Bought a road king special from Tony. Very pleased with the bike. However i Had a small hiccup with the bike acting up I believe it’s the oil pump from the symptoms and what I read. I called down there and spoke with them and as always they said they would take care of me. Never had a problem at this location. They’re good people and will go out of there way to take care of you. Tony was great during the sale. Very knowledgeable Crew. Our next bike will definitely be bought from this location.

I took the riding course at this Harley Davidson and it was absolutely wonderful! I was excited but super nervous to take the course but from the time I walked in the front doors everyone made me feel comfortable and right at home. The instructors/coach’s were so great! Very knowledgeable, patient and with great sense of humors. I did not feel rushed at all and even taking the course and test in the rain I knew I was in great hands!!! I had such an amazing time learning to ride. If anyone is looking to learn to ride or brush up on your riding skills this is definitely the place to go!! Can’t wait to go back and get my fist Harley here!!!

We had a great experience here considering our situation. Had a break down on I-40 in Knoxville, brought our bike (2016 ultra) to the Bootlegger location on 7/3/2021. Service department was absolutely awesome. Kim Gresham & Greg/Hot Rod are top notch. Super nice people. Had us rolling early the next morning. Very pleased with this dealership/service department. This service department should be used as a model for other dealerships. 5 stars all day.

Service department...brought my 2017 Road King in to get a tour pack installed along with a 10,000 service. Kim Gresham was especially helpful during the visit. she personally shepherded my bike through the entire process all while keeping me informed of the progress. It was an awesome visit and would recommend Bootlegger H-D service department. Kim, Greg and the entire service staff are knowledgeable, friendly and quite helpful. Very positive experience!

Worst dealership I have ever been to…and since I was asked to explain myself here goes. When I am lied to twice in two minutes over something trivial it makes me not want to do business with a dealership on the bigger things. Bootlegger was to release a Halloween shirt today.at 9 am, We show up at 9 am and there are only a couple 2xl and 3xl on the table, 3 out of the 4 that walked in at 9:00 am were very disappointed especially after staff informed us that out of town people called on the pbone for them??? Really shirt went on sale at 9 am, we were there at 9 am no line of people as same staff member took a phone call and said the Frankenstein shirt, no were sold out had a long line outside at 9am, seriously??? What was the stack of misc sizes stacked behind the counter?? When my friend saw a LG on the counter and said hey look heres a LG and same staff member slid shirt to herself and said thats for our parts person.I will never spend another dime at your store, I will post this on every search engine you are listed on, this was absolutely a slap in the face by your store and staff. How can you tell someone out of town people called dor them so us locals that spend $$there consistently dont mean anything to you?? The stack behind the counter that were saved for friends and staff?? We showed up at 9 am no line at all and all you have out are 2xl and 3xl, I will let all my friends and family and followings on my internet not to ever shop there or buy a bike. You are by far the worse Harled dealership ever to pull a stunt like rhis......

While traveling through Knoxville heading back to Virginia, my 2021 Ultra Limited started misbehaving. I was able to find Bootlegger HD online and discovered I was only 2 miles away. I limped to the dealership and was met by Kim Gresham, Service Advisor. Kim could not possibly have been more accommodating, as she had a service technician start diagnosing the problem right away. There were a few codes that needed to be cleared. Kim had me back on the road in less than an hour. Everyone at this dealership is to be commended...but no more so than Kim Gresham. Not only was she delightful, she was knowledgable, helpful and kind. Being 200+ miles from home, I was a bit anxious about getting home without a lot of hassle. Kim was awesome at reassuring me she would have the problem investigated and resolved as soon as possible. Thank you!!!

