Great visit! Staff is always friendly. Found just the right glasses for me and got a safety pair as well. The best place I have ever been to I will always come back here.
The evening before the appointment I received notification that if I hadn’t confirmed the appointment for my daughter it would be canceled. This was the first and final attempt to confirm this appointment. I did receive a text stating that they were looking forward to seeing me but nothing about confirming with the text reminder. I brought my daughter in as soon as they opened to try and determine if she had an appointment being we live 45 minutes away. This was a complete lack of communication on the office staff. Not everyone sits at a desk and is able to return called during the same business day. I work in an ER as a nurse so I am working before the office opens and don’t get off until after the office closes.
Reps/staff are nice. But they have no communication whatsoever! I reqstd to Order a replacement pair of my glasses, as my originals broke, I called prior to coming to your office which was a blank trip, everything I did in office I could’ve done over the phone. Received a text and email stating glasses were ready I go to pick up and told I needed to give them my broken original pair! Not once out of the 2x I spoken with your office or in the email/text order confirmation I was told needed to return my original pair. That’s 2 blank trips!
Recently came here and was helped by a lovely young lady. The service here was astonishing and I will make sure I come back. I recommend Mackayla if you need any help she’s amazing !
Fantastic customer service! Staff was very helpful and worked with me and my schedule to get me an appointment! Highly satisfied!
Ok.Not asking questions prior to appointment, big mistake. Husband and I have had many eye exams over the years all reasonable costs. Was a quick exam then to the lenses and frames. Four years ago insurance covered total cost except few $. He has a generous coverage. Cost was double his insurance close to $900. We left with only the prescription which took almost 1/2 the insurance. We are off to Sams.
I decided to get contacts instead of glasses this year. I have great insurance and was very surprised at the cost after insurance. I thought the doctor did a very quick exam I have never been in and out of the exam room that quick. I expected more, especially since I was changing from glasses contacts for the first time. I asked the doctor if the eye chart should to be blurry, she told me as long as I can see the letters and make them out it doesnt matter the prescription will be the same. The first trial pair of contracts I was given, I was asked to wear for 10 days, my vision never cleared up. It was still blurry. The second pair was 2 up from my scrip due to them not having the next level. I started in low, then they gave me high ( which made everything blurry, I could not wear them) and it took forever for them to get the mediums for me to try. The mediums were a little better than the Lord but reading was still blurry. I called and they made an appointment for me to be checked again. The day before that appointment (today) I received a call saying they have exhausted all efforts and they cant get me in to contacts!! They only have 3 prescriptions of contacts and we tried all 3. I can return the contacts they ordered and I will be refunded part of what I paid. What the hell am I supposed to do now. I used my insurance to help with the exam. From here I will have to pay out of pocket to go someplace else? I am very unhappy right now. Especially after reading the reviews, others have had similar experiences with the doctors. I feel there is a contact that will work for me, but there is no effort from them to help me find it. The doctor not wanting to see me a second time is very concerning. I would say if you want someone who cares about their patients and is willing to SHOW IT, this is not the place to go. I will be calling my insurance company to speak with them as well.
I had an appointment scheduled for this location and driving 45 minutes to get to it because of there being no doctor in Brunswick I was turned away because they claim to have told me to be there 15 minutes early but I was never told that. Very disappointed in the way this office handles things. And if my childs insurance was taken at another establishment I would go somewhere else.
Just moved into town. Called the only eye doctor around. Super happy with the front desk ladies and the doctor. All around good eye doctor.
Great and friendly service. Always takes there time with me.
I just drove 35 minutes to a town I don’t live in for my appointment with this this establishment at the Kingsland GA location. I accidentally passed the street it’s located on because there’s no street sign marking the street at all. I called (before I was late) and told the lady on the phone what happened and that I was turning around and on my way there and that I’d be there in a few minutes. She said that’s fine I’ll let the doctor know. Well I got there exactly 3 minutes later, which put me at 12 minutes late for my appointment and the lady at the desk told me “the doctor just marked it and said that they have a “very strict 10 minute policy for being late” so the doctor wouldn’t see me today. Then had the balls to ask me to reschedule... I said ok great have a great day. No I did not reschedule with them. No I will NOT EVER reschedule with them or spend another penny of my money with this entire company at any location. If you’re doctor’s feel they’re that much too good for the clients then they don’t need me as one. I will take my eye care business ELSEWHERE. Anywhere else. I give this establishment one star only because I couldn’t leave ZERO stars for them. Just unreal.
