Has a lot of good things. However, a lot of things are not in the store. It is a good idea to check online for what is in store before you buy; some thing you will have to order online. For example, both times I have been to this Best Buy to purchase items, I have had to purchase what I wanted online because the items were not available to purchase in store. This includes a laptop that was on display; the price tag is still showing to this day.
My Viper Car Alarm installed be Erik (?) was an EXCELLENT experience, he not only did a fantastic job (very diligent, friendly and professional young man) but also took the time to demonstrate how it functions and answered all my questions!Honestly, haven’t been to a Best Buy in years but my experience there now makes me want to upgrade my factory speakers (getting old, better sound)! 😎
Still looking for that elusive freezer, Best Buy actually offered a choice for appliance salesperson but the offered models werent big enough and the beat goes on. Best Buy seems to be understanding the value of great customer service while others have forgotten the same

I recently purchased a TV from a Best Buy while visiting North Carolina. I was to pick up at the Kennesaw Ga store where I live. The day it was suppose to be available, it was not. But Rachel K. at the store went over and above to make a bad situation better. She called me later that night to update me and also the next day. When I did receive my TV she followed up to make sure everything was good. It makes a big difference when you get such wonderful customer service. I will definitely shop there again.
Always a very helpful team at this location. Which is unusual for a large national group. I am always very impressed by the attitude and more importantly the youthful group that has high appearance in numbers and appears to show a grateful work ethic. Best Buy should be proud of their ability to locate and find great help. And more importantly train them to provide great services.
I love Best buy. I still go for most big electronic or appliance purchases and Geek Squad has been great when I needed them. I still love a best buy gift card for birthdays as well. but ever since they got rid of theyre points program Ive been bummed out. Still one of my favorite electronic stores..

After a few decades of loyal Best Buy purchases Im now in a spot where I have to say that Im stuck in a lease with them through a 3rd party company for multiple touchscreen laptops and ram upgrades that are not what I was told it was according to Best Buy online and had absolutely no way of knowing until after the fact. I purchased 2 laptops with the understanding that they could be upgraded from 4gb of ram to 8gb due to them having 2 slots for sticks of ram . And that they have one 4gb stick installed. When in fact they do have 4gb of ram on board and zero sticks or slots for upgrades. Also as per the website they are supposed to have one 2.5 inch international bay for expansion storage when again zero plus as advertised should have 2 m.2 slots when in fact only has one. So ofcoarse at the time I purchased 2 touchscreen laptops I also bought 2 ram upgrade modules and 2 ssd 2.5 hard drives. Please note the false information in the advertisement then the true Information on manufacturing website that I was only able to get after purchase and when registering the product

Found everything I needed, but the item was behind the counter and I had to show it to the sales person. I guess staff is new, and short as well. Not many people working, but I cant fault them for that. Good store overall.

