Very clean and super staff. Was treated with the very best.
Alex is the bomb, is a very helpful salesperson....Thanks for helping us out.
Their service is 2nd to none. Very helpful technicians and very nice.
Geno he is the best.. Always take care of fining me the best car. ALWAYS PLEASANT AND EASY TO WORK WITH.
Excellent service not nearly as pricey as you would think I highly recommend all motors
Great service. Alice is a excellent service writer.
It was the best 😊 car buying experience I have ever had. The people were supper friendly and curtious. Our sales man was very knowledgeable and just as excited as we were. I Highly recommend Dahl Hyundai of Lacrosse Wi. I want to thank everyone that was involved in our experience.
Dahl Subaru services. Best in the world. That team is second to none. Need your car service go there. You will not regret it.
Great Service unlike Freds. Fix my belt problem I had since going to Freds at no extra cost.
Excellent customer service
The Hyundai service manager is fantastic. Waiting area is comfortable and large, with complimentary snacks. Theres a museum attached, but I didnt get a chance to check it out. Took one star off because they close early. I think their latest weekday appointment is 2:30, so unless I can get a coveted Saturday appointment, I have to take time off from work to get service done.
This was the best car trade in/lease experience I have ever had. Kevin and Heath provided top notch, Ritz Carlton style service! I really appreciated being able to get in and out quickly with exactly what I wanted!
I had a wonderful experience! They took my vehicle in quickly and had the work completed the same day. Staff was very nice and communicated with me throughout the entire process. The shuttle services with Robin was great.Definitely my new favorite go-to place for automotive services!
Car washes pretty good
We purchased our a Honda in May of this year and were offered a complimentary oil change and tire rotation. We arrived at approximately 10:30. Our vehicle returned checked out at 12:19. We asked a few questions about our vehicle and could not get answered we needed. Almost two hours for an oil change? We have asked and have been told different answered on how often we need to change our oil. Can anyone answer this simple question? We have been told everything from 10,000 to 5,000 miles. What is the difference between full synthetic and your synthetic blend. We were told when we purchased the car needed full synthetic.
Nice car museum attached, a must see if passing through the area and you like old cars. Great family history and timeline display.
Dahl Service Dept. installed a damaged part and then tried to blame me! Another company was able to prove they were at fault. Not a happy customer and now dont even want to get my oil changed there!
All they want to do is well you new car. Makes out like your car is on death bed but mostly exaggerate to make seem worse
Appreciate the honesty and transparency of my service advisor (Aaron R). My vehicle stopped on the highway and got towed to this place. He was open with what the problem was and what they did to fix it, and explained a potential issue with another associated part. What they charged for the service was very reasonable. Im a customer from out of town but wished this dealership was near my town.
In all, I had a good experience having my car serviced here. The staff is friendly and provided clear explanations of the services being done and the costs associated with these services. The waiting area is comfortable. I did have to wait for quite a bit to be helped when dropping off my car and picking it up, but this is my only complaint. I would gladly return here the next time I need repairs or services on my car.
Many businesses can learn from how they take care of customers. I had a recall on my new car and something came up after the software update where they have to keep my car for awhile and within 5 minutes Enterprise rent a car was there to pick me up and get me in a car just as Great as my Sonata sport is. When its time to trade in this car Dahl has a customer for life!
First time here and was I impressed. Customer service is their mantra, and bought my first Hyundai! Sorry other dealership who ignored me guess Dahl is my new go to place! Thanks for the painless car experience and I love my new vehicle!
This was my favorite auto shop for many years. They always did work super fast whether they were replacing a ball joint, diagnosing electrical problems or changing the oil. The only reason you have to wait is so they can wait for parts to come in, which you are going to have with ANY service shop. If your car breaks down or you have problems, you can drop it off overnight too, theyll just start work on it for you. I once had my brake lines blow at 2am on my way home from work. I limped it to the shop and left it with a note. By the time I woke up the next morning it was fixed. They have a lounge with nice chairs, cable TV, complimentary sodas and often times complimentary popcorn. They also have a complimentary shuttle service that I have utilized many times. These guys seriously bailed me out of so many problems while I was living in La Crosse its crazy.
