Terrible!! There is always a issue with the prescriptions. Half the time they tell me they don’t have my prescription so I call my doctor and start a complaint meanwhile the script has been there the entire time. I’m not sure why CVS has the worst pharmacy staff that are just completely oblivious. I have to say it’s not just this CVS I’ve been to others and constantly run into someKind of issue.
Pharmacies these days don’t sell medicine alone and with a lot of competition out there, are forced to sell anything under the sun. Not far away is the time that they would start selling vegetables too. This CVS location is no exception too. They have a variety of items that they sell, right from medicines to nail polishes, candies to gift items. I haven’t tried their photo service yet but they have a neat section on the far end of the store.I intended to write this review for the kind consultation that the pharmacists at this location, offer. In specific to Michelle the pharmacist, who attended to my wife’s cold couple of times. She does not send directions from being inside the pharmacy, but steps out of it to first understand what the problem is, take us to the right aisle and gives us the right medicine to take home. The pharmacy as such is clean and all the items are stacked to perfection. The checkout is also fairly easier with staff that are kind and smiling. Not to miss, they have a spacious parking lot.
Their pharmacy staff is the dumbest group of people ever assembled. I asked the young woman who answered the phone what was her name and that was too much. I cant wait for everything to become automated.
This has been the worst experience that I have ever had in my life.I use to go to Shop Rite Pharmacy for over than 12 years never had a problem.CVS just need to educate there staff.Need to have their records straight.Need to evaluate themselves.
This is the worst place and the longest wait ever that’s why I love pharmacy plus they are quick and friendly
In general all cvs have very good services to me better than the competitors
The younger lady in the drop off section in the pharmacy is beyond rude and disrespectful and always seems to be angry and have an attitude. If you don’t like your job then don’t do it or don’t bring your personal feelings to work and be more professional. They should honestly replace her with her with someone happier and mature. Horrible.
Terrible pharmacy. Whoever is running the pharmacy itself is rude and unprofessional. I was hung up on the first time I called. When I called back and finally spoke to someone to ask for a specific refrigerated item that only the pharmacy would carry she immediately transferred me to the front telling me they would know better. Of course the front had no idea about it since it’s a pharmacy item. I give 4 stars to the girl that tried to help me but they lose a star because as the manager went looking for my item, I was disconnected...again.
Photo dept is horrible. Ordered photos Thursday, received an email Thursday evening it was ready for pick up. I went the next day at 5pm to pick up my order and she could not find it. After searching she found it on top of a box with my pictures scattered. She hands me the order and I realize my magnets I also ordered where not there. She said Give me 5 minutes and Ill have them ready. I browsed the store and came back to the counter and she asks me, how can she help me. HUH?! Ummm Im waiting for my magnets... She said she was sorry she was waiting for her coworker to get the magnets from the back. The coworker was ringing up customers and filling balloons with helium.... So far Im about 15 min into waiting. I kindly cancelled my magnet order and asked for a refund. She proceeds to charge me for my photos that I paid online. SMH!!! That ordeal was another 10 min of waiting. All is all, I was there almost a half hour waiting for something I ordered the day before and received confirmation it was ready. Oh! I get home to separate my pictures and there were about 12-18 pictures missing!!!! Not worth the hassle for a refund. This was my go for my pictures. Unfortunately, I will not purchase my photos from here anymore.
Customer service is awful. The wait in the drive thru is ridiculous even when you get a text that the prescription is ready. Literally waited over 20 mins today in the drive thru before getting assistance. Will definitely be switching pharmacies.
I went there for a covid test and no where in the site did it say I had to be in a vehicle.. I dont own a vehicle and I had no $$ for an uber.. I was already panicking and stressing because I needed the results to go back to work... I was crying about this inconvenience and I even went inside to speak to the manager WHO GAVE ME ATTITUDE and literally didnt give a shit... how rude bro.. worst experience ever .. she was just shrugging her arms telling me there was nothing she could do and continued to tell me people without cars Uber here all the time. Okay?? I dont have money for an Uber because I didnt get my paycheck... so that was HIGHLY unfair and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.. lady rolled her eyes and just flat out did not care. I hope she gets fired.
CVS It’s located on Bergen Avenue and Schuyler Avenue in Kearny the CVS is older style CVS however the size in the selection of the store is very good but it could use some renovations
Great customer service
Worst customer service ever in the Pharmacy area, very slow and always you had to wait more than the time that they tell you. Is always the same with the Pharmacy.
I left home and arrived without medication. I phoned my pharmacy in Massachusetts. They suggested I phone a pharmacy here in New Jersey and have the prescription transferred. So I called CVS. I spoke with Jessica here in Kearny New Jersey. What an amazing experience. Jessica and the CVS group here are amazing. They made the prescription transfer simple. I cannot say enough about how pleasant experience was - time saving and hassle-free!! Sean
Why is it so difficult to be nice over the phone? Hate calling the pharmacy, last time coming to get my meds here, im paying for it..im not getting anything free, what is the problem with these people???????????
I like the location & sorroundings. I went there for my passport photo. Its also have a good collections of items. So you will like it.
Such hard working staff! Even with all the rude customers they get who are not aware of the pharmacys procedures they still offer as much guidance as they can! The rude customers expect the staff to do homework on their insurance polices but their job is just to answer questions about medication and to call doctors for anything necessary. Good job guys !