Somebody made a mistake with my appointment I was supposed to get my CarPlay and backup camera install on the same day but they only scheduled one of those and wanted me to go back another day but Erik was able to fit me in and it all work out!! When I go into the store for a phone case and to see of they have a gaming system I wanted, its a bit unnerving to see the same employee pass me at least 8 times. I asked a taller gentleman with tattoos on the back of his legs for a phone case as soon as I got in the store. Spent under 5 minutes after that walking over to the games section, and for that walk alone I saw him 3 times. He passed me a couple more times before I finally went to checkout, where he waited right by the door.If youre gonna orbit your shoppers, make it less obvious, because Im now never wanting to return to best buy due to the insanely hostile environment that monitorization made. And I was probably in there only 5 minutes and still got that feeling.
Had a better deal in store than online.
The store itself is typical Best Buy. I came for a radio installation which was supposed to take an hour. I showed up early and they had an installer call out sick with no apparent contingency plan for this. I was told the install would be almost 2 hours instead of what I was advised when I bought the radio which threw part of my day for a loop. I expect the install to go well and will update this review if there are any issues.
Bought appliances on a split transaction between credit cards and ended up returning them the next day. Before the transaction we specifically made them aware of the split purchase and our concern for money being returned appropriate. The initial lady helping us was having trouble and then asked for the store manager to come over for assistance. Again, we repeated our split transaction concern.Kramer, the store manager, did not at all seem concerned with the employees troubles and tried to just brush her off by giving her a short response and tried walking away. Eventually he could not because she did not understand how to process the transaction and so rather than help he just did it on his own. Upon completion, Kramer then told us the more money was returned on on personal credit card and not enough on our Best Buy card leaving us a balance to be paid. Long story short, we reminded him of our initial request that was seemingly ignored and how it needed to be fixed. He then blamed the system and said there was nothing he could do about it. Never once did he try to correct the problem. Never once did he make an attempt to be courteous. Never once did he do anything to correct a problem beyond our control. No joke. I kid you not. After he became frustrated because I didnt want to hear his accusations against the system and his repeated canned responses he (like a child) just walked away.Kramer was very rude, extremely unprofessional and not what I would imagine to be representative of what the Best Buy brand name should be.
Poor selection of merchandise, old and worn out. They didnt have anything I was looking for. Not sure why you would come here unless you had no other option. The staff was very attentive though, hence the three stars.
I will never purchase anything from Best Buy again. Their customer service is terrible. The salesman was so helpful in the store with our purchase, gave us his business card, and told us to call him if any problems arose. Well, a problem occurred, and now he is MIA...not answering his phone nor responding to messages. Anyway, the problem is that our oven range arrived and was defective. Best Buy offered us a replacement one, and scheduled for a delivery between 2-6. I waited all afternoon for this delivery, and at 5:29, I received an email stating that they would arrive at 6:40. At 8 p.m., after no one showed up NOR called, I called their customer service line, only to wait 54 minutes on hold to be told that at 5 p.m., the driver called Best Buy to reschedule the delivery because the range was damaged. Wow! What about the customer who was sitting around waiting for this delivery? Was anyone going to notify me? Such poor customer service! Now I have to wait another week to replace a defective range! I should have followed my mind and purchased the range from Home Depot as I initially intended!
Spent 10 minutes on hold. Main customer service picked up and didnt know how to transfer me. Told me to put in the extension myself.Tried extension, went to car audio, no one picked up.Went back to hold to main desk.Wasted 20 minutes waiting and I gave up.Drove to store and got speakers and installed in less than hour.Why are all calls now routed through a central call. Killing your business.
Service was horrible regarding cell phones and getting help with the purchase of a TV. The cashier Kevin was fabulous he was so helpful and saved best buy from getting a horrible review. Employees other than Kevin seemed more interested in clocking out then assisting customers who were going to purchase an iPhone plus max pro . Went xfinity instead and received excellent assistance. Kevin should get a raise if it wasnt for him I would not return to this store
Purchased a Nikon z5 with a sweet lense. Justin explained to me in great detail the difference in the models of camera. He also help me understand that Nikon is the way to go ! Very friendly and this guy knows just about everything you need to know when getting a camera. If you’re gonna buy a camera and need all your questions answer, wait till evenings because Justin works nights. You will not be disappointed on the valuable information Justin gives you. Worth going just to talk to him. He help me find what I needed.
Called about a specific item, made an appointment. Get there and didnt have the item we talked about. I would give less than 1star . This is not the only time this has happened. Will not go back 😢
Absolutely love the alpharetta location. I was able to purchase my entire next gen set up from here. Ps5, lg nano cell tv and AK racing gaming chair. The entire process was awesome. I loved how they implemented the curbside pick up. So quick, easy, and convenient. I highly recommend each product. Ive been having a blast.
I’m disappointed nearly every time I go to this Best Buy. The ONE time they actually had what I was looking for 3+ employees basically said “fuck you” and wouldn’t help get it out of the case. With competition like this, I can see why Amazon is so popular.

I am currently very upset. I had a refrigerator delivered last week that was off center and I could not open the right side completely. So I was waiting on a washer and dryer from Best Buy as well, a total 3800 cash spent. Well they called on a recorded line to say the delivery time the day before. I asked if the guys could get my refrigerator straight so I can open the door... she said of course just ask them. Fast forward to the repositioning, water leaking immediately 1 minute later, emergency water shutoff. Now I’m fighting with Best Buy, whom I own stock with (selling that Monday) to have them send someone out to replace the line and make sure the refrigerator is not damaged.As I wait, I have made up my mind to return everything if they say I need to place a work order for this damage. They can pick up 3800 with of cash appliances and I’ll reorder with another company.Poor customer care, lack of care. Oh and the refrigerator had to be delivered twice, first time they damaged my ceiling, still waiting on the phone call about that.Sincerely unhappy Nurse. Please avoid spending your hard earned money with this brand. I will never spend a red penny with them again, it’s still unresolved, just got a call to see if I got a call from another supervisor. I’m going to write corporate as soon as I get on my house to look at this refrigerator sitting out in my floor and reflect on this sorry brand. NEVER.

