My mom has been coming here for private forever. We live in AZ now but the past two times we have been in the area this was a must on our list. So much so we went twice this last trip a week ago. When we are at home we think about how good the brats and cheese curds are.My husband and I both ordered the brat of the week, which was a jalapeno cheese brat with more jalapeno and cheese on top, and bacon. It was amazing. The cheese curds are phenomenal, and my parents both love the grilled cheese, and brats. Also, the spotted cow is ice cold. Also important as this is something we can only get in Wisconsin.Wait staff has always been pleasant, and service is usually pretty quick. We buy things from the store and overall a great time.Cant wait for our next trip back to Kenosha
Trish was absolutely fantastic. Running the bar and grill herself yet spreading exuding positivity. She is really funny and receptive of her guests and maintained such a great attitude. Never expected a Brat stop to be so cool!
Went in for lunchOrdered a coke for myself, while my wife went to the rest room.When she came back, while checking out the menu and wanted to Ordered a drink. The bartender was busy talking with the other bartender, which seemed like at least 10 minutes 2 girls !. So a guy came out from the kitchen area noticed what was going on. he stepped in took our Order, just when we were getting ready to leave.Anyway Ordered and the food was very good. Burgers cooked just right. Good fries. Thanks to the gentleman from the back. May have been the cook ?Tipped him well. Thanks buddy
Visited twice in our quick overnight trip to the area. Great waitress the first night. Good advice. Good food. Seems like a fun place. BIG place. More game rooms and outdoor stuff in back. Came back the next afternoon and our waiter was gone for quite a while...still would go back..
Whether youre traveling, or just crossing the border to have a little adventure, you need to make a stop here! Been coming for years, never disappointed. Need to start with the cheese curds. We got the brat plate, garlic brat and cheddar jalapeño brat. Best American potato salad and coleslaw for sides. Always great customer service as well.
Wife and I decided to dine in. We ordered the Reuben sandwich, and double brat plate which we chose the original and polish brat. Both orders came with sides, we went with tator tots and American potato salad. Service was great. I forgot our waiter’s name but he took care of us.The Rueben sandwich was pretty good, easily one of the best Reubens I’ve had. The original brat was amazing, had a charcoal grill taste. And we both thought the Polish brat.Overall the food and service was good, just a little pricey. I would come back for the Reuben and original brat.
Great brats and burger. Friendly bartenders and staff serving your favorite drinks. Theres also a gift shop where you can grab some cheese curds or new Glarus beer. My favorite is the jalapeno cheddar bratwurst.
Where do I honestly begin with this place. The service was very quick, polite, and responsive given how busy it was. The Security came across as a bit intimidating, which is their job in my eyes,, were actually super patient and chill while we pulled money out of the ATM. And Ill add at the time we went their card readers were down and they were very polite and forward about it, which was very refreshing.The food was beyond what I expected, and almost ate myself into a food coma. On my second drink my choice of drink was out at the person at the bar politely told me it may be a few minutes before another drink was given, which I told then I would gladly wait for. In total the experience was beyond 5 stars. With how busy it was I was shocked how attentive they were.I was a bit bothered by how long it took the food to come out,, but after taking my first bite I realized I would have waited twice as long for it. Every bit of the experience was worth the wait and the price easily. I will easily be making a return trip for the whole experience, and I hope they dont change a thing.In short,if you are in the area,please stop and have a bite to eat. The atmosphere and the food is phenomenal, and if a live band is playing it makes it even better. I give 5 stars because I cant give more.
You can get brats almost as good at an average grocery store for 1/3 the price. Milwaukee Burger Company has much better cheese curds. We had pleasant service, and there wasnt anything wrong with the food. But the price ratio is too high for us to return. Sorry!
The food and atmosphere were great. The food did take a little bit to get brought out however it was delicious. would recommend if your looking for a casual place to enjoy watching a game with some food at.
Super good food, great atmosphere! Went on a random date night with my girlfriend, very glad we went here. Bartender had great suggestions for drinks, food came very fast and hot. All-around awesome place to hangout and get great food and cold drinks!
The food is great. Very relaxed atmosphere. Cheese curds is a must try. Kids meals priced very moderately. There are plenty of games and arcades to keep your kids entertained. 4 stars only for staff that leaves you hanging at the table for more than they should.

