lbs x $1 in Spanish is calabaza there was 3 different kinds all together and the sign it said calabaza on it, she was charging me over 1.50 per pound I asked her why she said it was the wrong calabaza I told her they were all together were the sign was she said they can do what ever they want in there store so I decided to leave the watermelon and calabaza my total with out it should had been less then 20 she was charging me 38 I keep asking her to let me see the items in the computer she keep covering it a supervisor came and told me I was charge correctly I purchase 10 things and it showed I was charged 14 Items, the supervisor was unprofessional she told me if she was the owner she would it handle it different and not on my favor
A very cool and fun place to learn about the Mexican colture. I bought a cactus flower bud, they told me how to prepare it, when I ate it it was almost like it melted Im my mouth. I recommend going and getting it.
Love getting my produce and meat here. They have great prices
The store its ok, love the store and products, the problem happend today as i was walking to my vehicle the manager approached me accusing me in front of other people of leaving my kids outside unattended, and threatened to call authorities, i understand and appreciate the concern, i agree its wrong when parents do it, i have my self call the police before on this kind of situations, the problem was that my father in law was in the vehicle with my kids, managment or security personal didnt bother to go check before wrongfully accusing me and my husband, and not even apologizing afterwards, it was embarrassing and it was not ok! I hope next time they check before accusing customers and for sure apologized after making this kind of statements.
Good store and great prices.. variety of vegetables and fruits plus other groceries.. Good food and serving área, I fully recommend it
Go here for deals on produce mostly, but it is a decent grocery store with an Hispanic angle to how they sell stuff. Interesting cultural experience if nothing else. Wish the isles werent so narrow
Crazy deals on produce, like 5 pounds for a dollar sometimes. If you eat a lot of produce and go through it quick, this is the place! Also you can find things at Rancho that you cant find at a regular grocery store. If you eat a lot of Mexican food, this place is must on your shopping trip. Also spices sold in bulk.
We live to get all the groceries at our Rancho Markets. We love the freshness and the selection of real Hispanic products. The leadership of Rancho Markets has nailed by providing the produce and products we need. We also can tell the price is better than any other big box markets, for all these I recommended to my family and friends. You can also pay your phone bill and send money. Everything under one roof.
I usually like to shop here. They do have some good deals. Shopping when you dont speak Spanish is a risk. The employees all speak English, that isnt the problem. They just figure you dont understand the ads. And so you get over charged for some of the meats. You can have the ad in hand, and say that is what you want. And they say, this is it. When it isnt. There is a difference between diesmillo and espaldilla. Or medium and Mexican shrimp. I stopped going to the West Valley location because of this. And now it looks like its time to find another store. Anayas market is close, and have great deals too.
I love this place. Always feels like home when I walk in. Love the salsa they serve w their molcajete in the kitchen. One of my favorite places in town. :)
Great selection of meats and ready made salsa. Friendly staff. Very good price on short ribs(plain or marinated). I like the small corn tortillas and the stock them.
This place has the best fruit and veggies in town, the aisles are kind of tight, but if you need fruit this is the place to go.It is set up a little different than most in the U.S. are used too, Groceries, The Meat department, and the Pastry/Cake department are all separate purchases. You buy meat or pastries you pay as you pick them up, then move on to your groceries.
Great place for food.
Rancho market was great, good selection of pretty much anything youre looking for. Good friendly service, Always !!
I have never had a problem. Love their tortillas, produce, meats, US products a bit high in price, but otherwise I love to shop at your store. Very clean and your personal are well trained! Thank you!
Is good place
Always has happy and friendly employees! Good prices on vegetables.
Seriously these women in the cafe are old fashioned Mexican cooks they have the best hands at making Mexican food homemade tortillas. SO GOOOOD!
They had a huge bag of plantain chips which my son loves
Always great prices on veggies and fruits. Great place to get some exotic or hard to get fruits at an affordable price. Great bakery, but theres never been a day when they are not short of churros... Their small restaurant is short of three stars... Too bad though, they could do a lot better. Meat department follows, short of four. Not the best in town. Smiths and Reams still beat them in quality and prices over their meat dept.
Good customer service
The seasoned meat is good. However the cost isnt always great. They could do a better job cleaning the place up, and providing a better quality plantain..
Horrible!!!! placed an order on the phone, got there and they were asking around to see if someone had done my food. Had to wait 20 min.
Always fun to go in to. Their produce is cheap and its fun to see fruits and vegetables Ive never seen. They could improve on the building. Its small and cramped.
The new one is nice and big and the produce is really fresh. Love the prices too
The best, most reasonable produce in the city that Ive discovered. Very good variety from many Latin countries. Cheaper than any supermarket. Guaranteed.
I am not Hispanic, but this store has most of the things suited to Indian taste at a very good price. If you want to be frugal you can get your fruits and veggies at a cheaper price than. Other grocery stores.I love their bakery as Well, especially the tresleche cake.Say Gracias to all and they will take care of you 😜
Nice prices but watch out!! for the cashier! there is always an item or two they advertise on flyer, and signage one price but ring up another. You have to prove it and they try to refuse. It is getting worse too. Also flier says one price and they forgot and wont honor it.
Great for a Hispanic grocery store. Great food sold in their kitchen. Poor selection of non Hispanic goods
Store is always clean and the prices on produce are amazing. Everything is way fresh.. love it
Was great they have a lot of good stuff and good prices too.
Good prices and great produce. Watch the ads for really good specials. Note that this is a very authentic Mexico bodega experience, meaning the store is dirty and stinks, the music is too loud, and the restaurant will touch your food with their bare hands.
Always expect the same. Nothing really changes from good produce prices but sometimes the quality isnt always the best. Customer service is a joke here, no one knows anything so dont bother asking.
Nobody comes close to the produce prices of Rancho. The produce is high quality too. This store has a decent restaurant and the cakes in the bakery are beautiful.
Great prices clean store great produce department. 👍
If you are looking for a cake DO NOT GET IT FROM THIS PLACE!!! I bought a cake for son a Tres leches cake when we cut the cake the frosting was really hard and I had just gotten the cake a couple hours earlier, not only that but the milk smelled spoiled and tasted bad the fruit look old and it didnt look like a fresh cake. When I called the store to complain they told told me to bring it in. The Manager and other employees where tasting the cake and told me there was nothing wrong with the cake.Never will go there rude and have no care for customers.
You have to try their chorizo! One of my co workers brought it to a work BBQ, and everyone loved it. Huge hit! Their Carne Asada/El Pastor are fairly priced and always good quality
This is the worst grocery store I have ever been to. The meat counter smelled like rotten meat. The aisles we too narrow. There was too much product in a small building. Customers and employees were horribly mean. Checker could not even be bothered to say hello. Bagger gave us negative comments. The low prices were not worth the bad experience. I would give zero stars if I could.Other locations of this store are excellent, but the location in Kearns was horrible.
The food good for first time there
They speak English here, dont be afraid to shop here everyday of the week. Super friendly.
This Rancho is not as nice as the one on 33rd so. But our still has great Latin market products, bakery and restaurant. Too many white folks avoid places like this. Great it as an adventure and learn about new foods and culture. There are awesome things here. Today I was looking for culantro and they thought there was some in the back they looked for a while and came up short, Ill forgive them its not an ingredient most places have.
