This was the only Starbucks that I have visited, which has been over a handful, that has made the featured Strawberry Funnel Cake Frap as pictured. All the others skimped on the Strawberry puree. I know there is a shortage of supply but the prices have not gone down to reflect the loss of ingredients, so I am glad I finally got what I paid for.
Convenient Starbucks location within walking distance of our hotel when we were in town for the races at MIR. Staff was friendly and the drinks were great.

The drive through is horrible absolutely every time I go there. Poor set up and they can’t keep up.
They really need to work on the gridlock caused from the slow drive thru. Like, let us order & then bring it to my car if you have to. Hire another worker. Get a stronger drive thru team. Im done getting into arguments bc the drive thru is backed up into the adjacent parking lot behind it. There is another coffee shop down the street.
Line can get long at drive thru but its always moving. I always mobile order.
The cashier at window with I think purple hair was extremely sweet n chatted with me for a moment n I appreciate that
Good service usually. One time I was not satisfied but it was due to my own mistake. The employee at the window made me feel worse. I had an online order and was unsure how it worked in the drive thru. I passed where you talk to someone as I didnt know how it worked. I was then too far so no one could hear me so whe I drove up to the window, I explained what happened. She was rude and condescending. I apologized multiple times but she just made me feel worse. I have worked in retail for a long time and you should never have a customer feel worse about a mistake. Anyway, two other employees who finished my order was great.

I needed WIFI for a zoom meeting.Had a cold drink and listened to the meeting. It was a bit noisy, do glad that I didnt need to unmute very much.
I was really excited about my sweet venta vanilla ice macchiato and then I saw them pour out the shots of expresso, it broke my heart.

The drink was delicious as usual. However the drive thru consistently moves in slow motion. The drive thru staff is not as friendly as I’m accustomed to. The drive thru convenience is the only reason I continue to patronize this location.
I went through the drive thru. Got to the window and one of my drinks was not even rang up. Then they charged me for the drink and I got half way down the highway to realize the drink was wrong....
This is a nice location. They have a pretty solid system set up for filling orders. The only issue I had was the music was turned up a little too loud. It was difficult to hear the baristas when they were calling names for orders complete.
This store is amazing, theyre very helpful and kind. 9/10 they get my orders correct and when its not correct, they immediately fix it and apologize. This is one of the few stores that get my drink correct and not have a strange aftertaste. I definitely recommend stopping at this store if you have time to do so.

Spent 30 minutes waiting for 2 drinks. Dont waste your time going inside to get anything because they will put you at the back of the line. Better yet take a 30 min nap instead lol! Ive been served at restaurants for real food faster than I can get a simple drink here. Very frustrating.

Customer service could be a lot better with certain employees. Most are very nice and welcoming. Store is very clean all the time.
I put in a mobile order and 25 minutes later I was still waiting for it. Hot or iced beverages get made first but blended beverages dont. My other two drinks were ready 15 minutes after I ordered, but had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the blended beverage. Also, I dont know if the changed the PSL or not, but mine did not turn out good and neither did my dads.
What a lovely store. While it can be a bit slow, they take great care to get your order correct and are quite welcoming.
Even while we navigate Covid-19 the store has the best baristas.

I just want to give a shout out to the Laplata Starbucks staff!! During this time of uncertainty not being able eat out and sit down inside businesses a customer has apprehensions of how the companies are handling our food. These guys have taken the initiative to place the payment pad outside the window, the customer doesn’t have to enter a PIN number and the cashier placed their gloves hands on the cup where you will not touch or drink!! Kudos to you guys... Thank you for being proactive and protecting your staff and your customers

For the past few months I have been getting morning coffee and the coffee has tasted burnt the last few times I have gone.
Kids favorite place for a mid day snack. The staff here are always helpful with accommodating my specialty order.
The wife loves the sugar free vanilla latte with whole milk and I ♥️ the smell of coffee brewing. I myself prefer to have coffee at home the traditional way from the coffee pot. Good Job! 😎🤓
If you want really good coffee you cant beat the Donut Connection just down the road by Subway

Always a home away from home! Nice, peaceful and great food! The fact that these young ladies and men show pride in the food that they make keeps me coming back! Love the service and the acknowledgement that they remember your face it’s a warm welcome in the morning that has you starting your morning off right!

This Starbucks is always great for me. While consistently busy, the staff maintain the local shop feel with warm greetings and conversations while they work. The manager, Alvin, does a great job of selecting, training and encouraging his staff. Of course, the lattes and baked goods are always awesome, it is Starbucks after all.
I would like to give a special shout out to the young man at the register. I didnt get his name. I went inside to order a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The guy making the sandwiches looked a little overwhelmed. He forgot mine and a couple other people. The young man gave me a gift card and refunded me what i paid for. I did not get my sandwich but things happen people get busy. The young guy defiantly knew how to recover him and his staff. The guy making sandwiches could use a little help especially when it gets busy around 8:00 am. Have a wonderful day :)

Great atmosphere, rarely too crowded, always clean. Employees are delightful; they remember and greet their regulars like old friends. I live here between classes during the semester and cant imagine studying anywhere else. Food and drinks are top notch. Give these people a raise!