Office staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Will be coming back every year for an exam.
Absolute worst customer service of any eye doctor Ive ever been to. receptionists are always very curt and rude not helpful at all
Staff is Kind and patient. They answer all you questions. Very pleasant experience. I love my glasses they fit comfortably and look great.
Been taking the family here for a couple years. This is probably the last for us. The eye Dr is a nice lady and does a great job. But, if paying big $ then there must be a better option. The front reception ladies are the worst, rude, blunt, and do not set the stage for a good visit. Looking for a new alternative. Three strikes you out.
Unrelated but I like the German woman who works here :)
Horrible customer service from start to finish. I spent so much money there and this woman named Amanda was so irritated she had to do her job. My Coach glasses had to be adjusted and she just wanted me gone and I was hurried thru the entire process. Zero customer service, didn’t open her mouth to say anything like care of glasses, fitting, warranty ect. I will NEVER go back there again. They will jump your behind if your mask isn’t exactly in place..not easy to do with mask loops and glass fitting. Absolutely terrible.
Had appt was running behind a few minutes took extra time with checking in was told they would be with me soon then was told couldnt be seen would have to reschedule. It dosent seem to matter that they almost always have you wait. VERY POOR CUSTOMER CARE
This is the best place to get your glasses in Camden county. I had a wonderful experience. The staff is very professional and friendly. They explained what they were doing each step of the way.I was given good advice when selecting my frames. I really like they way they look on me. The price they quoted was the price I paid. No hidden costs or surprises. I highly recommend My Eye Doctor.
My 17 year old daughter went to her appt but before going into the building she was standing outside in this Georgia heat for awhile, so they checked her temperature and it was 100.1 and said that we had to reschedule . Her temp is gonna be slightly higher standing in the heat. Then they tried to tell my husband that he needed to use one of their mask saying that they needed to make sure it was a clean mask. She tried to hand him the mask with her bare hands thats cross contamination. I understand that there covid19 is still here but come on now and she saw my daughter standing outside before her appt. They dont have a good selection of glasses, we have dealt with this office for years only because I hate changing and having my kids around different ppl. I will not spend anymore money with MyEyeDr.
I loved this place, they explained everything I ask about. The Dr. Took the time as well as the nurses. The price of glasses with my insurance at the time was pretty good.
Does not do much to work with a person’s schedule. Without exam can’t get glasses. Customer hostage to greed and lack of customer service. Can’t keep it in Camden if place run like you can’t go anywhere else. I can and will. Thanks for wasting my time. When Amazon does eye care over the Net you dummies will be gone for good.
I finally needed some glasses so bought my first pair from this myeyedr location and was so satisfied I bought a second pair for distance when I picked them up. A swanky high end place with very friendly staff tons of options, the prices were better than expected.
I dont typically ever post reviews, but this time I really feel the need. The only good thing about this place was the 2 girls at the counter, they were wonderful and very helpful. The doctor and optician on the other hand were very salty, neither one even cracked a smile. I had my 2 kids with me ages 4 and 1 and just like any child they were VERY impatient. It was obvious neither the doctor nor the optician was impressed that I had to bring my children with me. That being said, I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. I used to be an optician myself and never once did I treat my PTs like that, no matter what kind of day I was having. It seems Im not the only one who had a first terrible experience here.
On time every time. They helped my husband find the perfect glasses and lenses. He is very happy. Excellent customer service. We highly recommend.
Call the office today to make a appointment. lady on the phone said 3:45 pm appointment was open come in and fill out paperwork, then ask for all of the information on the phone. said it will be there when i came in the office.i arrived at 3:40 pm and sign the few papers required, told to take a seat. no one in the waiting room, except me and my wife. about twenty minutes later a customer came in and is taken right away. i said noting. about twenty minutes two more people show up and are taken in again. after over a hour waiting to be seen i had to leave for another meeting. to this day not a word from firm.look like they want to brag about how many people have appointments, but all are not seen.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
If I could put zero stars I would. I have twin baby girls who I had with me along with my other 2 children. One baby was being carried and one baby in a single stroller. I was told when my oldest daughter (7) was in the exam room that I would need to wait in the waiting room while she had her exam. First of all, there was plenty of room for all of us to be in the room with the doctor. I was standing behind the stroller, my son sitting in the seat with plenty of room for the doctor to move the chair around the machine and the walk along the counter. I refused and stood in the door way during the exam with the stroller. The doctor hurried and did the exam, nothing like doctors have before, and told me she no longer needed glasses with an attitude.