While today wasn’t my first time visiting this location, it was my first time with the service department. After today, I can fully understand why they are so highly rated. Kim and Grumpy are hands the best to work with in the service department. They both bent over backwards to help download my bike and then fix my front brake when we discovered it was broken. To top it off, Kim was able to get it covered on my warranty, too!Now...the front/sales. I have talked to several sales members and every single one has been very friendly and open to answer 100 questions. Tony has repeatedly made me feel welcome by coming over and saying hi. The clothing department ladies are always very helpful, friendly, and willing to answer any and all questions.Oh and I even did business with the parts department today and was very happy with the help received by those gentlemen, too.This is hands down THE BEST dealership I’ve been to. On January 31st, 2021, My boyfriend Scott and I were headed back to Kansas City, Mo from a stay in a cabin in Pigeon’ Forge Tennessee. We try to stop at every Harley store that we can when we travel. We pulled up to Bootleggers HD in Knoxville TN, and they were closed. We seen some people going in and out of store, so we asked a lady what time they opened because we wanted to grab a couple shirts to add to our collection. Not until noon. The ladies name is April, the Marketing Director, she asked us asked us what size we wore. She went inside for us and brought out 2 shirts and a poker chip, no charge. April is one hell of gal, with a stellar personality!! The store was having a huge event later today for a local lady with Stage 4 cancer. Sweet angel you are in our prayers, may God Bless you. We wish we could of stayed to attend such a special event. THANK YOU APRIL AT BOOTLEGGERS HARLEY DAVIDSON, YOU ARE ONE AWESOME LADY! 5 stars! You certainly brightened our day!

Bootleggers Harley has some amazing professionals. I took the riders course and Greg was an amazing instructor and made learning to ride a bike smooth and uncomplicated.Within a month I was purchasing my first bike and Joe and Kaleb was very helpful as I chose the right bike for me. It took me 3-4 times visiting the store before I finally purchased and they were very accommodating and never appeared to be discouraged when I said I still need to sleep on it.After I purchased the bike I worked with the parts department to and the service department to have a couple modifications done. Kim in service was great to work with kept me updated throughout the entire process. Including waiting to install the parts until after the nasty weather passed as I am still a new rider. It felt great to ride my new Harley Davidson home today!

Although nice in appearance was looking for a baseball cap with their logo but finally asked an employee and was told they dont carry them. This is the first dealership I went to that doesnt have them out of the seven I visited on my trip.

Great service in all areas your treated like family

Ryan was very helpful guiding me to the right new seat for my super glide. He was very patient and made sure to order the right parts. Ryan also showed me some good cleaning products to preserve the leather seat and clean up the chrome on the muffler.

So this was my first experience ever going to The bootlegger Harley-Davidson store. The salesman that I dealt with from start to finish was Tony. Let me tell you Tony is the man and he took care of me on trading in my old bike, as well as purchasing a new one. The entire store was over top making sure they were friendly and welcoming to me and my wife. I’ve purchased several motorcycles in the past and I’ve never been treated like this before. Tony was such a good guy to deal with that I plan on purchasing my wife a bike from him later this summer. Overall it was a great experience and I will be using them from now on for purchasing and maintenance. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a great Harley to go to Bootlegger Harley Davidson.

The staff at bootleggers harley davidson is amazing. I bought a used ultra and somehow a week battery slipped through unnoticed but no worries I contacted the service advisor Kim Gresham and she helped walk me through every step from removing the battery to testing it .finally it ended with a new battery **(free of charge)**. Thanks to my new friend I couldnt be happier . Thanks againRicky and dawn 😁

Battery issue came up while visiting from Colorado. Was able to bring it in for testing, and ultimately replacement, later that day. Kim and the service department got it into the bay right away to get back on the road quickly. Friendly staff and great customer service, definitely better than the other HD dealerships I’ve been to.

I took the basic course under the Bootlegger Academy director - Greg Dyke - who anchored it, and all of us (we were all very different riders and theres a range of drills) in the high vibe of a really good day of people enjoying what they do ... riding motorcycles. Ocourse we all had to pass the tests too & he kept that optimal information-absorption environment with his manner of balancing out teaching, trepidation, enthusiasm, and building the knowledge needed to build skill. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!

