Thank you to Robert and the rest of the staff for taking care of our car after an unexpected break down on the turnpike. The process went so smooth that my 4 year old remained sleep while we were being helped. Great company... awesome staff.

From start to finish, this has been the worst towing experience I have had to endure. The towman was rude when he arrived and explained the rules in a way that was curt and impolite. It was expensive to tow it a few miles and keep it over the weekend, which is frustrating when there is no discussion about that prior and it forces the hand of the driver.In addition, now that I have seen my vehicle, I have found that the front bumper is broken and must be replaced. I will be filing a police report and contacting the management.

I rarely write reviews but I just wanted to share my great experience with Moran towing. I unfortunately hit one of those lovely potholes on the turnpike and Moran towing came to my rescue. Not only were they incredibly professional but went over and above with their customer service and even brought me a bottle of water while I waited for my ride. I would highly recommend them for anyone in need of their services.

Horrible place! I got my car towed there from an accident and all my things were missing!! Personal items Im my car, and the back of the trunk! I even have pictures to prove it. I called the rude dispacter and she acted like it wasnt their problem 😠. Very rude people and they steal your things!!!

No complaints.My car got towed due to a snow storm we had.I left it in the main road and which is a tow away zone when snows.I called moran automotive and towing and they took their time to explain the procedure to retrieve my car. I have never had the experience of needing my car to be towed due to a highway break down so I cant comment on their efficiency on this subject.

The people were very polite and helpful. The yard was the cleanest tow yard Ive ever seen.

I called them in a panic! The driver arrives within 10 minutes and is very nice and polite even when he pointed out to me that the car was not in park and that is why it would not start! 😝

Unless youre forced to use them by the police cause youre stuck on the NJ turnpike, do yourself a favor and stay away, I cant believe that the police uses this company.Ive have been forced to use them twice, 1st time was on thanksgiving of 2017, they towed one of my trucks off the highway less than a mile and charged $1300 and change, 2nd time the mechanic was right behind the tow truck but wouldnt let him work on the truck, I was lucky I didnt have to pay for the towing, (For the record, in the end the whole repair took less than 15 minutes...)

Nice and quick response

Decent place. The woman who answers the phone and is the front desk woman needs an attitude change and manners. Also if no one is at the desk none of the guys sitting around at the computers in the back will get up to help. They just look over at you and shrug you off. When a guy who works there walked in and asked them if anyone was taking care of me they said no laughing. He came over and was helpful. Those two reasons they get two stars.

I had a very bad experience with this towing company they towed my vehicle and damaged it.. They took no responsibility for it completely denied it. The managers are very unprofessional and uneducated I made numerous calls and went there in person numerous of times since they will totally ignore my messages. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

They towed my car because it was disabled due to an accident on Wednesday (12/18). By Monday (12/23), I wanted to get my belongings out of my car bc I was still waiting for Geico to assess the damages.The woman at the front desk told me that I had to pay the full amount in order to get my belongings out, $297 bc Geico had not contacted them yet about assessing the car. I decided to take my car out completely and ship it somewhere else since I had to pay the full amount in order to get some belongings out of my car. Once I paid, they told me I could not get my car out because they couldnt move the other cars that were in front of my car.I noticed that my car had scratches that wasnt there before it was towed. The woman said I could speak to the manager, once he came out the bathroom. The manager hid in the bathroom for almost 10 minutes trying to avoid me. Once out of the bathroom, I asked can we speak outside again. He immediately replied, if you have a complaint go to the cops. I asked can we speak outside, he began to say how he dont know me, I could be anybody.. Why would he go outside with me?.. the situation escalated quite quickly and badly.The owner came and resolved my issue an and let triple a tow my car from their property without further incident.They get two stars because of their managers nasty attitude, and he denounced his supervisor position bc he didnt want to help me.

My 83 yr old grandmother got ran off the road by a fuel hauler and rolled her car 8 cvs into into a ditch mr.moran himself got to the seen before police ask rescued her from a burning car I am forever grateful they put compassion above money did not charge me a thing . God bless them.

I feel sorry for you if have to deal with these people. The facility when you walk in its filled with negative energy. The few times I came in every single customer that walked in was unhappy and or having some sort of inconvenience with them. Including my self. They dont even have a proper price structure and make you go through hell just get a quote and receive payment. I dont know how they are still in business which such terrible customer service. Your in for the worst experience of your life having to deal with them. If you brake down on highway i95 make sure to tell dispatch to avoid this towing company. Your at you own risk here.