Good pharmacy there quick and get the job done.
The absolute WORST pharmacy technicians. Completely incapable of doing basic job and not caring for any urgency whatsoever. Was told to wait a hour to find out and see if they could fill my prescription. Went to other pharmacy intown and got prescriptions within 15 minutes. WILL NEVER RETURN. this isn’t the first negative experience but definitely was my last.
Horrible service 20 minute wait at drive threw medications are never ready
Nice location and cool place to shop where staff is friendly and prices are good . Love it here :)
Pharmacy staff has always been friendly and helpful with me..well stocked and helpful staff
Terrible service. They do not pick up Dr phone calls. If planning to pick up meds...keep an ambulance on stand by. Youll never get it
As I person that lives in kearny, CVS was my pharmacy, I thought their prices were reasonable until I found out Midtown in kearny was better for me. Im not sure if maybe it was my insurance, because I change it to horizon for my job. Fact is I paid with CVS for a dexalunt? Around $280 and in Midtown for the same brand was less than $100Plus in CVS they have poor service at times. Etc
I called 3 times to get a price on a vaccine, they gave me 3 different prices and one time they said they didnt have it... All im saying is that i spent around 300$ in vaccines, but not in that pharmacy... Think about it, if they are so bad at a simple phone call, how good can they be with the rest?
Worst pharmacy experience Ive ever had. They dont even follow their own posted guidelines. Not only did they call my doctor to request the prescription be changed without my permission, they did so even though I specifically told them not to do that. Furthermore, when I asked them about it they said the doctor had specified the new medication. I went to the doctor who told me CVS had called implying I had requested the meds be changed due to costs, which was a lie. She changed the script reluctantly. As a result of the medicine change, my blood pressure spiked by 20 points! Outrageous malpractice on the part of these hack pharmacists. My doctor agrees. Find another pharmacy.
Let me start off by saying that a this location should not even have a drive thru as after calling In my rx earlier in the morning I was told to return later because the pharmacist needed more time to process the insurance info. This location also needed to order some of my medications in, further inconveniencing things. Whole point of a pharmacy is convenience and stock and this place has neither avoid this location
If I could leave 0 stars I would but I can’t. So I’ll give a 1 star for convenience and everything else BUT THE PHARMACY.The pharmacy staff is very rude. There was amit who has an attitude problem and Vanessa who after learning that cvs does not accept my insurance was basically trying to dismiss me. Like As if I wasn’t a customer. My wife had a prescription there too which I picked up. The attitude and lack of respect I got from this staff actually made me return the prescription and transfer it to another pharmacy. Now let me remind you this is after I have already sat there for fifteen or twenty minutes for them to fill the prescription. Like how did they not catch that problem first waste all my time and then give me an attitude?? How is that customer service. I asked her where else I can go and Vanessa with a snappy attitude responses I work for CVS i don’t work anywhere else. Completely unecessary because she could have just said I don’t know sorry. Like that was an insult to my intelligence reminding me that you work for CVS while I’m standing inside the cvs store with cvs logos everywhere. Like really ?If people don’t like where they work they shouldn’t express that with their customers and maybe with their employer.Definitely never going to a CVS ever again.
Bad pharmacy service
Huge store with lots to choose from. Reminds me of a Walmart they have a little of everything !
Disorganized
The workers and the Pharmacist are great.
This is the best CVS/Pharmacy around, considering the two on belleville turnpike and ridge rd North arlington there is no comparison. I LOVE THIS CVS/PHARMACY!!!!
Horrible customer service. Trying to get a prescription filled. Took 24 hrs and 4 visits, until someone actually remembered to get it done. To top it off Ricky, one of the most unprofessional individual I have dealt with, who started mouthing off from behind the counter blaming his co-workers. My question to CVS is, where do your employees get their credentials, and why do you not properly train everyone accordingly?
New and nice store. Friendly workers as well.
Thanks you for the offer
Great customer service
Great employees
Horrible wait times and they always mess with the prescriptions.
Worst svc in the country
Great customer service
Best CVS in our area for Pharmacy!
Nice people.
Friendly :)
Top,
I really dont like posting bad reviews and for the most part hold off on doing so and just dont ever conduct business with whatever establishment it is that I wasnt happy with but unfortunately in this case I have no other option. My insurance, I guess, has a contract with cvs and I am only able to visit them for prescriptions unless I want to pay out of network. I pick up the same prescriptions monthly and have the same issue every single month. The staff can never find it and I have to do a run around, calling them and my doctor in order to have the issue resolved. At first I thought that maybe my doctor forgot to send the prescription in or that there was some sort of delay on his end but after having the cvs staff find it after hours of calling back and forth I realized it was cvs who is at fault. This happens EVERY SINGLE MONTH. and every month I get the same. I dont believe that this is the fault of the staff (giving them the benefit of the doubt) and think its probably corporate thats run poorly, having a trickle down effect. Regardless, Im pigeon hold to cvs and have to be frustrated every month because I cant get the prescription I need. The moment I have a change in insurance and have the freedom of going to any pharmacy I will most certainly NEVER use cvs again. If you have the option, save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. A pharmacy that cares about getting the medication you need in a timely manner because cvs definitely doesnt.
