I love Ulta Beauty and I spend quite a bit of money at this particular store throughout the year, mostly because of its proximity to where I live. However, customer service here is a mixed bag, and it depends on the day really. I usually shop online and pick up in-store.On one recent visit, I stood at the front register by pick-up window for 10 minutes before any employee acknowledged my presence. On a previous visit, an employee did immediately greet me and asked if I was there for a pick-up, but proceeded to ring up another customer and didn’t call anyone over to assist me or let me know that it would be a few minutes. I was completely ignored for a good period of time.I’m sorry, but I do think that customers are judged on their appearance by the majority of employees at this store and that it dictates the level of service that the customer receives. I hate to make this claim, but based on what I’ve seen and my own personal experience, I believe it’s true.

I’ve been seeing the BEST brow artist I’ve ever met for almost 5 years now. Jacque with benefit is so kind and professional, I literally won’t see any one else!!! She has my eye brows on point EVERY TIME, and their smoother than a baby’s bottom!! Plus you get to shop for all your makeup needs when your done, it’s a win win if you ask me!

I’ve been to the Ulta in King of Prussia several times and have seen Devyn there. She is absolutely amazing and really worked her magic on my hair all the times I’ve been! She has also made me feel so comfortable being in her chair!

Jacquelyn does my eyebrows and shes absolutely amazing! Not only does she make me look beautiful but she’s so easy to talk to and has become friend. I highly recommend going to her!!

I was nervous about getting my hair done at a salon like Ulta; past experience has been that salons like this didn’t do “my kind” of hair. I took a chance and couldn’t be more pleased. I see Alicia and am always very pleased. My hair has become healthier with leas breakage. She’s always pleasant, and the other staff I have encountered are courteous and pleasant, too. I’ve been going here for at least two years for my brows (Jacque) and a little over a year for my hair. I hope Alicia and Jacque never leave! They are the best.

Disappointing store. Larger Ulta than most with great selection but customer service is lacking. This is the second time I have come to this store and each time I have to seek an employee out for help. The lady at the counter was pleasant after awhile but it took me asking for something locked away before she even spoke to me. Also, the salon employees were laughing so loudly they could be heard from the front of the store.

Been coming here for over two years for Jacque to do my brows and I never leave disappointed. Service is wonder and Jacque is amazing at making your eyebrows flawless. I would highly recommend!!

I’ve been going to Devyn for a couple years now for my hair and I will NEVER let anyone else touch my hair. She does an INCREDIBLE job and is so pleasant and friendly! She always knows exactly what I want, and nails it every time! I cannot recommend Devyn enough!!

Jacque has been my go-to for brow services for almost two years and is the best. She is very gentle, professional, and consistent. I have very blonde eyebrows and she shapes and tints them perfectly! I always leave feeling more confident. Thanks Jacque :)

I have been to this Ulta several times and have been disappointed with the service almost every time. The store always seems understaffed and staff come off disinterested/rude. Today I went in and no one was at the checkout counter. A lady with blue hair saw me standing there and walked away without acknowledging me. A lady with a short blonde bob also saw me and did not say anything to me. I had to go to the hair salon at the back before I found someone who would acknowledge me. I eventually left without buying the moisturizer I went in for, I realized it would be easier to get it from Sephora.

BEST EYEBROW WAX EVER!! will never let anyone but Jacque touch my brows again! Cannot reccomend the brow bar at KOP ulta more, run there today!!

I love this location! The employees there are so sweet and kind AND generous! Got 3 awesome samples with my purchase just because!! Everyone who works there is so helpful and will go above and beyond to help me find the items I need! Here is a picture of the items and samples I received♡

All the staff was incredibly helpful and the selection was amazing!

I went here to find a new foundation because the brand I used to buy went out of business and I was having a hard time finding a replacement that was the right shade for my skin color. Even though I couldnt try out the samples due to covid restrictions, the Ulta employee immediately found a shade of Lancome foundation that perfectly matched my skin! Im impressed with it every time I put it on. It would be nice if they could find a safe way to let people try on samples though.