Been here only a few times, BUT it’s always amazing! Always a treat when crossing the border from Illinois, especially since they have a line of New Glarus taps on draft! Felt compelled to add a review today as my stop in earlier was fantastic! The atmosphere, food, and brew is always good. However, the two servers (I took a seat at the bar) and the hostess were very friendly and helpful. The male server who took my order even made recommendations on sauces to try out with the curds. Speaking of New Glarus on tap, the female server was able to list off the 8 selections from them off the top of her head and didnt appear to be bothered by it when I asked. :) Totally wish this place wasn’t 3 hours away!
Family celebrated my birthday. We came here after picking apples and the fun just kept on. So many great menu choices, beverages, food, service, atmosphere- an excellent and wonderful birthday celebration.
First time here from Chicago and it was simply amazing. Christine our server was so awesome. Attentive and so kind even though it was very busy. We ordered pretzel bites, cheese soup that was out of this world, chicken tenders, fries, avocado egg burger and burger with Munster cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection. Food was very tasty and not too salty. Great tasting food. Btw, the Meeks cheese was incredible!
At first sight, I thought I was going to eat WI brat from a small truck stop. However, this local spot did not disappoint. If looks are deceiving, I would say this would one of those occasions. Tyler was attentive and awesome attitude, great representative for The Brat Stop. The brats were amazing! This local place deserves a stop in and a must try.

Absolutely disgusting. They sandwiched my receipt IN MY FOOD! It was covered in grease and all the ink had worn off. Guess you like to poison your clients with the toxic ink on those things?Not to mention the bun was stale, and Ive been on the toilet for hours with food poisoning. But the absolute worst was the receipt that I repeat, was IN THE FOOD!Are your employees on drugs? How do you think that is acceptable? Do yourself a favor and get a hot dog at literally anywhere else. That was straight garbage and Im never going back. I had to throw most of it out anyway, what a waste.
After waiting about 20 minutes we were finally greeted and our drink order was taken. The waitress was friendly and did come back to check on us. My wife and I had the chicken wrap( I know, I know, its a brat place!) and honestly Subway makes a better wrap. It had what looked to be chicken lunch meat on it. For the price Id rather get a gas station burrito or hot dog. Now lets talk about the fried curds. They were excellent and had a good portion size. Will we go back? Probably not, but it was worth at least one visit.

Awesome selection of brats, beer, and cheese. What else could you ask for? It doesnt get much more Wisconsin than here. Also a cool place to visit for events and bands. Definitely would recommend. If you havent ever had a veal brat, get one here. Those baby cows are delicious!!!

The large illuminated sign advertises Family Friendly but I left wondering what they meant by that. From the covered entrance that reeked of damp stale cigarettes, to the horror prop decorations (Michael Myers, horror clowns, contorted babies, some Ring type creature on a swing, etc), the TV trivia loop on the enormous tvs everywhere you turned featuring images from horror movies, and finally to the adult items sold in the bathroom vending machine that my son then told me about in detail wondering what that was, I wondered at each turn, how it was friendly to families. The food itself was unremarkable and overpriced. The tap list was short and boring. The service was provided by a man who meant us no ill will, and was kind enough, but just seemed like a regular from the bar pressed into service. There were out of the side my family ordered, and instead of asking us what we wanted instead just make an executive decision on a substitution.Ive meant for years to give the famous Brat Stop a try, and now that I have its getting a permanent pass. Perhaps if you are not with kids, and a band is playing, and you arent interested in food or service you may enjoy it. It is not at all family friendly. Just no. Please.
This place is a must stop any time Im in the area. Would have given 5 stars but the brat buns were kinda on the dry side. This is a landmark for this area, been around forever, always worth the visit.

Fairly busy but was seated immediately, waited for friends to arrive. After they did, and after waiting for an additional 25 minutes, I had to get help to find our server. After that we had good service. Food was excellent, bathroom was clean and provided soap and hand sanitizer dispensers.
I have been here multiple times over the years and just took my daughter and granddaughter, the service was bad but the brats were even worse!!! My daughter and I both got brats, they were dry and were NOT EVEN warm, the buns were dry and we had to ask TWICE to get the onions & tomatoes. We ended up eating the brats leaving the buns BUT we have both been sick since then (going on the 2nd day), my granddaughter got a cheese burger hers was also COLD. It was like we were getting left overs from Saturday night. We left paying a $70.00 bill - YES 2 brats and 1 cheeseburger, & 3 beers, oh wait we also had cheese sticks that had no flavor. This place is overrated and I will never go back.
Friendly and lively.. enjoyed some drinks and great live music. Tonight was a really fun 90s band called The Buzz Worthys

Brat Stop has such a good reputation that I dont need to add anything. Great food, friendly atmosphere, great service and great prices. I always go there when I am close and I always recommend that place to friends. When you visit, dont forget to try the cheese soup. Oh my God!!! The best ever. Enjoy it.
Its been awhile since weve been there and will be a Long While before I go back. Pricey over cooked brats served Luke warm. Other 3 entries similar results which took a long time to get. Lone bright spot was our waitress who had a great attitude and provided good service.

Absolutely delicious 😋For an appetizer, I had their pretzel bites...yummy!!!!All workers were following the Covid Pandemic Guidelines.Thanks for a great lunch, will definitely be back!!!!
Terrible service..good food and drink though. Waitress was hard to find to take out order, get refills and could find her to separate the bill.

