This place was a little hard to find as the entrance was among several others and I dont recall seeing a sign. However, once you find it and enter, youll discover a hidden coffee place that serves delicious food and coffee. The assortment of different foods, drinks and coffee made our experience pleasurable and enjoyable. The seating was a bit small, but we were able to find a table with not that much of a wait time. Will definitely be going back soon.
My son and I love going to the buzz. I’ve been taking him here ever since he was born its such a peaceful, fun, relaxing environment they always keep their business nice and clean. And they’re always so nice and friendly at the buzz. Great customer service 🐝 their coffee drinks and they’re hot chocolate in the winter are very delicious I definitely recommend this place for coffee and hot chocolate as well as there yummy food. ❤️❤️❤️ I am what’s nice about it is close by where I live.💙😊
This place was buzzing. 🐝 The line was a little long, but thats because the place is obviously so popular. However, it moved quickly, and the barista was great. Gluten free options available with everything too.
Earlier this week, i came to the buzz and ordered the drink of the week (brown sugar cinnamon latte). i was very impressed by it because usually, the drinks handed to me are pretty bad. that was on tuesday, and today, thursday, the same drink i thoroughly enjoyed tastes terrible. subtle hint of coffee, all milk, no actual flavor. some days their drinks are great and other days they’re a complete waste of money. $7 worth of money for hot milk that i won’t even finish. not to mention, they inconsistently charge for oat milk?? i’ve been disappointed in this place for nine months after loving it for so long. i keep coming back in hopes of improvement, but i’m always let down. it feels like the baristas don’t even know what they’re doing. it sure doesn’t taste like it. the same person could make a latte and it tastes completely different the next day. as a customer, i shouldn’t applaud a place that does the bare minimum in terms of an expensive cafe.
Best spot with nicest people and good food. Have been coming here for a long time, and it is one of the rare places where every visit you get the best experience. Glad to 5 stars them.
Went to try out the coffee and sandwich I asked for the most strongest coffee they had which was a nitro cold brew with 4 shots of espresso. It was very good not strong enough for me but it was good went back in to tip the lovely workers $120 and walked out with a very good Cuban sandwich. 10/10 would definitely come back and try the other items
Delicious coffee everytime, our favorite coffee in Kenosha
An ideal Saturday for me is waking up to a large coffee and a salmon bagel from the Buzz. The Buzz helped me survive 2020. Great coffee, drinks, people, and food. Couldnt find a better place to bring my laptop to work or meet a friend for a drink. It brings some cool to Kenosha.
Not just your average cafe:Unique menu items, good service, cool art, and outdoor seating! Try the Lavender Matcha and a homemade macaroon.
The food was amazing, however the customer service was not. My colleague and I had never been here and were very excited to try this place. When we arrived we were not greeted and ended up standing by the register until finally someone came over to help us, which seemed as if it were a chore. Once we explained we had never been here only then were we instructed on how to go about ordering. Upon leaving we decided to purchase breakfast pastries for the next morning and received the same customer service. This was not a welcoming experience, however if you can look past that the food is yummy.
Excellent drinks and lunch food. You have to wait a bit for your order, but its worth it!
Buzz is a cool and unique spot that I wasnt expecting. I stopped in because it was a new location on Untapped, so I figured it would be craft beer bar. This place is a coffee shop serving food with a craft beer bar and a wine bar all in one. I think Ill definitely make a trip there again!
Great Saturday Morning Brunch! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic! We will be back!
Another fine hole-in-the-wall in K-town that my wife & I recently tried for the first time and we were very pleased with this place.A different approach then your typical café and The Buzz Café is quite unique actually. They pretty much have a drink to suit every different mood and we love the cozy somewhat eclectic atmosphere.Venue is clean, staff provided exceptional service and the menu has some great choices including healthy options.Good coffee/ tea menu but the beer and especially wine list reigns supreme. An all around café thats an excellent stop in for coffee and a bite or a glass of wine/craft beer after work.Always try my best to support local-owned businesses and Ill gladly come back to this one and refer to other family, friends & co-workers.
Nice place, good coffee, warm environment. Im planning to return soon.
Love The Buzz. Go for coffee and a BLAT panini. Never had something like it.