The place looks very nice. The staff was fairly knowledgeable and mostly pleasant. I set up an appointment and was given service on time. Overall the service was in the quicker side relatively, as they were very busy. I had come in with two questions. To the first of my issues they told me they had no idea what was wrong. To the second they did find what was wrong and gave me an estimate to how much it may cost. This was all well and fine until they charged me just under $200, and gave me SOMEONE ELSES keys. Im still uncertain what they possibly could have done in that time which was worth that sum of money, and furthermore what value I had received for that cost. I guess I paid $200 to know where I will not be taking my car should I need to do so again.
Dude with Tats is nice!!
Service Tech was helpful
Great service!
Ken Koehler is the BEST!!!
Great service.
Call 10x to service department no one is answering the phone. Is the service department is out off business or close ?? Dont said sorry, fix the problem and do better service to the community. Hope this wont happen again.
Had a nail in my tire and brought it in. Quoted me a little over 30 dollars. Service tech came out and told me it was just a small nail and it didnt puncture the tire. He said there would be no charge! I appreciate the honesty and service you provide! 5 stars all the way!
Very unhappy. Did not do what they said they were going to do. Then made me wait 3 weeks. So now I cant trade this car. Never will do business there again.
I am seriously mad at them for treating me like they did, or this would be a five star review a few years ago... but they are changing, or more like degrading.. they are not willing to go a bit beyond to serve the customer like they used to be. Back in the day they would service imports... they would make the price right when they goofed up, the lounge area was nice, it had a window so you could safely watch your vehicle get repaired... Now that window is blocked, the service is black and white, no gray... when all of life is gray. I heard rumors for years that they treat their employees like garbage, and now it is plain to see that upper management is making middle management so miserable that they are now treating customers the way they treat employees...They abandoned me when I needed them to help... hence forth I will never grace them with my presence if I have a choice.
Dahl has really gone downhill. They used to have great customer service. They would be right there as you got out of your car ready to serve you. Now you wait and they hardly acknowledge you. Ive been going there ever since I got my new car. 8 years and they WERE great. Last time I went in for an oil change, I noticed my tire had more wear than the other 3. Oh whoops, they did the alignment wrong. Then after the oil change, they said my breaks were shot. Metal on metal. Front and back. 800.00. I said why are you only noticing this now. They said we havent looked at the car from underneath so we never noticed. Even though they were supposed to do a free tire rotation every other oil change which would allow them access to my brakes. Free tire rotation when tires are purchased at Dahl. I havent had the rotation for quite awhile even though I asked, they said I wasnt due for one. Back to the brakes. I brought my car in to another shop for a second estimate. I had my front brakes replaced but the back ones were fine. Far from metal on metal. 350.00. I think they are just looking to make money. They are getting to be too big and the customers are the ones who are paying. Too bad. I really used to like that place. I wont be going back and I hope this discourages others from going to Dahl Lacrosse too.
On my way to state track I got a flat tire. Took my car to Dahl Automotive without an appointment. Asked them if they could do anything. I also mentioned to the service advisor Jaime Arnold that I just found out I booked my room for the wrong day and I had no idea what to do. Jaime got my car in right away, tire was unrepairable as I had suspected, they had the same tire I had on there in stock! In the hour I was there, she went the extra mile to try to find me a place to stay! Your dealership and Jaime were a blessing during a tough day. Thank you with all my heart!
When I first went to look at my car, I was a little bit nervous, Im a college student who drives well over 50 miles a day, but after my test drive and talking to Jeff I felt pretty confident in my choice. I felt like a valued customer throughout my entire first experience at Dahl, even though I wasnt buying a new vehicle or even a moderately expensive used one; they made going through the paperwork and loan process easy and kept my stress levels to a minimum. About a month or so after I left the lot, I had a major problem with my car. Rather than being ignored like I was at the first dealership I had purchased a car from, the staff at Dahl took care of everything as quickly as they could and helped get me back on the road. I wouldnt recommend anywhere else to my friends or family and I know I wont be buying a car or having it serviced at any other dealership around!
Total rip off. Went in because my engine was misfiring. They charged $600 and didn’t even fix the problem. It was worse. They kept adding different parts to fix to make it ‘better’. It’s places like these that take all your money until you come to your senses and realize you aren’t going to have your problem solved there. Completely disappointed.