Was so looking forward to stopping here. Was a highlight of the trip. Stopped in today at 11:35am. Waited for a hostess. And waited, and waited. Was told someone will be right with you. 12 minutes go buy. Nothing. Family behind us was visibly upset also. Wife had asked for service 5 minutes in, was told will be right with you. Nothing. Finally a young woman came over, took our seating arrangment and sat us down. More waiting. Almost 10 minutes goes by, young man comes by and gives us menus and said I will be with you in one minute. Well, another 10 minutes goes by, nothing. Then we see the waiter take the order from the table next to us who have been waiting longer. Table of 6 and needed some time to order. By this time we had enough. Horrible service, cant say anything about the food. Didnt have any. This was a highlight of our trip and frankly it was very disappointing. Went next door to the Phoenix restaurant and was seated, ate, and was out in less than 20 minutes. Tried to call reach a manager, good luck! Would love to hear back from them. Totally dissatisfied!
Just ok small portions for the price. Ive had better from the local butcher when I lived in Michigan. The workers were all friendly and attentive. The food was just ok nothing to brag about sorry.
I am from out of state and was happy to see the brat stop made it through the pandemic. It is a yearly routine to visit the Bristol Renaissance and then dine in with my friends at the brat stop. Thier brats are delicious and cheese curds are scrumptious. After eating I visit the retail side and bring home some New Glarus.
My first time there last night and I had an amazing time. Drinks was great as well as great prices. Along with volleyball outside.

Great atmosphere. We were there on a Monday afternoon. Not too busy food taste quality and temp was good service was a little slow but friendly, and did check in us periodically the food took a while to actually arrive. Overall not bad experience and I would go back as this is usually a stop for my friends and I if we are golfing up in that area of Wisconsin..
Good brats but little high on price I ordered a plain cheese brat and got charged $10+ but it was good beat

Went on a Friday night. Too loud. Could barely hold a conversation with the people sitting across from me. Food was flavorless. Had burnt onion rings. Soda tasted watered down. My mom ordered a unsweetened iced tea. She recived sugary raspberry tea with sugar. Also tasted watered down. So she ordered a doctor pepper. Service was okay. As a person who works in the restaurant business this would not fly at my restaurant.
Sports everywhere you look, a stage for live music, bar games, outdoor beach volleyball, merchandise and road trip goodies in the Cheese Mart, and thats what you take in before you even see the menu. Its a kid friendly, year-round summer barbecue with bar food staples for people who are not counting calories, or willing to enjoy their cheat day with style. And meat. I strongly recommend the cheese curds.

The place looks like a gas station or something from the outside, but on the inside, its a superbly decorated expanse of wood and lights. The food itself is pretty good. I had the Cajun Brat and it was not the best brat Ive ever had, but acceptable. The fried cheese curds were amazing and you could fill up on those alone. Service was good and prices were fair.Right next door is a nice little cheese shop where you can pick up any cheese curds that you forgot to pick up while visiting Wisconsin.

Things havent changed much at the Brat Stop. Food is just ok. German potato salad is good as a side. Prime rib sandwich is pretty tasty. Overall just an OK place to grab a meal. Not our first choice in Kenosha.

Have been here a few times just for some of the cheeses and food products. Sat down to eat at the bar and we only had 30 minutes to eat and get back on the road. So we asked about the broastedchicken and eta was 20 minutes so we gave it a shot, after 18 minutes we had to send up a flare to get someone to come by even though a waitress was 3 feet away look liked with friends because we didnt move when we waiving our hands. Food showed up and it was very very good for the 5 minutes we had left and took it with us to eat later. So I would say bar staff to pay a little more attention, bar wasnt busy so no reason. Store portion is great with some good stuff, brought some Garlic and Raspberry Cheeses which was good on a bunch of stuff.
Its a must stop for my family (specially during summer to buy those delicious brats). The lady attendant is always helpful and courteous

Awesome bar with character. While brats are the main thing (and good) they of course have other good bar food like burgers, sandwiches, and of course, cheese curds. Live entertainment with a slew of history in big names round out a pretty cool spot to check out if you’re visiting this part of Wisconsin.
The food and drinks were great, as usual. We were seated promptly, and our server was a nice young man who made sure we were doing fine throughout. Cant wait to come again for another cheddar jalapeño brat. Mmmm

This is a fun place to eat, drink, or play at. They have pull tabs, video gaming, as well as arcade games through out. We went for dinner and LOVED the cheddar brats! Our waitress was very personable and did a great job of navigating a busy night. I tried and regretted a flight of moonshine. The regret was from my ability to breathe fire after consuming not from the quality or service. I wandered into the back bar just to take a look around and will definitely be coming back for trivia or some live music!
