You can order stuff online, as well, and pick it up curbside.

Would give a zero if possible, went in for a Milwaukee impact that their website says they have, I called 4 times to confirm if they had it but no answer so I decided to stop in on my way home. Waited for 15 minutes while a gentlemen in the back looks for it only to be told they don’t have one to sell me. Even though it was in their website. This was the 3rd ace hardware that I called that said it was on their website. This one just didn’t answer the phone.

Ace associates are very helpful. Dont have the time for bigbox store - Ace Hardware probably has what you need.

Dont rely on what the website says it has in stock. Overpriced for a hardware store but I made the trip because it showed they had large canning jars in stock in Kenosha. I get here and am told it doesnt matter what it says online, just that we only have it if its on the shelf. Thank you for wasting my time.

Remember the 90s movie Grumpy Old Men? Yeah, neither do I but this is what this store should be named. Employees are not very customer centric and very unfriendly. First, I asked about making a return without a receipt. I was immediately cut off by the above referenced employee that I could not make a return without a receipt, which I kind of figured. However, I had used my Ace Rewards account when I made the purchase so I started to ask if there was a way to look up the purchase using that account and before I could finish my question he began shaking his head and rudely cut me off saying No returns without a receipt! OK, I somewhat understand (I really dont but if its store policy, Ill abide) but in todays day and age most stores dont even issue receipts and if you have an account with them they can usually find your purchase. However, it could have been communicated in a much more friendly manner.So now I have to drop off an item for repair. I almost just left to take this to another store after my experience thus far but I decided to stay. I shouldve listened to my instinct. I arrived at a disaster of a repair desk where I waited a minute or two for an employee. This time an even grumpier individual. I told him I needed to drop this off for repair. He looks around, moving boxes to get in cabinets for a few seconds then abruptly walks away. He comes back about a minute later, slams a tag and a pen down on a box and says name and phone number on the top. So, I do as he said (not asked) after which he tears off the claim check portion and says Well call you when its ready and walks away. No estimate on timing. No thank you! Have a nice day!. Not even a go away, youre bothering me!. Well, at least not verbally but I know thats what he wanted to say.Too bad because theres potential here. The new location is beautiful! But to be successful, you need amazing customer service. Thats what will set a business apart from the others. I can get the same exact items at Lowes and Menards in town or even have them delivered the next day by (gasp!) Amazon! Definitely cheaper at all three places. But Ace is supposed to be know for their above and beyond customer service. Thats their thing. I guess the old Ace mantra The helpful place has gone the wayside. Disappointing.

I went to buy two aluminum corners 5/8X3 the sign showed the price around 6.00 when i checked out the bill was over 40.00 I explained this was not the correct cost. The person offered no action to verify the price. I left went to Manards and paid 3.66 each for the same thing. What a shame. I will no longer shop at Ace Praire Side .Poor customer service.

For a medium sized store, they have an enormous stock of hardware. Even when they dont have many variations of something, they have the item you need. Helpful people, too.

Went in looking for two things. A base for an outside umbrella and a dog tether. I found a worker and she told me I dont know. Those are impulse items. Look by the front. Wont bother trying this place again.

Old school hardware with great service

Super disappointed. Tons of employees wondering around, but when you try to get help they either put their heads down or walk away quickly. No one acknowledged us, nothing was priced. I asked the cashier about power washer she sent me to someone who was already helping someone. I found them myself went back up to the cashier to ask about pricing she yelled through the store to have someone help me. Waited back there for 10 mins no one came. Went back up to the cashier she said ya they are busy with other people you can probably find him around that area....um ok.

My go to place. I been rebuilding several older motorcycles and they have everything that I have needed. Skip going to a stealership and getting robbed for a bolt you can buy for a .25

Ace is the closest hardware store to me so I went here out of necessity. The man that helped me was rude, did not offer to explain any sort of thing about the lawn mower I was purchasing to ME, but explained it to other customers. Couldn’t help but wonder if it was because I was a young woman in a hardware store but I digress.

I had purchased a Toro snowblower in November and in February I received a recall from Toro. I called the store and they were busy because of their move so I gave them my phone number. Two and a half weeks went by and no response. I went to the new store location and they made a copy of my recall notice and I gave them my home and cell phone numbers. It is now two more weeks and I have heard nothing. I am very disappointed in their service. If I would have done this to my customers I would have been fired.

Aces prices are always higher than other retailers but they have a really nice hardware selection. I was impressed with this locations variety, I wish Id thought of checking there for other projects and definitely will go back in the future.

Wonderful clean, and well stocked store. Courteous employees helped me find exactly what I needed. And helped me take it to the car to load. This was my second visit to the store. Both times I was impressed by the knowledge of the employees with the products. I will definitely be shopping here again.

Just stopped in to purchase an item shown available on their website. It wasnt on the shelves but the manager checked their stock on the internet. Had it in the back. Went to look but didnt want to look past the boxes on top. Pure laziness. This was the manager by the way.

Tried all day last week to get someone on the phone. Frustrating! At 4:45, my final message was to have a store manager call me regarding no return call from my 4 earlier messages. I left my name and number and a week later -- still no call.

I ordered Rutland Fire Starters #4023420 on 6/7/2020. My order said they would be in on Monday 6/15. I called the store (afternoon of Monday 6/15) and an unfriendly gentleman told me that he was unpacking things and he did not know where they were. He told me he would CALL ME WHEN they were there. I check my emails and I had got an email at 8:17AM that they were available for pick up. On Tuesday 6/16 went to the store and they could not find them (my order). Was told next week. With Grilling Season I would think they would have this item in great numbers (In Stock).

I got a mix of paint for my project that looks absolutely perfect. Always helpful.

Very nice place to stop and get parts I ended up getting a bolt and a washer for only $0.50 and the very nice cashier let me go out to my car with the bolt and washer to make sure it fits so I made sure I had the right one theyre very nice and kind very clean store and very decent prices I would be stopping there again anytime I need anything in the hardware department also if you need it battery for your keyless Sam car key for your car they will also install those for you at a very low price and replace battery thanks again