The food has such unique flavor combinations and there are always fantastic craft beers on draft and even more in their fridge. Wine, cocktails, coffee, food, snacks, beer... its awesome. There a food and drink specials everyday and the atmosphere is great with high and low tables, bar seating and a cozy couch/living room area.
My friend and I ordered the basic panini and waited about 15-20 minutes to even get it served to us. For half of that time, it sat out waiting to be served (along with another plate of food for another paying customer). The girls behind the barista bar made drinks ordered after us, stood around, and one even paused to talk to her friends while our food sat out for 20 minutes. When the customer who was also waiting for his food asked about it, she told him that “they didn’t have enough time to come run them out.” There wasn’t a line of customers, it wasn’t busy, they were just standing around or talking to friends. When it was served to us, there was no apology for the wait. Poor customer service and no sense of multi-tasking.
The Buzz is an interesting and chill spot to grab a drink and enjoy a bite. Their food and drink choices are unique and are very good. I really enjoy the variety and the chill atmosphere.
They didnt substitute ham for turkey like I asked them to. I am allergic to turkey, so of course I had a reaction. The sandwich was good nonetheless. Just make sure if youre substituting something because of an allergy that they know its because of an allergy. Ill be sure to make that clear next time I go.
Very nice quiet laid back place to enjoy great food coffee, teas and adult beverages. Enjoyed the Italian Wrap!! Omg!! Was so full of flavor, I was stuffed with this plus a side of the tomato basil bisque(which made for excellent source to dip the wrap into!!). Highly recommend this for a leisurely after stop for lunch.
Always friendly always courteous always helpful. Delicious drinks and eats! The guy preparing the food Was excellent
Great place for delicious vegan food that isnt just your typical salad! The flavors were exploding in the cabbage cranberry slaw and the vegan wrap - I loved the lentils and avocado in there! Everything was well seasoned and service was very polite. We did wait atleast half an hour for our food though, but that was probably because we went at a busy time. Table seating was therefore super crowded as well.
Order in line and carry your food. No place to sit. Food nor that great for the price. Staff professional.
Quick and friendly spot to get a great cup of coffee or a an amazing lunchtime snack. Really spacious, hookups for your laptop, great staff really enjoy this place.
What a gem! Great staff. Excellent coffee and food. Vegan options!!!
Went with a skillet and a pancake! Wasnt disappointed! Cool little place... Will be back for sure!
Every time I come the younger girls working always seem to have a attitude today alexis was very rude per usual I couldn’t even believe she would treat a paying customer in such a mean manner. I’m not sure if they think they are better than anyone else? Or what it is jobs get stressful but you shouldn’t never treat someone poorly as you never know what someone is going through !!
My friends and I came very happy to this place until we got here because we ordered a coffee and both girls were very rude. The coffee we ordered only taste like milk. We also asked about tea and the girl was unpolite. We don’t know what we did wrong but they made us feel uncomfortable so had to leave the place.
Upscale coffee shop, cafe, wine & beer bistro. nice
Tons of cocktails and bottles of wine to choose from. Good rotation of high-quality coffee beans. Love seeing coffees here from different midwestern roasters. They have rishi tea as well which is the best! You will see a lot of customers without masks but you can always order for curbside pickup if that is not your scene.
It was my and my boyfriends first time there, I ordered the southwest sweet potato with the soup they had and he had the jackfruit al pastor tostada with chips. The food was very good and the customer service we were experiencing was so warming and kind. If we are ever back up in Kenosha again,we will definitely come back for more 😍
This happened awhile ago, but I haven’t been back since. One day I had an issue with being charged for the wrong drink, and they said they couldn’t figure out how to refund it with their POS system. They offered a gift card to make up for the problem. I go to use that gift card on a different day and they say their systems don’t take the gift cards.... so I was like ok? I didn’t even care about the money at that point I was just shocked at their business practices.Their coffee is normally wonderful, but seems like I run into issues every single time I go there...
As always, delicious food, excellent service, calm atmosphere. Absolutely love this placeOh, and their coffee is out of this world!
So good! Hands down, Kenosha’s best sandwiches! Really great coffee too!
