I have been coming here for decades and they have a decent stock of basis fishing supplies and live bait; there hours are hit or miss but it’s still your best bet to get live bait in the upper keys. Some of the guys that work here are nice and helpful specially Marcos.

Please update when you will be closed so people dont waste time driving here.

This has been the place to get bait in KL for 60 years at least. They have more and better tackle now but it was always a last stop when I was a boy coming to fish with my dad. Hit and miss as far as when you can get good fishing reports and advice. They still sell block ice.

Stocked well. Good prices, especially on hooks made by what looks like local companies, nice!!!!! Good customer service. Beats bass pro for convenience, speed, and knowledge.

Live bait. On the main road. Had everything we needed. Bright yellow building cant miss it.

Best place for all things fishing, Matthew is super helpful. They didn’t have a certain rig we needed and he rigged it for us on the spot for no extra charge. Great prices, great service, highly recommend!

They have a good selection, but they never answer their telephone!!! That’s not good customer service. When you call, you always get a generic voice message. Frustrating!!!!

Unfriendly in customer service....Ask for local fishing spot and treated as if I should not ask.What? What? What?Sending me 15 miles down the road.Saying the the area is all private property.

1/16/21 stopper in at 9am for some assistance with bait and tackle. Two employees working and not one of them got off their phone to say good morning and engage in helping. I hope this place closes down. Horrible service. Avoid and take your money elsewhere.

I used to stop here all the time, and a very sweet older gentleman always took excellent care of me. Today when I stopped in and I had the worst service ever! The kid was rude and tried to rush me. (At a bait shop?) anyway I decided to leave and take my money to Captain Bad’s place..

Very helpful and nice guys! Good to have a conversation with, dont just want you in and out. Stocked up with bait even late at night when youd think all the good stuff would be gone. Harty nicely priced shrimp and supplies for a vacation location. Had everything we needed and convenient. Will be our bait shop stop for the remainder of our trip.

Place has really gone downhill. Employees have attitudes, employees talk down to you. Called and asked a VERY simple question that I’m 100% certain they would know answer to and all the employee could do is say IDK, IDK. They would much rather sit and text on their phones rather than provide the customer service they once did. Give your money to another establishment in the keys rather than waste it here. Will NEVER recommend or shop there again.

Has everything you need and more! Came in to grab a fresh fillet knife, walked out with a fresh fillet knife, no issues, no problems, smooth.

Great and friendly staff and opens early enough to have baits in the Water by 7 a.m. . Also my favorite prices on shrimp

Good bait. I caught lots of snapper with the live shrimp they sold me. The employees were cool and friendly. The reason for 4 stars is because one day they didnt have live shrimp so we bought frozen and those worked just as well. 4 1/2 if I could.

Yellow bait house had everything we needed, but we had to bag our own fresh bait.

Great place for bait and tackle. Always have someone who knows what they are doing, cheap prices, but hours are a bit off. They have good size live shrimp and they have goggle eyes, Speedos, and ballyhoo all for a good price. I will definitely be returning here.

Love the accessibility of the store, definitely needed for last minute tackle or bait on the way to the Keys. But, the last few times weve gone the frozen baits werent fully frozen and they were pretty much out of everything. I think a store with that much daily traffic should be able to maintain proper stock of bait.

They had everything I needed for mangrove snuck and reef fishing. There was a very helpful young man with curly hair whose name I forget now.

Great place to buy bait, Ive been coming here a lot but recently noticed they have been selling rotten herring. Ove baught 4 boxes and have had to toss them. Not sure whats going on there but other than that all the other bait and tackle is great here. Reccomend everything except the box of herring!

I live at mm 104, so this shop was very convenient. I was in there once or twice a week for about 3 years. Tipped generously too.About 1.5 years ago, Tommy, was rude as he could be. I thought he was joking, but he wasnt. He clearly didnt remember me- not that it matters.I wont be back as long as hes there.Capt. Petes is where I shop now.

Rarely have live shrimp and bait anymore. Used to be my go-to place in Key Largo.

Great place to grab last minute bait, ice and fishing gear. They also do fishing licences ( cash only for the lisence). They will answer questions for you as well! Staff is nice! I only give 5 stars for perfect experiences and those who go above and beyond, 4 stars is a very good review from me!

The live bait is good but the last two times Ive been in there the guys were extremely rude. Im a local and Ive fished these waters my whole life but they acted like I was some tourist coming in and asking them for all their secret spots. I hate giving 3 stars and below which is why after the 1st experience I gave them another chance. Find another bait store in the area. I would recommend one but I dont want to seem biased. They need to change their attitudes.

Employees were very unhelpful even after spending upwards of 60 bucks here. When asked what was hot right now they said “there are some snapper around” and we were in the Florida Keys... would not recommend to anyone

They usually have frozen bait like squid but sometimes dont have live shrimp. When they do have live shrimp they give you the smallest ones.
