Love the new space! Weve been working with Robins Nest Cakery since January for our sweets table at our wedding. Everyone has been friendly, helpful, and every dessert we tried has been delicious. The customer service has been excellent at the new space is fantastic--very cute and cozy. Picked up this beautiful chocolate banana cake to do a tasting with our family--tasted even better than it looked, which was beautiful!

They made a custom ZOMBIE UNICORN cake for my daughters birthday. It looked AWESOME and was DELICIOUS! Its been 3 days and the cake is not dried out at all and tastes as good as the first day!

My wedding cake was pretty and good tasting. It half way looked like the picture we sent but it couldve been better as in more ombre rather than just one layer dark than lighter. The top of the cake was white there is not one layer of just white in the picture we showed. We requested purple ombre with the roses. It was also cool that we got a free anniversary cake for our one year but that was blue but not purple so not a good representation of our cake but tasted good and looked pretty. First picture is what we showed we wanted second is what we got and third one is our free anniversary cake all purple ombre.

Delicious, delightful Wedding Cakes and desserts! Robin’s Nest provided the wedding cake and desserts for our daughter’s wedding. The cake & the desserts were beautiful to look and everyone raved about how good they tasted. I highly recommend Robin’s Nest!

Quick free parking on the street. Asked for moist and chocolate so Robin steered me away from Red Velvet to Oreo w/vanilla frosting. Not an Oreo fan, but they were pulverized so I didnt get chunks. Cupcakes are never as moist as cake slices but this one was delicious. Limited selection but worth a stop.

Got our wedding cake from them. A complete joy to work with. The cake itself looked beautiful And tasted wonderful. We could not have been happier with how it all turned out. Thank you!!

When I told her I wanted a birch wood cake and she didnt seem to know what it was but as soon as I emailed her a picture she said yes and it turned out BEAUTIFUL! Exactly what I wanted and how I saw it in my head! It was delivered on time and tasted so good! Thanks again! O and by the way, she never once was rude to me ever. She asked me to send a picture for a price and if you can understand why she does this, then its not rude. Its for her to give you an exact price. We had a really good experience with Robins Nest for our wedding cake. The initial tasting was impressive as far as quality and flavors, so we knew immediately we wanted them. Seemed like a good value which included delivery. The only thing they missed was that we asked for decorative flowers on it initially but changed our minds - they must not have written down the change because it showed up with flowers! Oh well, it was still stunning and we werent upset at all. Definitely recommend!

We got our wedding cake and cupcakes here and they were wonderful. Delicious gourmet cupcakes and beautiful cake design. Robin was very easy to work with. I sent her multiple photos with ideas we were considering and asked for her input on what would be best for our small cake and she had great advice. Delivery and setup at the venue went smoothly. The price was very reasonable! :)

We got our wedding shower cupcakes from Robin’s Nest as well as our wedding cake and cupcakes and the guests could not stop raving about how good they were!Robin and Emily were wonderful to work with, and with the cupcakes we were able to choose four flavors which really offered great choices for our guests (and the flavor variety offered is amazing)! The cake and cupcakes were delivered to and set up at our reception venue and in addition to tasting great they looked amazing! If you are looking at cakes or cupcakes for your event I highly recommend going with Robin’s Nest!

Robin was great and we loved working with her for our wedding cake! We sent pictures of some cakes we liked and she was able to create our perfect wedding cake! We also had it delivered to our reception which was totally worth it to have one less thing to worry about. The cake itself was delicious! We had a tuxedo cake with a strawberry filling.

I husband and I have these cupcakes for our wedding. They are delicious super moist. At the end of the night we only had six mini cupcakes left. Everyone at the wedding raved about the flavors. Definitely recommend for any occasion. I will be ordering from here again.

The cake itself tasted great and it looked decent but no where near what was agreed upon. I presented a picture and was promised it would look the same. I understand you can get busy but you should not take orders that you cannot fulfill.

