Hamshaw Rocks!! Great hardware store if you want to skip the big box experience

Hamshaw is everything you’d expect from a smaller family-owned lumber/hardware store. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and their prices are always fair. Product quality is the best as well. I much prefer spending my money here instead of the big box stores.

The thing about Ace stores in general, and this one is a perfect example, is they seem to have a service requirement for their employees.Home Depot employees scurry to get away from impeding interactions with we, the great unwashed masses of consumers, or so it would seem. But the folks at Ace take the time and care to make sure you find what it is youre looking for. Just recently, there was a gentleman who helped me and spent 15 minutes working out a part that was a sale of 2.58. It wasnt about the money, it was about making sure I left with the thing I needed. This kind of customer service is what wins people away from HD or Lowes.

Quality service, friendly and helpful, I needed a few things prices seemed high, they went out of there way and got somewhat damaged or dirty material and got a discount because of the fact and was appreciated because usually is a loss for them if its damaged, worked out for both parties. 1👍

Needed something i couldnt find and they had enough to get me started and then offered to order me the rest of what I needed. Just great customer service!

Kitchen & Bath Center a breath of fresh air, calm, collected, homey. They all work well for you. Def. recommend over big box guys. Full delivery too. Makes this a no-brainer when youre building or remodeling.

Most the time I have good experiences here, but this last visit, I needed help with a project, wasnt sure what to purchase to solve my dilemma and felt I was not only stupid but inconveniencing the clerk in the back of the store at the contractors area.. I ended up not purchasing here and took my business elsewhere.

I am always pleased with the goods and services here and the predominantly friendly service. It is too bad they close so early and are not open when most folks are getting out of work, it forces you to go to the big box stores.

They have a wide variety of stock to choose from, but I bring my business to home depot because they respect our troops enough to offer a 10% discount for being a service connected veteran. Hamshaw cant be bothered.

Got a little of everything. Coupons are usually very specific. Carry Carhart for men only. Sales are good when they have them.

Poor customer service, looking for stain employee asking us how we are and just kept walking by, another employee went to the paint area and didnt ask us if we needed any assistance just walked right by us. Needless to say we went to a aubuchons to get what we needed and got the help.