I asked to get a refill of coffee, but the staff whose age is 50s or60s said that I can get the refill today, but usually I can’t once I leave the cafe. Ok. I totally understand. But I actually didn’t leave there. I told him I was here and he said he didn’t see me inside the cafe for a while. Yes, because I was at the terrace seat. He was just seeing inside but not the terrace. I told him about this and he just said it’s fine.He never said Sorry to me even I was ashamed in front of people. That’s totally his mistake and he didn’t say Sorry.Everybody makes a mistake, but why can’t he just say Sorry? Is it normal?

I stopped in while doing some holiday shopping to order a cafe vanilla frappuccino. The service was fast and friendly and my frappuccino was delicious. Thanks for a great experience. I will be returning soon.
So very disappointed with this local establishment. Every time I visit this place I am met with rudeness. Maybe it is a question on their application. Can you be rude? If so, you are hired! After reading many comments here on Google I see that many people have commented on their rudeness. It must not be an issue for the managers/owners, for clearly they have done nothing about it. Last weekend I came here with my granddaughter. We were greeted with a what can I get you. My response was hello, how are you. No response from the young woman. We placed our order and never even received a thank you. Well, today was the last time I will go here. I went in to purchase just a breakfast sandwich. The gentleman put my food in to be heated. While it was heating he proceeded to pick up the mats that were either under the drinks or possibly the ones on the floor. They were not that large so I am going to assume they were possibly drip mats from where they make the drinks. Lets hope so. At any rate, he put them in the sink and then handled my food. I just looked at him. You just had those dirty things in your hands and now you are handling my food. I guess my face must have said it all, because another young man asked if everything was okay. I said no. I explained what just happened. He did offer to make another. But, I was done. Rudeness and no common sense seem to prevail at this Starbucks. If you want really good coffee, go to Donut Connection. It is less expensive and they are always polite.
This Starbucks is the worst, I just recently started to come to this location because of COVID19, understandably the lines are long but every visit has been a miss. The latte’s are made ahead and just tweaked based on what’s ordered. As a result the expresso is flat and your left with cup of milk and wanting to go back to sleep.

Its a Starbucks whats not to love other than Its Run and operated by liberals. Pretty much like any other Starbucks Ive ever been in. If you go to the Starbucks its pretty much like every single one youre going to see in the United States for the most part. Unless you got some really wacked out socialist liberal run and it.
This is the only one I like. I have went to the one in St. Marys County and a couple in Calvert County. Every time I go to the one in LaPlata, my drink is hot and taste good. I never have had to ask them to remake my drink. And the service is fast. Can not say that for the others.

Get ready to get the wrong order. And I got a bagel with cream cheese and butter. No cream cheese and I was given a fork. There always screwing up.
The Starbucks is small but cozy. Had no problems with the staff or the coffee and food. Managed to get one of the very comfortable chairs in the corner and take advantage of the Wi-Fi. As usual in any Starbucks the coffee and food are pretty expensive, but we all know that before we go in. Morning staff is quite friendly and efficient.

Friendly staff and clean space. A variety of seating options with some outside space. Everything else is standard Starbucks. They are always willing to do a pour over of dark roast, which is my preference.

The iced lemon pound cake I had a to sale by date of 11/20/2019. It was 1/2/2020 when it was purchased.
This Starbucks is conveniently located if youre driving through Maryland on 301, and consequently is almost always busy. Staff is friendly but service is slow and drinks are of average quality (for Starbucks). Drive-through is slow and gets backed up. Youre probably better off going inside unless you really want to stay in your car.

My daughter got a Grande pink drink and it was filled to the top of the cup with ice. 3 sips from the straw and the pink drink was gone. The profit margin for this drink must be huge. I feel the profit from the drink came before customer satisfaction. Next time, we will have to state light ice.
I was in the drive thru and they didn’t give me a straw or napkins! We had already pulled out, so I had to wait while it got warm(it’s a cold drink) to drink it!

The staff is very goofy, yeah there are moments where they arent paying attention and may come off as rude. BUT, the service and drinks are amazing. I love the conversations and jokes they share. If you ever visit ask for Ayanna, Anthony, Rebecca or Ari. I can assure your drink will be delicious.

I always stop here on my way into Maryland from Virginia. The staff is super friendly and are really fast. One of my favorite Starbucks stores. The bathrooms are clean and the wifi is faster than some other stores. Really love this place.
