I witnessed a manager verbally abuse one of his employees today while I was waiting in line to ask about some tow straps. The young employee handled herself with great composure while the male manager continued to tell her that she did something wrong while another employee which I believe was her supervisor was trying to tell the Manager that it was actually his (the supervisors) fault. The Manager was having none of it and continued to just lay into this female employee and the whole store could hear it. I eventually just stepped up to the counter and asked if she could help me find something. She did and she is an exceptional employee; very helpful and knows her products. That manager however needs some sensitivity training.

Love this place! We can always find what we want for the price we want. Everyone who works there is friendly and can help us with suggestions for any project. The table saw we purchased is GREAT!

Good place to pick up Chinese tools! Very clean location albeit a little unstaffed.

This store is pretty good. Although there web site is not updated. Checked the inventory and it said item was in there so i went up there and it wasnt. 20 miles one way. And then the salesman tried to sell me another item that was 80 bucks more.

The girl at the checkout was very friendly...Im from mass. & Im not used to being treated nicely in a store....Otherwise, Hobo frieght has nothing but JUNK....

I called and asked if they would check stock for something that I NEEDED not just wanted and within 30 seconds I was transferred to someone else and told the item I was looking for was not in stock. I knew they were full of BS and hours later I sent my wife into the store with a picture and when she asked for help finding the item. They said “check over there” and pointed.. The folks that were there at that moment were liars and useless! I won’t lie and say I’ll never go back there but I will definitely look somewhere else for the things I need first.

I have always liked harbor freight. They have a decent mix of tools and supplies etc. I do think the retail hours are not late enough. They are only open until eight each night. Eight is decent on a Sunday but for the rest of the week eight is early to close. I would think nine or nine thirty would be good. I have a tough time after work getting to them before they close. Again really like the store and selection.. I use them and so do most of my immediate family. The staff have always been very helpful and great to deal with.

Plenty of help on Sunday of a holiday weekend. Store clean, well stocked.

I was looking for a strap wrench, a tool I thought was common as dirt. I guess I was wrong. Asking for help was next to useless as the clerk l asked had no clue what it is. She called someone for help. That accomplished nothing. Would be nice if they hired someone who knows tools and where they keep them.

Got in trouble with my wife for taking too long shopping for necessities.

I like Harbor Freight and Im glad that they built one in Keene, it is at least an hour closer to where I live than the other stores that I have visited but I usually order on line. Today I needed a live animal trap to help coax a cat out from under the house as its going to get colder at night soon. We have been trying to coax her out with food but she always eats and then back under to hide I looked online and learned that they had what I wanted. I called the store to be sure. Yes, I was told, we have that. When I arrived, I asked the woman cashier where I might find it. Her first response was We dont have that. When I told her that someone else had already told me that it was in the store, she told me that it would be in the outdoor section. I looked at all the boxes on display and could not find a trap. Then I looked all over the store and she saw me checking every aisle without offering to help. I finally went to the store manager who was also on a register right next to her. He took me down the outdoor aisle and pointed to a label with white tickets underneath that was hanging on a display rack amongst varied merchandise. He then took a white ticket back to the register and looked it up. He then went to the back room by himself and brought the trap back and rang it up. All done very quickly, professionally and cheerfully. Thats how it should be and I hope that the woman working there that day took notice. Thats the kind of service I usually get at other HF locations. Thank you Harbor Freight for coming to Keene, NH

To get them at the shop and find out both metric and sae sets have two Allen sizes of the same in each set . Discernment is needed and double check in the packaging to make Shure you do not have a mismatch set or incomplete set ...
