I come here every weekend, it is the one of the very best places you can go for a hike. I run here about 20 miles each Sunday, you can get there pretty early if you go through some of the off trail access points. It is a phenomenal place, community, and well maintained by the state.

When you pull in the place looks a little rough on the outside. $10 overnight parking. But as soon as you step inside game changer. The place is very clean. The staff is super friendly. They have a place to eat. The shimp tacos and fried pickles are amazing. Can tell the cook takes pride in his job. They were made fresh and had amazing flavor. The store had tables to sit out. Clean bathrooms and showers. They have a couple gaming machines and a very well stocked store. So glad I found this place and will definitely be coming back. Need to have more truck stops like this across the board better than any pilot or flying j for sure.

$10 to park, buy doubt they enforce that, although there is a tow service next door.Prices in store are reasonable and cheaper than the big corporate truck stops.The diesel pumps look like they are not used.The place is a bit run down, but everyone there was friendly.

By far a horrific business owner who had the audacity to charge me over $7 to put air in my tires. AYAZ, I think you might want to work on your customer service skills. I will be contacting the BBB in the morning for your manipulate actions.

See for your self it 10 perday I had to pay 20 dollars for two days even though I got there at like 1:00.am in the morning on 08/29/2018 leaving at 08/30/2018 at around 7.am. It was not really two days they should charge people feom 24hrs feom the start of when they check in to when they leave the that truck stop in Zellwood, Fl. but at least I fund a place to park I will do my best to avoid this place next time if I can that rest area before this truck stop was full so I came here the front desk was nice.

Mom and pop truck stop yeah at cost 10.00 to park but good luck finding parking at the few chain stops in the area. Nice little grill inside food was real good. Definitely will stop back in

Mom and Pop truck stop, friendly staff. They just opened a Grill with subs, pizza, and breakfast foods, had a BLT sub- yummy!!! Very quiet here, have showers for the drivers, large selection of drinks and snacks! Grateful to find parking in this area, worth the $10 charge!😊

I have to agree with a lot of the other comments here: its a place to park when you are low on hours and it is late at night so all the other places are full. $10 to park with not much inside. Probably will get decent business when the Casino nearby opens up.

10 bucks to park for the night. Tape receipt to windshield. Convenience food and soft drinks available. Its exit 5 and take a right if youre northbound. If time isnt on your side for parking it really is a good option. Kings Mountain came through in the clutch.

If you ask why it is $10 to park in a dark lot full of huge holes, you get told if you dont like it go somewhere else. They think because pilot and ta have paid parking they can too. Good luck killing your own business. You got my $10 since I am out of hours but you will not see another penny.

Stopped here because I was out of log time and the Love’s, Pilot in South Carolina was packed along with the Rest Area in North Carolina.Yes, you will have to pay $10.00 for parking. Yes, there are pot holes at the entrance to the parking area. Yes, the store is extremely generic with no pricing on or in front of the merchandise (accept the coolers-drinks). Yes, it is run down looking inside and out with the feel of almost abandonment. Yes, the potential for criminal activity in the parking area is high due to no lights. However, I received no knocks on my door from the you know what’s. Yes, the evening guy-clerk was attentive within answering my questions.However, he was hawking the costumers more for what I perceived wasn’t for customer service, but fear of theft. Wasn’t a discriminatory way, (Did it to all customers) It just felt like he really didn’t want you there taking your time to shop. (Not that there is much to look at.)All in all, I will do my very best to not return to this place again. Even if it means going all the way back to Cowpens, SC to the truck stop there even if the bridge across the interstate is out and under construction. Rather waste 40 minutes of my log time going there and back towards here then ever come back to this place again. That is how much I didn’t like this place.

No signs just a little piece of paper on the door saying pay to.park or theyll will wake you up

Absolute hole. Dirty, slow service and always 4 or 5 people just hanging around by the counter. No one ever has on a mask and the price is never the same twice.

There is another option for parking if you are willing to drive 5 miles. There is a BP station at 2120 Shelby Road. They are open 24 hours. It has a good size parking lot for trucks because hey sell truck diesel. Just let them know you would like to park there, park to the side so that you wont impede the fuel traffic. It has a rest room, coffee and store items BUT you arent shelling out $10. How do I know about this place? I worked there for 3+ years mostly on nights.

Not a good place at all waited till 900 pm to come out and tell me I have to pay to park there and was rude about it. They think drivers will just pay and go along with that bull . I didn’t and the last time I’ll ever stop there!!!!

