This place is amazing. Bought a sofa at 10:30 yesterday and it was in our living room at 1 pm and they took the old sofa with them. John was incredibly helpful and he had the good sense to avoid hovering (I hate that!). Id recommend this user-friendly place to anyone who needs a new piece of furniture.

In the last year we have appointed two living spaces with furniture from Wiedy’s. The current set is like we have a whole new soft and comfy playground. The service and experience with Weidy’s has been absolutely second to none. If you aren’t checking there first, you are making a big mistake.

Wiedys Furniture Center on Route 28 in Kingston was not the first place I looked for furniture, but it was the last. They have a great selection for any taste and are very budget aware. Their patience with my shopping process has been fabulous. AND they take away the old furniture so I dont have to be bothered with that. Thank you!!

When I need furniture this is one of the first places I go. Over the years I have purchased a living room set, a dresser and a barrel chair. I have always had good luck finding something at a reasonable price and I have always found the salespeople helpful and courteous.

This is a humongous furniture store tucked away on route 28 in Ulster county. the prices are on the high side but then again all the furniture is high quality.

I recently bought a mattress and a chair at Wiedys. I chose to go there because I use the car wash next door, and I thought Id give Wiedys a try. Their prices are higher than you can get at a chain or online, and there are many other local dealers who also charge less, so there is plenty of choice. Going to Wiedys was a mistake because they lied to me to make the sale.In buying the mattress I told them that my wife had used the guest room bed to drink coffee and eat, so there were many stains on the mattress. Hence, I asked for a mattress cover for the new mattress. In addition, I told the sales person that it was important that they be able to take the old mattress away because it is difficult to find help.When the delivery guy arrived with the new mattress and chair, he refused to take away the old mattress, even though that had been a condition of my purchase. He told me that Wiedys gives the driver discretion, and since the old mattress had coffee, ash tray, and food stains, he would not remove the mattress. No one at Wiedys had mentioned the fine print when they were eager to make the sale, and I would not have bought there had I been told that the driver had discretion to refuse to take away the old mattress. I specifically had told the salesperson that the old mattress was dirty and that I needed a mattress cover, but he did not mention the discretion principle.I called the owner to complain, and his response was arrogant, smug, indifferent, and incompetent. He assured me that he gives the drivers discretion, or didnt I know. I assured him that I would not be buying my next mattress from Wiedys.Two weeks later I am still looking for someone to cart the old mattress. The driver left the old one on a screened-in porch, and it has been an eye sore. I have tried several haulers, but they are too busy. 1-800-Mattres.

For great looking chairs for BNB, Very reasonably priced.

Waited 9 weeks for my furniture, and that was all good. Had it delivered by Weidys delivery guys, and had them do the assembly and installation and it was all good. Then I was handed an invoice with the agreed upon price crossed out in ink and adjusted by +$30. They did the wrong math and did not call me to tell me they were adjusting the price. They just expected me to pay more without even informing me of it and then the delivery guy threatened to take the furniture back if I didnt pay the new amount. After disagreeing with him he called his Manager Bruce. Bruce was rude to me on the phone and also threatened to have the delivery guys take the furniture back over his $30 math screw up. This is a BAD way to do business. They should have just eaten the $30. I was going to give each of the delivery guys a $20 tip, but after this they actually saved me $10 because I paid the $30 but didnt give them a tip. Ill never do business with them again, and I have a whole house left to furnish.

Everyone is always happy to help no matter how many times you stop in 😁 No pushy sales people, there to help when you need it but dont follow you around and make you feel uncomfortable.

Terrible business. Ok purchased a living room set with delivery. Took off 3 days in a row waiting for these jerks to come deliver it and they never came. They finally came the week after then damaged a wall carrying in furniture.The furniture is also way more flimsy than the floor models I tested. Truly terrible business, I will never return and suggest others do the same.

No matter what the reciept says they will not do exchanges or returns. Customer service was alright. Salesmen were very kind and knowledgeable but spread too thin to adequately help. Selection not impressive as they had a fair amount of low quality, overpriced pieces. I purchased a floor model chair because I have a bad back and figured I could return it if needed since the receipt didnt say no returns. I shopped local for returnability and customer service. It was not custom, clearance or marked as is (reasons listed for non returnable items). After 20 days we contacted them about doing an exchange or refund or store credit and was told we had it for too long. I am disabled, weigh 95lbs and only sat in the chair for a few hours max. The chair is in the same shape as the day it was delivered with tags still attached. Now I am stuck with a thousand dollar chair I cant sit on. This was a big purchase as I am on a small fixed ssdi income. I had planned on coming back for a full living room set but I will not now. I like to support small local businesses but I doubt I will shop there again. Considering contacting the better business bureau. Return policies should be made clear and my type of purchase is not included on the invoice as non returnable.

They took my money for a chair I paid for it on time but when it came to upholding the warranty they charged me 75.00 dollars to repair my chair. I even brought in a copy of the warranty! Ill never do business with them again.