When I read that Ulta carries the Shea Moisture cosmetics line, I just had to come check it out. I was also happy to find that they had an amazing variety of NYX makeup.

A little chaotic on the shelving, I was over whelmed as I only wanted to browse certain areas. Ended up asking a staff member for the specific things I was looking for versus browsing because it just felt a little overwhelming. The shells were very Well stocked but almost overstocked. However the associate that helped me and check me out were both lovely and very friendly.

I have been get my eyebrows done with Jackie who is just AMAZING. When I told her that I was considering getting some highlights she recommend me Alicia. I scheduled my appointment and was super nervous, I have naturally curly hair and I know that not everybody knows how to work my texture. That wasnt the case with Alicia. I showed her a few pictures of what I was envisioning and the girl delivered it spot on. Im very pleased with the end result. Besides being a very talented professional, Alicia has a great personality. If you have naturally curly hair Alicia ia your girl!

Today was my 1st attempt in using an Ulta Salon. I loved it Alicia was my stylist and she was absolutely amazing! She made me feel right at home. Her knowledge of hair is infinite. She offered products as well as explained the benefits. Not to mention, my hair looks amazing. During my visit I also met Nick, who is clearly a make-up genius. Do yourself a favor and schedule your next hair and make-up appts with Alicia and Nick!

My spouse was looking for something specific. One of the floor employees helped us find it and made recommendations/ got her samples of the product.

Wish I could give 5 stars but I can’t. I made an appointment because I really wanted a change and something fun so I came in for a pink. Everyone was really nice but unfortunately the color didn’t even last a week, I came in on Monday and on Friday it was already faded away. I understand these colors don’t last long but Not less than a week. I’m disappointed to be honest!

I have been going here for a couple years since I followed my stylist here from her previous place of employment. Danielle H. is so incredibly gifted. She has taken my tresses from dark brown to strawberry blonde to bright blonde and it has looked amazing every time. She listens to what I want to do and she talks through her plan with ease and confidence leaving me feeling secure knowing my hair is gonna be bomb. The store is always brightly lit and everyone is super nice and helpful - you cant go wrong.When all this stay at home business is over, and were allowed to resume our regular lives again, make an appointment with Danielle H. at the Ulta Salon in King of Prussia, and take your hair to the next level!!

I came here a few months ago to get my hair done. I wanted a change from what I had. Devyn helped me out with cut and color and did great! I was so happy with the result that I will be coming back to her from now on. I will continue making the drive over an hour to come to Devyn. Its worth the great quality service she did for me!

Walked in to look at shampoos that remove color from hair and wound up talking to Ashley. Ashley not only educated me on a variety of products but she gave me a coupon for her hair services. After some consideration, I took her up on her offer. I was attempting to remove purple hair color on the underside of my hair (top half of my head was normal, bottom half was purple!). She kindly walked me through the whole process of what she would need to do and assisted me in picking out possible hair colors. The whole dying process was painless and so easy. She dyed over the purple (because I chose a dark brown color) and washed and cut my hair. I have very curly hair and she did the most fabulous job! She knew the layers would be shorter since my hair is curly and took extra time to ensure my layers were seamlessly blended!! By far, this has been one of the best hair experiences Ive had in a long time. Did I mention the price was under $78 for everything?! :)

Had my hair done by Marisa 3 times now and she is incredible! She is very professional and polite and a great stylist. She is colored, cut, styled and permed my hair and each time I walk out happier then I thought I would. Even if you arent sure what it is you are looking for she has a way of figuring it out and making you look flawless!

I absolutely am in awe of the amazing talents of the salon staff at Ulta in King of Prussia. I had my hair done by Marisa who was very professional and pleasant. She dyed, cut my hair, and blew it out and I was in absolute shock of how amazing it looked. Marisa is incredibly talented and was really knowledgeable. I would recommend the salon and Marisa to all my friends and family.