Phenomenal job on my daughter’s graduation cake!!! Every guest raved about the presentation and taste. The customers service was exceptional as well!!! Thank you Robin & staff; we’ll for sure be back:)

Ordered some cookies to give to relatives as a gift. Upon opening, first thing we noticed was that the cookies werent individually wrapped like we requested and paid for. Second, the decorative icing on the cookies was sloppy at best. One cookie was only half done, missing the detail of the design. Lastly, the writing on the cookies wasnt icing like you would anticipate, it was edible marker, quickly hand written on the cookie. The handwriting was sloppy and most of the cookies had bubbling icing under the edible marker! We were shocked and disappointed that these cookies were thought be be fine to give a customer. On a positive note, even though the cookies looked horrible (we could not give them as gifts like originally planned), they did taste good.

Thank you for your service.Maybe this is a great place for wedding cakes but i did not had any luck in ordering a Black Forest Cake. The Black forest that I know is supposed to be a little spongy in texture so that It can soak up the Cherry syrup and retain it. the black forest cake that I ordered for my daughters bday was not the best.

If I could give Robins Nest Cakery ZERO stars, I would! I ordered a 2 tier cake for my daughters baby shower - top layer yellow, bottom layer chocolate. Easy, right? Hard part should have been the decoration of it, Nightmare Before Christmas themed, that was perfect. However, when I cut into the cake, I discovered the bottom layer was confetti and NOT chocolate 😞I took pictures and emailed her right away, and her response was FAR from professional and completely disappointing. Honestly, $130 for a cake that feeds 34, is expensive, but it would have been worth every penny considering the decor, had it been built with the correct flavor! Instead it ruined my daughters first baby shower, and instead of an offer to fix it, or any offer to make it right, I received a response Id expect from an inexperienced teenager, not a professional adult running a business. If youre planning a special event, I would NOT recommend Robins Nest Cakery, since 2 similar orders can confuse her and ruin your event. 😡

Robin and I started planning my daughters dragon and castle cake two months before her birthday. She sent me photos of ideas and possible designs, listened to my feedback and created a stunning cake-complete with a scaly purple dragon wrapped around a castle. My daughter was thrilled! (And she had designed an incredible Harry Potter themed cake the year before!).

Let me tell you, Robin is a very skilled baker! Today is my fiances birthday and she made this amazing cake in more ways than 1! Nothing but good thoughts about this bakery! She is an amazing baker and is so easy to work with! She will be our go to baker for now on!

Robins is the best! Her cake and cupcake flavors are so unique and delicious. Theres something for everyone. I have yet to have anything that disappointed. Be sure to try the sugar cookies with royal icing - they are delicious!

My fiancé and I went to Robins Nest Cakery today to sample cupcakes for our wedding. Not only did the cupcakes taste amazing, but our service was great! Emily greeted us right when we walked in and made our experience so enjoyable! We told her we were thinking about a Pokémon themed cake and she immediately got out her phone and started looking up ideas and had fun with it. We are very excited for Robins Nest to be doing our desserts for our wedding!

Very Rude. I called to order a cake for my daughters birthday and the woman who answered the phone was so rude for no reason. I couldnt even bring myself to finish the conversation and order the cake from her. I told her I was calling to ask about a princess dress cupcake cake. She told me I have hundreds of princess cakes and I have no idea what youre talking about. So I told her, Im looking for the cupcake cake that looks like a dress and has a wand and tiara. She said, Yeah. How can I help you? I kind of chuckled nervously because i wasnt expecting the conversation to start out that way and then I said, well, I was looking to possibly get a price and order that. She obviously knew she was being rude, because then she barked at me Im not trying to be rude...but how can I help you? I just said, Wow, OK never mind, Sorry to have bothered you. and hung up. If you want to order from there, order online... the customer service will probably be better. :-)**Replying to you, Robin: It would not have been difficult to listen for 10 seconds to understand what I wanted. But either way, not understanding what a customer is asking for shouldnt entitle you to treat them rudely. Ive ordered from you before for my daughters first birthday and my experience wasnt much better. Will get my cakes elsewhere. Thanks.