The Best Buy portion and staff have always been great. I went in to buy a MacBook Air. The Apple rep who runs that department was busy. A Best Buy associate greeted me to ask what I was looking at. I let him know that I was going to purchase the MacBook Air. We went over to look at some of the sleeves and hubs, when the Apple rep came to him and I could hear the rep proceed to tell him how I guess Best Buy associates operate within the Apple area?? The young man walked off to the front to get two Apple Laptops and forgot I was there (was not his fault)I would highly suggest the Apple rep who I know has been there for years take a different approach in front of a customer who felt like I was being taken care of instead of standing around and waiting on one rep to finish. The rep never even greeted me to let me know that they would be right with me. Needless to say I left the store.

I havent been inside a Best buy store since 2012. Talking to the rep reminded me of why I dont shop there. Its pointless to have clueless employees walking around the store acting like their better than others getting paid minimum wage. I never understood that. But hey. Its Best Buy. What can you expect.

However, the person who helped me ( in the computer section) on this day, was impatient and made me feel weird for asking questionsOverall, he left me with a bad taste on my mouth. They did have what I need, but I decided to take my business else where. I do love Best Buy, but on this day i would have to give them 3/5 stars.

Either I don’t get the correct equipment after talking to an “expert”, no one asks me if I need help, the geek squad tells me they’re not going to help me, or they forget to order crucial parts for scheduled Install, subsequently needing to reschedule an appointment I’ve been waiting for three weeks on
Had a problem with an external hard drive and took it to the Geek Squad department. After hooking it up to their computer, it was determined that the USB cable I was using was broken. It only took five minutes and cost me nothing! Great service and friendly, tech-savvy people!!
We went looking at TVs. Sales guy that helped us didnt seem too interested once he realized we werent looking at $3000 TVs. The whole section felt disorganized and it was hard to tell what prices went with what TVs.In the end we found one on the website, bought it there, and did store pickup. That worked great. We never saw the TV we ended up with out in the store.

Curbside pick up was very good. I checked in from an email when I pulled into a curbside parking space. The return message indicated about a 5 minute wait and contained a 4 digit number to show at delivery. At right about 5 minutes, the Best Buy delivery person came to the car, verified my number, and put the product in the back of the car. Great service. I would say it was a Best Buy.
Customer service is very bad, don’t go to store if you really want to buy something at 8 pm - closing is 9 pm so there is still one hour as no one attends if you are lucky to get one who is passing by the answer to your question is “ sorry I don’t know “ why do these guys work at best buy ? Just a doubt what is the use of some one really not knowledgeable and ready to help ? Easier way to get representative attention is remove any sensor from the device so that someone can come to you atleast this way you get an rep !!

I wanna start by saying that I did not have a bad experience. It was just lack luster. Amazon has really done a number on these big box stores. Its also affected the staff. No one came to offer us help. Which is fine because I work as professional Video tech for live and virtual events, so im pretty versed. But we wanted to actually look at some of the computer displays they had and the selection was depressing.
Staff was helpful, we needed a new remote for my sons xbox, they were very attentive and we didnt even have to look for a staff member, they approached us and helped us with our shopping. At the register they made sure we found everything we were looking for and offered the extended warranty, explaining the benefits of the same in a way that was very informative and not like a pushy sale. Very satisfied with todays shopping experience.
I truly cannot wait for the day Best Buy goes bankrupt. They have become the worst electronic company in history since they took the monopoly market. They have strategically made it impossible for you to get an employee on the phone, regardless of the reason for the call. I would buy my camera equipment second hand under the bridge at full price before shopping here ever again. This review has been several years in the making.
I was highly disappointed in the recycling program, I called to get all the information I needed for recycling, then when I got to the BB in Kennesaw, the store manager told me they would have to charge $30.00 for a small TV, although I was told it was no charge for a TV under 50. Then I was told I could only recycle 1 item a day, which goes against what I was told by the operator. The manager waived the $30.00 recycle fee but would not take my other items. She would prefer for me to waste gas bringing 1 item a day instead of taking the small amount I had. #poorcustomerservice #dobetter
Dont use for appliance delivery.I ordered a washer dryer combo. The washer never arrived and am now dealing with getting claims opened with BestBuy to refund my money I paid for the washer that was never delivered. The support team seems disengaged and is failing to update tickets or process the refund. An abysmal customer experience.The dryer arrives on Monday and is installed poorly with crimped vent, which I had to fix as the install was a fire hazard to my property. The washer did not arrive, we were told wait till Friday. Friday morning comes and we get a call about installing an already delivered washer. We explained we did not get the washer. We were told we would have to wait another week at least. We asked for a refund on the washer that was never delivered. We will not use Best Buy again.

