I was an angry customer because of uhaul.com & the 1800 number problems, but these guys came through and got my trailer hitch installed on time.
Do not rent from here. These people have no idea what they are doing—a 30 dollar rental cost me 400 dollars because of their screw up. Then when I try to call they don’t answer their phone. Do not rent from here.
The manger is very unprofessional in my opinion. No customer service skill what’s so ever . She didn’t want to accommodate my need at all . I had wanted a different van then what was supplied to me . The reason I wanted a different van was that this van was a v8 that equals to poor gas mileage and it was in my opinion poor condition compared to the other ones out in the yard . In witch i am going to be using for a few days . UHaul corporate need to take closer look at who becomes a manger with the correct customer relationship skills. If you do. Or have to go here don’t !
Actually they were fine. Amanda is the managers name and she was helpful and gave me some good tips. The place is clean.. looks like the roof needs some work but..
Recently rented a 20ft truck for 2 full days. Unfortunately for me I needed it a few extra hours. Uhaul customer service rep called me to let me know the truck was due back. I apologized for my delay and said I would be an extra hour and knew I would have to pay the extra day fee. The rep said in a rude voice well thats a problem there is a customer waiting I apologized again for my delay, and the guy HUNG UP on me! I was shocked and extreamly offended. On a brighter note. The truck was clean when j picked it up and ran well. Customer service, not so much!
*Update*U-Haul listened to the community is what I would like to think. The general manager Amanda has been a great improvement to the prior toxic environment. Amanda is friendly and knows how to treat people. I have been there three times since the change in leadership. I would recommend giving this location another chance.I recently attempted to rent a utility trailer from the 199 Marlboro St. location in Keene. I did not end up renting the utility trailer due to the rudeness of the manager on duty, Jeff. It amazes me that they would have a rude and condescending person in a position of leadership. I have lodged a complaint, but wanted to provide this feedback to the community as this may not be a great experience if you choose to give them your business. Jeff needs to train in customer service as this part of his on-boarding appears to have been overlooked.
As a public guide, my obligation is to provide completely emotion free, factual information that could benefit people. My experience with them was horrible. The employees have fair customer service skills, but the manager Jeff is a rude, condescending and uptight indvidual. I would not recommend this to anybody.A good alternative would be doing a one way rental out of town and dropping it off at this location so you would have very little interaction with Jeff.I seriously would like U-Haul to personally take action against this as I, myself will not return.Oh, and this experience cost me over $120 extra.

Because we all know that terrible uncle who ruins Christmas every year still needs somewhere to go, and Uhaul has room at the table. Bravo!

Just as the other reviews confirm, this was the worst U-Haul experiences of my life. The manager was completely rude, disrespectful, and arrogant. From the moment I walked in, he behaved like a total jerk. He went out of his way to be mean. The staff seemed just as terrible. Plus, the place is a total wreck inside and out. The manager smelled like urin and his uniform was a mess. This is one of the worst businesses Ive ever encountered. Unless you like being insulted--stay away.
Place and staff always accessible, polite, profesdional and work hard to meet my needs.

Arrived at 6:20pm for propane. They close at 7. Was told he just locked it up for the night and to try the Citgo on West Street. Not sure why I have to go elsewhere when this place is supposed to be open til 7.
They are as helpful as you would assume U-Haul employees would be. The prices are what they are.
While I managed to get the trailer I needed that day, the staff was rude, unprofessional and seemed like it was a huge inconvenience to do their job. The employee I dealt with had an immediate attitude when I came in to tell him I was there to pick up, and only gave short irritable answers when I asked questions. Additionally, I dont much appreciate being talked down to.
Went in to buy a shipping box and the person on duty was as rude and disinterested ( I had a question) as any person I have ever had to deal with. He said if he took cash, I would have to wait until the next person arrived to relieve him and complained that person was already 15 minutes late! To my question, he replied “ I don’t know” not even making eye contact. This person is the person in picture and I believe he has been an employee there 6 years! Unbelievable!

Worst service we have gotten from any U-haul. The manager is so rude even his co-workers hate him.
Talked to 2 different people. Put on hold until Customer service answered, told them what I needed. Was transferred back to Keene and was told we dont have it for that vehicle. 17 minutes of my life that I can never get back.
Went to drop off my truck this morning, the guy there was busy. He later called and made things right.
Payment systems work terribly, and policies are unreasonable and unfriendly.
