My favorite farm and ranch store. Employees are friendly and helpful. Many items costs less. Wonderful selection. Worth visiting.

They were pretty large selection and I found just what I wanted. My checker was friendly so was the person who helped load my fencing.Not my checker but another lady I inquired about fencing selection was considerably short with me because I wasnt familiar with the store. Thats why the four stars are not five

We were very pleased with the service at the store. Stan in the fireplace department was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. All of the staff there were kind and helpful and it made us appreciate shopping there.

I just really enjoy this store. I wanted to buy a new firearm. I went in with one product in mind and came out with a completely different product. The guy who helped me at the counter was fantastic. Knew exactly what he was doing. I walked in 45 minutes later I walked out with my product. It was a really good experience!

Love my wranglers boyfriend got me for my birthday. Had to exchange for smaller size. The ladies were all wonderful.

Poor service. Was in the hardware section for 15-20 minutes, an employee was at the end of the isle talking politics for a good ten minutes. I got tired of waiting and left the store without making a]purchase.

My bad that wasnt meant to be 4 stars itd actually 1. Due to horrible customer service. For instance most employees it seems are working there for a pay check absolutely no knowledge on products in their department and the ones that do know something are always busy helping someone because THEY ENJOY THE JOB AND LEARN ABOUT THE PRODUCTS

Excellent and knowledgeable customer service. He knew his stuff. I expected to have to come back to the store to pick up what I bought. I was in there maybe 45 minutes walked out of the store with my purchase. It was a great experience. Thanks guys looks like your employees are really happy. That says a lot.

My new go to for a lot of things I could potentially get cheaper elsewhere. Why you ask? Attitude is everything. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Most of the time if you ask where something is they dont just grunt and point and look annoyed. They will usually walk you to the item to make sure you find it, and are knowledgeable about their products if you have questions or need tips.

Awesome an outdoors mans dream has everything. An aisle of chainsaws with tons of different bar lengths. Even guns, bows, and pellet guns with plenty of targets and lead sleds. beekeeping supplies ranging from nucleuss to extra food and wax. They even have safes. Along with a wall of fuel tanks and automotive accessories including every kind of oil you could want, 3 in 1, brake and choke cleaner, and a/c recharges are here, including ethanol stabilizers and high viscosity and industrial oils. Truly a Walmart of outdoors, home and property supplies. And they have pickled eggs.............

Went in for some fence wire and the young man Angelo was out there working hard, it looked like he was alone, and that the place was short staffed it’s really too bad both Coastal and Diamond have gone down the tank in these two years. Coastal is very short staffed and over working there guys. I’ll probably be looking for a new place to buy fence supplies if it weren’t for Angelo’s service.

Very large store very big selection but the mens bathroom was a public restroom with a 1 urinal and one toilet and there was no lock on the toilet which was weird but everything else was just fine

Coastal Carries Everything! No joke. I went there looking for a new pair of worj pants and left with assorted camping gear and work pants. Quality brands at a really decent price.

Great place, friendly staff and the store is clean and stocked regularly. Only down fall is they stopped selling Tony Lama boots.

Lots of staff chatting but not eager to engage customers. Told to wait for someone to go out in the yard to look at wire fencing. 10 minutes and no show. Went out there without escort and found someone to ask about coated wire and he actually told me that they were out of stock (obviously) and were waiting for a truck but didn’t know when it would arrive. He said “you know how that goes”. Spent my career in big box retail and the lack of service was appalling! A simple look up in the store system would reveal an ETA but they were too lazy and lacking in service skills to try and help me buy from them. Not many options in Klamath for this type product but Amazon has it. Would love to buy local but I will not be back to Coastal!UPDATE: Received a call from customer relations the next day. They were quite concerned and asked for specifics like time and where in the store this encounter had taken place. About two hours later the District Manager called and asked for even more specifics and promised retracing and/or disciplinary action would be taken. Apologies and the like were expressed.Bottom line is that it appears Coastal is committed to acting on customer feedback and improvement of the retail experience in their stores. In light of this experience I am raising my rating to three stars from one.

I bought a generator and they told me that if it did not work, 100% of the money was returned. If I do not like its operation, because it was very noisy, it was 80% returned. He stopped working at the end of his first use (8 hours) and carry the device to the store, they told me that I put the gasoline badly and it will return only 70%. As I think a scam, I accepted to keep it. They told me that they had not been revised yet and could not give it to me, then, how did they not want to return it before, I did not give the gasoline if they had not reviewed the problem?And before this, I bought a Chainsaw Stihl and I have problems too... after this, I love HOME DEPOT.

For many years we lived in Redding California and made many of trips to Kfalls and always liked stopping at Big R. Well to my surprise Big R is now Coastal. Its much the same as it was although it seemed much more difficult to find the department(s) we were looking for. Checkout was fast the sales person was very nice and there are a lot of products you cant find in California and of course no sales tax!

They didnt give me my core charge back on a battery that I bought from them then returned -_- thats a first for me ANYWHEREAnd they have THE highest core charge Ive ever seen to....

Came here for my cats vaccines. The young woman who helped me was super knowledgeable about cat diets and the vaccine I was asking about.

Love this farm store. Prices can be high on some things however they have great sales. I like bringing my dogs with me to the store to pick out a treat. Decent tack selection, generally have what you need. English tack is a bit bare but most stores around here do not carry much English tack.

Awful service, lots of employees standing around not working. Cant get help filling propane, got to ring the bell for 20 minutes on average.

Overall they are a good farm and ranch store with good products. The people for the most part are nice although Ive had some bad customer service interactions before. Im a disabled senior and when I spend thousands on generators, fencing and such, I dont care for SAS from a younger tired employee. There are some mature wonderful people there like I said. I still give them a five star rating cause the good outweighs the bad in the balances there. Just went back for another generator there today!

As long as your not asking for help witha chainsaw you cant beat the customer service. Bit over priced but theres alotta merchandise under the one roof.

Ive shopped here on several occasions, and Ive had a very good experience every single time. They have a wide variety of hardware and camping type stuff and a pretty good RV section too. The staff are very helpful, and they know what theyre talking about or will find someone who does. I avoid Home Depot and Walmart and places like that, and this is a better alternative for me. Its also really clean and organized, very easy to find things. My go-to for hardware and outdoor stuff is Coastal and Diamond Hardware. Those two places have most everything covered.

I needed a day pass to park in local State parks for birding. As small as my need was, they happily and quickly met my needs.

You know I dont go to coastal farm and ranch very often but when I have most recently the customer care after purchase is exceptional, loading oversized fencing the care that was taken to make sure I had red flags that my load was secured tightly and if I needed anything else was quite unexpected in the retail business today not to mention that they had everything I needed the personnel in the store that I asked questions to were very informal on where product was and again a great atmosphere to shop in