I always tell people I aint waiting, however My Eye Doctor done changed the game on me. They are fast and easy to talk to. I seen them explain to kids whats going on with their eyes and not just the parent. #AllTheEmojiis
The office is very disorganized. I had two forms of insurance which at the time of my appointment I offered both and told them my one insurance did nothing for eyes. I was then told they would only need the one form of insurance. The visit was scheduled as a routine eye visit but because of their findings they charged me for a medical eye exam which I was told nothing about until I received a bill in the mail. Needless to say I will be getting my records and going elsewhere. I now know why they only had a 3 star rating.... I learned my lesson quality over convenience next time!
I went to MyEyeDr. For the first time due to my regular optometrist ( over 5 years) being booked and I was leaving for a trip that week and needed to order new lenses and use a trial pair until they came . The new Eye Doctor changed my prescription and told me to try out the new rx for awhile and she would see my again to confirm my new rx. I wore my trial lenses for 2 weeks and immediately upon wearing them I noticed the vision in my left eye was worsening and I couldn’t really see far off and that was unusual with new lenses . The lenses also made me feel like I was standing up on something and looking down when I first put them in . I’ve always had 2 Different Rxs for my prescription up until 2017 when I was pregnant and my eyesight had gotten a little better and I had the same rx in both eyes, but nonetheless after I had my daughter it went back to my regular numbers but still the same rx. Previous to my appointment my eyes were already dry from overuse of the contacts since I was on the road and very busy the weeks before and I let the Doctor know that at the visit, She ended up prescribing me contacts for people with astigmatisms, which was the correcting lenses and then informed me that I couldn’t get color Contact lenses anymore because they don’t make them for those lenses, which at first I was disappointed but the more I thought about it that would be fine if it will help me see much better ! If I have to sacrifice my color lenses for clarity then ok so be it but if I’m giving up my color lenses then I at least need my prescription to be correct !I advised the assistant at my follow up appointment, when I first arrived, thatmy eyesight on the left side was not as sharp as it could and should’ve been and she noted it on the computer before going into the next room with the eye doctor, I also alerted the Doctor about my concerns at the beginning of the visit and she just said that eyes sometimes see different and it’s normal, but I strongly disagree when I’ve been having my eyesight corrected and fitted properly since I’ve been wearing glasses and contacts. Again after coming to the front I let the eyeglasssalesman know about my concerns and he alerted the Doctor and she stuck to what she said before and stated she believed this was the best option for me . First off how can you tell me what my eyes are seeing if I’m complaining and telling you that what you’re recommending is not right ? I am not a child and don’t have to be told what is right from wrong ! Oh did I also mention that I had to squint really hard to read the board of letters and never saw any of the lines clearly at all like I’ve done before at my regular Eye Doctors visits, I mean they were all blurry and I struggled to call out the words and they called that 20/20 vision ? How ? Just how ? My previous exams I could see the lines crisp and clear without squinting !I know my eyes and this New prescription is not at all correct ! You can have the color lenses just give me the right prescription ! Now I will have to pay out of pocket even more ($130 last time ) and I’m not sure of how much it would cost to go back to my regular provider since I already used the exam benefits for this year, to get a proper exam and get my right prescription. I am highly dissatisfied and don’t recommend this place to anyone ! A doctor that doesn’t listen to concerns of their patients have no place in medicine ! I put my old contacts back in and can see perfectly . I’m making an appointment to my regular eye doctor now ! I heard of plenty horror stories after I started speaking out about mine ! I do not recommend this place to anyone !!!! Run !!!!Update ! I made an appt with my regular Eye Doctor paid for another exam out of pocket and got my correct rx ! my eyes are back to normal and I can see !!!!
