The owner is a scammer and a total rip off, this is my first google post... he has terrible client attention and charges for things that are not related to the problem, stay away from him.

A reputation he earned for himself through his actions over the past 30 plus years. His prices are reasonable, the service Is excellent, Nick Is an outstanding, honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, friendly, remarkable mechanic. Nick goes above and beyond to accommodate his clientele. I can assure you, that you are In good hands with Nick at Woodland Auto Services. He truly cares about the people he serves.

Absolutely a rip off! He quoted me and told me he wouldn’t tell me what’s wrong because he was afraid I would go to another spot that is 100 dollars cheaper. I rather him tell me what’s wrong and I could look it up and check him. His Quote was $1300 and I got all issues fixed (2codes) 3 remotes programmed, and an inspection sticker for $800 at another mechanic. Not sure about his quality but his customer service is poor. He is not reliable with pricing and the whole operation was sketchy. Go somewhere else you won’t regret it.

Today was my first experience with Woodland Auto Services and it will not be the last. I took my car there because i am a big fan of supporting local businesses and their reputation in town is stellar, I was very pleased with the service and attentiveness of their employees. My car is a diesel and oil changes can be pricey. I called around to at least 5 different shops and nick beat everyones price by almost $50. I go to pick my car up and some warning light comes on. Nick and his mechanics all huddle under the hood and remedy the problem within minutes. Then Nick personally takes the car for a test drive to make sure everything was ok with me in the passenger seat. Seems they fixed the problem. Not only did they fix the problem but I received a phone call 30 minutes after I left the shop to make sure the light didnt come back on and the car was driving safley. The way this man runs his shop screams professionalism and quality. It is very hard these days to find an honest mechanic and I think I struck gold. I will definitely refer you to as many people as I can and you have earned a repeat customer. Well done guys!!!

This mechanic put my vehicles license plate on me but I put it wrong and when I went to claim he told me that he had to cut the nut and that he charged me $ 79 and I told him that if they put the plate on me, he shouldnt charge me anything because they installed it. Bad badge and this spoiled, ill-mannered owner took me out of the mechanics telling me that if I dont pay him $ 70, Ill go away so its the worst care, this spoiled man should learn to treat people, unprofessional, from what worse, I do not recommend this mechanic to anyone, there are many more in Kearny and with first-rate service.