Customer friendly and well maintained. You dont need to be an expert in choosing your perfume. Simple explanation of perfume composition helped me a lot in choosing mine. I recommend everyone to at least visit this place for the experience...

I thought I had found an ulta close to home, making it easier on me. I am done with that store. Will go back to the ulta store I know. All my fuss is about one worker that Ive had two encounters with. The first time I wanted to get a shade. The shade I was given after it was purchased, had my face looking dark and my neck fair. The second time, she had such a demeaning attitude as if I did not belong there. I had to take in a deep breath not to give an attitude too. That was my last time in that store. Never again.

Great clearance section

Ive gone to this Ulta several times and experienced nothing but friendly, helpful employees. Yesterday, I had an appointment with the salon. I got a haircut and highlights with John (the salon manager) and I was blown away! Ive been getting my hair cut by the same person for the last 10 years, but since I moved, I needed to find somewhere closer. John spent the first 10 minutes of my appointment talking to me about my hair, asking what I like and dont like about my current style, looking at pictures I had found. He put me at ease right away and made me feel very comfortable. I couldnt believe the time an attention he spent on making sure that everything was perfect. His attention to detail was outstanding. He managed to take the handful of inspiration pictures I had and blend them with what I requested and turned all of that into a gorgeous color and style that felt 100% me. When I left the salon, my hair looked great and I felt amazing.

The store is lovely, however the service is not. I was in the store for at least 30 minutes swatching products and looking for items and was not once approached or offered help. The only person who even made eye contact with me was an Caucasian woman who kept following me into different aisles giving me glares while acting like she was adjusting products. I assumed she was a random customer...until she walked away and offered to help a customer who had just walked in, kindly asking if she needed help. 3 guesses at the difference between the person who walked in and myself, and the first 2 dont count. I am not one to cry discrimination at the slightest inconvenience, but in this case it was very blatant. I reached out to customer service, and a very disinterested person took my information, did not offer any apologies, and said Id hear from someone in 24 to 72 hours. I will definitely not come back to this location.

The staff are passionate and patient. Recommended products for my 4a hair I would never have thought to try. Great results.

I had a really difficult order where not everything was in stock, so in order to honor my coupon, the associate had to order it through a special payment. That also made paying with my particular card difficult, so they found a work around where I purchased a gift card on the usual computer and then paid on the scanner with that. All in all, the manager and the cashier were nothing but sweet and patient despite effectively ringing me out three times! I even offered to run to Starbucks and grab them coffee for their patience and they just laughed and said it happens more than I might think.

Dragged in to this place by our 11 year old duaghter.I dont know jack about makeup and such but this place makes her light up like a Christmas tree so thats what counts. If she is happy then that makes us happy.

Great hair products

I always go to Exton Ulta because it is closer. I never have a problem there but I also don’t see great service. I’ve asked plenty of people for help and one girl said she was about to go on break and didn’t help. Needless to say I stopped at the kop Ulta and I walked into smiling faces. Compliments and very comfortable and personable conversations. I will drive the extra 20 minutes for this place !

Rose in the hair salon is awesome. I have been going to her for a year and she always listens to what I want my hair to look like. She is well versed in the various hair products and very attentive to her clients. I would definitely recommend Rose

My first and last visit to this location. I stopped here on my way home from work on a Friday evening. If taking 20 minutes to find parking wasn’t bad enough (This is a high traffic shipping center), the staff did not greet or assist me while I browsed the store trying to find what I stopped for (two items). I felt like I had to settle on the lack of options I ultimately did find (without assistance). Compared to other Ulta stores in the area, this one needs to step their game up quick.

Im a huge Ulta fan. There is nothing wrong with a trip to the store. I really like the store because its conveniently located and not far from Davios coffee shop. The only problem I have with this store, is the parking! During the weekend its so hard to find a spot. I must say, I have not had much interaction with their Salon or a lot of their personnel. The interactions Ive had with the people that work there has been Pleasant and not pushy.