After having such bad experiences at WalMart eye center and Wright EyeEye care, this place was a breath of fresh air. I am a customer for life now. They treat you right. My prescription is spot on and my glasses look great. The price was exactly what they told me it was going to be.I forget the name of the manager, but he was the the best. He helped me out when I had questions. He should get an award. Or maybe have an award named after him. He has trained his staff to be professional and curtious while dealing with some very unreasonable customers. I saw this while I was waiting for my appointment.
Everything went great until it was time to pick out the glasses then I had to deal with a gentleman named Mark one of the rudest people Ive ever met makes me not want to ever go back there again
I just want to say how incredible this place is! Our family has been recieving our eye wear here for years and the staff has always gone above and beyond to take care of us! If you have a question about something, dont hesitate to ask.
MyEyeDr helped me while I was out of town and lost a contact. They were extremely helpful and plesent to work with
I wouldnt even give them one star. Had an exam and was quoted a price. Went back to place my order and was told it was $60.00 ABOVE the quote, 3 days prior. MANAGER admitted the mistake but would not honor the quote. NEVER going there again. Prices are insane.
I dont know why this place has bad reviews, i just had to get glasses for the first time this week and the staff was so nice!! Very professional and made sure i knew what was going on the entire way through (I.e extra fees my insurance wouldnt cover so there were no surprise fees, and what they were doing during the exam. This was my firat exam since highschool so i was pretty new id say😂). They made sure i was happy with everything before i left my exam and informed me my glasses would be there in about a week. The only bad thing i have to say is i did not receive my text notification saying my glasses arrived and were ready to be picked up. They informed me that with the new year they had an update or somthing and the text bot can be slow or glitchy. But i love my new glasses and will definatly be recomending them! Would give 10 stars if i could
I absolutely love this place! Everyone was extremely nice and even helped me with my insurance problems.
To say I am disappointed with my experience at MyEyeDr in Kingsland would be an understatement. I have waited a week to write this review because I wanted to write the review with a clear head and give myself time to think about my experience. I went to MyEyeDr because they got me in quickly. I had broken my glasses and needed an appointment ASAP. The front desk staff and nurse were very kind and personable. The doctor was okay. It wasn’t a bad experience with the doctor, but he was not very personable. I was looking for some reassurance and further explanation about a condition with my eyes, and he didn’t offer much information. But that wasn’t a huge deal to me. I just needed an eye exam, which he provided. After my exam, I picked out my glasses, and purchased them with a guaranteed arrival within 10 days. At day 7 and 9, I called just to confirm that my glasses would be there on the 10th day. I was assured of this arrival date at the latest. I was without glasses, so I really needed them. On the afternoon of day 10, I received a phone call that my glasses would not be ready for another week! They said there was a delay with the frames. How did they not know about this delay the previous two times I called?? I explained my predicament of being without glasses. They said that they could try to have my glasses ready within 3 days. Well they called me a few days later to say that my glasses were ready. When I get there, the glasses they ordered WERE THE WRONG GLASSES! They were this hideous purple color and definitely not the ones I ordered. I showed her a picture I had taken wearing the ones I ordered. Well she goes to the cabinet under the glasses display and pulls out the exact frames I ordered. She takes them back and has the lenses put in those frames. I was concerned that these frames had been tried on by hundreds of people, however she said that they hadn’t?? Apparently they were new frames they keep on hand?? Honestly I don’t believe that at all. The frames are so crooked on my face and the tension on each “arm” of the frame is uneven, like they’ve been handled before. I’m probably going to have to go purchase another pair of glasses somewhere else because these are so crooked on my face. So not only did I have to wait 2 weeks to receive my glasses, but apparently a “new” set of the exact frames I ordered were sitting in their cabinets since the day I had my appointment. I asked for a discount or something to compensate for this horrible experience, and I was given nothing. I did not even receive an apology!! I try to be understanding, but this was ridiculous. Stay away from MyEyeDr in Kingsland if you are looking for good customer service!
MyEyeDr made it very easy to get my eyes examined and I love my new glasses! Everyone was so kind and I learned a lot about how to take care of my eyes better so I dont get so many headaches and eye weariness.
SUCK! I went to them because I couldnt look at the computer/tv/phone without getting a headache and everything getting blurry and they told me to blink more!?!!?! Then I went to Wright Eye Care (5/5) and now I have glasses.
Terrible sales department and poor customer service.