It feels like the quality of their drinks has decreased dramatically over the last year. every time i come and try a drink of the week, or even a basic latte from their menu, it tastes exactly the same. they’re also always room temperature :( some of the flavors are too bland and nothing is jaw dropping anymore, like it used to be.they had the spiced pecan latte in late 2019 as a drink of the week and it was the best drink i had from the buzz. they brought it back as part of their 2020/21 winter menu and it tastes bland and boring; like everything else on their menu. super disappointing!!!also, i wish their menu had more premade, specialty drinks instead of just the basic latte or mocha. there are only a few “special” options (honey bee and nutella lattes). sad :( i miss the old buzz
You have to try the Calibaha breakfast bagel and the lavender latte! Amazing. Clean environment wonderful atmosphere, professional employees.
Their coffee is amazing! I just had their espresso con panna and it was to die for! They have great service, great food!
Being a big fan of coffee and even bigger fan of yummy food, I am always pleasantly surprised when I go to the Buzz! They change their menu on a pretty regular basis and I especially enjoy how they craft new coffee drinks. Also available is a huge selection of craft beer and an even greater selection of wines!
A great place to work while writing. Good food and a great atmosphere with delicious coffee and lots of local items (honey and Bloody Mary mix are out of this world).
I was doordashing at this establishment and on my second pick-up, the barista made me a free drink! Made my whole day!
Quick service, good coffee, nice atmosphere... little full though
Over priced. Waited 10 min for the slow pouring nitro coffee. Pass
Great place for coffee. Try the Honey Latte.
One of the best places for coffee, food, and drinks in Kenosha. Sandwiches are amazing and they have delicious soups. The tap list is always amazing!
The owner of Elsie Maes Pies (down the street) recommended that my family and I check out it this little hidden gem; given that we had a little time to burn, as our homemade pies had to bake. Anyhow, boy were we very pleased not only with the food/selections but also the atmosphere plus service. Here, we are today on our second visit and again the experience was well worth our time. The menu offers plenty healthy options ranging from vegan to meat-eaters. Everything is freshly made and the taste is fantastic! The service is on-point for such a busy; however charming little spot. The clientele is a mix of coffee and wine drinkers but the atmosphere is one where you could pull out your laptop or kick back with a few friends, while enjoying a glass of wine. Either way, you wont be disappointed and we will be back again. 😋
Nice little breakfast stop!!!
Food is great.
It was pretty busy when I went, the drinks were fine, and the service was efficient. Didnt feel really welcoming but it may just have been the busy lunch hour. Indoor seating was open, not many were really wearing a mask although there was a screen to divide the employees from the customers. Not the best, but not the worst.
Spectacular spot with friendly service.
Great craft beer selection. Half price taps on Tuesday.
Good coffee i would go there again
Stopped here for lunch while passing through town. Really hard to find, one small sign on the sidewalk. Found it through the Find Me Gluten Free app. Nice interior and atmosphere. The food is very high quality and healthy, and anything can be made gluten free or vegan, which is extremely appreciated. Service was great, everything was freshly made. My weird lone complaint is that the food, as I can best describe it, had the idea of flavor but didnt quite get there. But it was filling and I felt good after eating. Maybe it was just the sandwich I got, but the person I was with couldnt really taste their dish, either. Were from the southwest and would have liked a bottle of hot sauce on the side :)
Great at atmosphere
Great workers, fun menu choices, chill atmosphere.
Great atmosphere and drink menu.
LOVE THEIR VEGAN OPTIONS.
Their coffee tastes amazing and does the job! I didnt sleep at all last night, so I decided to get a coffee from them and I feel fresh as a daisy! They are my favorite local place to go for coffee or other hot drinks.I honestly wouldnt have found them if it werent for the Covid19 shutdown. They were the only place close enough for me to walk that offered coffee. Bonus points to them for staying open during this time :)
SO DELICIOUS!!! You can’t go wrong here with anything, and that’s what makes it so hard to choose when you’re ordering! Spent about 15 minutes trying to decide and wasn’t sure about what I picked but ended up loving it! Perfect portions and the lattes are steamed to perfection! I will definitely be coming here again when I’m in the area :) local cafes are always better than chain restaurants.
Went here on a whim for coffee. Best spur of the moment idea ever! Everything from the beer and coffee to the atmosphere is amazing!! They’re always coming up with creative drinks and always making new foodmenu items! Honorary shout out to their beer/wine food pairing events!!! Even though we are from Racine, this place is worth the drive!!!
