Maui has some of the best shore diving I’ve ever experienced. We brought our own equipment but needed tanks and weights. We got those and more at B&B! Their incredible staff helped us plan several shore dives in unique spots and allowed us to discover amazing sea life around the island. Their low-pressure, ready-to-please customer service was even better than their awesome prices. Newly installed GM Ryan went above and beyond each day to have tanks and advice ready for us. I’ll definitely use them again on the next trip and explore their boat trip options. Thanks, team!

Booked B&B scuba for the 2 tank molokini dives and enjoyed both dives! Levin and Carl were great! Had such a great time I decided to book a 2nd trip while I was staying in Maui. This is even after an air bnb screw up put me north of Lahaina but enjoyed their group so much drove back down at 4am yo catch their boat. Second crew was equally as fun (Ryan, Glen, Wednesday). Would dive again with company in the future.

Booked and paid for a scuba trip last week to go diving on Sunday September 26th. We were told that they were one of the first boats out so we needed to be there by 5:45 am. We were coming from Kahana and left by 4:45 am.My husband and I waited and saw other boats taking off and found another gentleman who was also waiting for B&B scuba. We all called several times and no one answered. We went up to Pro Divers boat around 6:20 am and asked if they had room for us. Captain Keone and Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure they could accommodate the three of us stranded by B&B. They saved the day! At 9 am Wednesday called us to say she was sorry and asked if we wanted to reschedule but we asked for a refund because we can’t trust B&B. She felt bad and sad and said she knew nothing about it. It’s rude to hold up paying customers and not bother to email or call to say that you canceled a dive trip.

Ryan was extremely helpful and informed us about the many different activities that the island has to offer.

Fantastic dive! The guys on the boat were super friendly, helpful and very professional. I am a newbie diver, and havent dived for a year because of the pandemic. I was anxious. They helped me assemble the equipment, figure out the best wetsuit, etc. During the dive they watched very carefully and gave me some coaching tips which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!

Tommy was the best scuba scuba guide we’ve ever had and he made us feel very comfortable and safe. You could tell safety was his number one priority while keeping it fun. He knows where to find the best spots to see wildlife. We had a blast!

Lowest 2tank boat dive price we could find. $130 with rental gear!! Most places were about $20 higher then gear was additional. They have a nice boat and great staff. Dive masters were knowledgeable and helpful in finding new fish and sea life during the dives. The boat is a catamaran style hull so barely felt the waves and went on a very windy day! Dive turtle town and 5caves 5graves.

Definitely one of the best dive shop weve gone without a doubt. Amazing service, professional,very responsive and helpful staffs, and definitely fabulous dive masters. Scott, one of the owner helped us reserve our dives, and guided us on 2 amazing scooter dives (which I highly recommend if you have not done it). If you are planning to go to Molokini, make sure you go with them, as they are one of the earliest boat to go there, which makes it less crowded. Its an amazing dive spot as the visibility is unbeatable with lots of marine life, and room to dive peacefully. We will go back next time we are in Maui.

Booked a week in advance with B&B, as we had previous good dives with them when we were here a few years ago. Spoke with them on the phone, received a confirmation e-mail, ant thought we were set. When we got on island we were looking around in a dive shop close to our condo, and they told us that the B &B boat hadn’t been going out because of mechanical issues for several weeks. We went to B&B to check with them the day before our first scheduled dive, thinking the other shop might not have the latest information. Nope. Boat was down, no one had contacted us to let us know, and the guy at the counter said we weren’t listed in their computer system, or in their paper schedule. Tried to convince me that I was mistaken about who I booked with until I showed him the confirmation email. Barely got an apology. Will never book with them again. We found another dive shop that also uses the Kihei boat ramp, and was able to accommodate our schedule. Had 3 great days of diving with a more professional staff.

Bought and paid for 100 fills on my tank card. They changed ownership and took half my remaining fills away because they said it was too long and they changed ownership. Always trying to argue with you when you go in there and take more of your money. Always drinking beer in the shop, not wearing masks during pandemic.... Their boat always clogs up the ramp every morning at 5AM (they are only supposed to be there 15 minutes MAX at the dock, but these jokers sit there over an hour sometimes). These kooks shouldnt be allowed to run a food truck, let alone a dive shop.