Their cupcakes are very delicious.The customer service was so pleasant and helpful. I bought a a variety of cupcakes and they were a hit at the office. Great place.

I just had my first butter cream cup cake from the Robin’s Nest is downtown Kenosha, wow it was good. This is a must stop for a quick sweet or a special occasion cake.

Its a dark empty place with cupcakes that you can make yourself at home with prices way too high. Laughed as I walked out. I really hope they can make it better. Brighter inside with better customer service.

Walked into Robins Nest Cakery today right at noon ( the time they open). We were greatedby Emily who was very helpful in making our wedding cake/ cupcakes arrangements. Emily gave us plenty of options to accommodate our guest list. Emily was also very patient with all of my questions which I had alot of. Towards the end of of our consult had the opportunity to meet Robin ( The owner). Robin also took time for us to give us a little back ground of her business along with her future business opportunity. Prior to leaving both ladies gave us samples of the cupcakes. Crumb on cake was very nice, flavor was strong in all cases, and not overly sweet, and texture was sufficiently, but not overly, moist. Service was excellent, polite and helpful. Used my groupon very easily.Only complaint is: the frosting was far too heavy and overly sweet for my taste. There was little detectable flavor in frosting for pink champagne, man cake, red velvet, and vanilla - just pure sweetness. This is the type of frosting that nearly everyone I know (mid to late twenties) really detests and makes us all think we hate buttercream. But I have had buttercreams elsewhere that I loved. Perhaps proper for a layer cake, for structural integrity, but with cupcakes you have a much higher frosting to cake ratio, which calls for a frosting with lighter consistency and less sweetness. Or perhaps, less frosting. But I dont know if reducing the amount would improve it, as I enjoyed the cupcake more after removing the frosting altogether.

Ordered a custom 2 tier elmo cake, lemon on top and chunkey monkey on the bottom. The cake was so cute looked exactly like the picture I showed her and it tasted amazing ! Very pleased and I will be back for all my events.

Robin and the entire Robins Nest Cakery did such an outstanding job on my wedding cake! The cakery (and another competitive bakery in the area) were both an included part of our package through our reception venue that allowed us to pick either one. After tasting both locations cakes, Robins Nest blew the competition out of the water! The experience at the tasting was absolutely wonderful and she allowed us to try any and every flavor we wanted. There were no upcharges for her special flavors and the staff was willing to be accommodating if we wanted something changed (like chocolate buttercream filling instead of vanilla, etc). Her cakes were moist and absolutely delicious on the day of the event, and delivery was wonderful as well. Robin did an excellent job in making sure my day would be stress and hassle free by communicating well before the date of the event!

We stopped in here for a sweet treat. A little pricy, but you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

We love Robins Nest Cakery! From our wedding ( where we had a small cutting cake, a variety of mini cupcakes at each table, and an incredible junk-food themed grooms cake ) to birthday celebrations ranging from cupcakes to custom cakes - we have always been happy with the product and service we recieved. Robin Sheils, the shop owner and lead baker/designer, is incredibly sweet, knowledable and professional. I highly recommend this bakery!

Thats a lie robin when I called you up to tell you about how dry ALL 5 tiers were and how I knew the venue woman told you it was dried out YOU started screaming so I SCREAMED back, I told you that you could have your pan back which is from hobby lobby for $59.95 the price tags on it once you returned the money for gods sake my pigs on the farm wouldnt even eat the junk and remember I told you I was allergic to fondant and we switched the design up, I had a $1000 cake that no one ate besides a bite and told me it was nasty!*****EDITED TO ADD SINCE I CANT RESPOND****No robin i did not scream at first you started screaming at me right off the bat so i gave it back im not going to let you bully me, like how you ruined my cake !