Great experience buying from these guys, especially with John. Very no-pressure, he just let me ride a couple bikes until I found the one that fit me the best. Once I picked it, the buying process went very smooth and quickly, no surprises, no strong-arm. Ill definitely go back to this dealership for merchandise, the group-rides they organize, and to buy another bike when the time comes.

Hate to give a bad review,but 2 and a half months after purchasing a brand new bike i still have no plates or paperwork. Second set of paper plates are now expired and all i get are excuses at best. Beyond disappointed

Great experience purchasing a bike at Bootlegger. Fastest finance purchase process I have ever experienced and the whole experience was pleasant and fast. I rode to the dealership on a bike and my son rode what I traded. My son had never ridden the bike I rode and I didnt want him riding it home so John (my salesman) followed us home on the new bike so we could get home and take the new bike. I have been back since the purchase and several people greated me by name. Great dealership.

We recently had the pleasure of having Bootleggers H-D install some go-fast parts on a couple of our bikes, and we couldnt be happier! We met April, their Marketing person, at a BHD benefit, and she directed us to Joe Losey (Parts) & Greg Bullen (Service). They brought in Greg HotRod Kaufman, their Service tech whos exactly the kind of horsepower mad dog you want bumping up your engines! Greg knows all those what works best with what combo details that made our Harleys LAUNCH! And last but not least - the lovely Kimberly, who juggles all the work orders to get us in & out quickly.On another note, Ive been riding ~36 years, visited dozens & dozens of dealerships, and no shop has ever made us feel as welcome as Bootleggers.  Were treated like FAMILY by everyone there!So THANK YOU, BHD! Took the bike down to have the 10,000 mile service and a rear tire change. Also had an issue with my ABS light; turns out I had a loose wire that was damaged. Parts werent in stock but Kim in the service department overnighted the part for me to speed up the service. She worked with me on pricing and gave me regular updates throughout the service. What a great place to have your Harley serviced!

Had the largest selection of boots, clothes, and bikes. They help you with sizes and selection. They had a lot of very good sales and deal. The sales manager is very nice and helpful!

Popz was very helpful when I was getting some highway pegs for my new bike. He went as far as getting a set of the wall to actually show me what iI was doing wrong.

They had a ton of selections for boots in all sizes, bike accessories, men’s and women’s clothing, and so much more. Not to mention the selection of bikes was about double any other store we went in. Lastly, the sales manager Tony was beyond exceptional. He gave us the full history behind the Harley Bootlegger T-shirt’s which was really interesting. He also was opening new merchandise and showing us all the brand new stuff. He was knowledgable about the merchandise and also beyond friendly and efficient. I would recommend this store to anyone and everyone!

I love my new Bike!! John (sales) did pressure me and honestly just wanted me to get a bike i would love that fit me. He spent a lot of time making sure i had seen everything i wanted too and took me Personally on a ride. He even pulled over half way through and answered questions. Awesome bikes with really great prices, lots of options

I completed the New Rider Academy on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020. Greg, our instructor, asked us to identify three goals on the first day. I said that I wanted to be 1. A safe rider, 2. A competent rider, and 3. A confident rider. Saturday morning saw me off to a shaky start. Greg and Pat were beyond patient and encouraging, offering me the advice I needed to get both feet off the ground and on the footpegs. I found the famous friction zone and learned to let that clutch be my best friend. The guidance and expertise demonstrated by the instructors was amazing. I am my own worst enemy, and they helped me get out of my head and love the ride!! I can NOT say enough great things about my experience. They have equipped me with the tools I need to smash my goals!! If you are considering this academy, consider no more!! DO IT!!!

Everyone at this location was so insanely helpful to me! I went in asking if they could help make a bike parade happen in memory of someone that passed away at my work. April Jacobs made that happen!! I was blown away by how many people she was able to get together for it! I couldn’t have asked for a better way to send him off! Thank you all so much!!