Fantastic shop! Friendly and personable staff, very accommodating. Dove Makena Landing park and was guided by Tommy. Tommy was fantastic, did a great briefing, thorough gear check and pre dive safety / buddy check. Very knowledgeable and got to explore most of what the park had to offer which was one of the best dives I have done to date.Next time in Maui there will receive my business again! What an awesome crew this company has. I dived with them 4 times this past week. The crew aways made sure I was diving new sites and included me in those decisions. Rented snorkel gear here for the week. Was able to try on a couple of different goggles to make sure they fit well. Very pleased with the gear and the service. Also the best price in town. Will definitely be my go to place next time.

We went to this dive shop because we had a good reference from this place, but the lady who takes the reservations is so rude that we nearly left without booking! She didn´t give us any information and barely answered our questions. Usually staff at dive shops are so friendly that this stroked us. The dive went smoothly, 1st dive in Molokini crater and 2on close to shore. Dive instructors very friendly and small group of divers. All good!

Got certified open water with B&B scuba and could not have asked for a better crew to experience diving for my very first time with! Stan and Brad were my personal guides and man did they help me break through and feel so comfortable! Thank you deeply for these memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. Did my scuba referral dives with Brad and he could not have been a better instructor. He was very patient and made sure I was doing the skills correctly and that I was comfortable. Had a great time on the boat with the crew and a fantastic certifying experience. I could not recommend B & B more.

If you want to experience a relaxed, comfortable, experienced and funny crew, you should select B&B! My 16 year old son and I have had the good fortune to dive together with many dive companies across the globe over the past 4 years. I was impressed that B&B had a goal to have 1 dive master with every 4 guests. We dove with Matt who was awesome and found an octopus for our group of 4! My son and I had never seen one!! So cool! He also spotted a group of fast moving bottle nosed dolphins! B&B had us out early and back quickly so my son and I could enjoy the remainder of the day with my wife and daughter who do not dive. I had emailed several dove companies prior to visiting Maui and most didn’t respond, or very short with their response. Brad and Blesi (B&B) were the only ones that responded quickly and throughly! I had a ton of questions and they were very understanding. We had a ton of laughs during the excursion because of the quick witted humor of the crew. If you want a fun relaxed comfortable experienced crew, I would highly recommend B&B. My son and I had a chance after the dive to catch up with Brad back at the shop and he is a great human! Told us a few heart felt stories how they were able to take some children with disabilities diving, including one for a “make a wish” organization. Good people.

We did 2 days of diving with B&B, including an Open Water Certification. The whole crew was friendly, safe, and helpful.Our guide, Stan, was incredibly patient and went the extra mile to show us interesting marine life.If and when we come back to Maui, we will be using B&B for diving.

Great service at a great price! My fiance and I went and I could dive as an open-water certified diver and she went for her very first time. All the staff were extremely friendly and made her feel very comfortable. Matt was an awesome guide! Great bunch of people.

Absolutely do NOT go to this company. They make no exceptions for their cancellation policies. My wife and I had arranged one day of diving and the day before she injured herself surfing. We called immediately and they would rather have made her dive injured than refund one day of diving costs. Clearly, this company puts money above safety. Dont risk it.

Always a pleasure to dive with B&B scuba. Brad and crew made it a fun, enjoyable experience, as well as facilitated a great certification process. This is the best dive charter on Maui and will be my go to for years to come.

Wasn’t impressed with this company so don’t understand why they have a high rating. The captain was good, nice and helpful but the guide was cocky and not safe at all. Very little briefing about the sites, treated guests as though they were an inconvenience and too slow, and didn’t observe common safety rules like suggesting a buddy check, checking weight on the surface of the first dive and descending together. In fact, he encouraged diver after diver to “just head down” by themself - what? After suggesting it to me a few times I had to remind him that descending to 25m alone is incredibly unsafe. They kept referring to the fact they had to get the boat back at a certain time and as such we needed to hurry up. For the price we paid and for the tip shell they put front and centre at the end of the dives, they could have shown a bit more hospitality. I worry about new divers being taught their bad and risky habits. Unfortunately, I missed a day because my alarm didn’t go off. I know this was my fault but given the cost, I had to enquire about getting out with them a different day instead or even get a partial refund. I was abruptly told “you ain’t gonna get no refund”. Okay.... in the end, two days was plenty with this group. Wouldn’t recommend.