We take all our Trucks at Erics moving here!
They have complimentary beverages like coffee choices and water. Not to mention popcorn! (popcorn not available through covid19 pretty much though)
If you buy a used vehicle from these guys I would highly suggest also paying for the extended warranty they offer. Right off the bat I had to buy a new battery. Not a huge deal but a little spendy. Next thing was about three months later I had issues with the timing chain. If you know anything about that its a real big deal. So we got that fixed and then a couple months after that, the back struts went out and there goes a couple hundred more dollars. So we are 11 months into this vehicle and the big one happens. The timing went out again and completely ruined the engine. So basically we paid about twice what the vehicle was worth with all mechanical bills. Gave them two stars because its not all their fault but definitely be careful with what you buy from these guys.I also didnt mention the fact that two power windows dont roll down from the drivers side controls and the lights for the shifter only work part of the time.
Customer service was really bad. Had my new car towed there for warranty service. Had to call several times to find out the status, which took them a few days to even look at. The first person I spoke with was rude on the phone because it was near closing time. Their mechanics had to diagnose over the phone with other dealer mechanics because they arent trained on hybrids. Oh by the way, no loner car for 4 days! When I got my car back the inside was filthy from the mechanics shoes and gloves!!! Never again Dahl!
Great customer service. Stopped in with a check engine light and expected a second visit to repair... Fixed same day with minimal delay. Thank you.
Great place 2 see old Ford cars. A lot of history. $5 to get in
8/21/2019:I was in an accident and took the vehicle to Abra Autobody for repairs. Dahl Automotive did the suspension work in the rear. A few months later my vehicles tires were cupping in the rear. My alignment was off and the car was brought back in and was re-aligned.Part of the alignment was off still and the service adviser (Gina) told me that it cannot be fixed. I took the alignment sheet to my mechanic that I usually take it to and he told me it can be fixed. I brought the car back to Abra since Dahl makes me go through Abra for anything in regards to my accident instead of going straight to the problem. Jeremy at Abra was kind enough to take it to Murphys for me.Murphys stated that the right rear control arm was put in wrong. Dahl was notified, then, stated that the mechanics would have noticed doing the alignment and would not take the blame for it even though they did the entire rear ends suspension work. The car ended up needed two new tires because of this mistake. Dahl stated they would only pay for half of the new repairs even though it was their mistake. Thankfully, Jeremy at Abra said he would pay for the rest of it.Ultimately, I would stay away from Dahl Automotive La Crosse for any sort of repair work. The make many mistakes, do sub-par work, dont return phone calls, have bad attitudes, try to make you feel bad, and will not take responsibility for the mistakes they do make.8/23/2019I was told by Dahl that they would reach out to me shortly 2 days ago and I have yet to get a phone call or email from them wanting to talk about what happened. My previous post goes to show that they are unreliable and truly fo not care about customer service. They pretend to uphold high standards for the customer but, in reality, could care less about how the customer feels. They only care about their profit.10/17/2019I was never reached out to like they stated they would.
The service was good. Even though it took two and a half hours for an oil change. I guess it was busy? They allowed me to use my own oil and filter. Which was great.
I had a bit of an emergency. My tire was going flat. I work at a local hospital and live 50 miles away. I called Dahl because they were close. Its a Friday night and they close in about 15 minutes. They said come right in. Josh and Ashley were so nice and got my car right into service. The technican found the hole and patched my tire and had me back on the road. They had to stay late . I am so appreciative. This is my first experience with Dahl but it wont be my last! Thank you so much for a great customer experience.
VERY displeased. Bought a used car (subaru), and they failed to mention the car was in a MAJOR accident just months before we bought it. Now the car has easily accumulated twice its value in repairs. They tell you they will certify its safe and high quality before selling, however, this is completely BS. Repair staff also rude and inconsiderate, lacking basic manners. Stay away. Will not EVER buy another vehicle or get my car serviced here.