Store is always clean. The staff can be hit or miss. Sometimes theyre up your butt in customer service and some times you cant find one when you really need one but it is the best Ulta Ive been to in the area. When they do help they are very kind and knowledgeable.

My hair is amazing!! Rini was incredible, and really had a hard head of hair to work with, but I walked out with Instagram worthy hair! Everyone in the store was kind and very helpful, but super props to the Salon and Brow Bar!

2/3 of the employees on the store floor were extremely nice and helpful. But the one older women was rude and acted like I couldn’t afford the stuff in there. It kinda bothered me. But the other two employees were super helpful, enthusiastic, and polite and I appreciated it! Other than that the store was very clean and organized. It was my first time in an ulta as I don’t wear makeup and was in there for lipgloss, I do think they have a large selection and I’ll be going back to explore more products. Only problem I have with the store was the one associate and that kinda messed up my experience.

Their salon is horrible!!! Im looking for a new stylist as I sit here and wait for my stylist to acknowledge Im here. Ive come here 3 times and every single time its a long wait. The stylist constantly overbook their clients. You should never have to wait more than 15 minutes and Ive waited over 30!!!!. Im on time and we agreed on this time when I set my appointment, why cant you be on time. I dont have all evening to sit in a salon. Its just horrible!!!

Sadly they do not know how to cut men’s hair and some admit it (but after they’re done). Beware Devyn she cut a huge chunk out off one side of my hair, looked terrible took several weeks for the hole to grow in and she didn’t even apologize - for guys look anywhere else to get a haircut

I have a teen daughter and get dragged here all the time. Good selection and quality products. Pricey! I never go without a coupon. Worth joining the rewards club if youre a frequent flyer.

If you need your eyebrows waxed, Jackie at the Benefit brow bar is your girl. Shes absolutely AMAZING. Everyone I have to sent to her as been completely obsessed. Shes so sweet and is beyond great at what she does.

Worst experience ever. Staff / especially at registers unhelpful. This is my 3rd time when staff was rude - couldn’t explain when asked as well as line moved v slow.I won’t shop there again!! Location is convenient but staff is the worst !

Rini was amazing. I got a cut and style and a smoothing treatment. I have very corse hair. She took the time to find products to work for me and was really sweet. Not overly expensive cut style and softening treatment came to $60.Vanessa was the bees knees as well. Very helpful in the makeup department matching me with full coverage foundation. Such a sweet heat.

I love the Ulta brand and use their products time after time but this specific Ulta was rude and not helpful. I called about product issues and online ordering issues they caused and still refused to help me. They were short and bitter with responses and told me to talk to costumer service (whom told me the store could help me) without hearing me out. They treated me like a 14 year old who doesn’t know anything and took little care into connecting with me. There staff is small witch leaves everyone waiting in line for hours, especially on busy days. I am very disappointed and will not be visiting again.

The only thing thats keeping me from rating 1 star is the wonderful women that helped me find my right shade in a brand I wanted. When I first walked in one of the gentlemen working there tried to push lancome brand on me even though I said I wanted cruelty free. He then argued with me that it was cruelty free. I am aware of my brands and despite that I said I was interested in 1 of 3 brands non of which were lancome. Well I got what I was looking for and went to check out. The cashier was very nasty and rude. I was willing to look past the gentlemen being pushy but the cashier being snippy with me no thank you. Ill be returning my purchase when I can get back here and buying online. I do not need snobby nastiness in my life.

I love Ulta but somehow the girl at the register charged me for 3 extra products I never put on the counter. When she told me my total I asked how much my moisturizer was (normally $60ish, my total was $152) and she didnt have a response. I walked off to the side checked my receipt and bag and she had put in my bag and charged me for 3 extra products. Luckily I checked and returned them asap. She offered no apology smh

Never thought I would step foot in am ULTA. Had no idea what to expect. But now that I have I think Im hooked of course its bc of my hairdresser who moved here but I love that now I can get my hair products replaced at the same time I get my hair done. I love that I can get my eyebrows done also and all the different makeup available. Hair salon isnt as closed off as I would have liked but its still nice and clean.