This not a cattle boat. Assistance for those that need it, independence for those that don’t. Well led dives in good locations. Small groups, good open water boat, great staff.

My wife was very apprehensive about diving, because it had been some time since our previous dive. They limit the number of divers to only 4 per instructor, so there was a lot of attention. Instructor was very competent and personable. Time on boat was also very good.

Great dive shop with awesome instructors. They offer great two tank trips and we always see new things even on the rare repeat dive. My wife learned to dive here and they really know what they are doing. The dives are conducted professionally and in a relaxed atmosphere. They seem to know most of the local fish on Molokini on a first name bases and where to find even the rare ones. This is a top notch company and when we are on Maui we always dive with them.

These guys are great. Brad is pretty chill and knows when to get professional. Great crew and great well set-up dive boat... best one Ive been on in the last 5 dives.

I was certified with B&B two years ago and have made numerous dives with them each time I come to the island. Great people, family owned and operated, fun, safe, informative, knowledgable, and caring. One of the owners, Blesi, has been on every trip I have gone on and takes the time every night to make cookies, sandwiches, and cut fresh fruit for the divers the following day. The whole crew makes you feel comfortable, couldnt ask for a better dive shop or experience. I have 4 other family members that have been certified with them and most recently my sister flew from Alaska just to be certified by them because of how highly I spoke of the crew. Thank you B&B.

My fiancée did her open water dives for certification with b&b. She had Stan for an instructor and he was super patient with her even when she was scared to try breathing under water. He never rushed her and when she went back after being certified for a regular dive, she did great! The rest of the crew was also excellent and were organized and friendly.

Did a dive with them to Molokini. The folks at the office were great and friendly and the dive was better than hoped. Amazing clarity and a great diveThe boys on the boat are the reason the rating is so low. Two of the three gentlemen have forgotten that condescending remarks, which they seem to view as funny, at the expense of paying customers are not appreciating. This maybe funny to them, but not to myself or the people I dove with that day.

Never dove before the owner was really patient and professional it took me a wile to dive in when I did it was great he took really goo care of me and always make sure to let people know if they needed something to ask.the staff in the boat where great will definitely do it again

I did my refresher course with Steve off shore at Keawakapu beach ....he was calming and professional, all went well. The following week I went on two dives with B & B Scuba and my husband went snorkeling, great crew, made sure we felt comfortable, small groups ....very safe!!

Literally hours after landing, I was on the boat with the best dive masters and viewing incredible underwater life.B&B has a way of making everyone feel comfortable. From the highly skilled, frequent diver to the just certified, as Matt loves to say, breath, kick, follow me.These guys make every dive magical! My best suggestion is to book multiple dives, you will not regret spending your mornings with these guys and the ocean gods have lots to share in beautiful Maui!I am heading back in just a few weeks and so ready to have many mornings blowing bubbles with these guys!Original Review Dec 2018:I had the pleasure of diving with B&B almost daily during my month long visit to Maui. We called several shops in the area, to ask just shy of a million questions, prior to visiting the island. Our 10 year old daughter was super excited to get certified during our trip. We selected another shop and planned for her to get certified with them. After being on the island for a few days and they jerked us around about certification process we found B&B and called them. The next day, they has us on the boat and Stan was working with her one-on-one (something the other shop refused to do). Stan made sure my daughter was completely comfortable and confident with her skills. His calm demeanor was exactly what she needed.Brad and Blesi have the best staff. Christina in the shop was excellent with all her communication and getting us booked for dive trips. Shane, Matt and Stan made each morning on the boat and trip underwater amazing. I really appreciated that B&B is the first dive boat out in the morning (prime pick of all the spots) and gets you back to the boat landing with plenty of time to enjoy all the other beauty of the island.Do yourself a favor, book several dives with these guys while you are in town, you will enjoy all the beautiful dive sites and the great staff! Completed our referral dives with B&B. Stan, Matt and the rest of the crew were excellent. If I was to do it again, I would complete the whole PADI Open Water program with them. Loved that we completed our referral dives at Molokini and a couple of other sites and not just at the beach.