We bought a used Chevrolet from Dahl 3 weeks ago. At time of purchase (sales person were great!) there were a few repairs that needed to be done. Sales person said that the Service Department would call the following day to schedule time for work... one week later, I call in and service department had no info on our vehicle. 3-4 days later a service rep contacted me and a time was scheduled. 3 days ago I take my car in for repairs and the part had never been ordered... Today I take my car in again and guess what (!) they ordered the wrong part!!! So I have to take my car there again next week....lets hope the right part is there! To top it all off, the Service Rep kept saying is was not their fault. I corrected her. Then when my husband went to pick the vehicle up this evening she told him a whole other story and instead of not taking the blame, she told him it was my fault!!!!! OMG!! Im pissed right now....
Salesman Gene Arentz great to work with. Found a vehicle I absolutely love. Great finance options. All staff friendly. Not pushy. Would highly recommend.
This is definitely the most horrible experience I have ever had with a mechanic/dealership. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They overcharged me by so much and wouldnt let me drive my car anywhere else to get repaired (due to price) because it was unsafe to drive. They informed me that my car would be finished at the latest, a week after I dropped it off. They never called me to update me on my cars status and every time I called to ask about it, they were rude and acted extremely annoyed over the phone. I got my car 3 weeks later. They definitely take advantage of women drivers and believe we know nothing about our vehicles. Their customer service was horrible. And as if it couldnt get any worse, when I picked up my car the automatic start no longer worked and my car wouldnt start manually right away. NEVER go here for any type of service.
Do NOT use this dealer for parts. I asked them to get me everything I needed to do a repair, drove the hour to pick up parts, got into the project only to realize I was missing a part, called back they said that needs to be ordered separate, drive back got this part, turns out this part didnt come with the seals, call back they say yes, they need to be ordered separate, again another day another hour drive. Go to put fittings on and the fittings dont work, turns out they ordered the wrong part for my truck. When I called to tell them they said oh yeah, that model needs the entire radiator, now that I am $400+ dollars into nonreturnable parts, I call a local auto parts store to see if I can find fittings that will work. I explain my situation and she said let me guess you ordered parts from Dahl? You are the 3rd person this month with this problem that we have spoken to.
Was hoping I had found a reputable dealer. Had service done and was reviewing the bill, and surprise, an additional 15% for shop supplies! No mention of this before service was done. When I inquired, my agent didnt know. He asked someone else, and I was told for miscellaneous supplies. I was told every Dahl service customer get this. Like that would make me feel better. I felt ripped off.
Alex is an excellent salesman. He helped me get into the most SUV that fit my lifestyle and family needs. Alex is very knowledgeable and confident in his work. He was able to answer all of my questions in full detail without hesitation. He assisted in setting up my Bluetooth, which my car came equipped with, as well as recommended me to an excellent place to have an extra entertainment system installed (at an excellent price I must add) to help keep my 4 little ones entertained. Even though the sale is now final, Alex said I am not just a customer, but now a friend and I can come to him with any concerns or questions that I may have. At first I was very nervous about buying a car, but by the end I felt as I was family. Thank you a million Alex. You are great at what you do. Keep up the excellent work. I cant wait to try out your restaurant, Iguanas Mexican Street Café on state street. Nothing beats authentic. :)
Great
Took very good care of my car and friendly service.
Worst car buying experience I have ever had. Bought a used Durango from them, numerous times during the buying experience the salesmen kept saying Dahl was the most reputable dealership in La Crosse - I now find that very hard to believe. Almost immediately after getting the Durango home, it starts not running right. Take it back to them, days after buying it, and they acted like they had never seen me before. I wasnt asking for them to fix it for free or anything. I understand the chance you take buying a used vehicle, but I dont think there was any way this thing passed the inspection they claim to have done on it prior to selling it. I just wanted to know what was wrong with it, sales pawned me off to the service department. The service department were the rudest people I have ever seen.... they were so arrogant and rude to me I could not believe it. Had to time at all to see what was wrong with the vehicle, I was so mad I said forget it and left with no help from them... I have worked in customer service for 10+ years, and if I acted like Eric is the service department I would have a job for about 5 minutes. I would be very leery buying anything from them. I definitely would not take anything to get repaired from them.
A must see! I throughly enjoyed every detailed feature, so much fun.
I been driving Vibe for week now & I find things; like a rock hit window ... When? I heard about Dahl & fixed window .... Amazing, it went fast & disappeared!
Burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice shame on me, get burned a third time...all hell breaks loose. Today I dealt with Dahl service hopefully for the last time. I called to get a 60K check for my Hyundai Elantra Touring. I double checked when scheduling the length of the $450 appointment...3 hours. Well today, after the car got dropped off at 6am it is only first being looked at at 11:30am. Apparently the service tech that took my appointment did not write down my request to pick up by 11am. Why else would I make an appointment if I could have just dropped in and could have been serviced then and there. So I am left to a quick get it in appointment today. What kind of customer service is this, shame on you Dahl automotive. This tops off another appointment when a car tech broke off a tire sensor and tried to blame it on a manufacturer faulty weld and salt corrosion, and another appointment when the tires quoted and installed mysteriously were $200 more than when I made the initial appointment (with an email to prove the price). Bob Dahl (service manager n no relation to the Dahl family owners) you need to get off your ass and work on the service. Gina you need to listen to your customers and car techs, please try to use some skill.
Poor service, it took nearly 4.5 hours to have them do an oil change. My father, my son and I went to the show room while we were waiting, the guy that worked the show room told us we had to leave right then and there because his shift was over. He literally walked behind us rushing us out the door. No apology, super rude and short. And then once they finished the oil change the didnt charge us anything. Didnt give us a reason why they didnt charge us and again pushed us out the door. SUPER RUDE, I will never get anything done on my vehicle through this place, and would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.Completely disappointed in their service as I was told by others different.
I thought the woman who worked in auto repair center was quite professional. However someone called my mother and quoted a price of $100 per new tire. She agreed to this price. When we came to pick up car the price had become $167 per new tire. !!!!!. But we were in a rush to visit family in hospital so we just got out of there.
Extremely poor customer service, it was clear that customers do NOT matter to them. I would not recommend them at all. Wont honor their word.VERY DECEIVING! I would be glad to give more details, but please avoid this place!!!! Manager and assist manager were extremely rude! The only nice person was the salesman.
Absolutely would not recommend. I asked them to service my car before I drove it cross country the only thing they focused on was selling me new tires in reality they claimed that they topped off all of my fluids and changed my oil but instead they did not top off any of my fluids my brakes were screeching and I ran out of oil in Wyoming causing my engine to almost blow up. When then taking my Subaru to a tire specialist they said my tires were the least of my worries. Because none of my fluids were topped off I had to get new brakes and almost destroyed my power steering and I was completely out of oil after only driving 2000 miles. And there were no leaks anywhere.
Diagnosed and fixed the problem in one visit (parts on hand) under quote! Provided transport to a restaurant and called by the time we are saying the work was finished. Friendly too!
Dont get brakes done here. Had new rear pads and rotors put on mid Feb. of 2019 and they are shot mid April 2019 after being put on wrong. Not to mention I was in Rapid City, SD when the brakes acted up and had them checked out there and the mechanic there said the issue was from them being put on wrong.
Helpful and clean comfortable waiting room. Friendly service, and they answer all questions cheerfully. Great place to take your vechile.
Great place to buy a used vehicle. Very nice people!
Brought my vehicle in for an inspection to get a quote on how much it would cost to get it tuned up and road worthy for a few thousand miles. They first did the wrong inspection. I called and they came and got my vehicle immediately to do the right one. When they dropped it off they gave me no quote list. No recommendations, nothing at all. The inspection list was not professional at all. I’m not coming back here for any work but for my recalls.
Went here today after I made my appointment a week and a half ago and the guy I spoke to a week ago told me that they could reset my key for my car since I accidently set up a mykey. I explained to him that I only had one key and he was like let me make sure we can reset it and I said ok he came back on the phone and told me that they could indeed reset the key and it would be about $115 I said ok lets schedule it, so we scheduled it for this morning at 8am to get reset. I went in and got checked in and the first lady was really sweet and nice and than after she was about to show me to the lobby some other lady came out and she says oh we cant help you and I said what and she goes well you only have one key and I said well yea and your employee told me you could reset the key since it was my only key and she was like well we cant and I said ok well than what can you do for me and she was like nothing unless you purchase a key. I was like well thats dumb as hell when your employee is the one that told me I could do this and I drove all the way here which is an hour out of my way from work just to get this done and she was like well you can purchase another one and I again told her that is not doable for me since it was her employees mess up and not mine. She told me that she doesnt know why her employee said that but there is nothing they can do.. that to me was not professional and I definitely will not ever do business with any DAHL Fords ever again!!! Yalls customer service sucks! I had multiple people tell me not to go thru yall but I did anyway.. now I know not to ever trust yall again!
