Conveniently located on State Street in Kittery Maine is this jem tucked away in a deceptively small yellow shop. While their takeout menu may seem limited to some, remember they pride themselves on quality and they certainly deliver on it. While their meals, sandwiches and pizza are delicious, they also have a wonderful selection of cooking oils not normally found in chain markets. Then you have to try their frozen pasta and prepared meals which are wonderful for a quick, delicious meal with that special touch. Highly recommended.

I never write reviews but I just had to on this place, I got food off of the catering menu and all I can say is WOW it was absolutely delicious. The food was piping hot and packaged really well and you definitely cant beat the price. They even called me the day before to do a follow up as to what I ordered. You must try this place, you wont be disappointed.

House made pasta. Pre made dinners. They have fresh Olive oil on tap. Its a great little place I would recommend everyone step in and enjoy.

Terra Cotta is our go to spot for pasta especially the ravioli. We also get our refillable olive oil here and some of their fresh salads. And occasionally we will splurge and get the Tiramisu! Everything is always amazing and the staff are super friendly. It is a small spot but there are extra parking spaces outback.

Terra Cotta serves multiple meals and is a pretty small establishment. That being said they stand apart with high quality Flatbread, Stromboli, pasta, sauces, lasanga, and meatballs. Pulled pork Stromboli is my favorite with the Chipotle BBQ aioli.

We bought the thanksgiving dinner here this year and it was seriously one of the best thanksgiving dinners we’d ever had. Everyone loved it. It was so easy, from ordering to pick up to reheating. I may never cook another holiday meal myself again ! Thank you !

Not worth the risk. Nobody preparing the food is wearing masks or gloves, the manager wore his mask for maybe 1/3 of the time I was waiting for my food, and couldn’t wait to take it off once he was away from the counter. I ultimately left my food there. It’s not worth the risk, which is unfortunate because I’m told it’s quite good. Definitely avoid this place until they grow up and show the community that they care about your safety.

I visit this amazing little shop on a weekly basis, sometimes more than once a week. If you want homemade delicious Italian food that you can heat and serve than this is your place! They have homemade sauces, pastas, desserts, roasted vegetables, lasagna and so much more! You can grab an entire meal from wine and appetizers to entrees and desserts. Everyone who works there are always helpful and super friendly. We love this place and appreciate their delicious food and great service!

I love this store. Awesome olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Pastas are terrific. I travel from Massachusetts to shop here.

Try their fantastic eggplant parmesan sub! House favorite and mushroom flatbreads are ready to go heated or not and delicious. You can put together a lovely dinner with their fresh pasta and sauces, (or prepared entrees), salads, wines and pastries. Excellent customer service! Been a customer for several years. I would like to see some new entrees but thats my only suggestion. Great bakery across the street.

Wow, what a find. I have driven by the small building housing Terra Cotta Pasta dozens of times before finally stopping in. Along with several varieties of fresh pasta and frozen raviolis there are vinegars, olive oils and more. Though there is barely room to swing a cat in the floor space of this gourmet grocery store, there is still a wide variety of products to enhance any meal.

My weekly late night soup shop - but honestly this little beauty is so much more. Get there before 6 because Im likely to scoop up all the ingredients leaving you a bit of broth! Trust me, their soups are generously full of all the wonderful ingredients you dream of having in your own person homemade soup. I have even poured their soup into a bowl and gave it to friends telling them I made it myself.....the ingredients are so fresh and unconcealed its easy for me to tell a tall tale. Sorry friends :-) Wine! Olives, Cheese and Bread!

I went here for the first time the other day. The young man at the counter was super helpful and so nice to talk to! I got an Italian and it was unique and yummy with fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, tomatoes and basil on crunchy French bread! I also saw another customer receive a punch card similar to a coffee card for her ravioli purchases. I cant wait to try this!

Stopped in on a lunch break, one of the guys recommended the Italian sub so i went with it and it was amazing!! Reasonably priced and worth every penny. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Great food at very reasonable prices. Had the Vegetable Italian and it was amazing. Be sure to sample the 13 yr old aged balsamic vinegar! Also the cannoli were delicious! A great place to pick up an entire meal, a snack, or some specialty appetizer items for your most discerning guests! Two minutes from downtown Portsmouth!Dont wait!

Great selection of fresh pastas and prepared meals. I always get their meat lasagna anytime Im in town, its better than most any restaurant Ive been to. Also, their pork rollitini is amazing if they have any when youre there. The staff is also super helpful and friendly.

The lasagna is unbelievably delicious! I savored every bite of it. The service was great, staff very friendly, Ill definitely be back for more.

Im allergic to fish oil and Terra Cotta didnt disclose the presence of fish on the packaging for their crab cake ravioli. Wasnt a fun dinner to say the least.

Terra Cotta is my go-to shop for many occasions, from last-minute meals to more thought-out dinner parties. Everything is of the highest quality, including the service. The staff is incredible; they value their customers and take pride in their work. They greet their customers with a sense of humor and generosity. When I lived nearby, I stopped in once a week. I now live an hour away, but whenever Im within 20 miles, I make sure to drop in and stock up on my favorites: stromboli and mozzarella salad for me, and chicken parm or mushroom flatbread for my husband. And cookies, wine, olives, tiramisu, fresh bread, ravioli... On my last visit I needed a box to fit all of my purchases.