Never used their service, however truck number 65 on monday Sept 23rd almost ran me off the rode intentionally as I entered the highway. And after reading other reviews I am not surprised they treat other drives that way. Horrible 😑

If I could give them zero stars is would..I was contacted today by an employee Nicole of Moran through Facebook messenger and was told I had a Mercedes Benz in their lot I assured her that I did not or have never owned a Mercedes. She then continued to say that it had my plates and it has been there since the beginning of june!! What!!! I told her I had the plate ran and it belonged to a 1992 Honda civic now I have had many Honda civics in my lifetime but was always anal about returning my plates to motor vehicles.in a panic I thought someone in motor vehicles had stolen my plates and probably did something illegal with this vehicle! A nervous wreck I reached out to a family member who is a police office and he told me that if the plates were never returned Motor Vehicles would have sent me a letter to let me know to return plates of face possible license suspension and that he has never heard in his 10 years on the job of some tow company reaching out to people on Facebook messenger. He also advised me to ask other questions and when I did I was told by nicole she was waiting on the answer..after like 5 mins she writes back to tell me her girl at Motor Vehicles typed the wrong letter and it was not my plates after all..I called and asked to speak to her but was brushed off by the other lady who answered the phone...I dont knoe what type of scam they are running here but I told her I was filing a police report and have screenshots of all the messages...she then sent 7 messages afterwards apologizing..then she went on to say she mistyped a letter lies she said previously thats her girl at motor vehicles mistyped a letter. Lies after lies trying to scam people for money thats what it looks like.

My truck was stolen and left on the roadside by hauler thieves. These A-holes towed my truck to their yard and stole all my handy tools along with toolboxes, GPS, bluetooth headphone, EZ-Pass. If the police did not contact me in a timely manner, these effers were going to steal my rims and tires! When I got there, my truck was on wooden planks ready to have the tires removed! These people are worse than the thieves who originally stole my truck! I wish I had proof so I can file a lawsuit but I am 110% sure these people stole whatever they can get their hands on. Karma is a B-IACH, watchout and dont EVER use these A-holes. Most corrupt people out here in NJ... If they force to tow you on the turnpike, tell them to LEAVE, they CANNOT force you to tow your truck. Tell Dispatch to make sure it is not MORAN! THIEVES!!!!!!!

This company sucks. Not sure why they have the Turnpike contract, but was told half an hour. An hour later, they told me it would be another 15 minutes.The people on the phone were unhelpful and unsympathetic. They had bad attitudes and didn’t care at all.

If you ever have your vehicle towed to their yard pick it up immediately. They run a price gouging scam charged our company $1000 for 14 days storage. We pay $200 monthly to store at other lots. I wouldnt expect to ever get a fair price from them on any service based on that markup!

Breaking down on the Turnpike is scary enough but managing repairs is even worst. Beware of Moran Towing. We called the Turnpike Authority after pulling to the shoulder when the car began loosing speed, reving high and I smelled smoke. Once safely on the side we looked under the hood and saw brown liquid spurting out and leaking on the ground and smoking. We decided to have it towed not to risk causing more damage. A truck from Moran showed up in no time. The driver was friendly and eager to get the car on the flatbed and over to the repair shop, No problem. Except it was Saturday evening and the Garage was closed until Monday. They assured that someone would look at it Monday morning and let me know what the issue was. If you are getting the work done by Moran there would be no daily storage fee otherwise it would be $25 per day. We left the car there and a friend picked us up.MONDAY: Bright and early I called to confirm that a mechanic would look at the car. I was assured that someone would get back to me when they looked at it. After calling over 3 times throughout the day. NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK! The y seemed to be getting testy that I kept calling to find out about MY CAR. The last call went to voice mail informing the they were closed for the day. So I had no idea if anyone even looked at the car.TUESDAY: Again bright and early I called to get status and the disconnect recoring came on. I checked the number and dialed again. Samething. I called from another phone just to make sure I wasnt losing it. Disconnect recoring again. Didnt want to panic so I waited an hour and called back at 9:30 AM. Finally got a live body. Asked about the car and was told no one had looked at it yet. I asked when can I expect to get a status. Was told someone would call me back. I began to fuss since no one called me back yesterday. They said the mechanic just got in and there were several cars ahead of me. I informed them that I am from out of town and I need to get back home and back to work. I insisted that I need him to look at the car today. Within an hour I recieved a call back stating my Transmission was shot and it would cost $3500 to replace it. No explanation on how they reached that conclusion. No diagnostic report. Just pay us $3500 to fix the car. I got the impression that the mechanic didnt even take a good look at the car nor did he make any significant effort to find out what the problem was. He also informed me that he doesnt usually work on my make and model. But would take a look and let me know. At that point I knew I would not be letting him make any repairs.I decided to have the car towed to a different mechanic I could trust for a second opinion. The shoty diagnosis cost $300. I was charged for towing, (fine) storage from Sat. thru Tuesday (eventhough I waited an extra day on them to look at the car) and a diagnostic fee for the mechanic to tell me I need a new transmission. Which I thought it was very strange that he could make that assessment without replacing any of the fluids, hooking the car up to a machine or providing any incline of performing any of the routine assessments Ive experienced Mechanics perform at other repair shops. BEWARE. I would not recommend this place for anything but a TOW. Customer service is poor, Communication and Professionalism non-existent.
