Love this place. Compact commissary which is fine, still has everything you need. Workers were always asking if we needed help finding things. They do sell MREs (meals ready to eat) about $11. Fun for kids to show them what their soldier eats in the field. Ive had a couple. The workers and manager were very engaging. I am so glad we qualify to come here

Great burger meat purchased 60 lbs for our wedding and it was all ready for pickup promptly. Service was excellent and the meat was great!

Military Service members grocery store. Definitely need more of these in every State with many locations to accommodate.

The employees are friendly and helpful. This commissary is small but mighty. They have grab and go and all of the grocery items you need. Clean, well laid out with plenty of room for looking and picking.

I love Commissaries, usually. This one despite its very decent selection has a staff that seems irritated by your being there. Not all staff members, mostly the checkout line. You’d better bring tips for the baggers (who I understand work for tips only) or expect a scoffing and a stare down you won’t soon forget. It’s not often I leave reviews but a Commissary is a place of comfort for ALL with access.

Im typically a very positive reviewer. While they have a decent selection for the size commissary they have to work with, it is not nearly adequate for the size of the population of active and retired personnel on the shipyard.One of the cashiers has been there for at least 8 years, maybe more. She has a very cold and unfriendly attitude that really throws off my day when I interact with her. She might be better suited for stocking shelves than customer service.

Not a good experience. Im a veteran of 8 years. Couldnt shop there because I dont have a veterans disability card. So my 8 years of service means nothing!!!

For how small this commissary is it really packs a lot of the essentials in there. Even though there are glorious restaurants, they dont have fresh fruits and vegetables like this place does.

Small, shabby, clean, adequate selection. Considerate staffThis commissary isnt the smallest over been in, but its close.Selection is adequate; not fort Bragg sized but ok for its size.Meat selection is very good, esp beef.Produce is the only failure; it didnt last more than a week.Staff is very attentive and knowledgeable.The building is older and seeks a little run down.

If your retired military this is a great place to get food and drink at an affordable prices.

A bit small for a commissary, so the selection is mildly limited, but has great deals as youd expect, especially on meat.

Apparently over the last couple weeks they have begun enforcing a policy that baggers will only bag your groceries if you give them a tip.... I get tipping them for taking them to your car, but just bagging them and putting them in a cart? THATS WHAT YOUR JOB IS! I was outraged when my wife told me that this has happened the last 2 times she went there with both of our kids while I was away for work. You just lost all my service and Ill make sure everyone at the command goes elsewhere as well.

Offers the basics to military families. In my experience, they have very nice staff!

Small, but it has most of the things I need. Our closest grocery store in a town with no supermarket. Military ID required