I bought an item here on the 15th of the month and its now the 31st and the cashier told me that its two days outside of the return period. I will not be spending my money here again. Im so disappointed in that policy. Reminder folks, Amazon has a much more flexible return policy.

GO TO COSTCO!! I bought a $3000 Sony X900F tv from these guys 17 months ago and it stopped working. They will not help me. They will not replace they won’t do Anything.I should have bought it from Costco at least they will replace it for current value of its a defectiveItem. I’m an elite shopper with bestbuy I spend a lot of money there. Last time I Spend a penny. They’re selling “high end” electronics that they don’t expect to last 18 months. I was shopping for a blue tooth speaker. They had 5 or 6 good choices but not one of them was a working display. I wanted to try before I bought one. They lost a sale here. Target had working display and I bought a Bose system from them. Better luck next time BestBuy. Make sure your displays work.
Tried to buy a av receiver. All they had was the discontinued floor model. They wouldnt sell it to me. The sales person was very helpful but the manager told him I couldnt buy it.

I was looking for an item, and one associate helped me choose it, was very helpful. When I went to check out, found out the item was $20 more than what the gentleman that helped me said. The cashier went back to check the price, came back and said the higher price was correct, and without me asking called the manager, and gave me $20 discount. Great service. I was impressed.
The last few times Ive been over the past year, relevant stock had been shrinking and its increasingly harder to find the things that I need and expect this store to have. If youre looking for more than what Walmart sells, but not enough to go to a legitimate tech store, this place is okay. At least they have a variety of things, if you can actually find anything in stock. Granted, I realize Covid-19 had been an issue the past year, but this review is a few years in the making..

Went to buy new tablet. Was shown one at an approximate price of $199.00. Clerk said I got last one. The one that rang up was $100. more expensive. I understand it had slightly more features but I feel that it was a bait and switch scheme. After speaking with 2 managers and i suggesting meeting in the middle on the price difference, I left the store dissatisfied and without a tablet. I would say watch out. Be aware!!
I stopped by the Kennesaw store and was the first time I had been in Best Buy in about 10 years. I now remember why that is. The prices for almost everything are ridiculously over priced, not one worker offered to help and if any thing were rude. Its a fun store to look at all the new technologies but thats where it begins and ends. Will never consider going back.
I love this Best Buy. Garrett educated me on hard drives and helped with the best product for my needs at the right price. The store is clean and everyone is always friendly and helpful. Great Holiday prices too!
This is a large Best Buy and tends to have everything in stock, but its a bit hard to get assistance from someone when youre ready to buy.
When in to buy a cell phone. The cell phone employee I dealt with was clueless on the promotion they were offering. I had to walk him over to the display and also showed it to him on the website. He called over another employee who was able to handle it. They then determined that they did not have the phone in stock. It was ordered for pickup at the Buckhead store (showed 2 units in stock). They said if receive an email in an hour or so to pick it up. The order was placed around 11am. Im patient but no email was every sent. At about 8pm I get an email saying my order was cancelled. I called the support number at about 8:30 (the store was closed by then). The guy guessed they cancelled the order because they were probably out of stock but then offered to put the order in again. I asked him if they cancelled it because they were out of stock, wouldnt this order likely be cancelled as well. He said it would likely be cancelled! Really? Why would he do something like that. I said if be happy to just have it shipped from wherever. He said that was another department and gave me another number to call. Because of the promotion it was a good price. The hassle we not worth the price difference compared to the ease of ordering and delivery from a very large competitor. Id like to support them but I likely will not be returning to best buy.