Don’t try to call this store. I waited on hold 11 minutes, someone kept picking the phone up and putting it back on hold. Seriously ridiculous, especially since it was a quick question about a product one of their consultants recommended.

I like the salon at Ulta because the prices are reasonable for the service and they are always friendly.

Good selection but overall pricy and lack of testers feels like poor form.

I like Ulta but sometimes it is really hard to get your answers over the weekend because everyone is busy. Visit during week days.

I got my hair cut(GUY CUT) with Rini at KOP Ulta. Never knew they cut hair..... She is a pro with guys hair. Like really good, and Im particular about who cuts my hair. Im young enough that I still need a cool looking style cut. They ALSO have a ton of top brand colognes, and hair product. Sample some cologne after the cut to not only look good, but smell good on your way out and off to work. I am definitely going back!!! Thanks Rini

Ive reviewed Ulta before. Ive been a loyal customer for over a decade. Here are just some of the many reasons why:•as their slogan boasts, All things beauty, all in one place. Its true! You can get your high end beauty supplies and your drug-store items under one roof, and usually for less than youd pay at Sephora or CVS.•knowledgable floor staff (note, I distinguished from the employees behind the sales counter). Ulta tasks their employees with very specific duties and knowledge requirements (ex. the employees at checkout know all about the rewards program - see my next bullet). The staff on the sales floor are there to help - and if the person you ask doesnt have the answer, he/she will find another staff member on the floor who does. And, they will not stop until you have what you want: I came in with an almost empty tube of lipstick custom-designed from a salon that was now out of business; the Ulta employee must have opened 10+ lipsticks till she found me a match.•Rewards program: its not a credit card, so no hit to your credit to join. You rack up points just by shopping and those points turn into $$ to spend on future Ulta purchases. Shopping = savings 😁•Honest, candid beauty advice. This is the biggest reason I am loyal to Ulta. If you ask an employee for beauty advice, he/she is not going to exploit you because youre looking for help and sell you a ton of overpriced merchandise. In fact, on more than one occasion, Ive had an employee deter from buying some high end product and instead tell me how to solve my beauty problem with a remedy that costs $10 or less.

Today i went and got my eyebrows done by Sarah and girl let me tell you they are absolutely amazing!! I’ve never been more happier with the way my brows looked. Im obsessed 😍😍... I went to Marisa to get my hair done and i was left in awe🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Thus store really needs work. It’s filthy and the employees are not always found when you need help. I was overwhelmed and left empty handed. Will not return here again. I prefer Sephora or somewhere more reputable.

This is a clean, well stocked location with friendly and helpful employees. There are many other stores and restaurants nearby and plenty of parking.

My Salon experience was a C- at best. Blow dry looked average and my hair was oily the next morning. It took an hour as well. The customer service is terrible and they showed no remorse when I called the next day.

Had hair cut today with hair designer Marisa... Totally Useless and not worth for $45. I tried to explain her what i need and type of hair cut required. I am having very long hair and Atleast take 20+ mins if you do cut properly. She did her job in less than 5 mins ... didn’t comb my hair once before and after cut... totally useless salon service at Ulta Beauty-king of Prussia.. really disappointed 😔

First time visiting ULTA in king of Prussia with much disappointment that management and upper management should address. I booked an appointment at 11:40 with SARA at the eyebrow bar to do lashes. I purchased the eyelashes and waited 20 mins for my appointment while walking around and when approached SARA at 11:41she had another person in chair and she told me first come first served with smurk look on her face So what happened to my appointment and customer service.

Ruined my fiancés hair and cared zero about the 2 years it will take to grow out. Visit at your own peril.
