Great service, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Wow they have EVERYTHING. Including home supplies, power tools, Benjamin Moore paint, electrical, plumbing, gardening, marine supplies, widgets etc etc. It was incredible and the staff is super. And no Im not related to anyone there, I just appreciate excellence.

I never imagined a hardware store as helpful and happy as this is Strunk Ace hardware. These people will greet you with a smile and take you by the hand to bring you to the products that you request. I could go on at length, but I will tell you that they deserve five stars, four hearts, and if I could I would pin a medal on their chests. Only in heaven would all the retail stores be as wonderful as these people are.

Because if you do not carry you have something just like. She said let’s look up the ingredients and. Prosecuted to look for that in your products. This store is different than other ACE stores along the island chain. Its more themed and larger. Even their coupons are only good at this store and ones from others are not. But, the coupons never expire. I just redeemed one that was six months old. They carry a good supply and variety so check it out one day instead of the Home Depot run.

Earlier in the day, I was told by a manager at the BIG ORANGE BOX, Sorry, but your the wrong kind of Veteran to get a discount. I didnt know there was a wrong kind of Veteran.So, Strunk Ace Hardware has earned a life long customer.

Amazing hardware store. We were headed there and my wife said hey there is Home Depot. Against my better judgement but trying to respect my wifes input I stopped. That was a waste of 20 minutes. So back on track to Strunk Ace Hardware Store.They had everything we needed and people there to help us with our needs.If you want to save time I suggest Strunks Ace Hardware.

What kind of hardware do you need? Go straight to STRUNK HARDWARE for it! Nails and screws of all sizes and description, shingles, paint, brushes, rollers/handles, sheet rock and accessories. Cant remember all that they do have, but, go see them! Should they not have it, they are able to fulfill your request. They even have an older pickup truck on display for your enjoyment! :) 12/10/18

Try to go here if you are unhappy with Home Depot. The service and sincerity are outstanding. I find items here that cannot easily be found elsewhere and there is plenty of staff who are on top of their game to help you.

A welcome and superior alternative to home depot and dam if they dont have what im looking for most of the time. The staff never inconvenienced to answer questions. Very consistent friendliness. Best part is they ARE NOT HOME DEPOT!!!

Some of the older men there are very condescending. Even when they were doing nothing but chatting with other staff when I needed help. Next time I will go to Home Depo where people are happy to help you.

Their commercial says that Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks. They are not that friendly thats Strunk.

Awesome we showed up a few mins past closing time and they welcomed and helped us like they were opening. I felt so bad as I know people want to go home. We are visiting area and brought bikes but forgot our bike locks. Helped out taking time to show us to aisle where locks were and cashier so friendly. Nobody rushed us out, and they were so pleasant. Awesome customer service.

Strunks is more of a store than the other giant hardware chain, which is more like a ginormous warehouse. Strunks is much easier for me to find stuff in; they have some different and more fun merchandise, and the service is outstanding.

There is very few times working in the contractor world you run into supplier who knows their trade to the subject matter expert level. If you want a subject matter expert in hardware head to this location and speak with Jim! Hands down the most knowledgeable person when it comes to hardware and fasteners. Helped us thru a critical installation to a specialized material.Plus the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I walked in and explained my issue and the lady at the front directed me to the back in the hardware section. The staff in the back help me achieve the gold on my project.Once again if you have a hardware or fastener problem head here and go find Jim he has the knowledge to solve the problem.

Despite the limited selection of certain things (that is usually on hand at HD), I have gone to Strunk Ace Hardware in the past for their customer service. I was disappointed on my last (and perhaps final) trip there though, when I asked for a self closing shower valve, the only one left was on display. They said it may he a week before more arrive, so I asked if I could just buy the floor display model. The plumbing section attendant said no, I could wait until more come in next week. I was on a time line for this project so I appealed to him again, saying this one would be fine, didnt really care about the wear it received, he then gave me a rather loud and firm sounding NO and turned around and walked away, leaving me and the other gentleman that was helping me (who was nice but didnt know plumbing). Rather put off by this fella, I set down the other items I was purchasing and left the store immediately. Didnt really get a friendly vibe from the front cashier either.Too bad, I like supporting locally businesses, but not if they treat customers like that. Found what I needed on amazon for the same price and it arrives tomorrow.

These people are the best consumer oriented retailers, I have ever dealt with. They are there to help and seem to be hired with a sense of humour, as well.Retail staff from a whole multitude of suppliers and services could well learn from these folks, the true value of serving customers well.The minute a line starts to form at the cash register, the word goes out and all staff march up-front. They well know that Ka-ching does not happen at the back of the store, it is always at the check-out!Well done.