I think this place is lovely.. I work here been here for little over 3 years, yes there is some ups and downs about this place.... BUT nothing is perfect, and I see a lot of people kinda dislike some of the things that we have and do here, and we all apologize. We try to maintain a good nice environment and we are upgrading asap. It costs a lot of money.. slot more then you would think. Please give this place another try and we all apologize for any inconvenience that you guys are experiencing... we Love our regular customers and hope we can have more and better reviews later on. Just pulled into this place since I have to deliver in Charlotte in the morning and I know parking is scarce around here so i stopped here while there were open spots. $10 parking no big deal. But this place has absolutely nothing. Not even a packaged cold sandwich. The cashier is very unsociable. I dont believe i will stop here ever again

Gas seems really expensive here and this looks like very run down truck stop. There are no lights on in the parking areas, which is just waiting for some criminal activity to take place. I decided against filling up here because if they can’t put on their lights, how good is there gas going to be?

I pulled into this place and nobody was here. There are signs everywhere about $10 parking and I was at the end of my clock so I parked went to the door and it says still no hot water I’ll be back on Wednesday. As a female I hightailed it out of there and found a better place to park but this is a ghost town and I don’t think it’s in business anymore

Very dark. Store looks like there used to be a Subway. No restaurant. Only snack foods are available here. Parking is $10. In the end, a legal parking spot is a legal parking spot.

EVERYONE BE AWARE! The owner stole $50.00 off my debit card. After trying to get gas he kept saying the pump wasnt working for me to come back in 2 times to swipe my card again after he says he Refunded me on 1/30/20 I waited 4 days to see if it would go back in my account and never did. 1/2/20 Went back to the store to try and handle it with him and he told me he would refund it to come back tomorrow ( today ) 1/3/20. If it wasnt on our account he would give cash..... when we went back to show our bank account that it still was not in there. He got very rude and tried putting MY recites in his pocket and he wasnt going to refund. So I stached my recites back and said I will call the cops to make a report. And walked out! I called the cops and while outside waiting this man leaves. Cops took a report and I will be taking it to our bank! Please dont go here or atleast use a card!!!!

Well first they charge a $10.00 parking fee. There are misfits stating the fact and if you pull in and park and go home they will have your unit towed and that is not posted either the store is not a proper truck stop they have to hand do any fuel or fuel products of you use component card the store only have a old substation in store but it was not open when I was there and very little to choice from and I was told there is water in the gas and fuel so dont buy either there. If your going East on the 85 there is a scale just be for the 74 junction and a small truck stop at exit 14 but they are not thirds and the is a waffle house bangles and a subway near by good luck and happy trucking drivers

From a local, this place has turned to garbage. Some of the ladys are awesome but the older guy at nights is something else. I wouldnt recommend anyone stopping at night and not much in the day.

Pretty decent selection of fast food items and cooler products. Very friendly staff, clean inside. Parking lot could use a few holes filled but a great Oasis where there is little parking.

In the process of remodeling but i dont see where the gripes come from the staff were all polite and respectful no foul smell in store or restroom. Some trash in the truck parking area but as some lazy truckers cant walk to the dumpster its expected. It is a dark lot and medium in size being as the lights are off in the lot it doesnt fill as quick.

Place Is great. Park n drop trailer 10$ a day. Huge parking just have to drive 74cback to city. Plus. Factor. Another note they help save my life one night. Needed a hospital. Driving otr they kept my trailer 5 days free . thanks again. Your cashier saved my life in part of a whole. Gratitude.

I came in to cash my NC Pick 4 winning ticket for $40 and the lady scanned it twice and paid herself. She told me the ticket was already paid out and I dont see how as I had the ticket in my hand. Called the NC Lotto official who stated the ticket was scanned twice and it was already paid. Therefore I have to mail this ticket into Raleigh and it will be 2 to 4 weeks before I get paid. I recommend no one to go to that store to scan their winning ticket as they will end up like me, empty-handed and pissed off!

This place sells bad gas. Three of us refueled our bikes here. Two of us a half tank top off and one got a whole tank. The one who got a whole tank broke down on the side of 85, its his fuel filter. The two of us who got half tanks started having clear power loss and backfires. Will be draining the tank first thing in the morning. Whos name do we need to put on the bill when we send it to you?

Horrible place. The bathroom stinks so bad. Barely was able to do my business. Soap so runny it doesnt stay in your hand to wash. Restaurant was sposed to be open till 10pm. Nobody there to cook. Just a dump of a place. Surprised Citco hasnt pulled their signs. Ive been to some trashy places. But this place takes the cake.

Needed a parking to sleep, got the closest one. This place is shady af. As mentioned in other comments pitch black parking lot, bunch of ppl near shop entraince loitering and being very loud (at 2am). Very dirty and smelly.Turns out theres Loves and Pilot just 8-9 min south. Thank goodness :)

They now charge 10.00 per night for trucks to park. The parking lot is pitch black and full of huge pot holes. They do not offer much inside the store anymore. A lot of lot lizards roaming the parking area at night.