Great dive to the Molokini Crater. Got there early, saw the sunrise, and beat the crowds. The crew was very good, but all business. Be sure to let them know if youre apprehensive or need other help.

Capt. and crew were: fun, professional and very experienced; we loved the Hawaiian sweet bread and fresh pineapple. Saw rays, eels, sharks, whales and unusual fish that Dave pointed out. Good dive but I dont think these guys are good guides. The regulator that they gave me had issues thru-out the dive. I told them but they decided to look at me as if I had no experience. Ive been on 100+ dives filled 3 dive books and have had my own equipment. I know when the reg is not working well. The dive master to me was not taught well enough to keep people together. There are better dive boats around I would recommend.

Boat is fast! 15Min trip to dive site. Molokini. Crew is good. Best equipment. Comfort is all about diving. They give you hot shot guns as part of your dive package. Hotshots have the softest most comfortable foot pocket. No pressure on the feet while diving. So nice. Crew and capt. are excellent. B&b best boats to go out and dive in Maui.early starts to best all the crowds at dive sites. And great super convenient boat launch at keihi boat ramp. Super close to all hotels. Not the bs drive 30 min to launch. And add 45 each to for boat ride back to dock. Then. Drive again. This is the most convenient and best crew to dive with. Hands down been diving consecutive days with them. And not loving it.

Dove Molokini with B&B on Thanksgiving. They are the best. Blesi is an angel. Low stress, even with 5 nervous kids freshly certified on the mainland. Get up early and be there. Wish we were still there. Aloha

They promised us as non-certified divers we would go snorkeling when the certified divers go diving. They did not do this. We specifically chose them because of this as my friend was afraid to go diving and they told us this would help get him used to it. He therefore had a panic attack when they told him he could not go and refused to go in the water when we got to scuba diving. I got stuck on the boat because they did not let us go in and got sea sick and spent the rest throwing up and did not get to do my dive. When I called to complain the owner was never around and never called me back.

Great personalized service and reasonable prices. No large crowds and a very friendly crew. B&B is the only dive service Ill use on Maui.

Awesome two tank dive at Molokini with Brad and his crew. Very experienced and considerate of all skill levels. The ratio to instructors to customers is the lowest i have ever seen, almost 2 divers per instructor. This was not our first dive and not our first time to Molokini but it was by far one of the best. We had high surf conditions which was considered well in advance of our departure which further enhanced our safety and comfort. My wife and i had not dove since our first child was born and although we are PADI cert, they gave us a quick refresher making the transition back into the sport simple.Honestly, not the most experienced myself, but i have dove with several companies all over the world and B&B is the best operation to date. There are some close seconds, but the crew made all of the difference. Thanks for the great morning and memorable Manta Ray sighting, we will be back!Jeff & Jen

Booked with these folks through Aloha Concierge in Wailea 3 days before the dives. Paid in full. The night before the dives (which start at 5h45), received a phone call from them at 19h30 saying the boat was broken (understandable) and we rescheduled for the next day. I then called in to confirm the dive was still on for the next morning. They told us we were good to go and to be at the docks at 5h45.So the morning of the dive, we get up at 4h00, drive out to wailea, are at the docks at 5h30 and basically they never showed up and did not even call to warn us. What kind of idiot does this his customers ? Ended up having to drive back up to the concierge to be sure to have a refund. Luckily, another diving company had room and took us last minute to molokini which was great !! Dont even think about booking with B&B, They just dont care about you and only want your money. If I could not even give a star, I would.

I have always had good diving with B&B. They are safe,always positive and fun during the dives. I have dove a number of sites from Molokini, Deep Pinnacles, the WWII wrecks, Degausing staion, etc... Pretty much done it all with B&B over the years.

Terribly rude, Not interested to answer our questions.