Every experience Ive had with Dahl service has been phenominal. Gina Marie is the Bombdiggitty! Knowledgible, friendly, she is of the highest caliber as is everyone I met there. The customer area & museum, coffee, snacks all complimentary. Even the restrooms were spotless. I dont know your secret but judging from all the Dahl pictures and history they have the right ingredients. I found out today I can bring my second car for oil changes also. I always have to leave it overnite at Bob burgs/morries vw for oil change. Very inconvenient. Not anymore. Every other dealer could learn from you
If you like vintage cars its a must see. The museum is quiet and has a unique collection of cars an memorbelia
Kyle D. Made our buying experience the best one we have had to date.
Went to Dahl Ford Lincoln and purchased a vehicle. I worked with Dan Sake and he was wonderful to work with but DONT EVER WORK WITH Missy Pitel the Business Manager and Josh Anderson the Finance Manager. They flat out lied to my face regarding the warranty on the vehicle. I asked them pointed questions regarding the warranty and they told me things were covered on my vehicle when they arent. Dahl has completely lost my business and DONT go there and work those two people because they are liars and just want their commission bonuses.
Update: I upped my review to three stars bc after I called and explained my issue, the service department dod try to make it right. If I could give zero stars I would. I have never left this place without some type of issue.
Great place, great sales staff. wonderful museum.
Extremely organized very efficient, very informative before doing any unforeseen work that maybe needed
We were both looking for vehicles, sales and didnt seem real focused, didnt listen to what we were each looking for, and push about a loan. My wife bought a car at Keenans Cherryland, and I bought a truck at Sleepy Hollow within a week and both very satisfied with them!! Actually glad Dahl kinda turned us off and pushed us away.
Good selection but cars everywhere hard to tell what was for sale.
Great show room with the antique cars.good place of business
Always great and friendly service!
Beautiful waiting area with activities to do for all ages, snacks and beverages! Very impressed!
Good service. Nice museum.
Went to have my car looked at. Nice place. Kinda pushy
Oil change w/o appointment. Great waiting room; even a kids room.
I cant speak about buying a car here because I never have and I think most of the negative reviews are from that, however I love their service. Their lounge is second to none and their service has always been great.
Their lounge area here is great! Complimentary popcorn and soda for their guests.
Very helpful and polite! I suggest everyone buys cars there.
Great place, beautiful cars, best staff Ive seen in a long time!
Always leave with a problem. Last time they left my hood unlatched.
Great help! Good car knowledge! Will buy from again!
Great, fast service. I highly recommend for general maintenance.
Best service for Hyundai anywhere.
They can help you find the car that fits your needs
Quick oil change, reasonably priced with amazing customer lounge
Good all around service and they contribute to the surrounding community.
Went in to get my oil changed as part of my powertrain warranty. Around 12:30 Thursday November 2nd. When I got there I was told I should get my spark plugs and transmission fluid changed as well. I said sure. I was not told those two, transmission fluid and the spark plugs, ARE NOT covered by my warranty and that I would most likely have to pay the difference. I sat waiting 3 hours for my car to get done, when I was told it should take about 2 and a half at the most. I had to work at 4pm, they didnt care. I ask around 3:30pm if my car is done. Said it was just finished and told me that the transmission fluid and spark plugs I had to pay for. I told them I had Zurich insurance and they said Zurich doesnt cover transmission fluid and spark plugs. I was already late for work and needed to get out of their and paid it even though I didnt have the money and even though I felt they were wrong. I should of thrown a fit but I just wanted to leave. I looked into what powertrain warranty covers and it says engine, transmission, and drive axle are covered under the warranty. I shouldnt have been charged for the transmission fluidand it shouldnt have taken them 3 hours.