The cold brew hits no matter what.
I love their beer, especially their rotating tap beer selection. Their food is great too.
I stopped in to get their drink of the week featured which was watermelon matcha and it straight up taste like a watermelon jolly rancher! So delicious!
Perfect chill by yourself vibe. Love the interior design and a plethora of drink options!!
Excellent beverages and wonderful baristas!!
This place has some good little sandwiches and their drinks are hard to pick, each one sounds like a good time to me. We stopped here to get something to eat and we were very surprised to see how modern and hip it was in there. Plenty of people in the place and theres a nice bar. Not very much room to eat I think that a larger building will come in time for these brave crusaders
Cute place, I like the menu and atmosphere but we were sitting outside and were asked to move because the table was reserved. There were no reservation signs anywhere to be found. We werent sure if the tables were for Buzz or the place next door. It was just rude. We sat inside and it was fine.
This is for the service. I try to come here as frequently I can to support local and the service is always lacking. In fact, rude and snobby.
Love, love, love the horchata coffee. Its a perfect cup of coffee. Food tastes great and it has the perfect coffee shop feel. Get a little bored with the menu so stopped visiting as often. But a great place.
If youre in a hurry dont come here. They werent busy but they took their sweet time getting mine and another ladies orders. They were not in a rush to do anything so it was a little frustrating to sit there and watch them take their time. Food and drinks are pretty good but I wouldnt recommend coming here before work.
It was nice but not great. I drank Pepsi, it tasted flat, the glass was very small. They offered refills but they were hard to obtain. The staff was busy and had to go to the bar next door to get it. Would only return if a friend insisted. Nice people just not my kind of food or drink.
I ordered the Honey Latte and Sweet Potato Soup with the Basic Panini. Everything was delicious! I was excited to try the honey latte seeing as it is a bee themed cafe and I was not disappointed. The soup had an amazing flavor and had just the right consistency. I wanted the panini and the soup to be just a bit warmer.
Great vegetarian options, sleek and comfortable atmosphere
Great sandwiches, totally pro espresso, lovely atmosphere that conveys a sense of the genuine. A great place that is very comfortable to be in.
The person in front of me was complaining that he paid $1.25 extra for almond milk on a $4 coffee. He wasnt too thrilled to say the least.
Me and a buddy biked all the way from Chicago and landed at Buzz Cafe. It was definitely good fortune that we found it. The beer selection is great; the menu had many tempting options (I had the Everything Good On Rye, which was AMAZING), both for omnivores and herbivores; our server made us some damned near perfect Marys (she was cool as a fan, too) - all in all, an excellent experience and I know Ill be back some time soon.
The most amazing hot chocolate this side of the border! Coffee is super tasty as well. The ambience is warm and inviting, and very comfortable. Certainly my go to spot when passing through from now on.
Great coffee, beer and atmosphere.
Three stars for the coffee. Zero stars for the service. Took almost 20 minutes to get a sandwich and I was the only one waiting on an order. Meanwhile, other staff were just chatting and hanging out. Not even an update on when my sandwich would be ready. I saw it sitting on the counter and when I asked about it, the girl rolled her eyes at me and then brought it over. When I got home and opened it, it wasnt even my order. Used up my entire lunch break for a sub par and pricey experience.. Zero energy or time to even go back and get it fixed. Wont return.
Pleasant place for coffee and breakfast sandwich. I had the pig pen. Yummy.
The food was really good but their chip reader had issues and it had little to no lighting with a weird vibe. Worth it for the food though. You order your food at the counter then they call out your name for the drinks( really quietly) then being your food to the table.
The staff was pleasant with a definite hippy vibe. I think they fit the establishment perfectly and even though they were busy, they still spent a few seconds answering some questions for me without acting bothered.I ordered a root vegetable wrap and had them make it into a panini. It took about 15 minutes for it to come out which I found really strange and is the reason I am dropping them a star.
Nice atmosphere & free wi-fi. The menu has a nice variety of options for wraps and salads.
I loved this place. Good food drinks wine cheese beer to take home. Atmosphere art in walls and sell gifts items related to coffee tea and wine
This place always has a different take on foods and its always good. I love that they have events and seem to be involved in their community.
